I bought a Sony PS[protected]F) from M/s Arun Electronics, Yamunanagar (Haryana), who is a Sony authorised dealer on 14/10/2009 vide invoice no. 7860.
The dealer sold the product giving wrong information. We are facing many issues & problems with the product, which is not giving satisfactory service.
Your dealer is even not enertaining any of the issues with the product, claiming that he or his chandigarh service centre does not have adequately trained staff to attend this item.
This is a very wrongful act on his part. He has also acknowledge his mistake & assured us that he will not sell this product again.
We also contacted the Sony service centre in Chandigarh and also a person named Mr. Sumit Sain & also your Gurgaon office. However nobody made any efforts to solve our problems. The refused by saying that they do not know anything about the product. We feel that in case they don't know anything about the product, they don't have the right to sell it.
You will appriciate that a lot of harassment has been meted out to us despite the Purchase of GLOBALLY REPUTED BRAND " SONY".
Please immidiately provide replacement/ refund for the product & save us further harasssment.
Please do the needful as soon as possible.

    This is narayana from vizianagaram - andhrapradesh - india. i was purchased sony ericson c702 mobile one year back. Two months back my mobile was damaged. i want to change my mobile panel and i consult with sony ericson service center visakhapatnam - andhra pradesh - india. they ordered for panel, till this time they told, there is no stock in company. what is this? Why we pay more money and purchase these type of mobiles?. i consult with coustmer care also there is no response from there. i will ready to pay money for new panel.

    Sony Ericsson — keys and up keys not functioning properly, automatic off and contacts are automatically deleted

    i gave my sonyericson w205 for service my workorder no is se310ec112666 and i submitted my mobile on 10 th october 2010 in sonyericson service center kottivakkam branch in chennai. they did not take steps to repair my mobile and they are extending the dates sop i want to confirm when they will service my mobile properly. and also i hav warranty for my mobile.

        I bought Sony Ericsson W395 handset on 24th Mar 2010 from that day i m facing problem in that handset. Using handset for long time it get heat and white display comes and phone gets restarts. And also when i was plan to buy this handset i inquired about his SMS capacity that i was informed that Approximately 600 SMS can be easily saved but i am not able to save more than 80 SMS.

        SONY ERISSSON — Defective handset

        I had purchased a SONY W910i handset on 21st Dec 2007. Since the day of purchase i was facing problems in making outgoing calls. I have been following up with Sony through mails since my purchase(Case :[protected]. Apart from facing problems in making outgoing calls with my phone, it stopped working after sometime. . I had to submit the phone to Sony's authorised service centre on 13th Feb 2008, the details of which are mentioned below:

        COMPLAINT ID: SES08KT311315
        Even 15 days after submitting the phone to the service centre, neither the service centre people, nor the Sony guys seems to be bothered in solving out my problem. Each time they give me a date, they come with a new excuse. I am fed up with these attituteds and feel that i am being cheated despite investing so much on a new product. They have done all sort of R&D on the phone.
        The latest mail(23rd Feb '08) that i have received from Sony is mentioned below:

        This mail is in reference to your complaint regarding Sony Ericsson handset W910i.We assure to restore your faith in our services. It is unfortunate to hear of the difficulties that you are experiencing with your Sony Ericsson mobile phone and we thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

        We apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. We already have escalated this complaint to the Sony Ericsson service center and feedback is still awaited. We request you to please wait till monday as we would contact with Service center person and will provide you the best possible solution.



        I am totally frustrated, please help me.

        Sony Ericsson — defective handset

        I purchased a new sony ericsson hand set from Hot Spot, 242A C-134/B Sector 61 Noida on dated 05-04-08. from the very beigining other persons were not able to hear my sound. i take it tt sector 18 authorised service station,
        they repair it . now after few days back light of my hand set has gone and touch screen is not working.

        when i took it to sector 18 noida again they told me to replace its display system n asked Rs.3234 /- My set is under warranty period.
        pls get my set replaced or i have to go consumor forum.

        Sony Ericsson — Defective Handset

        I purchased the Sony Ericsson W610i from the J.L.K. Enterprise Experience Store, Nehru Place, New Delhi on 28 May 2008 by cash payment of Rs. 10, 600.The mobile was defective as I was not able to send/receive any calls/msgs through it. I rushed back to the store next day, where after prodding the defective mobile for an hour or so, the salesmen told me that they were not responsible for the defective piece and that I would have to go to a service center to get it repaired.

        I deposited my defective mobile phone at the Mobile Vision Repair Center, Faridabad (Near Fawda Singh Chowk) on 31 May 2008, Case ID: N3FBD[protected], where I was told the handset would be sent to the Okhla Head Repair center. After a week, I called the repair center and was told that the mobile phone had been repaired. When I was handed the handset back, I saw that I still could not make any calls or send any msgs. Later I found out that the handset had not even been sent to Okhla. The technicians apologized and informed me that the handset could not be rectified and since it was a brand new handset, it will be replaced with a new one.


        After more than 2 months, that too after sending hundreds of mails, making thousands of calls to the customer care center, noting down their case ids (e.g. SE714-4061, SE743-1709, SE[protected], I got back the same handset on 07 August, 2008 and not a new one.

        It does not end here. The handset, I saw, had been damaged externally (scratches, screen dust, worn-off paint), the keypad wasn’t working properly (menu, clr & astrix button), their were photographs, mp3s & contacts saved in the handset belonging to I-DON’T-KNOW-WHO and I am pretty sure the handset had been used by this person for quite some time.When I showed this to the man behind the counter at the service center he cleverly master reset the handset.

        I came home and immediately called the customer care again and told them everything. They promised they would look into the matter and call me back. It has been 2 weeks and still no sign of a new handset or at least their call.

        I know their PR is handled by Webner & Shandwick Corp voice. I have refrained myself from filing in the consumer court against Sony Ericsson & J.L.K. Enterprise till now. But now I am starting to lose my patience.

        Please advise.

        SONY ERICSSON W580i influenced lots of people when it came in the market. The slogan of this phone was THE WALKMAN PHONE. I bought this phone. But now i am regreting. Why did i buy this phone? I have no answer to this question now. I think this is one of the worst set ever discovered. Good in no sense.

        I purchased this set few months before. Its so disgusting to say that the battery life of the set is not more than few hours. The keypads are made up of low quality materials. My phone's all keys have been cracked.

        Similarly, the connector to the charger, handsfree and usb cable is not working properly. The connector works with the charger and usb cable but not with the handsfree. I complained this to the customer care center of sony ericsson. They replied me that this type of connector problem is seen in most of the phone of this model (Sony Ericsson W580i). They further said that it cannot be repaired. Now whats the use of this walkman phone without the handsfree function.

        Once there was a problem in NOKIA's battery. The company replaced all the batteries in its own expense. So, sony ericsson should also replace all the defected W580i model phones if it want to maintain its goodwill in the market.

        I want my phone to be replaced. Everyone who purchased this phone are requested to raise a voice against it. I think this is the only way the company understands the customers problem. I also request all the media person to make a report no this issue and telecast it world widely. Its a heartly request.

        sony ericsson/ w350i — replacement of handset

        i had purchased sony ericsson handset w 350i in jan-2009, its IMEI number is; [protected].
        i am facing bunch of problems with dis handset.
        1) i am facing the network problem when i interduce any gsm sim
        2)photos taken by inbuilt camera are not saved in d mobile
        3)it automatically switch off
        4)it automatically changes ringtones by default.
        i contacted the distributer in ludhiana (punjab) & he said that there is sofrware related problem which needs to be replaced .
        its hardly one month that i am using this handset. & i am not satisfied with the handset.
        for convenience kindly replace this handset.

        Yes it's true.
        Sony ericsson is a fake company with no customer service and should be banned from this country. I also bought a W395 on 8th september 2009, I found my handset to be defective(frequent call drops within 2-4 minutes, unable to access SMS directories & editer, hanging problem )
        since last 20th my handset is in service center. It has got its PCB to be replaced. I'm waiting for a right chance to drag this cheap sony ericsson to consumer court.
        Really harassing.

        i bought sony ericsson w395 last month but with in a week it stated hanging and it is not supporting any softwares,themes,motion games but in the sony ericsson official site it was mentioned that it supports themes, java softwares,themes and many more its all fake do justice with me.please return me my money back.

        I purchased a brand new sony W395 in 16th Nov and in 20th Nov i found several problem coming up Phone automatically switching off and on Responding very slow not being recognised by Sony PC SUITE itself, taking 2minutes to play a song after pressing the play button............ In ONE WORD A "PATHETIC PURCHASE "
        Moreover doesnt store more than 30 messages and the camera of 2M.P. doesnt have zoom who will beleive that. I have taken the cell to seller and i was asked to take it service centre the vendor said it wont be taking more than 6 days 2 fix it as it software problem but after talking with Service centre guy they said they gonna give me the cell after 20 days which is still not sure. So after buying a new cell in 3days i hve 2 wait for a month 2 use my cell in good condition with no gurantee....I never found Sony so to make this kind of cell.....I never gonna buy a Sony Cell phones again in my life!!!

The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

        But i had to send it for repare twice for 1 month and for 10 days

        The sony people changed the mother board and repared the display
        this all was done in warenty
        so can i request them to return my money due to this problem

        what the hell man .the worst set that is w395.i gave it 3 time in care center but the problem is now much more.i will never purchase the sony handset .and i also asked to my friends to not to buy that most worst handsets of that company
        i bought a Sony W395 model 10days back. and ever since it has been giving problems. earlier too i had similar experience with sony handsets. still i bought this one hoping that things might have improved. the set is very very slow. and after about 9-10 hours the screen goes blank. the cell regains CONSCIOUSNESS after about 10 minutes on its own. even the battery discharges very quickly.

        The authorised service station has given back the unit by telling all the problems have been rectified as indicated in the work order Number :SE310AHY15636 dated Sep16 2010 3:46. To this effect the station personnel have obtained the signature by explaining that the unit will work as per the time program set in the unit. To my surprise the unit was not displaying any thing as per the manufactured standereds. If such service stations are made to exist, customers are put to inconvinience to visit your service stations repetedly, there by your reputation is at trouble. I may be a customer among plenty who could not report to your office due to ignorance about the equipment.Since the unit was under one year warenty after the sale the service station has done this mischeef. Kindly look into this and do the needful to avoied repeeted visits of the customers to your authorised service stations.
        i brought sony w395 7 month back but sice that day to now i have so many problems come everday in this mobile, so many time working is very slow and voice problem and now i have display problem.
        and your costomer service is not good they are not able to satisfy the clint. they said that they dont ave the parts of the sell phone for the repairing. i'm saying if you dont have facility why opend the sony center

        i had brought my mobile on 17 of october 2009. i had given it for service so many times .they told me that sotware need to be updated .again when i went to the service centre he told that mother board is problem and he had send the mobile to company .even then after my mobile is getting heated up for 2 minutes itself. when i went to the srvice centre they told me that they cannot do any thing

        This is regarding a Sony Ericsson W100i (Spirio) - IMEI no[protected] purchased on the date 20/11/2010 from the following address

        The above mentioned model developed a Bluetooth snag as soon as it was purchased. The model also hanged more than couple of times.

        After going to the same showroom on 22/11/2010, the salesman (Rahul /Santosh) said that the same has got virus and needs to replaced which he did.

        Neeru Enterprises replaced the phone on 22/11/2010 giving us the new handset. But to my surprise the NEW handset had the same problem again.

        Yesterday on 24/11/2010 in afternoon the salesmen at the showroom said that the software needs to be upgraded and he upgraded the software.

        However, the problem still could not be corrected. On top of it, when we went at the showroom yesterday evening the salesman just refused to accept that the both the handset did have a problem.

        After argument and several tests with different devices they finally accepted that there was manufacturing defect with the handset.

        But the worse was yet to come, they refused to refund Rs 4600/- !!

        On top of that, they informed that I need to purchase another Sony Ericsson handset of higher value (Rs 5200/-) because there is nothing below that price. (they wanted me to pay Rs 800 extra for a bad handset, so that I can be ill treated further.)

        Today (25/11/2010) after the our 6th round of the showroom, wasting petrol, time and money, the showroom has conveniently informed us that the second handset has gone to the service centre and will be available only after a week.

        After going through such horrible customer service experience I don't think I can ever buy a Sony Ericsson and would urge others not to do the same.

        This is to inform that I have purchased new phone on 02 june 2011 and after 03days I started facing problems like its display was getting blank than given to service centre and they have removed battery and re installed and software was updated its work order no is se311at212103 dt 06june 2011, and again the same problem started than service centre people taken the mobile and than sent it to chennai and replaced the mother board its work order no was se311at212213 dt 14june 2011, and than same problem occured that its display gone blank again so again mobile was given to service centre and this time they have replaced the battery and its work order no was se311at212524 dt 05july2011 now problem is battery back up is very less battery is not giving for 01day once fully charged battery after an hour it is drained to 10% without attanding any call or any internet brousing simply battery is drained so pls consider as a serious issue and do the need full as early as possible.now again the mobile has been given to service centre and they have sent it to Chennai for further service and i dont know when this issue will be solved, and its work order no is se311at212841 dt 28 july 2011.

        NOTE:-I AM FED UP WITH THIS MOBILE AND CAN YOU RE- FUND MY MONEY TAKING THIS MOBILE BACK OR GIVE ME ANY OTHER MODEL MOBILE AND I AM READY TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE AMOUNT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEM AND DO NEED FULL AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

          My Sony ericsson Mobile W580i was giving problem in Audio as well charging.I give it to repair at Technocare in lajpat nagar sony ericsson authorized service centre.The service centre offer very poor service in terms that they never give any intimation to customer about fault,quotation or handset ready to collect or not.Infact not even pick phone given on bill which was complaint of every customer there.They charge huge amount saying faulty part replaced.As charged 1564 Rs to me.When i checked before taking find that charging slot which had prob was not even replaced So i get it replaced in front.After bringing handset home using half an hour it display gone.Then i went back and give them.Since 2 month they never called me about handset though there service centre shifte two times in the meanwhile so i cudn't get handset even on going.When i finally found new location and asked for handset they were unable to deliver and told me it is repaired but hasnt come from factory.I am fed up with there attitude and tired of going again and again and not getting my handset repaired even after paying huge amount of 1564 Rs

            I have a bought a sony vaio laptop with esata port, which doesn't work and and submitted my laptop on the third day for repair but still after one month they are unable to repair it. and they are not replaceing my laptop either, so what should i do should i file a case against them in consumer court.

              I have a very sad experience in after sals experience with Sony.
              I bought a Sony Bravia 32inch television on 13th March 2010.

              To my surprise the same does not work on the Inverter and for the same a complaint ticket# 5182097 was
              opened. I was informed that an IC will be changed and the set would work on the inverter as well.

              I requested them to send a technician on weekends as I am not available in the wekdays due to my work.

              I got a call from the Sony Centre, Ghaziabad that a person would be visiting me over the weekend and a gentleman walked in on Tuesday afternoon and took away a requisition slip for an IC and said the complained would be attended in 2-3 days time.

              On 24th April 2010, I get a cal from Sony Centre, Ghaziabad and the caller says that we will visit you on Sunday 25th April 2010.I requested him if the job can be closed on 24th April 2010 it will be a great support, it was turned down.

              Now on Sunday 25th April 2010, when I called up SOny Call centre i was informed that we have got your request only yesterday 24th April 2010 with Complaint #5211899.To best of my knowledge I never called and lodged any complaint on 24th April 2010.I was given a contact # of Mr Subhash[protected], however there is no response on the same.

              I regret to share that a Nice product from Sony is getting affected due to poor after sales services.

              It will be a great support if someone can look into the same and help me get the same fixed

Be assured Sony believes in providing best services to their customers. This case looks like a delay from the shopfront. Sony Center (Sony Dealer) has registered complaint in Sony India on 24th April. We will internally take required actions for the same.

              My Name is Sarath.I bought KLV-26EX300 from SOny showroom in Outer ring road, bangalore. This happend on 3rd April 2010. I chose Sony because of brand name and I paid extra just for the brand though LG/SAMSUNG selling it for lesser price.To my surprise, TV stopped working on 25th April(Not even one month after purchase) and I was happy to see customer care responded polity over the phone. Since that day, I have been waiting for my TV and it is almost a month and still not repaired. This is very much irritating. Every time I call, I am getting different answers. I do not see any professionalism.

              First I was told, Board issue and they took almost a week to get board and then once board has arived, I was told, it is panel issue. Then again after a weeks time, they took my TV and (provided a Low end TV as standby). Since then initially they said, LCD panel is coming, on the way, courier is late, coming by road and 3 days back started saying I will get a replacement TV and Just now I called, they said Panel is in Delhi.

              This is totally ridiculous. So many flaws in your department.
              1) I never got a call back from Service center about the status or delay. I expect a call from your people if TV won;t be ready on the mentioned date. I need to call them as if I am a beggar and listen to all excuses.
              2) I see lot of lies. First they said, mother board, then they said LCD panel. later they said shipment is coming by courier, after they said replacement will be given and all ready approved in Singapore and now, they say panel is in Delhi, it will come tomorrow and bull . It looks like customers are treated like piece of and looks like preassumtion is customer can be given any speech.
              3) One month is the time your guys take to repair an in house brand? Oh my God! This is unbelievable. I never expected Sony is so poor in customer support.
              4) Worst part is, I lost trust on this brand. I stright away told my colleagues never go for Sony. it is not worth going through all these hassles. I clearly understand this TV is buggy.God knows how many more bugs are there in this TV.
              5) My complete Summer vacation is screwedup now. I thogught I can work from home connecting to TV and also play games with kids. Nothing workedout and most worstthing is when I conveyed the message I got from Service center, they could understand I was fooled by looking at difference responses.

              This is the most worst experience I ever had with any service and I promise I will never go for Sony again.

              My idea of this message is to let you know the pain that I am going through just because I bought your product.

              At least, now-on-wards, seriously look into customer issues and inform them time-to-time.

                  I own a sony ericsson W950i the touch panel of the handset siezed
                  working third time after replaced it from the authorised service
                  center .I approached the SYNERGY SERVICES-A DIVISION OF PROMPT

                    I would like to draw your attention to your letter dated 02.12.2009 received against our letter dated 25.11.09 informing you of manufacturing fault in your product Sony LCD TV-KLV- 40V200A, Sr.No.-6201801.

                    You will be surprised and shocked to note that all of a sudden your service dealer informed us last week that the T.V. is again working without any repairs and he has already sent the T.V. to us and it is working perfectly in order. For the last one month, your service centre had informed again and again that LCD Panel was defective and they insisted that they have cross checked the defect several times and they were sure of the defect – LCD Panel to be changed. Now how all of a sudden, the defective LCD Panel has starting working again is a mystery that needs to be solved.

                    The undersigned also spoke to your Mr.Dalveer Singh of your Lucknow Office and he also insisted that the defect has been checked thrice and he was very sure of the same.

                    We informed Mr.Singh of all the symptoms that had occurred over the last few months and I also informed him of my apprehension that the LCD Panel was O.K. and that the power supply may be defective and he insisted on his version.

                    Now it appears that our apprehension was correct and without any defect, you were asking us to spend Rs.40,000/- on repairs. It also confirms our feeling that your authorized service centre’s are taking the Sony Customers for a ride.As a Sony Customer, I feel badly cheated by this episode and my faith in Sony Products has been badly shaken.

                    I am sure that good sense will prevail upon your management to correct this problem within your service net work.

                    have purchased a new Sony Bravia KLV-32BX300 LCD TV in FEB 20. 2010. Last week the LCD TV got switched off automatically and the display went bad. Its a new TV and not even a month old.

                    We had registered a complaint at the customer care centre[protected] on the 27th of AUG 2010 vide complaint number 5801079. SECOND COMPLAIN NO IS 5863684
                    I M INFORMA BY E MAIL COMPLAIN NO 5911157. They assured us the call will be attended in 2 working days and inspite of we calling them they have only given us false assurances but no one has come to attend the same.

                    Being a company of such a repute their service was considered to be one of the best but nave never come across such horrible after sales service.

                    I had also registered a complaint thru their web-site and a lady from Delhi had called up but she was not in a position to answer any queries and gave a reason that she is from the call centre and will forward the call to the concern department.

                    If the complaint reaches the right person then would like them to please look into the same.

                      Sony Ericsson Model No C510 — Replacement of Faulty Mobile

                      Dear sir,

                      This is to bring to your kind attention that the purchase of a Mobile Handset Model No C510 (IMEI No [protected]) from your esteemed organisation has not only caused me tremendous agony but has also caused me to lose a number of productive working hours of mine running from pillar to post from the dealer to the service center on number of occasions.

                      The above mobile had been purchased by myself on 28/04/2009 from Essar Telecom Retail Ltd. Dalhousie Kolkata. From day one itself the mobile was not functioning properly. Most of the time the set would be very slow & would hang up occasionally. Upon approaching the dealer he would fiddle with the handset for some time & hand it over to me saying that some times most of the Soney Errecson handsets usually get hanged but there is nothing to worry the same is now in proper working order.

                      However to my utmost dismay on 8/06/2009 the key pad started to malfunction followed by the mobile getting switched off automatically. Following which the mobile store directed me to your service center at RT Outsourcing Services Ltd. 2, Ripon St, Kolkata 700016. The handset was given for service on 10/06/2009 & after several follow-ups the same was handed back to me on 16/06/2009 after repairs.

                      However my joy on receiving my Mobile back after repairs was short lived. As the same again started giving problems from the 17th of June 2009. As a matter of fact this time the problems were even worse as now not only was the set very slow & was hanging up occasionally but the mobile was now switching OFF & ON of its own free will.

                      At this juncture being thoroughly dissatisfied with the Product & service I had once again approached your service center on the 18th Of June 2009 & had requested for a prompt service resolution or a replacement of the Mobile. The Mobile was re-recieved with the same complaint ID: SEO[protected].
                      AFTER SEVERAL FOLLOWUPS FROM MY END on the 23rd of June 2009 I was told that the Mobile would be replaced & I would get a fresh Hand Set of the same model having a fresh IMEI No.

                      However, when the same would be given to me was not told. As a matter of fact I have been told to keep in constant contact over phone on the following No's 91-[protected]/77891 unfortunately whenever the numbers are called the number is most of the time engaged & when you get lackey the operator receives the call & transfers the line to another number which continues to ring without any one receiving the calls the total ordeal is not only causing me tremendous mental agony& Loss of productive working hours but also a lot of money is being wasted by me everyday. This kind of an unprofessional & highhandedness is for the first time been experienced by myself.

                      In view of the above & as a thoroughly dissatisfied customer I humbly request you to refund the amount of Rs.11269/= Paid by me towards purchase of the mobile. Alternatively, you may issue a credit note for the similar amount enabling me to redeem the same against any mobile hand set of my choice.

                      Request your positive response within the next two working days. Failing which, I would be forced to take further legal action from my end.

                        My name is Manjeet Punekar.I am from Ichalkaranji (District- Kolhapur) .Currently studying M.Tech(CAD/CAM/Automation) at VJTI, Matunga, Mumbai I want to inform you about some serious issues I dealt in past with sony india and I am still dealing with them.



                        I purchased VAIO CS17G on[protected] from Bellad & Company ,SONY EXCLUSIVE Showroom, Ashray Empire, RPD Cross, Belgaum, Karnataka. Person In charge : Deepak Sulakhe.



                        On 9-3-2009 I extended my VAIO CS17G's warranty by paying Rs. 5000/-. Mr. Deepak said that I will get the certificate in few days. Next few months I kept on inquiring about EXTENDED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE, but he kept on assuring verbally that I will get soon. But I didn’t received.



                        Since march end 2009 laptop started showing some minor problems and in july 2009 problem became serious and it was not at all booting up. So I submitted laptop to Bellad & Company ,SONY EXCLUSIVE Showroom, Belgaum. That time he said that SONY INDIA stopped giving EXTENDED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE . That time I argued with him a lot. After lots of arguments he gave me a reference number 03683 , and asked to quote this code to get benefit of extended warranty.



                        It took 1 month long to get my laptop . (He had assured to give it back to me in 1 week). Due to long period, I suffered a lot. It was great deal of inconvenience. He assured me that if same problem repeats I will get a replacement as it was hardware manufacturing fault. He didn’t give me any job card for this service.



                        Again I started facing same problem in Nov end 2009, that time I was in mumbai and was busy in project work so couldn’t go to Belgaum. But as I had extended the warranty so I was relax. When I came back from mumbai ,I submitted laptop to Bellad & Company ,SONY EXCLUSIVE Showroom, Belgaum on[protected]. I asked him for the replacement . I was surprised and shocked at his reply. He said :- First 1 year was GUARANTEE and Extended 2 years is just Warranty in which I wont get any replacement. If I would had come earlier within 1 year period he was ready to give me replacement…..



                        Now that’s ridiculous, you tell me in today's scenario which company uses term "GUARANTEE" ???



                        Second time I received laptop on[protected]. This time I insisted on job card or service report . He said he didn’t had it with him that time and will courier in 2 days. When I contacted him after 2 days, he said he wont be able to give me job card/ service report and asked me to personally collect it with some service center. From his accent it was clear that he was ignoring me. You tell me why customers should run here and there to get job card/ service report. I even don’t know where is that service center.





                        Also since this second service performance of laptop has degraded considerably. I reported this thing also to him, but he doesn’t seem to be concerned at all. It has become very unstable. I recovered it 2 times since[protected], but no change in performance.



                        I am a final year student and my project is due in a months time. I don’t have any other issues regarding product quality or overall sony products. I have even convinced two of my colleagues to go for Sony Vaio laptop which they have brought from their local dealers. But this kind of salesmanship & careless attitude on the part of the executive from Bellad & company is pulling me back from buying another vaio laptop(VPC EB 16FG) for my brother.



                        No what I request you to do is:

                        1. Provide me the EXTENDED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE from company.
                        2. Provide me some permanent solution to problems that I am facing from 4th month of the purchase.


                        I sent this mail to customer care of sony india. Contacted them number of times, they kept telling that they are looking after it. But there was no reply from their side even after 5 weeks. This shameful for brand like sony.



                        I request you humbly & with great hope to please kindly look into the matter & do the needful.

                        Sony VAIO — FAULTY PRODUCT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE

                        I HAVE PURCHASED A SONY VAIO ON DATED 20.02.2008 FROM SURIYA KIRAN ELECTRONICS ( NEAR BHERA ENCLAVE, PASCHIM VIHAR, DELHI ), AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, DUE TO NON AVIALABILITY OF ENGINEER THE OWNER HAS GIVEN ME THE NOTEBOOK WITHOUT PROPER INITIALIZATION AND SAID THAT HE WILL SEND THE ENGINEER AT MY RESIDENCE AND GET IT INITIALIZED PROPERLY. BUT WHEN I OPEN MY NOTE BOOK AT MY RESIDENCE IT WAS FAULTY ( A ONE INCH BLACK SCREEN COMING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF NOTEBOOK, VERY SLOW, NETWORKING IS NOT WORKING ), I CAME TO THE DEALER ON THE NEXT DAY AND AFTER SEEING IT, HE ADVISED ME TO GO DIRECTLY TO MATHURA OFFICE AND GET IT REPLACED AND REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK.
                        THEN AFTER I TALK TO SONY CUSTOME CARE BUT OF NO AVAIL, I THEN DEPOSITED MY NOTEBOOK TO KARMPURA SERVICE CENTRE ON 09.03.2008, AND WHEN I TAKE BACK IT TO MY HOME IT WAS AGAIN SHOWING THE SAME PROBLEM.

                        ONE MONTH HAVE PASSED I AM GOING FROM POST TO PILLAR, ALL THE EXCITEMENT O[censored]SING NOTEBOO HAS TURNED IN TO FURSTRATION .

                        DO SOME THING THAT I MAY FORGET ALL MY HARDSHIP THAT I HAVE FACED DURING THE PERIOD.
                        FOR YOUR INFORMATION I HAVE SONY ( T.V, HANDY CAM, MOBILE, MUSIC SYSTEM, WALKMAN ).

                        I have purchased sony vaio FE series August '07 from USA, the equal to symbol goes on printing without pressing a single key. it also have some problem with the touch pad. This defect makes me irritate while chatting, typing my business documents.

                        I have no idea how to rectify this problem. I ahve been using Sony products and always thought its the best in the rest, but i am not at all happy with the vaio. its costed me a big amount but fails to come up. In short i am not happy.

                        Please let me know what can i do with this notebook and how can i rectify the problem. I stay in Mumbai, India

                          I have to advise that I have purchased one Sony Digital Still Camera No. DCMS016 for Rs.8,8/00/- on 30 Sept 2009 from M/s.                             I have purchased my mobile on date 30/8/2009 after a month i my mobile had display problem and on December 7,2009 I gave the mobile for service in your service centre Accel Frontline Services for display problem, they gve me one weeks time but returned my mobile on December 28,2009 Work Order No SE309AGR18698, they told me that it was some display problem and they have changed the display, then again i had the same problem and again I gave my mobile for service on 26 Febraury 2010 they gave me the mobile back on 10 March 2010, whwn asked about the problem they informed that there is some display problem and it has been done again I had the same problem and I went and asked them what the hell they are doing with the mobile and told them to replace the mobile they told me nothing can be done now again I have the problem in display the display is blank. I would like to ask you how many times I have to give my mobile for service to you for the same problem right from the date of purchase I am having the same problem I bought the mobile only for using and not for giving it to service and it is your duty that once the mobile is given for service the fault should be attended perfectly but this is not done. So,Kindly take necessary action and inform your service centre to replace my mobile,Mobile bill copy and service centre bill copies attached with the mail.

                            I have been enduring this problem since I purchased it(in 14000 Rs). I bought the cell on 25th Dec '08. The first problem occurred in Aug '09 . I submitted it at the service center on 22/08/09. There they told the problem is due to liquid damage, which was hard to believe for me. Because nobody else but I touch my cell and I was using it very carefully. Still I ignored it and gave to them to fix it without guarantee claim, as they put forth some useless reasons like sweat might gone into the cell resulting the damage ..etc... etc, which was very irritating, I swear and I was charged for 1600 Rs. I got it after a month i.e on 24th Sept and that night itself I again got problem. I tried calling them up the next day. But it was closed for some days because of Durga puja. Then again I went to the service center, but on that day even it was closed. Finally I submitted it on 10th Oct and told them to fix them properly and quickly. They told that it 'll cost me 2600 Rs, to which I agreed but again reminded them to make it fix as early as possible. The greatest thing was I got my cell on 8th Jan 2010 after three months. When I was calling them about the status one single reply I was getting ... "Sir, it's pending for parts" and after delving further into this I found out that actually I heard that the production of this phone has stopped or slowed down as well as for the parts.Don't know how true is the previous line but can you believe it? It took 139 days(22nd Aug '09 - 08 Jan '10) and 4200Rs(30% of original cost) to fix a cell properly and that too it lasted for 4 months. Now on 30th May '10 I again got the display problem. I am frustrated with this brand and especially with it's post purchase service. One thing I know for sure that I am always going to advice my friends, relatives, coworkers and other acquaintances not to purchase Sony Ericsson.

                              This is Dr. S R Kannan, Associate Professor, Gandhigram Rural Central University, Gandhigram, Dindigul District.
                              Sir, on[protected] I have purchased a cell phone (IMEI No.[protected] MODEL N0. F305) from Saravana Store for Rs. 5990.
                              On 8/4/2010 the phone displayed only white. Since I have some urgent contacts with some professors at other Universities, I have gone to nearby shop with research scholar Mr. R. Pandiyarajan, but the shopkeeper told with me that this cell need original strip and still it has warranty, so you contact authorized sony ericsson service center at Dindigul which is located 15 Kms away from University.
                              I have gone immediately to Service center of sony ericsson, Dindigul, and I explained all the matters including the shop keeper who I met. Then the service people told with me that they want to check the cell phone with computer for initial screening for viewing the genuine things of the cell, I said OK. They taken my cellphone inside and checked clearly all before they take it for service, and then the service people asked me to pay Rs. 300 for strip (only) not for service. I said Ok and I have handed over my cell with service people and I have received work order acceptance sheet from them(Scanned copy enclosed).
                              They asked me to come in the next day to collect the cell, but I refused and I asked the cell immediately, but they said after change the strip they wanted to keep at least for one day with them, then I said OK.
                              Then I went to the shop in the next day, they said the strip is not coming from service center, so you come on after two days.
                              So I went to the service center an after two days, they asked me to wait for 10 minutes, I also waited, then they come with me and asked me to collect the cell in the next day, I asked them, why?, they said no problem your cell is ok, but here power problem, so come tomorrow and collect it like that, then I said ok and I left from the place.
                              I went to the shop again in the next day, then the service man asked me to wait for 10 minutes, I said ok, and I was waiting, the service man just opened my cell and acting in front of me as fitting something on cell.
                              I was waiting and waiting for long, then I asked him is any problem in my cell, he said no problem. Then I told him I have some urgent work so I come after and collect the cell like that. Then I went to there after one hour, but they closed the shop even before 6.45PM and they left.
                              Then I went to the service center on 17/4/2010, they returned my cell phone with worst condition(some visible parts have been replaced by duplicate parts) and asked me to take and go.
                              I said, see you have given computerized work order with me, and you agreed to rectify the problem in cellphone after all the checking over, but all of sudden you are telling me to take the cell with worst condition. Further I told them some visible parts(top corner buttons) are changed in cell phone, so something is wrong. Then I asked the superior contact numbers with them to explain my problem, but they told with me that they are the superior for sony ericsson, and they forced me to take the cell phone and leave the place.
                              Sir, I have purchased the cell for Rs. 5990, see I am working as Professor, my salary is around Rs. 45000, so I no need to do anything on it. But your service people have irritated me and I am worrying lot about your service people.
                              Sir, I have enclosed the all the documents, please note on work order and you come to know about the cost of fault is around Rs. 300, but now the service people are playing lot with me, not only with me they are doing the same with all the customers.
                              Sir please I request you to rectify my problem in cell phone, I hope that I will have good solution from you soon.
                              And I wanted to tell this that till I have not collected the damaged cell by your service people.

                                Sony Ericsson G502 — spoiling of the phone colour

                                i have purchased g502 mobile on last month 19th at universalcell at ammerpet in hyderabad.the piece is very nice.but the silver caoating on the buttons is gone very early .not even a single month.but universalcell offered us replacement of phone for any damage or theft during the purchase, but now he is saying no warranty for colour.with this the quality of the piece wil be reduced in the market.so i kindly advice you to take the complaint and offer me the replacement of the g502(premium black).

                                my mobile g502 lost its colour coating... but in service center there is no care for it... now its ugly to use the mobile... so try to vanish this problem by provinding recoating process in service centre...

                                  sir during warranty period service centre Executive at ambedkar road for thrice time i gone there for same defect in mobile but they were not able to repair my cell .It works for only 2 or 3 weeks & the same defect occurs .if they cnat solve the problem than how could it can be repair after non warranty period .I think that ur mobiles are defected or u sale defected mobiles Please solve my query as soon as possible .My mobile is K220i.

                                    sir with very sad mood i am complaining about the service of my mobile K220i was not satisfied.For three time i shown my mobile for thrice time for same defect.but the repair it and whenever i used it for 15/20 days the same defect occur,Service centre executive cant satisfied me i have given last time on 25/3/2010 but on 12/4/2010 the same defect was there with my mobile .now the warrant is alo over on 4/4/2010.so what to do i[censored] are not able to repair the mobile during warranty period than how can u do this on without garranty period.

                                      I bought LCD TV - 40 inch (Model No KLV-40V400A) V Series from Dayal Infotainment (Sony World),Shipra Mall, Inirapuram, Ghaziabad on 7th Oct 2008, around 18 months back.

                                      Suddenly, we noticed VERTICAL LINES across th screen, then we complaint to Sony Customer Care.Their executive visited and said, our LCD panel is defective, It has to be changed, and send the quotation of amount Rs 22170.00.

                                      We bought LCD TV of Sony considering the fact that we are buying product from a reputed company, and it will work without any issue. But we feel that we have bought cheap chinese product that has broken down in just one and half year. I spent Rs 76000 to buy this TV, and again Rs 22,000 for its repair,means TV total cost for me is Rs 1 lakh.

                                      When other companies like Panasonic is giving warrantee of 3 yrs of their panel, and Sony is giving just 1 year warranty, means, Sony is not confident on the quality of their product. Now...I regreat on my decision of buying LCD TV from Sony.

                                      I would like to request from Sony through Consumer Complaints that please resolve the defect of LCD TV without any cost. Why should I pay Rs 22000 for just 18 months old TV.

                                      Quotation is given by Sony Authorized Service Centre (Jay Pee Electronics) C-54, Sector-2, Noida.

                                      I will appreciate any help from Sony or Consumer Complaint.

                                      This is a fairly genuine complaint - my 42-inch Sony LCD isn't even 6 months old, and has been hanging on the wall for a week due to a screwed up power supply circuit. Customer Care Centers of Sony suck - they just give you the contact details of the local service agent, which is usually some cheap [censored]job like Jaypee electronics.

                                      Shame on you Sony.
