I am Mayur Muthe, using Sony Ericsson handset. On 6th march 08 I purchased K550i and using that regularly. On 11th of Aug 08 I faced one problem in that handset (K550i), was showing insert sim continuously so I took it to one dealer as your service stations timing are not comfortable (Sat- Sun Off, Other days- 10am to 6.0pm.) any professional or person doing private service can not reach your service station Unless otherwise he would have taken leave for such reasons.

Dealer helped me in this regard and submitted that handset to service station on 12th Aug 08 and communicated Job Sheet no to me. After 5 to 6 days I followed up with your service station (Salora International- Bibvewadi, And Tilak road branch). As a good support executive she told me that I will get handset after 2 to 3 WORKING DAYS and confirmed that Handset is suffering from Hardware problem and hardware will reach Pune within next 2 days. So after 15 days also I have not received any feedback or any communication from your service station. After every two days, only I am calling and getting fake or inconvincible reasons from so called your service station. I contacted Pune manager of Salora International (Mr. Raju- [protected]) but gentleman requested me to wait for 2 – 3 hrs. And assured that he will call me after investigation of the matter. But as he was very busy so next day I called him as he failed to communicate with me. Nothing helped me out.
So I searched online for help. I contacted your customer service on 3rd of Sept08. & logged complaint with no SE 7732493. The executive asked me to wait for 48 working hrs and assured me that he will get back to me within that time. But he also failed to fulfill commitment. So again I contacted after 3 days. Repeatedly with same story I am suffering. Once again I called & Mr. Muneed attained me on your helpline. And registered new complaint with SE 4318662. He also assured me that he will let me know about the handset within 24 hrs. Now as per Sony ericssons strategy at that time also I have not received any call from him. So after a day I called up and Mr. Vivek attained me and he also committed same thing. But no help I received from helpline.

May I get help from you.

Sony Ericsson — Worst Service provider

sir iam purchase in k550i mobile phone pur date 06.06.2008 in univercell tiruvarur tamil nadu. my mobile is problem in 05.02.2009, iam serveris in 05.02.2009 unvercell service reports no:9106/05.02.09. on one month before in NO SERVICE. is very poor service in sony.IMEI NO [protected]
its been 1 month i hav submitted my set at RT international service center at sec-18 CHANDIGARH, AND hav not recived any response from them...

Sony Ericsson — no any feed back fromyour service station

they are give reply next day about esstiment of repair but after four days passed he is not giving any reply they are never lift above phone and give answer it is 15 km far away from home.so we can not reached plese give any proposal to solve my problem you have obey service rules of nokia it's service are best in sector

    respected sir,
    i Mr.jayraj A Dulange having Sony Erison Model No.s500i had given my handset for repair defect in handset on 19/8/2008, but till date i am not given prorer answer as to what is the problem .i am repeatedly making calls daily, i am only told yet the handset is not done proper.
    its my earnest request pls solve my problem or else i have to take legal action against the same

      THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT.THIS IS ONLY TO REQUEST YOU THAT I HAVE A SONY HANDYCAM (MODEL NO. DCR HC-42E) FROM MARCH 2005.BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THE LCD GOT DAMAGED WHICH I HAVE GIVEN TO A SONY SERVICE CENTRE, (AT 32 HAZRA ROAD, KOLKATA700029) FOR REPAIRS.SINCE THE GUARANTEE PERIOD WAS FOR THREE YEARS AND I HAVE NOT TAKEN THE FACILITY IN THAT TIME, SO I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER I CAN OPT FOR THE GUARANTEE FACILITY NOW.THEREBY I REQUEST YOU TO WAVE THE SERVICE CHARGES OF THE CURRENT REPAIRS.       dcr-hc42e — servicing

      I have a handicam of DCR-HC42E model, was having a single complain of no picture in LCD

      as it was repaired in ur puna service center, on 09.01.2008,

      the complain given was solved through job no. 10429755.as they replaced FP185 Strip, ,

      but new complain which were not there initially came into my handicam, i complained it through letter to your pune service center and to your delhi office, in the month of feb 08

      they called me and said to bring the piece back for checking,

      we manage to come to your service center on 10.03.08, and saw the behavior of your person there was very rude and firstly they denied to accept our complaint letter they said to keep the handicam and ask us to come one day after as they the need to cheek our handicam,

      one day after when we came there, ur service engineer gave us the estimate of 7000/- for the repair of handicam,

      we were shocked as the complained raised because of your mistake, and even though u are charging us, pls tell us why we should pay you, as complain rise because of your negligence,

      that day i got very disturb as ur service engineer was very rud behaving with us and roughly talking with us,

      this will be my last complain to you as further if my problem is not solved, i ill be forced to take legal action against sony India pvt ltd..

        Hello,
        For last one month, I am suffering from WORST quality of Sony service centre and the callousness & robot type attitude of their call centre ladies..This has all forced me to present my case through this email communication so that appropriate authority could take action on it…if not, I would explore other third party options….Otherwise I am still hopeful Sony service management team is sensitive enough to take action based on it..

        The long story but cut short here begins from 26 July’2008…

        I purchased a Sony music system (Model no. MHC-GNZ333D) from Dayal Infotainment [Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad] on July 26’ 2008….I choose Sony over other thinking its product quality might be of superior quality and at least professional service quality….
        Within few days of installations, the FM subsystem started giving problems….Randomly it worked fully or didn’t work at all….Surprised at the problem at that very early stage, I did what a normal customer expected to do…Register a complaint at the call centre [req. no. 3145705 dt. 04/08/2008]…Mind you, before that I had followed with the dealer to try to resolve it…
        So, as expected the technician came and did numerous times ON/OFF of power switch..and it started working….As the problem was having random nature, I thought it started working though logically I was not convinced with him…He didn’t bother check the system either…

        As I was expecting, the problem started coming again…This time I made another request again [3181272 dt 16/08/2008]….The technician came on 20/08/2008 and said there is problem with FM tuner and it would take 3-4 days of time to parts come….I was fine..at least the problem was diagnosed [hopeful]…

        Now, the real problem started…

        When I made enquiry about the status of my request at call centre [Sony] around 25-26 Aug, the lady said that the parts didn’t come yet…I said how long it will take as I was informed it would take 3-4 days…She said that for single part it might take time as all parts are imported from outside India and probably they would wait till more parts order come to fit in a lot….This was totally unprofessional…Then I requested service manager contact number…She refused to give…..I couldn’t get the answer why?...Is there no way to escalate further from these robot like call centre professional?...

        Then I made some personal and background effort to get contact number of one Mr. Naveen (Sony service deptt employee)….So, made a call to him on Aug 28’2008…He said your parts has not yet arrived but there is another same part…He would get done tomorrow…

        The technician came after a long waiting (initially the time was fixed at 11:00 AM) at around 4:00 PM on Aug 29’2008 with the NEW part….At least, I am bit happy that now I could enjoy my new system fully which I couldn’t do yet right FRM DAY 1…. But that was not the destiny….The technician discovered that the part was not compatible with the system….Any sensitive person could imagine how would I feel cheated and frustrated with the worst quality of service with so much wastage of my individual productive time waiting for the technician whole day, and calling up all kind of service people to get my problem resolved…..Anyhow, the service centre technician went again to collect another part from dealer….He came with another NEW part and fitted it….Alas!! it didn’t work….The technician also said he couldn’t do anything more though he tried very hard…

        Now, the every kind of problem-request-resolution cycle has passed with no conclusion except that the part is inherently defective and needs a replacement….I wouldn’t favor any kind of offsite R&D request on the system considering the fact that the system is barley one month old and the problem was coming right from DAY ONE…..So, I request to do necessary action to get the replacement done….

        sony's product are the world's no 1 worst brand
        in manufacturing cameras & televisions
        i must say a big noooooooo to sony's product

        in addition they guys dont know how to repair the products everytime i have to bring my camera ie 4times in a month
        worst service centres in delhi specialy the one located at rajouri garden.

He tried to upgrade the software. Then he said - upgrade failed, may be problem with the hardware and its board and advised me to take the mobile to Chennai.           Since this mobile is very much useful to me in my job and my business, and is like my family member. So I rushed to Chennai and gave the mobile to Salora international ltd, New No.8 & old no.34, Jambulingam street, Nungambakkam, Chennai – 600 034. Phone –[protected], Website – www.salora.com, on 12th August 2008. They Given Compliant ID - SES08CHE16091, service tag number 16091, Reference
          Reference Order Number - SES08CHE16091, Dated –[protected].
          Salora, Chennai, Technical Experts said that software upgrading not successful, may have problem with the display or board and given me time for a week. I handedover my mobile to them and returned to my residence with lot of pain. I don’t have any other mobile. The battery is also kept idle without charging for the past 15 days. After that I contacted Salora International, Chennai and almost every day. Whenever I call, they used to say, work is going on, we will inform. Sometimes they are saying there is no stock of display and the service person is threatening me to give back of faulty mobile.
          Nearly Rs.3000 I spent in this connection so far for telephone charges and travel etc., and I am totally disappointed.

          Sir, since 15 days past, I am in dark, what happened to my mobile? When will I get it repaired?

          May I at the outside request you to look into the complaint conveyed through this letter and take necessary at the earliest?
          I trust that you will enquire into the matter and take any action that you consider necessary and fitting.

          Please try to help me to get repaired or replace with new mobile as early as possible.

            I had purchase Sony Ericsson phone model no. W5801 dated July 4, 2008 from Orange Tele Services, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi 24. After one month it started giving me problem - low battery back up, buttons not working properly, not able to receive calls and text messsage not appearing properly on the screen. When i went to the shop from where i bought it the person was extremely rude he told me to go to the service station directly and get the phone repaired. When i asked him to give me a second hand phone as my work is phone based he refused to give me. Secondly when i went to the authorised services centre "Technocare, E - 17, Lajpat Nagar II, after much fighting they gave me the nos. of the manager Mr. Anubhav who didnt took my call and then i had to lodge the complaint at the cust0mer services. If this is the type of service Sony Ericsson provides i will tell people not to buy that phone. I am still awaiting a reply from there side.
            sir i was submit sonyericsson K-970i model on 17 june 2009 but sir till day my set is completed so this is very careless working, if sir my mobile is not completed within 2 days i will compline in consumer cort.because this is long time .

              i have baught sony erickson mobile 2 years ago
              m 600 i
              it has now problem of automatic swirch off and restart when i go to service senter they say to me that its display is not in good condition so u need to change it then i change it but after change it service senter man say to me that i[censored] take a bill then u dont have any warrnty or gurantee but i[censored] dont want to take a bill then u may got it still 10 days so dont offer to him to give me bill
              so after 15 days same problem have come agin so i go to service center they refuse me to do anything then when i go to loca mobile repairer they tell me that its display is old noy new so i face cheat at there
              now i cant to anythinggggggggggggg

                  My name is Dr.Vikash Kumar Bhojasiya.I had given my camera for servicing for a flash problem in my cybershot DSCW50 on 18/08/2008.The log information no is[protected].BUt after getting a telephone call( on 19/08/2008) regarding the charges to repair it which was about 2220/-, i refused to work it out and asked them to return to me.I got the reply that i shall take back my camera next day as they have to send it to the service center.But even after 13 days passed out i.e.today 01/09/2008, i could not get back my camera.The person in service center told me sory for it and will try to get it in his office next day!i was shocked at this type of sony services. i am a doctor, the place of service center is 20 kms from my residence and i am not getting my product.
                  Also you( service center people) are not ready to send it my my residence.
                  I felt myself victimised by sony.All the way i have to spent my precious time and money to get back my own thing twice all because of your falut.Ihave a doubt whether my camera is in correct condition or someother damage sony people would have done during this period;hence not sent to the service center????
                  I want to lodge this complain and get the compensation and action against this irregualrity

                    purchased a Sony ericsson C-902 mobile handset from your authorised dealer SALE POINT, Shubam Mkt Complex Ram Mandir Square, Bhubaneswar on 03/08/08 with invoice no - 897. but after 3 days i faced problem of over heating and the camera lens cover light not getting off after closing the lens cover. that light was on even when i switched off the phone.

                    As I was not in bhubaneswar for 1 month and in joda where there was no service point for sony ericcson.so I reported the problem to your bapuji nagar service center on 04/09/08 but they refused to provide me service citing various reasons. then on next day I came to sahid nagar service center but they also didnot accept my cell for whats so ever reason. but the engineer at the service center asked me to write a mail to you for action .

                    AsI faced the problem with in 7 days from my purchase and your service center guys did not respond me I want my pack to be replaced. Please arrange to replace my phone as soon as possible as I am facing lot of problems for this.

                          I had purchased a sony Ericsson mobile whose model is W350i on 01-July-2008. This is new model of sony ericsson mobile.
                          I am facing a lot of problem as it's quality is very bad.
                          I don't know why sony Ericsson had not tested it properly before throwing it in market.
                          My mobile (Sony Ericsson W350i) has stopped loudspeakers from playing the sound and ring tones. I could not hear if someone calls on my number. This defect come in only 2 months from date of purchasing. I am suffering with this problem. If i have paid for some good product then why i am facing this problem withing 2 months of purchasing it.
                          This is a serious complaint about Sony Ericsson mobile W350i.

                          I am using sony ericsson 350i since 3 months. I purchased it from The mobile store. After 2 months it shows only light while switching on again and again, I bring it to the mobile store, they said to me go to sony ericsson authorized service center. They repair it and they said the problem is of installed software. I was surprised to listen that thing. Sony ericsson is a good established company. I do not suppose it so. The sound of this mobile is very low also. Can they replace this mobile. Please take a action.

                            My cellphone of model Z530i, make 06w23, IMEI No [protected] is under repair from july 10th, 2008 at 2, Ripon Street, Kolkata 700016, India. Since then, whenever I am going to ask the status of my phone, customer service representatives are kepping on taking time from 15 days to 1 month, 1 month to 1 and half month and so on. Now they are advising me to buy a new phone. It was liquid damage and in anticipation of repair as because they estimated the repairing cost of Rs 4000/- which I agree to pay, I waited 2 months already. It is not expected from such a good and reputed company like SONY ERICSSON as well as equally pathetic to think a mother board or chip (whichever needed to run the phone) could not be prepared by your technically sound team in this CERN-LHC era ?

                              For the last 20 years I am a SONY brand addict for electronics items. I have a 20 years TV, a walkman, a CD player etc., etc,
                              Yesterday I thought of going for an up-graded & affordable TV and brought one KV HG 21 M 80C model TV from PITTAPPILLIL AGENCY; Perumbavoor (Ernakulam Dist, Kerala) vides their invoice No.4844/dt 10th Sept. I bought the TV around 6.p.m brought home, 12KM away from the agency, and was distressed to find that it has a defective power switch. Considerable time was wasted checking the power lines to call the dealer etc., with no avail. One of the Tele-number provided by the dealer in his card turned out to be of some a hearing impaired woman and consequences that followed needs no elaboration. Today I called your office and I was told to cart back the TV to the dealer. This I did and got a replacement as the earlier one was inherently defective. The dealer paid for the Taxi as well. So far so good!
                              In the process I & my son had to avail half a day’s leave today from our respective offices with attended botheration of repacking the TV and ensure its safe carting back to the agency. Will you compensate our earning loss, time loss, agony at the failure of the devise at home? And for the disappointment of members in the family who naively welcomed the new TV .My question is, don’t you have a system whereby somebody could call up at our place and attend the complaint rather than asking us to cart it around?
                              I knew my rights as a consumer under the law of the land and I have the necessary wherewithal to establish it through the court. I will not do that as I will never look at a SONY brand hereafter.

                              Hello,

                              I am resident of Mira road (E), dist-thane. we bought sony's 21" TV two and half years back and suddenly fifteen days back it had some problem. It completely blacked out(some display problem). Then we went to the showroom from which we bought the TV but they told as the warranty period is over so we will have to go to sony's service centre which is also in MIra road only. so we called them, the person came next day and took PCB board with him.

                              Then he did not call us at all, so we had to go to his place to do enquiry, then the head their named Mr. Girish sawant told that he will tell the problem tomorrow and also the cost for that. the he called after five days to just tell us how much it will cost that also we had to call him everyday and remind him about our TV. That is the poor service they give.

                              he told us it will cost us around 1000/-, which is really huge amount for the only two year old TV. But we agreed then he came with the board repaired and joint to TV but now there was another problem this time, the picture got expanded it was going out of screen. so we had to go with the whole TV at his workshop. its been eight days that our TV is with him. He always commits to give the TV next day and still he has not got the problem.

                              so whats the use of such service centres who cant even detect what is the problem in 15 days and just know how to charge with large amounts.

                              i kindly request that some strict action should be taken against such service centres who just know how to charge extra money but dont know how to provide good service.

                              i am rajendran, from thillaiyadi village 30 k.m from mayiladuthurai.my sony tv purchased 3 years before is dead in condition. i make complaint 40 days before at the dealer a.venkatraman, mayiladuthurai, tamilnadu.after one week they sent a service person. he took the board with him to kumbakonam for checking. on the next week he came back and fit the board and said that the board has no problem, the problem to the set is not known and asked me to bring the tv set to kumbakonam 100 k.m way from my village for checking. i contact the sony manager in kumbakonam and said that it is not able to bring this tv to kumbakonam and request him to take service in my home. he agree with me . but still now the tv is not repaired. my contact no [protected] i am very much disappointed for purchasing this tv

                                  I had bought on sony Ericsson P1i in sep07. In august 08 its Jog dialer, back key, Touchscreen stopped functioning.
                                  I took the phone to the service centre on 23rd august and phone was inspected and submitted by Service centre employee and told me to call on monday 25/08/08.

                                  I made a call and was told that touch screen is out of stock and give us a call on Wednesday. Again same story was repeated on that day as well. I have been calling service center on the days when i am asked to call but still my phone has not been repaired and still lying with them. I get the same excuse that the phone is waiting for repairing due to required part is not available.

                                  I am having a similar experience now. I bought a SE-W595 in April, hardly tried it's radio. Suddenly when i tried it in End-April, phone couldn't detect Antenna (headset), Music player is playing the sound with speakers...so embarrassing for the first time. Took the phone to service centre at Isetan. Initially they asked me to collect after two days. Later i received a call that motherborad need to be replaced and the part is not readily available with them. They promised me a period of 1-2 weeks. Now it is over 3 weeks and they are still waiting for the parts. God knows where these parts are coming from...may be Antartica. Now i can not do anything apart form waiting for them to call me.

                                  Singapore wants to become the world-class service nation...with this kind of service on offer???

                                  Anybody is having similar experience?

                                      I purchased a sony ericsson mobile (K 550i) in December 2007 from Meerut dealer (Teens Gallery Nai Sarak Meerut) & after 11 months it has got a problem like key pad is not working & the silver shading from camera went off, for this when I reached the service centre in Meerut people there directly said that these problems with handset are not covered under warranty provided by sony ericsson & they refused to repair or replace the handset. And I am not satisfied with the after sales service provided by the service center & the company, kindly do something either get my mobile repaired or get it replaced other wise I'll have to complaint further.

                                      I feel cheated by the kind of Service Sony Ericsson provides to its cellphone users.

                                      I had bought a Sony handset K 790i(MEI [protected]) on 07th Sep '08 from Subhiksha, PVR Vikaspuri, New Delhi, India at Rs. 10495.
                                      I started facing problems with this handset from December itself.
                                      It switched off suddenly on its own and wasn't switching on.
                                      I sent it for repair to the Sony Ericsson's Service Center :- Balaji Tele Services, Avtar Enclave, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi on 16th Dec '08.
                                      The complaint Id was : SEO[protected]. They changed the MEI and returned it by 20th. But it again Auto-Switched off in few hours on the same day itself.
                                      Then I again sent it for repair to the same center on 21st Dec(Complaint No. 10498).
                                      They also reformatted the Sony Memory card and the IMEI was changed again and was returned on 07th Jan '09.
                                      The new IMEI no. is [protected]. Recently they changed the battery saying that the faulty battery was the reason.

                                      But the problem still persists (Auto-Switch off if kept in idle for couple of hours).

                                      I am really pissed off with this problem. Its been over a month now and I have been to the Service Center numerous times and the problem is still not resolved.

                                      I also had logged a call at the customer care (Ref. No. SE[protected] for a replacement. But no action was taken.

                                      This has been the most pathetic experiences for me. I had been using Nokia handset for years and never faced any issues.
                                      I have bought K 550 i mobile in September 2008, now the mobile is not detecting any of the network. No service centre person is able to find out the problem. Just I would like to know, is it such a major problem ? The behaviour of the dealer was not so supportive, instead he was arogant & ignorant. I bought the mobile in Bellary, but he is suggesting me to go to Hubli. I being a professional, can't go to Hubli which is 210 KMs away from here. So, Where should I contact & How my mobile can be get repaired?

                                      i purchased sony ericsson cell phone from jaipur and model is R306, last year 31st may, 2009.I used it properly 2 months only then after it became automatically switched off.i m from mathora and there is no service centre here, so what shoul i do??my no is [protected]
                                      Its not happened only to you its still continuing with lots of people who ever had this problem and go to the service centre, in my case they have charged the minimum payment of QR/50 if repaired or not this was the minimum chare with them, and coming to the WARANTY they just repair minor problems and if its any major they return it saying its tampered my the user and there is no WARANTY for this. they just wait to chop people who come just finished one year(1YEAR) with there Mob as the Warranty is only for that much time so one they see the completed this period then the ball is with them in the court and its up to them to charge whatever the price they say and will not go much into it for repairing and easily say to change the motherboard so this will solve the entire problem of them where its already the cost of a new one .so now you can understand its nothing else then cheating and get rid of the Warranty and wash out the hands making the customer to suffer the loss and of course a profit for the service centre without bothering about the users problem which cost them so much. For the name there is customer service but this is only a Name sake but in real it’s not customer service but its a customer earners. So its very Important all the mobile users who had gone problems and suffered with their products should put all the hands to gather and go for a legal action with all the complains mention in here, that what I had to say

                                        i have purchase new k790i mobile date of 25-7.but this mobile is ded after 1 week.so my mobile put in sony services center in ANAND, KAVITA SHOPING CENTRE .and hi sayas before 15 days but today 1 month and my mobile not recived.so plese my problem solevd fast either i will complain in custemer court. and riplay fast my mobile number is [protected]

                                        Sony Ercssion K790i Mobile — Services not provided by Service centre.

                                        I am having a Sony Ericssion K790i mobile phone which is in warrenty period. I went Sony service centre(Club Electronics, South extension-II, New delhi) last week to replace its head phone which is not working. But the conserned employ told me that "We are not providing any Services, you talk to our Okhla Service centre". If you are not providing Services than kindly remove it from your site and tell me to which Service centre i will go means at which sevice centre you are providing services.
                                        when i put my sony ericsson k790i to charge it shows an serious error message
