    sir/madam,
    My name is Dr.Vikash Kumar Bhojasiya.I had given my camera for servicing for a flash problem in my cybershot DSCW50 on 18/08/2008.The log information no is[protected].BUt after getting a telephone call( on 19/08/2008) regarding the charges to repair it which was about 2220/-, i refused to work it out and asked them to return to me.I got the reply that i shall take back my camera next day as they have to send it to the service center.But even after 13 days passed out i.e.today 01/09/2008, i could not get back my camera.The person in service center told me sory for it and will try to get it in his office next day!i was shocked at this type of sony services. i am a doctor, the place of service center is 20 kms from my residence and i am not getting my product.
    Also you( service center people) are not ready to send it my my residence.
    I felt myself victimised by sony.All the way i have to spent my precious time and money to get back my own thing twice all because of your falut.Ihave a doubt whether my camera is in correct condition or someother damage sony people would have done during this period;hence not sent to the service center????
    I want to lodge this complain and get the compensation and action against this irregualrity

      purchased a Sony ericsson C-902 mobile handset from your authorised dealer SALE POINT, Shubam Mkt Complex Ram Mandir Square, Bhubaneswar on 03/08/08 with invoice no - 897. but after 3 days i faced problem of over heating and the camera lens cover light not getting off after closing the lens cover. that light was on even when i switched off the phone.

      As I was not in bhubaneswar for 1 month and in joda where there was no service point for sony ericcson.so I reported the problem to your bapuji nagar service center on 04/09/08 but they refused to provide me service citing various reasons. then on next day I came to sahid nagar service center but they also didnot accept my cell for whats so ever reason. but the engineer at the service center asked me to write a mail to you for action .

      AsI faced the problem with in 7 days from my purchase and your service center guys did not respond me I want my pack to be replaced. Please arrange to replace my phone as soon as possible as I am facing lot of problems for this.

            Hello,

            I had purchased a sony Ericsson mobile whose model is W350i on 01-July-2008. This is new model of sony ericsson mobile.
            I am facing a lot of problem as it's quality is very bad.
            I don't know why sony Ericsson had not tested it properly before throwing it in market.
            My mobile (Sony Ericsson W350i) has stopped loudspeakers from playing the sound and ring tones. I could not hear if someone calls on my number. This defect come in only 2 months from date of purchasing. I am suffering with this problem. If i have paid for some good product then why i am facing this problem withing 2 months of purchasing it.
            This is a serious complaint about Sony Ericsson mobile W350i.

            I am using sony ericsson 350i since 3 months. I purchased it from The mobile store. After 2 months it shows only light while switching on again and again, I bring it to the mobile store, they said to me go to sony ericsson authorized service center. They repair it and they said the problem is of installed software. I was surprised to listen that thing. Sony ericsson is a good established company. I do not suppose it so. The sound of this mobile is very low also. Can they replace this mobile. Please take a action.

              My cellphone of model Z530i, make 06w23, IMEI No [protected] is under repair from july 10th, 2008 at 2, Ripon Street, Kolkata 700016, India. Since then, whenever I am going to ask the status of my phone, customer service representatives are kepping on taking time from 15 days to 1 month, 1 month to 1 and half month and so on. Now they are advising me to buy a new phone. It was liquid damage and in anticipation of repair as because they estimated the repairing cost of Rs 4000/- which I agree to pay, I waited 2 months already. It is not expected from such a good and reputed company like SONY ERICSSON as well as equally pathetic to think a mother board or chip (whichever needed to run the phone) could not be prepared by your technically sound team in this CERN-LHC era ?

                Dear Ms Shraddha
                For the last 20 years I am a SONY brand addict for electronics items. I have a 20 years TV, a walkman, a CD player etc., etc,
                Yesterday I thought of going for an up-graded & affordable TV and brought one KV HG 21 M 80C model TV from PITTAPPILLIL AGENCY; Perumbavoor (Ernakulam Dist, Kerala) vides their invoice No.4844/dt 10th Sept. I bought the TV around 6.p.m brought home, 12KM away from the agency, and was distressed to find that it has a defective power switch. Considerable time was wasted checking the power lines to call the dealer etc., with no avail. One of the Tele-number provided by the dealer in his card turned out to be of some a hearing impaired woman and consequences that followed needs no elaboration. Today I called your office and I was told to cart back the TV to the dealer. This I did and got a replacement as the earlier one was inherently defective. The dealer paid for the Taxi as well. So far so good!
                In the process I & my son had to avail half a day’s leave today from our respective offices with attended botheration of repacking the TV and ensure its safe carting back to the agency. Will you compensate our earning loss, time loss, agony at the failure of the devise at home? And for the disappointment of members in the family who naively welcomed the new TV .My question is, don’t you have a system whereby somebody could call up at our place and attend the complaint rather than asking us to cart it around?
                I knew my rights as a consumer under the law of the land and I have the necessary wherewithal to establish it through the court. I will not do that as I will never look at a SONY brand hereafter.

                Hello,

                I am resident of Mira road (E), dist-thane. we bought sony's 21" TV two and half years back and suddenly fifteen days back it had some problem. It completely blacked out(some display problem). Then we went to the showroom from which we bought the TV but they told as the warranty period is over so we will have to go to sony's service centre which is also in MIra road only. so we called them, the person came next day and took PCB board with him.

                Then he did not call us at all, so we had to go to his place to do enquiry, then the head their named Mr. Girish sawant told that he will tell the problem tomorrow and also the cost for that. the he called after five days to just tell us how much it will cost that also we had to call him everyday and remind him about our TV. That is the poor service they give.

                he told us it will cost us around 1000/-, which is really huge amount for the only two year old TV. But we agreed then he came with the board repaired and joint to TV but now there was another problem this time, the picture got expanded it was going out of screen. so we had to go with the whole TV at his workshop. its been eight days that our TV is with him. He always commits to give the TV next day and still he has not got the problem.

                so whats the use of such service centres who cant even detect what is the problem in 15 days and just know how to charge with large amounts.

                i kindly request that some strict action should be taken against such service centres who just know how to charge extra money but dont know how to provide good service.

                i am rajendran, from thillaiyadi village 30 k.m from mayiladuthurai.my sony tv purchased 3 years before is dead in condition. i make complaint 40 days before at the dealer a.venkatraman, mayiladuthurai, tamilnadu.after one week they sent a service person. he took the board with him to kumbakonam for checking. on the next week he came back and fit the board and said that the board has no problem, the problem to the set is not known and asked me to bring the tv set to kumbakonam 100 k.m way from my village for checking. i contact the sony manager in kumbakonam and said that it is not able to bring this tv to kumbakonam and request him to take service in my home. he agree with me . but still now the tv is not repaired. my contact no [protected] i am very much disappointed for purchasing this tv

                  i was denied duplicate bill for the second time by the mobile shop.actually i lost both my original and duplicate bill. can't i get duplicate bill for the 2nd time.

                  kindly suggest on this. also let me know the indian law regarding issuance of duplicate bills.

                    I had bought on sony Ericsson P1i in sep07. In august 08 its Jog dialer, back key, Touchscreen stopped functioning.
                    I took the phone to the service centre on 23rd august and phone was inspected and submitted by Service centre employee and told me to call on monday 25/08/08.

                    I made a call and was told that touch screen is out of stock and give us a call on Wednesday. Again same story was repeated on that day as well. I have been calling service center on the days when i am asked to call but still my phone has not been repaired and still lying with them. I get the same excuse that the phone is waiting for repairing due to required part is not available.

                    I am having a similar experience now. I bought a SE-W595 in April, hardly tried it's radio. Suddenly when i tried it in End-April, phone couldn't detect Antenna (headset), Music player is playing the sound with speakers...so embarrassing for the first time. Took the phone to service centre at Isetan. Initially they asked me to collect after two days. Later i received a call that motherborad need to be replaced and the part is not readily available with them. They promised me a period of 1-2 weeks. Now it is over 3 weeks and they are still waiting for the parts. God knows where these parts are coming from...may be Antartica. Now i can not do anything apart form waiting for them to call me.

                    Singapore wants to become the world-class service nation...with this kind of service on offer???

                    Anybody is having similar experience?

                      I had Service my Sony TV from your ACE Electronics Service center Rajouri Garden on 24/08/08, but my TV is not working after there Service, I had complaints about my TV also from last Saturday but they are not ready to solve this problem, plz chk this problem otherwise I have to go to Consumer Forum court against your Service center. K530i phone on 5-january-2008 for Rs.8350, whose EMI number is [protected] .This phone is not working properly and is right now in guarantee period, so I want the company to repair it urgently as I am facing problem due to it. I live in jaipur so i went to its serivice centre in jaipur i.e. Telesys 301, anand chamber, baba harishchand marg, jaipur on 30-august-2008. They refused to repair or replace the handset. Their explanation for this problem was just unexpectable.
                        I request the company people to please solve my problem urgently otherwise I will have to go to court . I dont want any difficulties for the company as I am a peace loving person and 100 % right at my place. Please do contact me .

                        I purchased a sony ericsson mobile (K 550i) in December 2007 from Meerut dealer (Teens Gallery Nai Sarak Meerut) & after 11 months it has got a problem like key pad is not working & the silver shading from camera went off, for this when I reached the service centre in Meerut people there directly said that these problems with handset are not covered under warranty provided by sony ericsson & they refused to repair or replace the handset. And I am not satisfied with the after sales service provided by the service center & the company, kindly do something either get my mobile repaired or get it replaced other wise I'll have to complaint further.

                        I feel cheated by the kind of Service Sony Ericsson provides to its cellphone users.

                        I had bought a Sony handset K 790i(MEI [protected]) on 07th Sep '08 from Subhiksha, PVR Vikaspuri, New Delhi, India at Rs. 10495.
                        I started facing problems with this handset from December itself.
                        It switched off suddenly on its own and wasn't switching on.
                        I sent it for repair to the Sony Ericsson's Service Center :- Balaji Tele Services, Avtar Enclave, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi on 16th Dec '08.
                        The complaint Id was : SEO[protected]. They changed the MEI and returned it by 20th. But it again Auto-Switched off in few hours on the same day itself.
                        Then I again sent it for repair to the same center on 21st Dec(Complaint No. 10498).
                        They also reformatted the Sony Memory card and the IMEI was changed again and was returned on 07th Jan '09.
                        The new IMEI no. is [protected]. Recently they changed the battery saying that the faulty battery was the reason.

                        But the problem still persists (Auto-Switch off if kept in idle for couple of hours).

                        I am really pissed off with this problem. Its been over a month now and I have been to the Service Center numerous times and the problem is still not resolved.

                        I also had logged a call at the customer care (Ref. No. SE[protected] for a replacement. But no action was taken.

                        This has been the most pathetic experiences for me. I had been using Nokia handset for years and never faced any issues.
                        I have bought K 550 i mobile in September 2008, now the mobile is not detecting any of the network. No service centre person is able to find out the problem. Just I would like to know, is it such a major problem ? The behaviour of the dealer was not so supportive, instead he was arogant & ignorant. I bought the mobile in Bellary, but he is suggesting me to go to Hubli. I being a professional, can't go to Hubli which is 210 KMs away from here. So, Where should I contact & How my mobile can be get repaired?

                        Its not happened only to you its still continuing with lots of people who ever had this problem and go to the service centre, in my case they have charged the minimum payment of QR/50 if repaired or not this was the minimum chare with them, and coming to the WARANTY they just repair minor problems and if its any major they return it saying its tampered my the user and there is no WARANTY for this. they just wait to chop people who come just finished one year(1YEAR) with there Mob as the Warranty is only for that much time so one they see the completed this period then the ball is with them in the court and its up to them to charge whatever the price they say and will not go much into it for repairing and easily say to change the motherboard so this will solve the entire problem of them where its already the cost of a new one .so now you can understand its nothing else then cheating and get rid of the Warranty and wash out the hands making the customer to suffer the loss and of course a profit for the service centre without bothering about the users problem which cost them so much. For the name there is customer service but this is only a Name sake but in real it’s not customer service but its a customer earners. So its very Important all the mobile users who had gone problems and suffered with their products should put all the hands to gather and go for a legal action with all the complains mention in here, that what I had to say

                          Sony Ercssion K790i Mobile — Services not provided by Service centre.

                          I am having a Sony Ericssion K790i mobile phone which is in warrenty period. I went Sony service centre(Club Electronics, South extension-II, New delhi) last week to replace its head phone which is not working. But the conserned employ told me that "We are not providing any Services, you talk to our Okhla Service centre". If you are not providing Services than kindly remove it from your site and tell me to which Service centre i will go means at which sevice centre you are providing services.

                            My mobile is in under warranty till 16 Sep 08.

                            Sir, on 15 july08 i had problem in charging connector of my mobile so i visited to Sony Ericsson service center, SONIC Infotech, first floor, Faridi building, Maqbara road, Hazratganj, Lucknow-1.
                            They repaired my mobile & return me after seven days.

                            But same day i had problem in memory card of my mobile i.e. not working, when i visited to service center they says that memory card not comes in under warranty but sales dealer told me that memory card comes in under warranty,
                            then i again visited to service center & ask them kindly replace my memory card it comes in under warranty then they accept it & says we will replace it with in seven days, so i submitted my memory card on 28/07/08, but till today i have not get new memory card from them.

                            And on 01/08/08 i had problem in LCD and battery of my mobile so again i visited
                            to same service centre then service engineer of service centre says that we are unable to repair your mobile now due to unavailibilty of spares & says spares are coming on 08/08/08 so kindly leave your mobile so i submitted my mobile on 02/08/08 with battery but till today (27/08/08) my mobile is not repaired now they are saying that we are unable to repair your mobile you please visit any other service centre.

                              Sir,

                              I was the loyal customer of Sony Ericsson, purchased a mobile set (Sony Ericsson k850i) from THE MOBILE STORE, invoice number DEL/01070/00001/8930, dated[protected].

                              After 15 days the mobile set stated giving the trouble in touch buttons, and then I submitted my mobile set to your customer care centre named as VIBRA TEC located at East Patel Nagar, new delhi-110008 on[protected], the complaint id was SES08VIB-10072. They swapped my mobile set after one month on[protected].

                              After some time my mobile set again started giving trouble to me as display problem, then I again submitted it to same customer care centre (as above mentioned) on[protected], the complaint id was SES08VIB-11771. They again swapped my mobile set on[protected]. They delivered it in 6 days because of daily reminders by me to them as well as head office of Sony Ericsson.

                              This was not enough, the mobile set was again started giving the problem in touch buttons with week network problem, and again I follow the same wizard as mentioned above. This time they refuse to register online complaint. After the quarrel with customer care executive who was there in VIBRA TEC (He is also the head of that customer care centre). Then he took my mobile set on behalf of manual job sheet (attached), on[protected]. They gave back my mobile set after repairing, in 20 days, with lots of scratches on the body of mobile set which was not there previously.

                              Now its more than enough. Mobile set has again started giving the display problem with week network as well as trouble in touch keys.

                              Now I request you to swap my mobile set with new mobile along with extended warranty as well as compensation of Rs. 50, 000.00(Rupees fifty thousand). As the loss which I incurred in business and mental torment due to these above problems.

                              If you do not fulfill my above requirements then I will suit the case against you in consumer court.

That on 11.12. 2008 my real brother Amit had purchased one mobile handset bearing IMEI No[protected]S352461-8, from Branch Salora Retail Venture Ltd, Sony Ericsson(Rohini) G-4, Aggarwal City Plaza, Distt- Centre Rohini. Sec-3, New Delhi, Vide Bill No. SAC[protected] dated 11.12.2008.

                              2. That from the very first day of purchase of the above said mobile handset, it has hanging problem. Thus on 20.01.2009 my brother Amit got the same repaired from Salora International Ltd, Vardhaman Complex First Floor, Phase-II, Opposite Civil Hospital, Delhi Road Sonipat Haryana-131001 but the hanging problem remained the same.

                              3. That again on 13.04.2009, the handset was placed for solving of hanging problem but this time also the problem remained unsolved.

                              4. That on 11.06.2009 the handset was further placed for repair at Telecom System, Shop No-143-145 Shiva Market Pitampura, Delhi, but this time again the problem remained unsolved.

                              5. That after running from pillar to post the handset is still remaining under problem and it is hanging all the time when receiving or making outgoing calls.

                              6. That I alongwith my real brother have visited personally at your above mentioned authorized service places of your company but no one could solve the problem of the above said mobile handset and finally we were advised to send this email.

                              7. It is pertinent to mention here that the abovesaid handset has been gifted to me by my real brother Amit and it is being used by me.

                              8. That due to the hanging problem of the said handset we have already got huge loss of business.

                              Therefore, it is to request you to kindly arrange to get it replaced, rather than asking me to get it repaired, within 15 days of receiving this communication. Failing, which I will be forced to go to consumer court to take legal action against your organization. Look forward to an early and affirmative response.

                              I Agree to what you said..as I have also encountered a very poor experience of the after sales service. I purchased Sony Ericsson X10 MINI Pro, the problem with my phone was, within 10 mnths of my purchase the speaker got totally damaged, after constant follow up I received my phone after 1month and now to my notice what I come up with is, apart from the speaker problem they have damaged it's functioning, now I cannot receive my call nor can I disconnect it, sometimes the display comes and when a call comes it goes off, I fail to respond my calls and on top of that they have also damaged my QWERTY key pad, it has stopped functioning. This time I would be asking them to repair it thoroughly and thereafter if I again notice negligence in their service I will definitely be seeking the help of Consumer Forum.Thanks Ritwika

                                  i have a sony ericssion w550i mobile. it has worked properly for about one and half year, suddenly it was switched off.i took that mobile to the nearst SONY ERICSSIO CERTIFIED SERVICE CENTER, named "SONY ZONE" AT z.p. center, KHAMMAM.
                                  The fellow took my mobile after 30 day returned, saying that it wil not work any more.
                                  i brought it for 11000 rs. so kindly take action against him.
                                  the people link him will damage the brand name and fame.

                                  I have w550i mobile which is now out of warranty. Some days back it got shut down and i went to the service centre they charged rs.450 but when i came home the same thing happened. Next day i went to the service center thaey charged rs. 250 more and after one day it again got shut. what to do now.

                                  This has reference to the W 550i mobile phone, given by me in August to sony ericsson authorised service centre at Faridabad ---- Ms R.T Outsourcing services ltd .( Case ID : N8FBD : 18/51 ). My complaint was that keys 0, 5 were not working, rest the phone was working perfectly, I could receive and make calls, listen to music, camera was ok . To my utter shock they charged me 850/- and gave back the phone with more defects, now this phone is not getting charged, does not start . When I went to them, they kept the phone again for 10 days and have returned it back to me saying that the mother board is defective and we do not spare parts, even the company does not have spare parts and therefore your phone cannot be repaired . With all this I have been cheated by Sony Ericsson . First thier service centre charged me 850/- and spoilt my phone further and secondly even after 25 days they have just returned my phone saying it cannot be repaired . The story does not end here then I contacted the main service centre and they registered a case and in return sony ericsson gave me the engineers name also looking into my case and told me to deposit the phone at the service centre and said they will look into the matter but yesterday I got a call from the same centre saying it cannot be repared. Now what do I do? I gave a perfectly ok mobile and got a toy back from sony erricsson service centre.

                                  I had give one mobile phones for service with the authorised service center in Patna(budh marg) Model number W550i, IMIE number 35744200.058135.8.
                                  when i got my mobile from service center after repaireng, i was socked becouse the body of mobile was changed and was in very bad condition. when i told the incharge of service center then he replied than he will change the body after 15 days because it was not available at that time.
                                  after 15 days he told that body is not available hence the service spares are not in the market and they need to go fo the ordering the same. Why is that with out the spare parts one should have a serive center or on should launch a product and advertise it. I was asked to wait for another two weeks.
                                  but the resut was same.
                                  i am very disatisfied with service of sony erricsson.
                                  If my body will not be changed then i will never try to buy a new sony erricsson phone.
                                  please do something for my phone.

                                    I have purchased a walkman series phone W710i, its IMEI No.[protected], from a authorised dealer (Digital Mobile Collection, Allahabad, Registration ID is UPTT-AD0398967 dt-1-04-06 & invoice no. 1601) purchased on 18-09-07, the handset is creating a problem i.e. it gets automatically turn off after a while, and i went to the service centre, in existing Civil Lines, Allahabad-Uttar Pradesh, INDIA.
                                    They have kept my handset for 3 days from 27-08-07 to 29-08-07 and i m still finding the same problem again. The warranty of my handset is expiring in near future. And it seems to be that they just want to waste the time, so that they get some charge on my set as the warranty will get expired.
                                    So i request you to please take some action so that the comsumer shold not face such problem.

                                      This is in regards to the mobile phone model W830i, IMEI # [protected], which i had purchased on 2nd of August 2007 @ Rs 16100. Purchasing an expensive model, i thought i would get the value of the money spent. But i was in for a shock, not even a year and it started giving me problems. I took it to the servicing center, they said that the issue was with the software.It worked fine for a month or so, later it started giving me problems again. So took it to the servie center, Cariano telecom pvt ltd, 4/1 Roop nagar, Delhi - 07, as it was still under the warranty on 30th July 2008, Job # SES08CT114718. Till now i haven't received my phone back. Called up Sony Ericcson's call center and lodged a complaint vide reference # SE749 - 1335. But still no result. The service center informed me that they had tried changing the defective part but the issue did not get resolved and have asked me to wait for another week to see if the issue is resolved. So here i am, spending so much money on a defective phone from Sony Ericcson which has a reputation of being the best.

                                        Hello,

                                        I visited to Sony erricson retailer B.M telecom & other is some satisfacory store. But i m shocked to see that their behaiviour is so rude & they dont know how to handle the customer though i was very geniune customer. Actully phone keypad got damaged & when last time i replaced my set from their they said sir there is no requirement of bill we will give you slip in future you can use this slip as bill & if you want then destroy this bill.

                                        But now when i got some prblem with again my set then they said we need that bill otherwise we can't give you resolution they dont bother even whether the cust is gebuine or not.

                                        They are not ready to listen even single word. That is my req to you that pl help me and take some action against them.
