Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you about my Latest Sony Ericsson K850i. I had bought this handset on 05th July’08. Only after 2 months o[censored]se I started to face multiple problems in this phone some of those were, key pad malfunctioning, phone automatically restart, phone gets disconnected when I attend the call etc. With all these problems I went to Accel Frontline Ltd. (authorised Sony service center), Sakinaka, Andheri (East), Mumbai. I submitted the phone on 13th Sept’08, my call id was MUA-SE-698649-CP. They took one month to repair my phone saying pending for part. I am unable to understand that in today’s world also do we have to wait one month for a part which is easily available at any store? When ever we try to call Accel frontline we get phone always engage I had tried for 1 hour continuously to contact service center but I got it engage always. I think this might be world’s first service center which is so busy. Funniest thing is that even on holidays we get phone engage only. Anyways after getting my handset I noticed that none of my complaints were resolved instead my shortcut key which was working fine earlier is not working now. Means they did not solved any problem but created another problem for me. When phone is repaired they even do not have courtesy to call & tell us that your phone is ready. Now even after getting it repaired I am finding that my phone is still restarting, calls are still getting disconnected because of which I have to call the caller which is increasing my phone bill, keypad is still not working properly, now another problem is added & that is my shortcut button is not working. July, Aug, Sept & mid of Oct out of 3 ½ months phone was lying at Sony service center for 1 month. Do you count these days in warranty period? Because of such poor after sales service I am thinking to tell my friends, colleagues & relatives not to buy Sony phones. Also I am thinking to use online communities such as Orkut, Yahoo chat etc. for this purpose. Please increase your service centers..
But as requested by your customer care executive[protected] I will still submit my phone again to same service center. I know rather I am sure once again your people will keep my phone for another 2 months will not at all work on it. After 2 months will handover me saying that all your problems are fixed. But this time if I found that none of my problems are fixed then I will have no option but to go at Consumer Forum. I am having all the necessary documents with me which will help me a lot. One of my friend has also purchased Sony K790i her phone is also not working properly. We both will go to consumer court together. Even we can gather a no of people from service center to launch complaint against you.
So request you to look into the matter before situation gets worse from bad.

i have sony ericsson z 550i, it worked great till 1 year, but after 1 year it lost its display, it was out of warranty, i gave it to the one of serivce centre in my own city that is (haldwani) uttarakhand.they took 1600rs and after recieving the mobile back, it was having problem with the charging, i showed them back they solved it but then the camera didn't worked, i went back to them, they said now it's not our responsiblity .it's really weird when they say we are not used to work with unwarranty sets .
i m fed up with the service centre .
now never in future i will make a mistake of buying the cell phone of sony ericsson..
