I have purchased 32” sony bravia led tv model no klv -32r 482b through ama electronics from karaikal on 2014. Last week i found in the tv there is a multiple small line are seeing during switching on the tv and that will be automatically cleared with in 5minuts. I have made a complained raised on 05/08/2019. Without seeing the tv your authorised service person told that tv display issue and the cost around rs12000/. After giving the pressure to the service person he has visited my house and seen the tv without removing the tv cabinet and he told that it will work only for 5years after that you have to purchase new tv like that he told. As a customer i am asking your tv will work only for 5years? And why we are selected your sony brand even though cost is higher than the other brand. Sony brand shows quality and customer satisfaction that’s why i have selected your brand. Because of the issue, i am totally unhappy with your service and the brand name. Kindly look into that and resolve the issue immediately

    I had bought sony bravia model no kdl-43w800d in5 on 15th june 2017. Tv was not working, when i complained to the service centre, they told that the mother board is gone. The cost of the motherboard is rs 10000/-. My complaint no :[protected]. Having spent huge sum to buy the television. It is not even two years and they want us to bear the cost of the mother board.

    Very unhappy with the response of the customer care and it looks that sony does not care about the quality of the components which they are fitted in the television.

      One of the worst product is sony tv,
      Sony tv supports/pairs only with proprietarybluetooth devices and not any devices.
      Sony is living in dream world, due to name which is captured in past years its surviving.. All other branded tv's has unified bluetooth pairing compatabililty but whereas sony tv still lives in proprietary world.
      Soon sony would diminish with this kind of ownership if they continue with this type of connectivity.

      I did Factory reset also to check
      But still couldn't see SONY LIV app

        Yesterday i have tried for 1 yr subscription. I have paid the amount through net banking on sonyliv website. But subscription is not reflecting in my account. But money was debited from my account. No customer supports, no live chat. Just ridiculous. I have sent mail also to their customer support team with attached payment confirmation mail. Till now no reply. 24 hrs over. They are least bother about their customers. Very poor services. Please refund my money

          I have paid a total of ₹29 to sony liv for one week on august 4 2019 through paytm... I have also received a confirmation mail through gmail which i've paid earlier i have also attatched a screenshot of the confirmation through gmail which is also bearing transaction id... But i t is again asking me to pay... I am unable to enjoy those services as it is valid for only one week...
          Please consider it... As soon as possible...

            We have purchased sony home theatre along with sony t v of 46” on 18 february 2011 from your authorized dealer sony world, akota, baroda.
            So far the performance of t v is excellent.
            Since last three years or so the problem has started with home theatre.
            It indicates push power error all the time.
            We have contacted your service center located in alkapuri baroda several times.
            We had sent the unit to your service center 2-3 times but they could not remove this error.
            We are surprised that the product of such high profile company cannot work properly.
            In our house all the different equipment like music system c d player, tape recorder, radio etc. Are of sony make. There is no problem so far.
            We have kept enough patience to set right the defect by your technicians.
            We presume there must be some inherent manufacturing defect in this model.
            We very sincerely request you to replace this unit by your latest version so as to maintain the prestige of the well-known company like yours

              I am in possession of sony led tv model no :- sony bravia klv-32r482b which fails to boot since 20 july 2019 and accordingly registered a complaint about servicing the same day. The complaint was given service id no:[protected] dated 20 july 2019. It was assured by the service centre that complaint shall, be attended on monday i. E 22 july 2019.
              On 22 july 2019 at around 2: 00 pm, there was a call from one technician that he was at a distance of about 10 km from my residence and shall visit at the registered address after half an hour. However, none of the technicians turned up on 22 july 2019. Again a complaint was registered with the service center on 23 july 2019. It was again assured that technician shall visit by today only i. E 23 jul 2019 but the whole day passed and nobody came. Finally the technician visited on 24 jul 2019 and submitted repair estimate of rs 11000 /- only vide service job sheet dated 24/07/2019 (Copy enclosed) with the assurance that the repair job shall be attended within 04 or 05 days but after lapse of about 11 days nothing has been done so far.
              It is requested to intimate that have i committed a mistake buying product of an organization of such a repute? It is further requested to arrange to get service done on my television set at the earliest and stern action be taken against such officials which are earning a bad reputation to the organization like yours under intimation to the undersigned.

                Dear sir,
                Before a few days one auto updation of the software appeared on my tv screen (I have videocon d2h connection). After two days in a fine afternoon while my tv was on, suddenly it was shut down. While switching on every time the sony symbol once comes on the screen then it is off and the red light is blinking for six times repeatedly.
                I had lodged a complain through my dealer and one service engineer came yester evening who seeing the blinking, diagnosed the trouble in the pannel board of the tv and gave an estimate of around rs. 21, 000/- only.
                My question is that does the symptom of six times red blinking implies a trouble in the pannel board? Can it be judged without opening the tv? Can the pannel board is not repairable? If reparable, what would be the minimum cost? Without touching the tv your service engineer had charged rs. 240/- from me without providing any bill or reference of his visit. Even no message came from sony company!!!

                  I have bought this led tv on 2014 february in chennai, i am very much love with sony product. I have sony vaio laptop, sony home theater, sony mp3 player, i have another 32 inch tv. So when ever i am going buy any electronics first bran comes to my mind is sony. I have spend 1 lakes 10 thousand rupess for this 47 inch led and 3d tv. It is really working fine, suddenly we have noticed some display issue. I have reported this issue with service center and technician came for assessment and give the feed back it is display issue, so you need to pay at least 30000 rs for replacement of the display or you can buy new tv with some portion of discount given by our sales team. After one days they called us told me service cost will be 45 thousand so if you want select any latest model and we work out the discount you can buy the new tv. So we have selected the similar type of tv and given to them for quote for discount, two days later they said we will take back your old tv and we will provide the discount price of 64000 rs for your selected model. When i check with flipkart and other seller the price less than the price given by sony. My questions is why you try cheat your customer with this kind of poor service? I am really disappointed, i won't purchase any sony product in future and i won't recommend anyone to buy it. It is totally unfair, service and sales people life of the led tv 5 years, if it is 5 years why you guys was not mentioned during the sale? 110000 rs tv for 5 years who want to buy? I understand electronics life but you have to think about consumer side one year 22k rs 5 years 110k rs gone. I am very much disappointed, i am help less no solution for my issue. For sony today market so many brand in the market but we trust your quality and service that is the only reason we bought the product but it is waste of money to buy "i don't buy anymore for this only reason" if you you guys take back my old tv and charge me again more, so you guys again try to cheat me.

                      I have lodged a complaint no 79266399 on 18th may 2019. Since then 3 technicians visited and each one promised to resolve the issue in 8-10 days. It is now 76 days and i don't even get a status update? Having paid 1.5 l for this tv two years ago with lots of promises from vijay sales and sony, i am extremely disappointed.                         Since last 2 days my said led tv is not working. We have been trying the toll free number but since yesterday after dialing on [protected] as soon as we slect ivr number 3 the call ends with no response. Today we tried whole day again with no connection finally selected ivr 1 to find some help but again in vain. Spoke to tanveer floor senior executive how has committed a call back from concern team within 24 hrs on [protected].

                        We are disappointed as how the ivr system for such big like sony can be non functional for so long.

                        We would appreciate if this mail is treated on priority.

                        This tv was bought on[protected] against invoice number splaza-03050 from sargam electronics mg road gurgaon & is under 2 years warranty. It is not starting and the red light is blinking

                          When i purchased this smart tv kdl46w950a three yrs back, i was able to access lot many apps from sen. Surprisingly, recently sony india has removed all the apps except three of them. Upon calling customer care, i was suggested to use laptop to access those channels/apps and connect it with tv. Sony shamelessly forgot they sold a smart tv. Why would a customer pay hefty price (80k) for a smart tv, when he could have purchased a simple led tv (With much lesser price) and access internet contents using laptop. It is a clear case of cheating their customers.

                            I’m using sony w800d 43inch 3d tv from last 3years. Last year i faced a issues on the display exactly after 1year of my usage of tv my display had problem of red light blicking. And i raised a complaint again exactly after changing the display today without any damage or issues all of sudden while watching tv it turned off and started showing same red led light and not turning on. What is happening with this tv we are paying so much amount by trusting the brand thinking it will last for long years paying 85k and every year if it’s damaging then what is the use of buying investing so much amount we can buy any local brand for lessor amount to use for 1year. I kindly request you to please do not buy sony getting very irritating for hardware issue they are asking us to purchase the display why should we pay for hardware issues it’s not physically damage for us to invest. Please give me solution or suggestion how to get it replace without any cost?

                              My bravia tv's (Klv-40w672e) s. No[protected] led got faulty, it was not under warranty so i gave it for repair on 12 july 2019 at the sony authorised service centre in dehradun along with an advance payment for led panel replacement, it has almost been 2 weeks but there is no information about my tv's repair work. The helpline numbers do not work. N after spending so much of hard earned money on sony products ther is absolutely no response from the sony side.
                              The service provided by sony is very well below that can be expected by such a company, there is no one to cater to the needs of the customers.
                              Really dont understand how can it take 2 weeks to replace a led panel, even when the customer is paying.
                              Made a mistake by purchasing sony product, wont do it again...

                                Dear relationship manager

                                We purchase sony television (Model number kd-43x8500c) from vijay sales at vasai road. We purchased the television set on 30th april 2016 (Bill attached) and were given to understand that the set has a warranty period of one year from the date of purchase. We trust the brand and this is the third television set that we have purchased. As we are cautious about electronic equipment, we went for the scheme of two years additional warranty and paid rs.5000/- (Additional warranty proof attached).

                                On the 05th of july 2019, when we watching the television, the set suddenly stopped showing pictures but was showing horizontal lines. The volume and sound was clear. I have immediately called your call centre and lodged a complaint. Within 48 hours your technician came and checked the set. He concluded that the display has got corrupted due to moisture. I immediately asked him how can this happen in around three years and his response was that this is an electronic equipment. He further stated that i will have to pay rs.29, 000 if i wanted to change the display.

                                May i ask if this is expected of a reputed brand like sony which in three years get corrupted. The charges to repaid is an astronomical rs.29, 000. We might as well got for an alternate brand. We took extra precaution of extended warranty which expired in april 2019!! I would like to register my strongest complaint that a well known brand like sony just stops functioning after three years.

                                Can we have justice please.

                                  This product has been sold under tag smart tv..and recently they have removed app store from their software... So i am unable to get my favourite hotstar, jio tv and like apps on my tv and on complaining also sony has not provided these apps in any update...in todays world if tv dont have these apps can u call it as smart tv? Its just a ### box..and sony has treated consumer like fool for such a ### box for cost more than Rs. 60k ...

                                      Sir,
                                      My sony 42" flat tv, model number: klv-40ru82b, and serial number: 3294201 purchased on 5/9/2014 is out of working from 26.6..2019 onwards. The fact has intimated to sony authorised service under d. Number : 26/306-d1 parachalil building vengalloor p o thodupuzha. The technician sri anoop has came at house on 3.7.2019 and found that the mother board ic 9001 has burned. Then he taken the mother board for detailed checking. He said that some times the display has also been got damaged. If so the complete set has to be replaced on paying an amount of rs 18000/-. I am ready to pay the amount as said if necessary. But the problem is nothing but has been taken from the company's part till date. While calling several time over phone, they replayed that the mother board had sent to the company for repairing with computerised. I want to know 1) how much time will take to get service my tv? Is the action taken from my side till date is in proper way?. I am waiting for your valuble service.

                                      Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      My sony camera had a complaint about focussing.I gave camera to kollam service center on june 14.Now It is more than one month.When I called them, they were saying there is no parts and parts were coming from various parts.I am very ashamed of sony product's service.So I requested you to repair my camera under warranty period.

                                        As mentioned by all in the comments same issue is seen even in my sony bravia kdlex520 32inch tv bought in 2012 there are veritical lines appearing on the screen from 2016 and as per the service center info display needs to be changed and it costs around 22000. Now even the warranty is also expired, much disappointment with sony products, sony needs to look in to this matter as a particular model is having issue why can they check for quality and do some thing for customer who has spent lots of money on their products, can v get any solution.
