We had purchased 55' led tv from sony authorized dealer & panels had become defective within 6 months. Sony service centre @ chennai is claiming to pay money for repair though it is in warranty assigning some reasons without having any 3rd party investigation.
Pl advise sony team to obliged to warranty clauses properly without looking to shy away.

    Dear sir/mam,

    My sony tv (Model/srn:kd55xa200e/8003161) is not displaying picture & lining is coming.

    Tv was shown to local sony service centre but there are not accepting it failure and saying it damaged. But nothing like damage has taken place.

    You are requested to review the case and provide me necessary guarrantee/warranti support.

    Tv was purchase in oct 2017 with 1 year extended warranty.

      On 1/6/2019 i recived my service request id[protected] for reparing my lcd polarised film, which was damaged after 7 years of purchase. And yet i didnt get any assistance from the service centre and still facing isuues. I tried to contact the service centre but no actions are taken till today. So i request you to kindly take some actions regarding this isuues and let me know if im reciving any further assistance in future. If not kindly let me know the reason of it. Because after so many attemp i didnt get any kind of costumer satisfactory service.

        Hi

        Even so many brands are available in television market in india i trust, love only sony brand. Even though it's costly than others the quality, vintage, performance, service made me to go only for sony. Unfortunately iam totally disappointed by seeing respected sony brand new color tv just 7 months old got in to trouble and it's mother board got defected. I don't understand how it's happens in new purchased one. Your authorized clarity service centre engineer mr. Suresh had attended the call and telling that normally it won't happen in new tv and how the tv mother board was defected and anyway the mother board will be replaced on monday. Mean time i have spoken with your customer service executive mr. Krishnan also and register my complaint and he said that the board may replaced since its in warranty period. But iam not satisfied with this answers since i have not purchased brands like kodak tv, china products and it's vintage brand paid high value and you should honor my request by replacing a new tv which only makes me to be happy. So that i will whole heartedly i will be continued to buy sony brand in future too.

        Hope you can understand my feelings and support me by honouring my request. Here with attached bills and warranty copy for your reference.

        If you not replacing i don't have choice to approach consumer forum and published in to google consumer voice of your brand quality.

        Girias dealer ambathur very worst in service and helping customers. They are hand washed after it sale.

          We have bought Sony w80D series android TV during 2016 it has cost 60000 INR with warranty of 2 years. After the warranty period started problem not showing eventhough power supply is on. Raised complaint to service centre they visited and had a look and told us the repair charge would be 27000 INR which is almost 50 percentage of the total cost.. This is the first issue we have got after buying the TV and costing us half of it amount already. Is worth to buy it from such reputable brand?

            I have puchased sony tv of model no 43w672g on 12.06.2019 from great eastern trading company, kolkata.But from the very first day tv is giving intermittent sound problem .Sound goes away intermittently, but video is o.K .Installation engineer was also noticed this.After that one more service engineer was came to rectify the fault, but they failed to rectify the fault .In this position i want to replace the set, as there is look up time in sony product . Hope you do the needful to give me the right tv set.

              Sir/ma'am I have a problem in my Sony led and I register a complat on Sony toll free number they refer my complat local Sony customer care center I call again and again but they not answering in right way or any positive. Only one time they send a man he just check the led and say I will come tomorrow with my tools but after that no one come. I have all call recording i[censored] want I send you .

              We bought tv on 2016.now our tv has low brighness and some light emitting on the side of the corners of the tv.we need customer service support from sony..when the tv is running the brightness getting low by low.. getting dark more..also there is light flashing on the right edges of the tv always.

                I purchased sony bravia 40 inches tv way back in 2014 but recently due to lightning strike my tv is not starting so complaint register - j91094437
                But according to them they don't have spares of this model and they are offering replacement of tv with discount rate with is approximately same as market rate.

                As a brand name we choose sony for reliable service but in my case i am not getting service and the scheme of replacement of tv is also pathetic as the new tv market price is same which sony is offering for replacement

                Also please answer why should I buy another sony product if same story has to repeated after 4 or 5 years for spares.

                  I have purchased Sony 4K TV in the year 2016, . Warranty is still June 2017. I have spent 83000 for this TV. This product is of no value for money and Sony is a brand but of no value. This TV I have purchased on EMI basis.

                  When I brought this issue to the Sony service engineer, he asked for replacement of panel, that costs 30070 rupees with GST.

                  When the companies are charging huge amount on a such products, they should provide trusted service for customer.

                  Sony should Come forward and give assurance for such customers providing free services at least for 6 - 10 years.

                  Panel issues in Sony TV are more common as the reviews provided by many customers will provide and evidence.

                  Company should immediately replace my panel without any charge. As This Sony 4k TV has not even provided it's functionality for three years properly.

                  Sony is a big company, having faith on company, I have purchased the Sony TV. Company should reply to this.

                    The service engineer took away the warranty recipt without our notice and the full installation of the product was not done.
                    There was a problem regarding the universal remote of the television which was to be fixed but it was not done. And the engineer told us that he would come the next day for resolving the issue but he didn't came and neither responded to our calls.
                    He didn't explain us the entire features of the television and left away.

                      I purchased Sony 3D LED KDL32HX750 on date 19.02.2013. This TV is showing the vertical lines and double images. When we complain of it to Sony customer care and after chargeable visit of service engineer they are asking a cost of 22000 for panel replacement. With a short span why should pay so much huge amount. This is really a shocking to us and the brand value of Sony is zero to us.
                      Sony should replace it on free of cost basis. Sony should replace it on FOC basis with immediate effect if Sony think that customers should refer its brand value to others.

                        Three weeks in a row they have deducted money from my account without permission and on top of that didn't even provide the service they were supposed to. Very pathetic customer service.

                          My kd 55x9000e is not switch on and approached Sony service centre on 24.05.2019 J90968425 and they said mother board problem. Therefore they ordered it on 26.05.2019. But we not yet received it and I paid Rs.8000 as advance. Today they said mother board is not available. My TV is one and half years old So kindly replace it with new one of the same kind.

                            I purchased the TV on 25th July 2014. Its suddenly stopped working. Audio and back lights are working but no audio. I called the customer care and registered the complaint on 5th May 2019. Service request ID is 53960005.

                            Engineer checked my TV and told me that the Main Board became faulty and it will cost around 42 thousand rupees. i got shocked, because, its an expensive TV and i believed its reliable one. But, Nothing is true in my case. Finally i decided to replace the Main board and asked the engineer to replace it.

                            After 2 days the engineer told me that Main Board is not available with Sony, So that i asked him to repair my existing Main Board. He said its not possible.

                            Finally they offered some discount which is the worst part in my experience. Discount they offered is less than the offer which is going on with the retail shops.

                            In my case i have wasted 30K every year just for the entertainment. Now i am living with no entertainment. So far the problem is not resolved and complaint kept open.

                            I personally recommend dont buy Sony TV in India, Because they are selling the garbage.

                              This is to inform you that i am using Sony Bravia LED.

                              From last 01 year i am facing problem auto on/off in LED.

                              I raise complaint regarding this, and the problem got resolved.

                              But after sometime again same problem occur, again i raised complaint and again problem got resolved..

                              But now again third time same problem occur within 15 days, , i raise complaint and the LED is with your service certre J.P. Electronics Ghaziabad from last 10 days and i had paid more that 4 time for the same problem..

                              I asked the technician of J.P Electronics to resolve the problem and return the LED In working condition. They said the faulty part is not available with us, problem can not be resolved. then i asked to replace the LED, they said you have to pay difference of Rs.28, 000.00 for the same..

                              This is very shameful for me that i had paid more than 4 time for the same problem and i also had last repairing invoice of J.P Electronic mentioning 03 months warranty or repairing for the same problem..

                              Now kindly provide me my LED Back in working condition, else i have to go to consumer court.

                                Sony TV/ I registered for Service on May 17 8 your company person Mr. Kannadasan visited and checked the TV on May 22nd. He told some board problem for not working of the TV. So the spare has to be ordered and will take 4 days time. Also he told I will receive a call from the company about the quotation. I paid Rs. 270 to him. After that I didn't receive any response from anyone. I called that person two times and no positive answer. Again I registered a complaint to your company on June 8.Till date I am not responded which is a great disappointment for me. We believe Sony is best in quality and service but this is really shocking. Nowadays even small concerns are prompt in their service but how come this happen in a reputed concern like SONY. Consumers buy products for the brand name bearing big amount comparatively to other companies. But what is the use? Definitely I can't wait anymore and expecting response sooner. Thank you.

                                  We have purchased Sony TV model KLV-43W672G ON 8TH NIGHT but still now installation and demo has not done, I am not at ala satisfied by this kind of service, it's been 3 days, spending 47k and bringing TV to home to keep a side .I made a call to no [protected] given by salesboy where TV was purchased, he asked me to contact that person for installation I made call to that no she told that it will be installed by today, but it was not son u am not at all satisfied by this kind of service

                                    We at Sarita Lok Darshan got Sony TV some 2 years back (KDL-48W600B )
                                    @(G-615/616 wing) Sarita lok Darshan, Military Rd, Marol, Andheri East .It is commendable that we did not face any major problems with the TV on 28th of May 2019 the TV was not responding except the red light blinking for three times as so the complain was registered on 29th may 2019 at 1100hrs ( ID NO:[protected] .
                                    Thereafter the complain was indeed attended after more than 48hrs on 3rd June 2019 and was told the processor will have to be changed and would cost rs: 7432/- as agreed was told to pay advance sum of rs: 3000/- which was paid immediately Job no: J91008879 Dated: 31st may 2019. Thereafter repeated calls have been made to the Service center and also to the call center today 11th June 2019 absolutely nothing has been done and could not understand the delay, We sincerely hope that This is NOT the total breach of the agreed code of ethics..
                                    Dear sir such sort of lapses if there are any is unheard of especially with an reputed company like SONY ? We very well understand that with the ever expanding horizons of the company there are delays but will the customer have to suffer in this manner?
                                    For good order sake and for the betterment of the company suggest management should view this matter very seriously as we customers though happy with the quality of the product are "absolutely unhappy" with the after sales.
                                    Kindly be advised that above communiqué is forwarded to ensure that management gets the required feedback. How else will you know about the situation?

                                    Trust we all have a clear CONSENSUS on the above subject - Would highly appreciate fair understanding and compliance on above.

                                      We bought this LED TV model KD 49x7500f IN5 in month of Jan 2019. .within 4 months it has gone bad and technician is saying that LED panel has gone bad. He says they will repair it.

                                      We are loyal customer of SONY all along and we are surprised that a new TV has gone bad so fast within months. We request you to replace the entire TV rather then repairing this as there can be other issue which will come up again post repair.

                                      We are not ready to accept any repaired TV. If your company value in quality products and services then it must be replaced only.

                                      Expecting a positive and fast response on this.

                                      first of all let me tell you that i have never been so dissatisfied with SONY as i am feeling now. from my childhood days i had a good image about the SONY brand and products and so i bought such a costly TV. That good image is now completely shattered. i am not too sure what has caused such a great company to go into such low level of product and service quality. I am a doctor and i know the value of good and timely services to my patients. in today's world i expected a better response from SONY team on my request.

                                      Honestly tell me how come a core component and heart of such costly and latest TV can go bad? your statement that in electronics such things can happen raises big question mark on the manufacturing process in the company. A Japanese company making such a statement without any iota of apology makes me feel that this must be a regular feature of your products. Incidentally i also happen to talk to many of my friends and relatives and they also seems to have experienced SONY product failures very soon. whereas i have not heard such things for other brands so far in my circle.

                                      my second fear is that quality of workmanship when a panel is replaced is really suspect. When your high tech manufacturing facility with quality control process has not delivered the desired quality then what quality of work and longevity we shall expect when such a replacement is done in field?

                                      i am not ready to accept such a shoddy customer care and arrogant behavior of your company. As a doctor who earns money with lots of hard work, i shall fight it out and would like to reach out to your senior most management to let them know about my pain. I shall request them to pls take this TV back and keep with you only for your use. I shall buy another one from another company once I am able to save sufficiently. I do not give substandard treatment to my patient and so i shall not accept a substandard product from SONY come what may.

                                      Pls share the contact details of the senior most management team of SONY India and I shall represent to them. Let them also arrogantly reject my request so that i can go to consumer court as well as to social media platform to let everybody know what type of company our erstwhile SONY has become.
