We have subscribed to the premium version of sony liv app but since last two weeks the set hd channel live is not working properly on the app. Other live channels are not causing any problem but the problem still persists with the set hd channel. The live streaming stops and keeps on buffering every single minute. When the video resumes from buffering, it starts from where it stopped and hence, there is no live streaming possible with this. Please help or refund our money.

    Hello,

    I have been experiencing an on going issue since the time i have signed up for the premium membership.

    There is a connectivity issues while watching live tv channels and says "something is wrong. We're working on it. Please try again in sometime."

    Even after the update, the premium version on the app on my samsung smart tv is showing as locked, my premium membership is not showing and the error msg i get is "something went wrong, please try again after some time." also, i m unable to logout of the app.

      Request for initial installation and demo of home theater was placed on 16 mar 19. Customer care rep assured completion of the same by 16 mar 19. Task was assigned to m/s ss technologies visakhapatnam and the dealer also committed installation and demo on 16 mar 19 or by 17 mar 19. However, dealer had switched off the phone and is not responding. Subsequently called customer care rep on 17 mar 19. But they even refrained from lodging a complaint and also to note my feedback of poor service support. Presently i feel the service reps and dealers are giving false/ wrong promises and the customer have to wait for services as per the convenience of dealer/ sony, which is not correct. Service support by m/s sony is observed as very poor. Request take necessary actions and complete the installation on 17 mar 19 itself to keep the commitment provided by your company and dealer.

      TV purchase found manufacturing defect confirmed by engineer but they demand money for repair which is wrong.

        Hi sir/madam,

        I called to sony service center for repairing our tv (Bravia sony tv) and they came to our home to repair but they told we will take some spare parts (Two boards in the tv) and will get back with corrected parts and fix it after repaired the parts. They took away the parts even after six months also there is no response from sony service center. Even i called them 100 times there is no response but i have asked to return those spare parts again they are telling will give it back but it is continuing since last six months. Please fix it asap.
        I am really frustrating their service and very bad service...

        Sony service is very bad service... after so many reminders also there is no single response, how bad serbvice is this. just i am asking our spare parts back which they are taken from our TV to repair. How many times we have to remind them??? We are seriously frustrated about their service

          I have bought bravia 2 panels in december 2015 keeping high faith in brand but one of that 43" panel started giving problem from early days of purchase, i had took their 2 year extended warranty also which has expired in december 2018 and on 27th feb 2019 my tv panel (3 year & 2 month) got faulty and sony is not considering it for free replacement and asking 24.5k for replacement, i am requestibg them since first day to approve free replacement but they are adamant on taking charges hence as a last hope i am knocking this door

              We have purchased sony bravia model no kdl-42w900b on 17th december, 2014.

              Due to unknown reason our display panel got damaged.

              We contacted to sony customer care from where, engineer from s. B. Electronics (Authorised dealer) visited our place, and confirm about damaged of display panel. He gave us estimated expense for replacement of display panel and on basis of which we placed our order with sb electronics on 26th december, 2018 and paid an advance of rs 15, 000/-. But till date we have not received our order due to non availability of display panel.

              Instead of that we have received offer from sony tv for replacement of old tv with new tv (Model: kd-43x7500f). Firstly we received an offer price of 27, 000/- from sb electronics for replacement of tv which we were ready to pay. But after 2-3 days the price was revised to rs 55, 000/- which we are not ready to pay.

              My contention is why display panel is not available for 4yr old tv. Is that after use of 3-4 yrs if any such thing happens to tv we only have to throw the tv as no spare parts are available with sony. Then there is no use of purchasing sony tv as spare parts are not available.

              Even if we purchase any sony tv by replacing the old one, there is no surety that if any damage/faults happens to tv, it will get repaired.

              Sony should give us replacement of tv at a price of display panel, if same is not available. How sony can charge us more amount, as it is not our fault that display panel is not available sony. It looks like that the sony is trying to sell us new tv instead of providing a solution.

              We need proper solution from sony tv for our problem.

                I took my sony tv to 'sony authorized service centre calicut' (Phone[protected] on 02/03/2019. Job no. J90412731. They said since the spare part is not readily available with them they have to get and they return the tv repaid within a maximum period of 10 days. They told me the total changes including all will be rs. 5, 350.00 and forced me to remit 3, 000.00 in advance which i did. (This is the first time for me some service centre force customers to make the payment in advance. Is it a company policy?). On 14/03/2019 at 10.44 am, two days after the due date, i called them and asked the status. They were extreamly rude and told me it will be ready when it will be ready and if i have a problem i can lodge a complaint at the toll free number. I asked the executive his name which he flatly denied to provide and challenged me to do whatever i can. This behavior from a highly esteemed company like sony was real shock.

                I want just a customer care support about my tv wifi connectivity technics. And I contacted here sony servicing centre ( CITY electronics Pvt. Ltd, kruthi plaza Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu ), but they asking money for a little help for connecting my tv to mobile . I can't believe ..why they asking money for u'r own product's technical support.

                    I had purchased a sony android tv (Model x8500f, 49") on 09 feb, 2019. A counterfeit product was delivered without quality check.

                    During the installation of the tv on 09-02-19, it was noticed that the hdmi2 port was not functioning. It displayed a message 'no signal'. Also it does not support my sony home theater system (Model e3100), apple tv and fire tv. The demo guy (Technician) informed me that the hdmi2 port would work only with dth set top box. So i purchased a set top box. But still the problem persisted.

                    Thereon, i contacted the installation technician again to discuss about the problem. He confirmed to me that a factory damaged product has been delivered without quality check. And also instructed me to contact the sony outlet from where i had purchased, asking for product return and replacement.
                    How did the staff misguide a customer who trusted your brand and purchased the product?

                    Even after such a disappointing incident, i had accepted to get the product replaced as per sony service centre suggestion.
                    To my dismay and astonishment again a damaged product was brought for replacement. The screen of the tv was broken.

                    Does sony value their customers? Even after constant and reckless mails being sent, there is such a cold response from the management.
                    And sony without even taking the matter into consideration has blatantly blocked my facebook account for posting the issue and bringing it into the public domain.
                    Hence its proven fact that sony has sold a counterfeit product to me and trying to dodge the situation without giving appropriate resolution.
                    Is sony here to merely mint money without taking care to the customer grievances?

                    You can take back the product without even paying a penny. Instead i require an apology letter stating your failure to deliver good quality product and that the quality what customer required cannot be delivered from your end.

                    By considering all the above matters, do not consider negotiating and offer me another product or alter your promises. I have numerous evidence to prove that casual approach towards the issue and repeatedly delivering counterfeit and damaged product.

                    Also do not contact me via phonecalls. I have stated all my serious concerns via mail. Likewise i insist only for a written mail communication from the management on this issue.

                    I would take up the issue to the consumer court for the amount of time and effort expelled to follow up and no effective satisfactory resolve has been provided to settle the matter. Almost 30 days since i have purchased the product and constantly following up with the company.
                    For all the frustration and effective time spent on the issue i would seek equivalent compensation at court.

                    Consider this as a lesson. Have the courtesy to respond to customer queries and complains promptly. Do not keep them waiting and disturb them at workplace by making phone calls for all the issues. When the customer is communicating via email make sure as a responsible organisation you respond to the same via mail only.

                    If you are still adamant not to respond, then what are you here for? I expect a clear mail confirmation on the issue stating the action or decision regarding this matter.
                    Based on your response to this mail i would decide whether to take it up with the court. So expecting a mail acknowledgment is sent on the issue at the earliest.

                          We are running Sony service center in akola Maharashtra which is shree gajanan services...our payment is pending from Oct 2018...we ask asi of Nagpur branch abhijeet navghire and bsi pradip chopra they said management hold our payment and our agreement is still on march but they open new service center unofficially.we are unable to do company's rtgs cause our payment pending ..they clearly cheat us ...yesterday was our odit and abhijeet navghire was came in our services ...and they get our brackets and customers mobile handset ..they said it has submitted in Nagpur branch office but they send that to another service center which has open unofficially.. We have a video proof.. They said our service will closed due to insufficient balance in our account please tell us how can we paid to company rtgs ..our payment approx 1300000 is pending ...dear sir please help us for solve this issue my contact no [protected]

                            Hello sir maam
                            I purchased the above, in 2009 from casa madhav panjim. It was repaired in 2016 by self at mumbai. Since it's a sony product, i didn't want to throw it so i tried calling sony company in feb 19. The company willingly said it can be repaired so i told them to go ahead, it was repaired for rs. 3000/when i received the item it played for 10 minutes, i called up sony call center and send email, with lots of personal request. They took it back second time and took rs. 236/ for transit, it played for 45 minutes and then again same defect, now i am fed up with it, i wanted my money back, but they are not entertaining and saying that the instrument is very old. My question is that this they could have told me it cannot be repaired, so that i could get it replaced. Now i don't know what to do, kindly advise how to get my item repaired or my money back i am also going transfer from mumbai on 12 mar. 19. Regards

                                Please take this in your consideration. This is about sony tv hd airing. The audio comes much later than the visuals. This spoils the mood for watching your channel. Please fix this problem on sony tv hd. This problem has persisted since a long time and no resolve has been done by you. Waiting for the fixation in anticipation since i have paid a significant amount to view this channel of yours.

And also instructed me to contact the sony outlet from where i had purchased, asking for product return and replacement.

                                  Hence, as being told to me, i had registered a complaint (Id[protected] at sony call center and repeatedly contacted them regarding the same.

                                  Its highly frustrating to see no effective resolution been taken at your end to resolve the issue.

                                  I have serious questions for which i seek clarification from your end:
                                  1. On first place, why was such expensive products delivered without appropriate quality checks?
                                  2. Why was i misguided by the installation technician, due to which i had to bear additional expense?
                                  3. Why is the customer service centre so lethargic and irresponsible towards the persisting issue even after repeated follow ups by customers?

                                  With the kind of experience with your organization, i don't believe that the company values their loyal customers and seeks to ensure customer satisfaction and service.
                                  I am also escalating the matter to the consumer court seeking justice. I feel cheated as a customer for having purchased the damaged product and to witness such cold erratic response on this case.

                                  Since there has been a serious lapse on resolving the issue, i would like you to collect the product back and refund the amount. There are numerous other brands who are considerate towards their customers and take effective steps in resolving their problems promptly.

                                    My name is shimon kanar, i live in ecuador but purchased my sony receiver model str-dh590 from amazon.com.
                                    Whatever i have tried i did not succeed to get my subwoofer to sound. I have tried all the setups of speakers but for vain. I know that this sony model need amplified subwoofer speaker.

                                      Sorry to say but I am really disappointed with your poor after sales service and communication. I have visited service centre with the issue of cracking sound in loudspeaker ref. workorder no. W[protected] dated 23 Nov 2018. Unfortunately the day after service centre handed over the handset I found the same issue with the loudspeaker and again I had to visit the service centre for the same issue. This is really very annoying to visit the service centre for a single issue and keep the device at service centre for a long period. I have urged to provide a replacement unit of the same as they said there's a hardware issue which technicians denied to accept later. They took the phone second time for observation with workorder no. W[protected] dated 11 Jan 2019. However after weeks they couldn't find any issue where I faced the issue and showed them, even they agreed with the issue earlier. I tried contacting multiple times through the channel https://support.sonymobile.com/in/contactUs/ regarding the unsatisfactory service but this could not also help. From 11 Jan 2019 that defective phone has been kept in your service centre for observation till today. I hardly got the chance to keep the phone in my hand and rest of the time it's given to the service centre in the name of observation. However will it ever be replaced or I will loose my warranty by keeping it in service centre after investing huge bucks for a phone? do you offer this kind of after sales service for a high price device? This is my last request to provide the replacement regarding the issue which caused me to suffer such troubles and inconveniences a lot.

                                        I had subscribed for sony liv subscription of Rs 49 but even after unsubscribing the same I am continously being charged Rs 49. In December'19 I was charged Rs 99 as subcription charges. So basically I am being charged Rs 49 & also Rs 99 even though I dont have any Sonyliv subcription.

                                        I had mailed Sony India customer care many times but still there is no solution on this.
