Dear sir,

This is to bring to your attention that i had purchased a sony android tv (Model x8500f, 49") on 09 feb, 2019.

Its very disappointing to inform that i have received a product with factory damage. Recently it came to my attention that the hdmi2 port always displays pop up message 'no signal'.
Immediately i registered service request (Id[protected]. One of the sony installation technician visited and assured me that hdmi2 would only work with a set top box. Hence, i bought a set top box, but the problem persists.

I am extremely disheartened with the quality of product delivered and service centre response to the matter.

As the case, i would like the product be returned or collected and be reimbursed for the same as the earliest.

Hope for a response on the incident soon.

    We had purchased sony home theater model - ht-iv300/m bearing serial no. 3380387 on 28th october 2018 from croma, malad. After a few days of normal performance, the amplifier developed some issue, which influenced the bass to a considerable level. We then placed a complaint with sony consumer care on the 17th of december, 2018, after which their engineer came and insisted on replacing the woofer. They sent a new woofer, but the problem persisted, as the fault was in the amplifier. The engineer thus took the amplifier with him telling us that they will get back to us after checking it. After a few days, they called back saying the amplifier is fine and we may collect the new woofer with the existing amplifier. On repeated complaints that we need the amplifier replaced, as the fault is in amplifier not in the woofer, sony still insisted on replacing only the woofer, not paying heed to our request of comparing the amplifier with a new one to make sure. Our last reply from sony was on 12th feb 2019, wherein they denied to replace or repair our amplifier. Authorised service centre: m/s. Metal tech job no.: j90076390 sony complaint no.: 52482141

      Here locally sony in chennai is taken wrong directions, the subsequent chain of emails has enough proof for the same & we are waiting to know the next level of action with proper consent across sony as appropriately as possible & close the issue with some lessons learned & action points to fulfill the gaps as needed..

      Let's make sure we are on the same page o[censored]nderstanding for well being of the same.

        Hello,
        Manogaran here i bought a 49inch tv in the month of oct 2017 and after 3 months my tv display was flickering and i contacted the service centre and they refused to replace the display as the tv is in warranty they are supposed to replace it but they didn't do that and after a long conversation they accepted for the replacement. After a week i have extended my warranty for another 2 years. So i have warranty till 2020. Now i'm facing same issue with the display that it's flickering and i contacted the service centre they refusing to replace the display. But the tv is under warranty. Sony company is making me fool and cheated me. My money is totally looted by sony and i'm here helpless now. I want sony to replace my whole tv or refund the money i paid for the tv. My money is totally looted and wasted here... I need a proper solution.

        Sir I have purchased sony power bank32000mah along with bluetooth headphone vide order number AWB[protected] and after received then open the power bank not working . Hence I am not satisfied this product hence returned
        We have bought Sony tv on 23 February from our local market but after 2 day it's display got damage.when we went for replacement they didn't accept and ask us 23000 for repairment.plz help us.

          All of a sudden my tv got a display issue there was no physical damage at all

          We buy expensive products to use it for long and pay emi's even though we are unable to pay at once and have quality products

          If your quality is not as we expect which will turn bad in couple of days don't call it a brand &sell it for such high prices

          We call for support which is totally denied and top of which you want to charge again even though its a quality issue
          Why should we go for brands n pay high prices and don't get proper support and in turn pay money while in warranty?

          Can some one get back to me at the earliest

          I called customer service raised a complaint, they informed will be sending a technician.. Who did not come again i had to call and take the phone no i request him to come.. He was totally acting weird... He said he has aother appointment how ever will come check for 5 minutes and go

          He came saw the issue said will certainly tomorrow, never came back

          I called customer care later they said it will cost me why should i pay for something when the damage happens while in warranty.. And its not a physical damage moreover the person said will contact the team and come tomorrow to repair which dint happen
          I called customer care and they never bother to resolve it

          I want this to be addressed at the earliest or replace my tv

            But problem start few days coming my tv shown
            Optimise the display by running panel calibration tv will turn off automatically after 30 seconds to start calibration, and turn on again automatically after about 10 minutes.

            this is piaa rajput. i love your channel. .
            there are gud serials nd kapil sharma show is best. but i hate watching crime petrol serial, it contains violent and intimate scenes. it will affect badly on children and it encourages cheap things.
            i like your tv channel too much so i wanna suggest you to remove this serial..
            I hv purchase sony 57 inch oled tv, , from croma and the problem start after a year, , it was good i hv taken extended warantee
            the tv was worth rs 2 laks 90 thousand
            and my unfortunate i hv taken first time ever display pic and croma people assured me no problem will be, , and we hv purchase so many stuff of sony no complaind tull date but o led sony such a expensive pic was useless, ,
            and i claim them thy told in so many pic one pic come, , i told them u change tv and will tk fresh pic watever amt is more than the pic i hv paid thy refused it and thy told will change display and thy are not ready to listen and sony people are trying to manipulate us and in lock down everyone take for granted and sony product are risky to buy now so think twice and do

              On 24/12/2017 we bought sony led tv klv40r352e from sathya agencies ramanthapuram - 623501tamilnadu for rs38700.
              From 20th nov 2018 onwards in that tv the display not working. We complaint to the respective agency regarding this defect and they taken the compaint. Service request id is 51552322. One week after a service person came city electronics madurai and checked the tv and told to us there is some water particles inside the tv so the warranty won't cover. Even though we explained there is no possible way from our side for getting water inside the tv. He also very well know that he only opened the tv wraper which is covered on the outer layer, but for the payed service he didn't response properly and he didn't tell us how the possibility the water enters. He didn't give any job card. Our home also fully concerated roof only there no possible way to get water inside the tv in our home. But the agency and the sony customer service didn't understand our quary and simply in stand with payed service only. They charged up to rs20000 for repairing which is not affordable for us. Please taken this concern and do needful to us.

                Dear md sony india,
                I am not sure that this message will solve my problem or not but i am writing it just as an additional step. I purchased a genuine sony headset wi-c300 which stopped working after 30 days. I went to nearest sony center (Star electronics, naraina) to get it exchanged and the sony center provided me with 3 damaged headphones one after other. I went there weeks after weeks and every time i got the same "i don't care"attitude and a damaged headphone. They even refuse to give me a consumer copy of the job sheet. Lastly, i complain about it in consumer helpline which i informed you by sending dozens of email. I don't know that anyone actually bothered to read it or not beacuse i did not get any response. I was asked to wait for a response while management decides on my issue and every time i call your helpline i am only transferred from one line to another without any solution to my problem. I even sent you a written complaint letter regarding the issue and send it to you via speed post. Your employee's response to attending a problem is beyond pathetic. All they do is transfer calls, don't reply to emails, don't understand the problem and make unnecessary personal attacks on a consumer. I request you to look into this matter and take the needed action soon.

                  I wanted to bring it to your notice that, i had an issue with sony bluetooth earphone and submitted on 31december2018 to vigneshwar services (Job card number - j[protected] who are sony authorized service centre in bangalore. They initially said i will get a replacement product in weeks time (They would make me a call) as soon as they receive the stock, however, they didn't make any call to me even after two weeks, and when i reach them they informed me that, they don't have particular model and its been stopped. Hence asked me to go for upgrade and i should pay the difference in price. I have informed them that i don't want any upgraded model and i don't want to continue with sony anymore, hence asked them for a re-fund. Every time i make a call they will inform me that, they will call me in 10mins but it never happens. It more than 45days of time and till now they did reach me to inform the status. And when i approach they just tell they will call me in couple of minutes. I have spoken to two executives all the times named (Priya and marzeena). Please intervene and help in getting a proper solution.

                    Is not selling sony original tv's.

                    We are his customer. When we went to buy sony tv, they have recommended us to buy assembled tv of sony branding with all the smart tv features, at rs. 25, 000 without bill and gst

                    Unfortunately we got fooled by him, and burnt our hands in the deal..
                    And tvs now are as good as dead.

                    But we want that this should not happen with other customers, and you should cancel his dealership from immediate effect.

                      I have purchased led tv from sony india on 08.04.2017 vide bill no. Sct29. Within a period of 9 months there were faults observed with respect to led panel and complaint booked which was resolved by the sony customer care with 1 week and informed that the warranty is available for 2 year for panel hence, no amount was charged.
                      Now again the led panel has become faulty, the complaint in this regard is raised to sony authorities on 27.12.2018 but no action has been taken till date and whenever i call the customer care center, they tell one or the other reason and disconnect the phone connection.
                      Now, i am forced to raise complaint in this forum with a hope for taking action against such companies and do justice for me.

                        My Sony tv stop working after I switched on after returning from a holiday, despite keeping the power off. Even thought it has 15 days since I raised the complaint and called many many time for follow up, they promise a date and don’t keep. They change their stance every time . The service without even checking anything expect power declared the mother board is gone . Horrible expensive service . Very poorly managed for a world class company . More like thirds class service

On the screen of the tv is showing black black grains on the inside and the screen is not exactly accurate, it has only been 3 months and the problem has started from now on, so i request you to kindly resolve my problems as quickly as possible.                             I have purchased sony bravia in nov 2016, dealer did not educate for extended warranty. After 2 years i am facing some screen issue and service engineer told me pl change your panel. It will be cost of rs. 20000. We are using your product from last 15 years, but this time it is internal problem in tv. If i will pay 20000 for panel then we will purchase a new tv. It is a question of product quality.
                            Your manufacturing team is using chinese parts. If we are interested for chinese product then they are available at cost of 15000 to 20000 with same futures.
                            Sony charged three times premium for product quality and reliability but you manufactured low class of product.
                            Pl check my tv panel and change tv panel with any cost.

After some time show small size spot on screen.in month of october that size was increasing and half screen show black. I was complain to customer service sony authorised service he come to surveyed but he u are break this tv. Tv is under warranty and he say this tv was not covered under warranty. And also he forcly take without any repairs 236 rs conveye charge.

                              Sir i request to my tv covered under warranty period and replace the screen with covered warranty periode

                                Dear team,

                                I'm writing this mail with a unsatisfied & very bad experience with sony service centre team of lajpat nagar delhi

                                The radio set was handedover to this service centre in month of nov-18 as the set was not working, which returned back stating that batteries are down and they have checked the set it is fine but when checked with new batteries set still doesn't work.

                                Radio set was again given back to same service centre in month of dec-18 now i was updated that this set does not have warranty (It means when set was provided in nov month they have not checked anything just lied with customer)

                                Now today when i visited service centre to take my set back i was surprised the way this team take care of electronic items of customer the batteries was inside the set which were leaking in a manner that whole set was filled with leaking battery and even the desk of service centre has drop of same liquid coming out of batteries from radio set

                                Need to know who is responsible for damage this leaking batteries have done to my set and mishandling of customer items which are placed at service centre

                                Please note - on service centre employee request only i have handedover batteries along with set as they were not having batteries at their store to check the set.

                                  Sir i have purchased sony tv kd 43x7002e 22.10.17 as my wedding gift from my parents but since the date of purchase no other devices run on this tv i. E pen drive videos cant be played in this t. V. I want to see my wedding ceremony but yet haven't seen it. We have called the sony call centers also to resolve the issue but all in vein so kindly see into the matter and resolve the same at earliest.

                                    This is to escalate the false diagnostics done by one of your Sony Care repair center from Mumbai with the name of Metal Tech dated 2nd October 2018 vide Job no: J82672164.

                                    As per attached email you can see that the Technician came home and just saw the TV and said that the Display is gone and estimated 12000 rupee for replacement of display. The sony care called me and offered to give new TV in 14000 to 15000 rupee.

                                    On hearing so I spend 17000 and purchased another brand from flipkart as I lost faith in Sony quality as I was a big fan of Sony Bravia engine and I am aware of it since my Electronic Engineering days when you had CRT tubes.

                                    After purchasing new TV I gave the Sony TV to my Brother in law as he had asked for it. He took it to one of his friend who has a roadside shop and got it repaired spending only 2500 rupees.

                                    Hence I would like to report to you what type engineers are working in Metal Tech who just want to loot the customer and loose them. I will never purchase or approach any Sony service center in future. I had faith in the service center that was supposed to be expert in their design. Now that Sony TV has same Display and Mother board by changing display related diode etc.

                                    Therefore if you feel my grief is correct I expect you to take action on it and compensate for my lose.

That's fine for a month, but now it is inactive sub woofer on tv or video related to sound. The complaint is stopped by the sony company saying everything is fine, while the system is now on the warranty period. Please do me try to return the system's cost with fine.                                       महोदय,
                                      दिनाँक 03.02.2019 को सोनी सर्विस सेन्टर, कटनी के प्रतिनिधियों के द्वारा सिस्टम का मात्र भौतिक सत्यापन किया गया. मैंने उनसे कहा कि सिस्टम ठीक करके दीजिए. परन्तु, सोनी के प्रतिनिधि सिस्टम की आंतरिक समस्या दुरुस्त करने में असक्षम थे. कृपया सिस्टम का मूल्य आर्थिक दण्ड के साथ वापस कराने का कष्ट करेंगे.

                                        Sir, sony engineer senthil with [protected] is not come for installation as planned, even called multiple time but he cutting the call saying in hospital and emergency but he was with friends and celebrating and had lunch, etc

                                        Felt cheated, i[censored] want i will share the recorded audio

                                        Please assign me some engineer for installation for tv which bought from vasanth & co t nagar branch on last sunday 20 1 2019, 3 days back he came and collect the demo slip and hand over the wall mount kit

                                        After that we requested to come on this saturday for installation but he is not turned

                                        Cutting call without courtesy.

                                        Please arrange engineer for chennai royapettah location
                                        Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        The TV LCD Screen has developed patches and is unusable. The company has informed that cost of screen replacement is almost of new televisions hence they would themself not advise to repair and instead throw the TV in garbage. Highly Shocking and irresponsible behaviour
