We have bought the tv in 2017 october. Trusting the brand. Exactly after one year, tv has display issues. Technician visited and told that display is under warranty for 2 years so, we have to pay for transportation charges which were around 2500/-. Now after the display replacement in sept 2018 again in nov 2018 we have the same issue.

Disgusting.
Every 2 months if we have the same issue, then what is the purpose of purchasing tv with such hefty amount.

I need the defect tv to be replaced with a brand new one else the entire amount to be refunded.
Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Plz, contact, me on my number iam, not, satisfied with Sony, because, Sony, chit me.

    Because of India tour to Australia, i recently visited your sonyliv.com. As it appeared to me that the site shows 5 minutes delayed telecast of the match, you have to register first and have to buy premium package to enjoy the live services and all the other shows which are present on sonyliv.com. Then i registered into the sonyliv.com and bought the premium package for 6 months which costs INR. 299. I watched the first T20 international between India and Australia without any interruption. But due to some reasons I couldn't watch the Second T20. But when i visited the site to Watch the Highlights of the Match, it repeatedly shows this message "This video is restricted from playing in your current geographic region" and when i tried playing movies it also showed the same message.

    I want this issue to be resolved as quickly as possible. I never expected this kind of services from such a big multinational company.

      My tv has not been working from 15 days onwards, i already made a complaint to your service and i called you so many times however service did not responded. Clearly, this is not the way to deal with the customers, i hope this complaint going to work, we are facing a lot of obstacles due to absence of television, the problem is picture is not displaying and i need emergency sony authorised service

        Have bought a sony 55" oled tv on 27th oct'18, delivered on 28th oct'18 and installed on 30th oct'18.

        Service request id[protected].

        Post installation i have realized that the product that was delivered and
        Installed was a damaged product. It worked for a day and the display screen
        Stopped working.

        Have raised a complaint with service request id[protected] on 4th nov'18,
        The service engineer visited and till today there is no response. Do not
        Understand the reason for the delay.

        Request the concerned department/ individual to treat this on priority and
        Help with the replacement

          Hi,
          I have purchased sony led tv on 30 oct 2016. The display is cracked from inside. I have no idea how but we need your help on fixing this issue. Is it possible to get it repaired by replacing the display or please suggest us what are we supposed to do.
          If the issue can be fixed through repair please let us know the estimated cost and service. We have paid 62, 990₹ and it’s really heavy if we have to bare replacement cost so i request to provide us the consideration or any discount if possible on the service. Quick response is appreciated.

            My daughter gifted me a sony dsc220/ncin5 in march 2016 purchased from vijay sales, prabhadevi, mumbai.
            After using for 3-4 occasions, the flap that covers camera's charging point
            Became loose and it remains in a hanging position now also.
            I was in usa from july 2017 to june 2018 and the warranty period (April 2018) was over when i returned to india.
            Can the manufacturing defect be rectified now by sony free of charges?

              Battery backup problem.. Service centre yet not resolving my problem.. They are saying that you have to pay extra charge, my phone was in a warranty period.. Then i said service centre why should i give a extra charge then staff was said ok then give it hear i will call u tomorrow. After 1weeks i bring back my phone the problem was same. What should i do now?? Only 5 months old phone

                Hello sony team,

                Greetings from one of painful customer!!
                Categorically, i don’t know how shall i come out from my problem? As i described in various email communications.
                All email communications are enclosed with this email for your immediate reference.
                But, absolutely no proper supports, updates and services are being initiated and extended by sony india team.
                A. Are you truly taking-care of your fruitful customers?
                B. Do you understand the value of your customers?
                C. It is really a pathetic experience i had with all of your team members? With huge brand name in indian market.
                D. No one is understanding the customer pain and value.
                E. I had several telecom with your customer toll-free number and no firm commitment received from them.
                F. They were just distracted the customer’s mind..

                I am awaiting the firm commitment & solution from sony’s top management within two days.
                If not happened, i will take it up in different ways of approach, which will be a more harsh way & a heavy impact to your brand name.

To me sony is not a trusted brand because i buy a sony bravia tv which costs too much according to their specification before less than a month (28-oct-2018) but i dont know how televsion's display gets spoiled internally but there is no scratch on the screen nd the technician said" this is a physical damaged and warranty is not applicable. May be, it means sony is using very cheap quality products~ and as compared to sony other brand is giving us very good specification with in cheap price according to this ~
                  And repairing costs approx 5, 700 rupees aswell as ask us to give 1000 ru[ees advance...

                    I brought sony 32 inch tv whose model is 32R422B in September 2014 with rs 30200.it works perfectly up to October 2018.there are horizontal parallel lines on screen .I gave a complaint to sony Customer service team. Sony techneions asked to change the panel or display whose cost is above rs 20000.Sony don't have technical persons.Sony technical person told only to change the panel or display. I never suggest to my friends neighbours to buy sony products.I demand to sony don't sell to the customers cheep products. Sony has good in the brand only .their products are very bad.i demand to sony to repair my tv with reasonable price with rs 2000 or 3000 .thank you to view my complaint on sony

                      Dear team, i am your very old customer and i am having 2 models of television at my home, in which onemodel kdl40hx850 has complaint and the complaint no: 51218911, and it is not yet resolved, inspite of resolving the problem the showroom guys are asking us to buy a new one, how can we trust when we purchased a led of worth 80000/- and there is no replacement of part, then it is better to go new one but not the sony. We have enjoyed having sony television a lot at home but it is very poor in service, i am looking for my other tv model to be replaced with new one surely but not sony...
                      Sony being an international company we never expected this bad service..
                      If you people have any good will, kindly check and arrange any resolution to my complaint as early as possible.

                        I purchased sony xperia xz premium mobile phone on 11/10/2018. On 16/11/2018, i was opted by sony to upgrade my mobile phone from 8.0 version to 9.0 (Pie) version.
                        After upgrading 8.0 version to 9.0 (Pie) version, "4k hdr performance of my mobile phone totally vanished". On the same day of 16/11/2018, i lodged my complaint to customer care[protected], who advised me to visit sony service centre jalandhar.
                        On 17/11/2018, i visited sony service centre jalandhar. They over-wrote 9.0 (Pie) version on my mobile phone from their system and 'reset' it. But its "4k hdr performance" never returned to its original.
                        I am totally dissatisfied with this sony mobile phone.

                          I am s srihar reddy an engineering student, recently i have joined as a sony staff floor associate as an internship for one month in hyderabad, india. Now its two weeks finished after completion of our job. But our salary is still not processed. While joining the internship they have said the salary will be processed within one week of complition of our job. But they did not processed the money till now. As i am an engineering student i have to pay my college fee by 25th november to get hall ticket what i have to do now? Very worst response from sony.

                            We purchased sony tv three years back which developed a problem of display shuts down automatically and retsart automatically. It was given to authorized service center at chinchwad pune. They demanded rs. 6136.
                            The tv developed another worst problem after repair as per attached photo and they demanding rs. 19000
                            What to do? We purchased sony due to it's brand only. Not expecting such experience. We feel cheated. Can some from sony help?

Nor returning our rs 10000/ advance after repeated requests, calls etc. They are totally...

                              I purchased five years back, giving good service till one month back.

                              Blue vertical lines come only during starting, after few minutes, shows normal and clear.
                              I had complained umpteen times - only once one service staff visited, could not find fault, collected visiting charges rs: 240. And left.
                              Since then i am complaining to toll free no[protected]. They promise some service technician will come and rectify, but no one turns up.

                              I had sony tv before and that worked beautiful fore 15. Yrs and this one hardly five years.
                              I could never imagine sony service is so poor. Giving to outside service people make me worried.
                              Can you do some thing please? We cannot afford major expenses now and then. Besides we are senior citizens and depend on only tv entertainment.

                                Hi my Sony Bravia 43 inch 3d Android TV which is 2 yrs old suddenly got a display complaint.I immediately called Sony and Sony mechanic told me that it's the complaint of tecom board and he said that he'll order it soon .But to my amusement I got a call from Sony service center saying it's not the problem of tecom board actual issue is with the LCD panel and it'll cost 26000 to order the panel and they also told me to give the advance amount next day itself.since it was a large amount and as my warranty period was over I gave it to a private tv mechanic who got it fixed by just changing tecom board.And funny thing is that today I got a call from that same sony mechanic saying your tecom board has arrived and you just need to pay 1500 rs as a service charge to fix it .so what sony was intending to do is just not understandable .I lost my money by giving it to a third party mechanic.Is this the same Sony which is considered as the best company in the world?very disappointed with this.Now onwards we as customers will definitely rethink about buying a Sony product.model no: KDL43W950D LED Sony

                                  I Have Purchased Sony Bravia KDL-43W800D 2 Years Back in jan 2016 Suddenly in the Morning When i Switch on the TV I have Brightness Flickering I Rushed to Service Center And after they have Kept Led Tv For One day. Next Day ther are Telling that Panel Should Be Replaced Which Costs Rs 20000 What is this Rubbish I Have Not Expected this From Sony a Trusted Brand So Many Complains That About that after Two Years Panel is Gone and Needs to be Replaced Why the Heal we Should Bigger Amount to Replace the Panel isse Achha to dusre TV lena thik Rahega Rs 25-30000 Me.

                                  The Cost of TV is 63000 and only 2 Years Old TV the Panel has to be Replaced for Rs 20000. Sony is Worst Company they Manufacture the Defective Panels which Only Lasts 2-3 Years. They Only Make Products which Work Under Warranty Period. I will Suggest You to Not to purchase Sony Products

                                    I purchased sony bravia 108 cm (43 inches) full hd smart led tv klv-43w772e (2017 model) and serial no.309877) on 2.10.2018 last month when the tv screen looked good, picture quality was also good. Now the tv screen is not clear from now on and currently the tv screen shows the blurring, brightness sharpness is also decreasing in the color of tv tv turns off when it runs, it takes time to turn on
                                    The distributor i bought from the tv was told my problem, but no solution was made by him nor any satisfactory answer was given. So, i request you please help me. I am very sad and depressed due to this kind of please. Send the engineer to your company as soon as possible, immediately improve the tv, i am doing a copy of the invoice and the scan copy of the warranty card with complaint.

                                      My name is sunil and i purchased new sony tv at rs 15000 on aug month. Due to some sound issue i registered one complaint in sony toll number on 9th nov. I had a very bad experience were sony asc spoke very rudely with me and her name is nisha from chember asc. I will not going to recommend anyone to buy sony products due to bad service. Really shame... My ticket number is 51245178. I have already posted negative blogs in fb..

                                      Technician visited with no resolution, blaming my set-up box for TV sound issue. My colleague, neighbour and friends using different new TV with same set-up box with no problem...really pathetic service...

                                      My want my money back...Rude behaviour + unable to resolve my issue...
