I bought a led 40w800d full android smart tv on 26.10.2016, dealer said that company provide 2 year warranty and their a scheme which you extended the warranty for 2 year more. Behalf on that bajaj finance book a extended charge for us and align extended warranty fpr 26.10.2018. Right i made a complaint regarding the issue but service centre said that sir 1 year manufacturing warranty and 2 years for panel warranty and you have too pay visiting charges i denied to pay, situation is that neither sony provide me a warranty or neither bajaj finance. Sony electronic lost my trust on sony product i never ever purchase or recommend to buy a sony products. Moreover dealer not provide the warranty card and try to bluffing with us with sony name brand.

    Dear sir,
    I have purchased an led tv 42w700b through corporate option of my esteemed company on 19th apr 15 at bhubneshwar on discounted price of rs 54500.00, at that time the market offer price was in 57-58k range, it was hanged on wall in may 16 in the house at jugsalai at jamshedpur jharkhand by sony representative and viewed occasionally pictures only by using pendrive or vcd, no set up box connections are taken due to our unavailability at this place and house due to my posting at jajpur orissa.

    On 24/06/2016, this tv was shifted and installed by electrokraft jamshedpur one of sony representative with a tata sky set up box connection for the first time, from this date this was running well approximately on all saturday and sunday as i was posted at jajpur and used to come to jamshedpur mostly on saturday and sunday,
    I have been transferred from jajpur orissa to jamshedpur from 01/10/2018 and since then it was running well and have been viewed continuously till 18/05/2018 and on 19/05/2018 it become out of order.
    After going through self trial, help from friends, trial was done to reset the same as suggested in instruction manual and complain was logged, the same was visited by local sony representative and pointed out that it panel is not ok and need replace ment and will cost approax rs 22000.00, any written estimate was not given till date, however many people from sony was contacted by us over phone and they insisted for revisit with an visit fee of rs 200 for each visit but they will not extend a reciept of rs 200.00 in sony pad.

    A) our submission is why a written estimate has not been given so far
    B) why it is out of order just after end of extended warranty, is it by design

    C) why it is out of period only after such a small hours of operation.

    D) being such a big corporate do they have any monitoring/online tracking/downloading from mother board unit regarding total running hours of individual unit if it is a smart tv with bravia wi fi facilities. Why the warranty should not be based on running hours in place of years.

    E) what is its system of product quality assurance and service level agreement system as its product price is on quite in upper side. \

      I am a premier member and unable to watch any of the premier shows as it is impossible to log on. Firstly the images in i am not a robot are of very poor quality and secondly it goes in a never ending loop and finally crashes with a message of computer or network issues and try again later. It never works... Even after hours... I made a mistake of purchasing a premier service. I use an ipad air

        Dear Team,

        I purchased TV ( SONY 108.0 CM Full HD KLV43W&&@E) on date 11 Oct 2107 and in Just 9 Month its volume gone then its display also gone. In starting we were thinking that some issue in signal network but once operator verify that there is no issue in signal then make complain in Sony customer care on 29 July. Engineer visited on 30 and told that its Mother board gone. Today they inform me that they will replace its motherboard. My humble request please replace my TV not motherboard earlier i have faced same issue and finally TV was scrapped and i sell my TV in 250 rupees.

          I bought the sony bravia klv 40w562d 40 inch smart full hd led with 1 year warranty on 17thmay 2017.
          26 april 2018, this tv started flickering and suddenly display was not working, only audio was playing. Once restart the tv it was working fine, this issue continuing, so i raised the request on 28th april 2018.

          The sony authorized technician (Mr. Ram) visited our place on 2nd may 2018. When he switched on the tv, it’s started working fine. He clicked few pictures and noted some points. He told us that “its purely panel issue, you have 2 years warranty for that, and i’ll raise this issue, you can change the panel anytime within 2 years free of cost”.
          Without our conformation, he closed this issue marking issue resolved. (This incident happened when the tv was under 1 year warranty period).
          22thjune 2018, the same issue appeared again (Flickering and suddenly display was not working) but on 23rd june 2018, as we switched on the tv, video was not working only audio was playing. We raised the complain again.
          The same technician (Mr. Ram) had visited my place on 27th june 2018. This time he dismantled the tv, clicked some more pictures and noted some things and told us again that “it’s the same tv panel issue, panel had 2 years warranty, the authorized sony service center engineer will come and replace it within 5 to 7 working days. He asked us rs. 350/- as visiting charges and told us that service center will send the receipt for rs. 350/- through my e mail id. Till date i did not receive this bill.
          Service center details: vigneshwar services, 64-66, 17th d main road, 6th block, koramangala, bengaluru, karnataka 560095 (Authorized sony service center).

          We did not receive any updates. We call the same technician (Mr. Ram) on the 5th day (3rd july 2018) he told us that “i’ve updated the complain and the service center will call you once they receive the new panel”. I was waiting for the call.
          After 2 days (5th july 2018) again i called the technician (Mr. Ram), he did not pick the call.
          Next day (6 july 2018) we called him again, he said “i’m on leave, i’ll wont able to help you, i’ll call you on monday.
          Monday (9th july 2018) we called him 4 times. 4th time he picked and said “the service center has received the new tv panel, they will send the engineer to fix it. We were again waiting for their call, but no one called us.
          1 day later (11th july 2018) we called him again 3 times, 3rd time he received and said “the engineer is on leave, i’ll check with the service center and call you back”. We were waiting again
          We did not get any call, so we called him 2 time (12th july 2018) he did not pick our call.in between we called several times to the authorized sony service center and every time they told us that “the engineer will visit your place today”. So we believed and were waiting for the engineer to come. They were just fooling us and skipping the issue.
          By this time we were extremely frustrated as this was the 3rd week after the technician had visited my place and nothing was happening after that. We called sony customer support and explained the issue. The executive told me “i check the status with the service center and call you”. (Costumer support executive: kritika)
          Again we were waiting. 16 july 2018, we called the service center 4 time! No one picked the call 5th time they pick and told “we have received the panel, the engineer will visit your place today.” no one called nor visited our place for replacing the tv panel.
          17 july 2018, we called the service center 2 times. 2nd time they received the call and again they told us “today the engineer will visit your place”. They did not conform on the engineers visit so we called sony costumer support and informed again on this issue. Evening we got a call from the service center they gave us the engineer’s phone number. They did not tell the name of the engineer and just cut the call. We called the engineer (Mr. Christopher) and checked with him, it was good talking to him, he told us to get the tv to service center.
          As per our convenience we got the tv to service center on 21st july 2018. On 24th july 2018 we got a call from service center saying “the tv panel is fine, we have to replace the mother board. It will cost you rs. 6500/-”.
          We immediately called the sony costumer support (Costumer support executive: prabha) and informed about this. We also told that customer is not responsible for paying the repair expenses as the this tv is a defective sony product, and there is no proper support or guidance given to the customer from the sony within the warranty time. As per the records, the tv had this same issue in the warranty period, the sony authorized technician was not qualified enough to understand that it is a mother board and not the panel issue and simply marking issue resolved without our conformation. The customer support executive told us that “we will ask the service center to resolve this issue free of cost and we will arrange a call back for you from the service center”.
          The same day we got a call from the same technician (Mr. Ram) and he started convincing us he told that “almost 80% of these tv’s now have panel problem, so i thought it is a panel issue”. Also he was continuously telling and explaining that the time of visiting the tv was working fine. He was not in state to understand that tv had had continues issue from past 2 days, and so we raised the request. He is not qualified enough to understand the symptoms and giving proper guidance and solutions. He also asked us to “please pay the amount or else they will deduct it from my salary”. We were really shocked to know this!
          Next day 25th july 2018, we call the sony costumer support and explained this conversation. They said they will check with the service center and will give a call back. We were again waiting. (Costumer support executive: deepanjali)
          We got a call from service center on 26th july 2018. They told us “the tv panel is fine. The problem is with the mother board. So we replaced the mother board. After replacing the mother board the tv still has some issues, so we need 2 day for observation”. After this call i called the sony costumer support and told the above conversation. (Costumer support executive: krishna)
          This was so weird and felt so misery to know that “sony” quality can get so poor. These many issues! That the “sony authorized engineers” them-self finding it so difficult to understand and rectify the problem? God bless. This is what sony india talks about their brand?
          1 more week got over keeping our worries blurred. So we called sony costumer support on 28th july 2018. The executive told us to wait till monday. (Costumer support executive: gitanjali)
          Yesterday evening 30th july 2018 we called to sony costumer support again to know what is the new issue found in the tv. When it will get resolved and when can i get the tv in proper working condition. I did not get any updates on this and so the sony costumer support (Mr. Jay) told us to write our concerns to the management and gave us the e mail address.
          I have few questions and i expect the answer for the same.
          1. We eagerly bought sony bravia tv. Within a year before warranty completion it started giving so many issues. This is what the quality of sony brand?

          2. Even after explaining and checking the issues. The sony authorized technician are not capable enough to understand the symptom and give proper solution or guidance. Is your technician qualified enough or they are hired just for the sake?

          3. If at all the technician was not sure about the problem/ not able to understand the problem, why didn’t he suggested us to take the tv to the service center. Instead of simply assuming and telling things. Is it like customers are forced to pay for the servicing and spare parts once they move out of the warranty period and then they are explained the actual issues?

          4. After raising the complain, on 23rd day we were told to get the tv to the service center. All these 23 days we was continuously calling the technician, service center, sony customer support for the help, and every time they were trying to skip/ postpone. Till now we don’t have clarity. Is this a punishment given to the customer for selecting sony brand?

          5. When this issue was raised (Under warranty period), it was not resolved that time.
          So the same issue occurred the second time (Warranty period completed). Without taking the conforming from the customer, why the issue was closed marking “resolved”?
          I here request to please clarify all my quarries and please give make justice to your customer who bought sony product with such eager and love. I expect that my issue get resolved free of cost and i can get my tv in proper working condition as soon as possible.

          The audio is hearing but there Video is not seeing . At first the T.v left side of the Screen the black strips came. Then it covered the full screen . I request you to repair the TV

            I have bought sony 32" led tv, model code - klv32w512d, chasis no. 4047836 in june 2016. The tv is having some display problem since few days. It automatically goes into demo mode (Loop) and flashes options like w51d, x - reality pro, you tube, wife certified, built in woofer, photo sharing plus. X protection pro and finally gets stuck with x-reality pro option asking for yes or no and splits the display in two half with half in custom - mode of picture and the other in viviv - mode of picture. Even after manually choosing, it goes into demo mode again and again. Please advise regarding the same or send a technician to resolve the isssue.

              I kastu Devi nagori, request you to pay attention to my severe problem I buy TV from sales corner vadodara .

              But during short period many problem arises sometimes the whole screen display is black. We have complain on your call center no. also .

              We bought this costly product so no future investment arrives. But in short duration only the Display Is OFF. It appears fully blank only sounds come from it. We complain twice on your call center no. then they sent engineer He said the severe problem occurred in the Panel. Today they informed us that they have to change the Panel and it will cost to us RS. 9, 750 after buying your so much costly product this is in affordable to us.

              We buy the product on behalf of your company image there are many low cost product in the market but we have invested a large sum of money in your company's product relying on you. Now only after two and half year this problem arrises.

              This will effect your Goodwill and Faith in your product. So I request you to kindly consider my problem under FOC scheme. So that our faith in your product maintain.

              After investing RS. 55, 000 on TV we can't afford RS 10, 000 more in short duration. We don't know whether the product is faulty or not.
              Do favor us and consider our problem genuinely and replace our product or repair it. Attached purchase bill.

                I have unfortunately purchased sony product though good one but unable to comprehend/ understand company policies to not hand over all the attachments in this case wall bracket to the customer. I understand from your company representative policies do not allow for the same. If this is the way sony works i would like to switch over to other companies who do not have such policies.

                The company should not have policies like not to hand over the product and its attachment in full one the product has been bought by the buyer. Just because they want to control customer behaviour and customer should have freedom to use the product without liability to the company. A

                As in my case when i am calling then installation centre and customer care my issue could not be resolved.

                  My product has some some issues with the pixel board and we had notified it to to the service center but they aren't taking any heed to repair our tv. We are fed up with this regular rejection and we want our product to be repaired soon and at least send a person to check the issue. This it just being irresponsible on the part of the customer care.

                      This is to inform you that i had purchased a sony tv model no kdl 43w800d from m/s umang dibrugarh on 29.06.2018, after 2 to 3 months the tv stopped working and i complaint about this to the service center and they had send their service engineer mr manoj and he came and saw that the curcuit is not working so they changed the whole curcuit nd it again started working.
                      But again today on 28 07 2018 the tv stopped working,
                      Please i want to ask you one thing that are you people selling goods of low quality, how can a tv costing r s 58000 and of so reputed company can brake down 2 times in a span of 1 year, i am very much unsatified with quality of sony,

                      Please look into the matter seriously and replace my tv set with another good quality tv or return my money or else i have to knock the door of law and consumer court.

                          I have purchased led tv model name klv-40w562d on dated 01/06/2018 from your dealer m/s kumar enterprises, madia katra, agra. After 2 days led problem start and i called your customer care no. And the technician check the problem and he said replace for penal of led or said that this model is not available in company this time please replace other model and give about rs. 7000/- but i want to replace against this model or refund my amount.                             I had brought sony smart led tv klv32w562d on27/07/2016 which had warranty of one year, know it exact 2 year from of purchase my tv is not working properly i had complaint to yr service center, engineer came to my place and said that yr led panel is faulty and need a replacement which may cost about rs. 17000 which half the cost of my purchase. I had purchase sony tv as it is reputed company and good performance but know i m totally disappointed of yr products

                              I purchased a sony power bank few months ago, it was working fine, but now it is not getting charged. I left it charging overnight for approx 10 hours but it charged only about 30% it is mentioned as fast charging power bank in the description. I am very disappointed by the company's service. I am a practicing advocate in tis hazari court, delhi. And i seek help as being a consumer of flipkart and protection under consumer protection act.

                                Hi,

                                I have sony bravia model no - kdl-46w950a. From couple of days red light is blinking on my television and it gets shut down.

                                When contacted the service center (Raja electronics, pune) the engineer visited and suggested that the full panel needs to be replaced as sony does not provide parts for the damaged ones.

                                The cost for the panel suggested is 36000, i don't think its wise to invest this amount where in only the damaged part can be replaced. This way sony as a brand is cheating on us.

                                Please suggest a solution for this, when i read your article it says that for 4 times red light blinking, the problem seems to be with the power adapter.

                                  I am sandeep kamble, had purchased sony bravia 4k led/kd-43x8200e tv on 20th may 2018 from radhika pimpri.
                                  After few days there was a reboot automatically tv.
                                  I raised a complaint for replacement now they are saying we cant replace, after few days our engineers replacement a motherboard.
                                  Then i got same issue again and again.

                                  I need a replace of tv. I was given a defect tv where reboot, sound and screen gone everything can go

                                    I had paided by online at [protected]@gmail.com in favour of sony sony.. I m not getting positive response from consumer care / service complaint.. How much time i should wait for this thing?
                                    Is there any problem, pls let me know or direct say we want do this service.. We just fake people by saying we had s rvice after ur thing of sony brand get spoiled...??

                                    I need the positive response from sony company.. Or i will raise to consumer forum... I will wait for couple days more within this month end...

                                      Since sony is the best brand of my choice.. I thinks the same is with every one... I just brought a 32inch bravia led tv...4yrars ago... With lots of dreams and believes... But now the bad that came is my thrust has gone... Since sony is such a huge company with a 4 years of life span of my tv... The tv got complaint.. The repair charge of the tv is inconvenient to me because... The tv was for a short time because my dream was not accomplished.. And i used to suggest this brand to my friends but now how can i... If this happen to me because i am sony buyer.. I am telling all this inoder to ask you that will u do anything favour of me??? Since now a days many small brands offers tv with the same repair cost of this brand.. Including 5 year warranty.. So is there any thing that you can do for me.. I still trust sony.. That's why am asking you for the solution

                                        Purchased sony 7500e in april and on 90july stopped working. It has issue with display. Logged complaint on 10th july.. Since then customer service kept on saying part is ordered... No eta.. Not sure how many weeks months they will take.
                                        Cant imagine few weeks of time to repair it. Good that it happened in warranty period..
                                        Will never recommend sony due to its pathetic service. Never expected this kind of service.. Otherwise could have chosen indian brand.
