Dear Sirs,
I made a voice call to your customer care this morning and informed them that although my subject TV is functioning very decently, the remote switch of the same has stopped funcioning.
I was referred to Sony Centre at Techno Plaza situated at CD-95, Salt Lake, Kolkata, WB. I presented the subject remote switch as per request og M/s. Techno Plaza and after examining the same they informed me that they have no stock of Remote Switch type RM-GAO11W. I requested them to place a requisition to you for supplying the same at your end, but they informed that such type of requisition can not be made from their end.
I am requesting you to be customer friendly and provide the remote on cost charges. I expect that you should not ecourage for discardin one Tv running in good condition for want of a remote switch. An early response shall be highly appreciated.

    I have purchased Sony 40W562D from M/s. Vardhman Electronics, Uttam Nagar on 18.06.2017. From the last one month SonyLiv application is not functioning on my internet TV. I have lodged number of complaints on your customer care number but to no avail.       My kdl-42w900b model sony led tv display panel is damaged. On enquiry with service centre we were asked to submit estimate amount and further enquiry will be done. On doing so sony give estimate of 26000 rupees and said display panel is not available now and gave a new offer of 25% discount on new buying. But i am not able to buy a new led tv and want my same tv display to be changed.

        I made a complaint as the product was not working. I got a complaint no 41949572 dated 8.9.17. This complaint was assigned to happy home services located at indradhanu market, bhubaneswar. This was dealt in very half hazard and casual way. Finally i paid a certain amount to replace the old one with new product after more than one month. I have to pay for cost of transport and delivery too while i not only missed viewing tv for more than a month even while i was paying to the transmission service provider.

        I was so much fed up that i wrote to the chairman of sony because i use so many products of sony. Some times later i got a call from some senior person of sony and to him i explained my issues and he assured that the matter will be resolved. About three weeks back i got a call that some amount will be refunded (He could not tell how much) and i was asked to give my full name in which a cheque will be issued. Since then i have not heard anything. I am really disappointed and wonder if sony is no more what it claims to be. Can i get this addressed finally?

          Dear sir/ma'am,

          I am a regular buyer and user of sony entertainment products.
          I am a proud owner of sony music system mhc v6d. Recently on 21st december 2017, when i was listening to its music, suddenly black smoke started coming out of the back panel of the device. The fan at the back probably was running on its highest speed with accelerating sound and more and more smoke started coming. I immediately pushed off the home mains mcb. After sometime, i switched on the mcb, and then re-plugged the music system, but it didn't run. I got shocked. The system got burnt from inside.

          I logged a complaint at sony customer support vide id 44730216 on 23rd december 2017.in the evening, mr. Rajesh (Technical expert from j p electronics, vaishali sector 4 - sony service centre, [protected]) arrived with his colleague at my residence to check the instrument. He opened the equipment and found that the capacitor is burnt and some liquid is scattered on the pcb.

          The expert told me that, due to over voltage, the capacitor got burnt. Then when i asked, what for fuse are. They should first protect the circuit.
          So there was no answer.

          The equipment costs me 30000 rupees of my hard earned money. I am really disappointed, if systems from sony are designed in such lousy manner then where we should believe now.

          I also had discussed myself with the customer care executives and one time there technical expert have also called me, but nobody was able to justify that there was no adequate safety arrangement in the circuit. Anytime it can burn, without blowing of fuse and can cause fatal accident in the house and family. I live in the society/apartments where many people stay in a building. If fire breaks put then there may be much of a distruction.
          Now i am emailing them regularly, but they are not resolving the issue.
          I need immediate intervention please.

          We are great fans of Ye un dino ki baat hai & Poras. Everytime we get to see back previous serials but your channel is not responding.

          Please look into the matter urgently as many people like us cannot see their favourite serials

            Purchased on: 01 october 2014
            I bought sony led klv-32r482b television on 1st october 2014. And now after 38 months, it stopped working. I called the customer care and a technician was appointed. Without even inspecting the set and generating a bill of inr 250/- (I mean seriously? You can do that without touching the tv?) he told me that the 6 red led blinks means faulty backlights and display problem. I was told by the technician that the display and the backlights need to be replaced and it would cost me around inr 4500/- for each backlight strips (Depending on how many strips must have damaged) and the display screen would cost me another inr 14000/-. Since i had to arrange this huge amount in short time i requested the technician that i myself will get the tv to the service center. Later after a week, i went to the sony service center (Nishant enterprises) located in borda, margao, goa to inquire more about the damage. Here at the counter, i was told that the replacement would cost me approx. Inr 11500/- (Including all charges) and i also got to know that there is nothing to do with the backlights of this tv. Here at the service center, i was also informed that if the spare parts (Display screen) is in stock then i would get a 1-year warranty on it after replacement for the display and if there is any shortage of the stocks then sony will replace the tv set with the running model in the similar price range with the same amount as to be paid for the replacement of display (I. E. Inr 11500/- approx.) along with 3 year warranty on the television set where advance payment of inr 2500/- will be used as extended warranty.
            There is one more instance where the warranty was about to get over and in the month of september 2015, i could see these multicolored horizontal lines and double images on the screen and i happened to call customer care and spoke to one of your technical support representatives, he told me that those problems are due to dth connections and not an issue regarding the screen. So, now! Is this a trick sony is trying to play on the innocence of the customer? I have read people complaining about the same issues on various complaint forums and social media and sony is mentally and financially harassing these customers. Instead, sony wants us to pay more for the manufacturing defect they have been hiding and making more money from it. Sony being one of the most trusted brands has disappointed me and many other customers. I trusted the brand sony more than other brands and now i have to pay for the trust that i have put on sony.

              Hi, i would like to make a complaint against sony center where i bought new 49" tv. Date purchased: 23/12/2017. Invoice 881. Sales man told me that with this tv you also get 1 tb hard drive free. They haven't given me the hard drive still today. I called them on 6/1/2017 at 2pm and told them that i was so happy to buy new tv and on that day i forgot to get the hard drive. But they said they don't have any hard drive means they don't have any stock of hard drive otherwise they will give me. I checked with other sony center (Dumas road center) as well where they confirmed that sony company is giving hard drive with this tv so you must be eligible to get hard drive. I strongly believe that staff inside sony center are selling this free hard drive to other customers and making money out from it and not giving free hard drive to actual customer who is eligible to get it.
              This type of activity and behavior is not acceptable by staff in sony center where customer is being treated unfairly. I really appreciate if you can help me solve this problem. Regards

                Even after visiting several times to sony service center saharanpur u. P. The center operator did not entertain my problem and keep harassing mentally for several weeks even though i had proper bill and required documents regarding phone. I bought z5 premium 5 months back and by showing redtapism center operators degrading the name of sony. I want that sony co. Should teach those center operators a lesson so that they do not harass their customers.
                Complain is against s. V. Enterprises, haqiqat nagar, saharanpur u. P.

                  This is nirav patel from ahmedabad i am using sony xa ultra and i was facing a problem in its touch for which i suppose to restart my phone every 5 days and for that i have visited service center for 4 to 5 times they have initially changed the touch then again changed the gouch then made forcefuk software changes then changed the motherboard... After the last visit i got a new problem as a gift on the previous one which is not still solved the new problem is that the music application itself continously changes the songs without playing it for this problem as per the customer care executive i have restarted my phone as i am doing it every 5 days and also cleared the data but the problem remains the same so i would like to congratulate sony for giving me such a grate problems and trouble... And sorry for the sony as it has lost it customer in future... As well as i will not suggest any one else again thanks sony for what you have done

                    I had purchased a sony tv model led kdl-32ex520 on 28.3.2012 from ms. Esjee&co. Trichur (The authorized sony dealer) vide invoice no. 904339 dt.28.3.2012. The tv was in regular use ever since in my house at 145, mannuthy house, west hill, kuriachira trichur 680006, kerala. Of late ts has been showing malfunction but way of horizontal and vertical lines on the display. The complaint was registered with sony service on 4.12.2017 and the service request id 44364552 was assigned to access electronics trichur, your authorised service provider on 4.12.2017. I visited the service provider on 4.12.2017 and subsequently the service mechanic mr. Bibin was in contact with me and was told that the panel replacement is being organised by ms access electroncis and the cost would be rs.15, 000/- which i agreed. But on 3.1.2018 i was told that the replacement panel is not available and the possible option is by replacement by a new tv at the cost of the panel. But later i was told the since my tv has been purchased more than 5 years back, that option is not available and only a 25% discount on the new tv that i may select. But this is a very costly option, i will not be able to accede to this suggestion. I would request you to either replace the panel or provide a new replacemet of my tv for which i will pay only the replacement cost of the panel of rs.15, 000/-.                       At the outset this is to inform that i bought a product led 55x8200e on 26 dec 17 from reliance digital at ambience mall, vasant kunj, new delhi.
                      The scheme offered by you included a six month subscription to netflix @4800 rupees.
                      The tv was delivered on 27 dec 17 and the box did not contain the coupon of netflix, nor did the person installing the same talk about it.
                      On 1 jan 17, i spoke to reliance digital and took me 48 hours before they asked me to speak to sony customer care who said that the offer has expired on 31 dec 17 and i should have spoken earlier. Mr ravi who i spoke to asks me that i should have contacted you earlier; but only if i was told earlier or you are not responsible but reliance digital is.
                      No one told me that offer is expiring on 31 dec 17 or one would have done the same accordingly.
                      It has been a deal in bad taste with sony, to say the least.
                      Request confirm the next step at your level as as the tv was purchased before 31 dec 17, i am entitled for the deal. If you want to coordinate with reliance digital that is you to do and if you people want to shift blames, i have no time for it.
                      Look forward to hearing positive inputs from you.

                        Dear sir,
                        I am writing to bring to your attention the extremely unsatisfactory service which i have received from your sony authorized service centre, f1 info solutions & services pvt. Ltd., at 208, 2nd floor, ashok bhawan 93, nehru place, delhi 110002. More specifically, from one mr mukesh, who apparently runs the centre.
                        Our tv (Model no. Klv-40w55oa) stopped working as the set did not come on after pressing the power button. We had registered a complaint (Ccc id: 44709964 dated 22.12.2017), after which a person came to our residence to check the tv. Since the tv did not come on, he assumed that it was the mother board which was defective, without bothering to open the tv or conduct any further check. For this he charged us rs. 300/- for which no receipt was issued.
                        (I may mention that last time our tv had the same problem, in november 2015, an engineer had come from a. P. Network services (Sony’s then authorized service centre). He had opened the tv in our house, checked the fault and informed us in detail about his findings. Thereafter 2 transistors and fuse were replaced, for which we were charged rs. 2, 262/-. We were given an estimate of what the repair work would cost before taking away the tv and the final bill tallied with this estimate.
                        Our tv was picked up by 2 boys from f1 info on 25.12.2017. These boys were smelling very badly and had obviously not washed in a while; not at all the kind of service we expect from an international brand like sony. Thereafter, there was complete silence from f1 info; numerous telephone calls to their telephone number[protected] went unanswered and were not picked up.
                        I had also visited the sony website to check the repair status of the tv. This was singularly unhelpful, merely stating that the tv was being serviced, with no further details.
                        Finally, i complained to the sony service centre this morning (02.01.2018). Shortly afterwards, fi info called and said that they would need to place an order for a new mother board, which may take over 20 days to come. They quoted a sum of nearly rs. 15, 000/- for the repair work and also said that the guarantee would only be for 3 months for the new mother board.
                        When i enquired as to why they had not bothered to contact me or even pick up my numerous telephone calls, mr. Mukesh had no explanation; he simply said that the engineer had informed him only this morning about the need for a new mother board. Obviously, fi info was acting only in response to my complaint to the sony service centre.
                        Thereafter, i told him that i did not want the mother board to be replaced and that the tv should be returned to my residence. I also requested him to send an engineer to open the tv and show me the fault in the original mother board. He refused to do this and said that i would have to go his office at nehru place if i wanted the tv to be opened.
                        I have lived in numerous foreign countries and have served as ambassador of india to qatar & poland, as well as high commissioner of india to malaysia & canada. My wife and i have been loyal customers of the sony brand and have used sony televisions throughout. We have previously never had any problem with sony products or services.
                        We are deeply disappointed with the level of after sales and repair services and complete lack of communication from your current authorized service centre.
                        I hope that the sony company will take cognizance of this complaint and ensure that customer after sales service is improved and brought in line with the high reputation which sony enjoys internationally and in india.

                          Sonyliv is the worst website ever. I am a big fan offer un dino ki baat hai and whenever i am trying to reach sonyliv app it shows that server is unreachable. It have been showing server unreachable for past few weeks that is why i couldn't see the episodes of ye un dino ki baat hai... Plzzzzzz improve this or upload the entire episode of ye un dino ki baat hai on youtube... Otherwise provide another website for the episodes..
                          I entered my details. Got debited 120 from my bank account. But it showed error on the payment page and wont let me see premium
                          I want to play dus ka dum but the application is saying server unreachable . Please try to improve this as soon as possible.
                          I want to see my favorite serial ye un dinon ki bat hai...but server is not reachable..plzzz try to improve this soon as possible

                            I purchased sony bravia tv "32" lcd klv-32bx320 inm in october 2011 from sony authorized dealer mahalaxmi electronic, junagadh, gujarat pin code 362001.

                            I suddenly got picture problem in my tv and some time its on some time not on.

                            I took my tv to sony customer service on 21/12/2017. They inform me that its panel need to be replaced. It will cost around 8500/- inr, on which i agreed. After couple of days they informed me that this panel is not available at company and they give me a option to purchase any new sony tv with 25 % discount on price. I selected 40" klv-r352e full hd model. They mentioned me price of new tv 45990/- inr and with 25% discount its price will 34425/- inr.
                            But when i approched to local authorized dealer for verification of its real price, dealer is giving me same tv at costing of 41, 000/- inr. It clearly means if i purchase new tv from our service centre the price will 45990/- inr and same thing is available in market at 41000/- inr. If we deduct 25% discount from this market price, new tv should cost me 29435/- inr. Means factual discount as buy back is only just 4990/- inr.
                            Two things i will like to put in your knowledge. One is that global brand like sony should always repair their products because whenever anyone purchase sony, means he is paying 10k to 15k more than other brands in market. And second thing if you are unable to repair your product you should make reasonable, genuine & satisfactory buyback options.
                            I have full trust on sony brand. I discussed similar matter at our customer care number. They advised me to make a email in this regard. Kindly suggest me what should i do in this matter. My corespondence details are as under.

                              I purchased sony bravia tv "32" led 32r482
                              In february 06, 2015 and from august 2017 suddenly got problem in tv and some time its on some time not on.

                              I make a complaint to sony customer service, and a engineer come and inform me its ok and take service charge and go back
                              But after approx. 01 week same problem occur again and i contact again sony customer care. And this time engineer come and inform me he take tv with him at service center at varanasi and i will agree. He take tv and go on dated. 20th october 2017. And from that day to today i can't get my tv and after my follow up they are telling me my tv screen is damaged and new part not available. And demanding me for dd of 12000/- for exchanging my tv.
                              If my tv is not damaged with me and all fault of engineer and service center then why i pay 12000/-.

                              How disgusting service this is and disgusting service center authorized by sony tv. Means there is nowhere a trust on sony.

                              I am facing this problem from last 04 to 05 months, please help and support me from out of this...

                              I have mailed my concern several times to your customer relation employees regarding cheat and fraud of Sony registered and authorized Service Centre M/s Libra Technicom, Varanasi.

                              But I don’t get genuine solutions from Sony customer relation employees and neither had I got my Sony BRAVIA TV. Which I given to engineers of M/s Libra Technicom, Varanasi for a little problem.

                              I am asking for genuine solution from October 2017 but don’t get solution till now.

                              Requesting you, please support to get information regarding my concern:

                              · When I handover TV without any physical/ external damage to engineers of Sony registered/ authorized service center, Why they mentioned in my Job reference “Display Broken”?

                              · Where is the video clip which create by engineers of Sony registered/ authorized service center?

                              · Why engineers of Sony registered/ authorized service center, damage/ broke my TV screen intentionally?

                              · Why sony people don’t take any action against your engineers, and want to save him. When they do fraud and damage/ broke my TV screen intentionally?

                              · Why Service Centre demanding me for money, when my TV screen not damaged by me?

                              I am requesting you, please support regarding my concern after verification of video clip which create by engineers of Sony registered/ authorized service center and understand my problem.

                              Please take corrective action against M/s Libra Technicom, Varanasi and resolve my problem….

                              Waiting for positive and genuine solution!

                                Hi sony team, i have purchased sony w80d 43' lcd tv on 12th september 2016 with lot of expectations and reliability on this brand but after just one year my tv is under brakedown for colors strips on screen and nothing visible. Tv kept at same place where its installed by sony person. This is really big question mark on the reliability of product. Customer is paying so much money on big brands and they are cheating customers. I need replacement against this failed products. My complaint no. Is 44852562

                                  Kind attention is invited towards our complaints regarding repair of our sony led model no klv 32r422b set no 3419860.
                                  The complaint numbers are as under 44434660, 44847169 and many more.
                                  The warrantee of the product is to be expired feb 2018. Inspite of our several complaints as given may be also highlighted that engineers comes to attend our complaints and fixed the problem temporarily which again goes out of order within 2 to 3 days. It indicates that the product of highly reputed firm was not good. It is highly painful to say that the product of a highly reputed firm was defective from the date of its installation which is undesirable question mark against firm like sony.
                                  In this regard we have already approached the concern officers of sony from lower level to senior level but their attitude was not cooperative towards consumers which seems to be not good sign on the part of sony.
                                  In view of the above mention facts you are requested to kindly look into the matter personally and provide the replacement of the product immediately so that i may not approach the legal process. Also fing the attachment of last service.

                                    My tv is not working due to panel problem and whole family is waiting for new tv to view new year 2018 program’s. As per demand from local sony authorise service centre we have submitted draft for c/s price for 65” oled sony tv but we have not received till date.
                                    May i request to arrange for the installlation of tv before 31 st dec2017...?

                                      I have purchased sony bravia klv-48r482b led tv, 48" from sony digital showroom, vijayawada-andhra pradesh in february 2015. Now i am working near kurnool, ap. Last week tv display is coming with lines shadows. Hence i registered complaint/service through customer care. Service engineer visited/inspected tv on 25/12/17 and told tv panel was damaged and panel needs replacement, which costs around 30, 000 rs. I have spent 76, 000rs and purchased sony a brand master tv. But served only 2 years 9 months. I am feeling very bad with sony tv performance. Why sony design not taken care of inbuilt safety sytems, to protect tv.

                                        I have made a complaint regarding repair of my sony led tv which is in the warranty period in the month of november'2017 and got a message from your customer service center as my request was registered with id.44153927 dt.23.11.2017. But still no body was attended to the work. Again i got a message today to my mobile as your request is registered with id.44719773 dt.23.12.17. Pl. Direct your staff to attend the work as already two months has passed after making complaint.
