Bought 42 LED model # 700 b for Rs 60, 000 just last week . The TV is emanating electric shocks . Electrician tested socket, says earthing is fine and TV is faulty . Made complaint to Reliance and Sony - diverted to Srikara Marketing Req ID 22461348 . It is 3 days since the complaint is made . We are yet to receive a technician . Can someone help ? As far as I am concerned, Sony India's aggressive marketing is backed with an extremely casual attitude of consumer service . Anyways, why should they care ? We are helpless consumers .     To our misfortune, last week, we bought a Sony 42 LED TV for Rs 60, 000 model # 700B from Reliance . To our utter dismay, On touching the TV, we are experiencing Electric Shocks. Had the socket tested from electrician, the earthing is fine . Says TV is faulty . Gave a complaint on Monday itself to Reliance who conveniently diverted to Sony Customer Service - Srikara Marketing, Hyderabad . Request ID : 22461348 . It is 3 days, we have yet to receive a technician, despite numerous phone calls to both Reliance and Sony . A far as Sony is concerned, sell the TV, and let the consumer suffer !!! Who cares ???       I BOUGHT THIS MOBILE ON 8 OCT AND AFTER A WEEK ALMOST THE TROUBLES STARTED RISING. THE SPEAKER DOESNT WORK, BACKSPACE BUTTON IS NOT WORKING, THE MOBILE IS VERY SLOW. I COMPLAINED TO THE SHOP I HAD BOUGHT IT FROM. BUT THEY ARE SAYING THERE IS A HARDWARE PROBLEM, WHICH CANT BE REPAIRED, AND IT HAS TO BE REPLACED. ITS RERALLY DISAPPOINTING, AND I REALLY WANT THE REPLACEMENT.

        This company manufactures phones by xperia name in India I purchased a phone model number D5322 purple T2ULTRA DUOS which had very low class functions ... And even it hang many times and it started malfunctioning within 3 months from the date of purchase Camera says 13 megapixel but works worse than 5 megapixel Battery doesn't work more than a day Phone processor is a low class malfunctioning one and it has dull voice call or video call experience Please help me out

          days passed..we called up frequently for enquiry..
          *the technician will call you..(call end...even when person speaking)
          *the part has not been arrived.
          same answers all time
          a month passed and the part still not arrived..casualness/ignorance
          we took the machine without your KIND service
          this staff, and technicians are not healthy for future we wish to have a look on this centre

            I have purchased xperia c purple On 24 october. Not a month Has gone and my mobile started creating problem. Not a single problem, there are plenty of problems occured within a month. Its camera is installed with 8.1 mp but captured like a 2 megapixels camera. Wifi not working. Slide bar o home screen not working. At the time Of purchase the stamina mode was properly working but now, nothing happens. I have spend 16000 rupees for this mobile and your technicians said to me that it has to be repaired. Please replace My mobile otherwise I have to move for consumer court.

              I would like to lodge a complaint against Sony India. I have purchased the mobile of model : sony xperia m dual, a year back. The whole set of mobile with accessories started creating problem. Following are the problems started within a month in sequence: 1. charger chord was not working and hence got replaced. 2. mobile started hanging. 3. mobile lost its sound. 4. mobile was not getting automatically update. All these happened in a month and my purchase being in warranty period was considered. At the very same time I had asked them to check it thoroughly. They assured me that nothing will happen.I went again to show that some of the applications are not working properly. They assured me that the problems will get sorted on next update. Now my mobile has generated a new problem which is, its not working anymore. You cannot unlock, switch off, receive calls, make calls, etc. Now my date of warranty has expired, and I have to bear the expenses that could have been recovered in the warranty period. I would like you to please consider my grievances as I am assuming that since I had purchased this mobile online so I must have been allotted a defective mobile set and accessories.                 I purchased a Sony TV from Croma retail, Kailash colony, delhi in 2011. On 12th Nov'14 I lodged a complaint for a defect in picture quality of my Sony TV. I received a revert of the same on 17/11/14 and the service center said that they will pick up my product on 18/11/14. today is 19/11/14 and these service center guys are saying that they will come on 20/11/14. I do not understand that why is there a delay in the service provided by Sony. I have already registered several queries on customer care for the same but noone has reverted back. I dont even know if my product will be picked up or not by Sony Service center guys on 20/11/14. I need a quick and proper resolution of this issue as it has already carved a bad image for Sony in my mind. I had no idea that Sony provides such bad after Sales service. Disappointed

                  I had purchased Sony Xperia ZL on January 15, 2014 from SONY Centre, Mira Road (East) based on the brand name ‘SONY’ associated with it. After some days I noticed some problem with the phone camera (which was supposedly from beginning). Hence, on January 31, 2014 I visited Sony Service After checking the phone (job no: W[protected] I was provided with another handset only after 15 days from the date of my submission and continuous follow up. I was not sure that the same was a fresh handset or a refurbished one. On Tuesday, October 21, 2014 my phone had again developed some problem and it would not start. Hence on Saturday October 25, 2014 I took the phone to Sony Service Centre situated (job no: W[protected]. To my surprise I was told that as per their records the replaced handset provided to me (as mentioned above) had an older manufacturing date and that the warranty should have been expired. it took them almost 6 days to update the same. I received a call (after follow ups) on October 30, 2014 that the warranty has been approved by Company and that they can check the phone. On reading the job sheet in detail I noticed that it states the condition as 'Scratched'. However, I have been using my phone delicately and have always used a Flip Cover, Hence there is not even a single scratch on the phones body. Request you to please note the same. On October 31, 2014 I am been informed that they have ordered for another handset. I have been told that the handset will be a refurbished one. Hence I requested the service centre to provide me a new handset instead of refurbished one. I was told that this is not the policy and still If I want a new handset I need to pay additional amount. Even after continuous follow ups through email and phone I am not been provided with a fresh handset (without paying). I have also requested them to kindly return my money. But they are not agreeing. I feel that if I am provided with a refurbished handset the same will again have problem, as I have faced in the earlier one and the same will be reparable at a cost as my phone will be out of warranty after a couple of months. I have already had problems twice. Hence I request SONY to kindly provide me with a fresh Handset. So that I can enjoy the beautiful phone designed by my favorite brand “SONY”. I had bought Xperai ZL only due to the brand name ‘SONY’ associated with it from the authorized centre of ‘SONY’ which proves my brand loyalty. I hope a global and trusted brand like SONY’ will understand my side and consider my request of providing with a fresh handset.

                    Hi Team, This is to bring to your notice that the New Mobile Sony Experia C3 that I had purchased a couple of weeks ago has been broken after it fell off the edge of the table while it was ringing as it was in Vibrating mode. I am really disappointed to tell that the mobile from a renowned brand like Sony got damaged real bad. The only reason to purchase a Sony Mobile was due to the fact that they have good “After Sales Service”. To make matters worse, I was denied support at the Sony Service Center stating that it is a physical damage. However, In this case, I have not dropped it; but the mobile fell off the edge of the table while ringing. Therefore, I strongly feel that this should be addressed under warranty and help me get a replacement as the device was not able to withstand a normal fall off the table. This is not acceptable that I was denied support straight away even before completely listening to my version. If this kind of customer service is delivered by Sony, I would never ever purchase a Sony Product and would never recommend it to any of the my acquaintances.                       Hello Sony India, Being the best in the market and a brand reputation in itself, I expected Sony India to really give excellent service. However it took me by my surprise that being a multi-national company it did not stood by its SLA and commitment. I had requested a technician to come to my house to repair my Sony Home Theater system (model # - HBD-DZ340K) on Saturday evening and I was told that a technician will visit me within 2 working days. Keeping Sunday being off so I was expecting someone to visit me on Monday or Tuesday. I also took time out to call customer care and check couple of times since I was told the technician will call before coming. Today is Tuesday 10:43 pm as I type this complaint that no one has come to my house to repair my system or even bothered to call to say that there will be delay. Tomorrow I have a party at home and will be having guest at home and no music to play, will Sony India take responsibility of this embarrassment which I will face tomorrow evening. I really hope that my complaint is dealt with and someone from the technician team visit me tomorrow and repair my system please. My Service request number is ID 22421131.                         I have registered a complain Service Request ID 21381344 on 07.10.2014 that my Sony LCD TV is not working. Model No KLV-32CX320IN5 Serial No. 7006969 Technicians from Tiruneveli, Tamil Nadu attended the service request and taken some parts on 11.10.2014. After 5 days they informed that there is a problem in panel and that is to be removed and it will costs around Rs 11500/-. I had purchased the TV in May 2011. The TV was working very fine absolutely there was no problem. Even though the amount is on very much higher side almost 40% of the cost of brand new TV, i agreed to replace the part. Again after 10 days they have informed that the subject parts is not available and the technician came to my house on 26.10.2014 and taken some photo and informed that company will replace the TV and you have to pay the panel costs. In that also i have given my consent. Already 34 days have passed from date of my complain till date it is not resolved. When ever i am calling the technician is giving his stereotype reply is that it will take time. Is it the service of your company which is having best brand value in INDIA and world also. Sony TV is costlier TV from other branded TV with same specification. Are we the fool purchasing SONY TV seeing the brand paying more amount. Still i hope i will get the service.                         i have registered a service request 46919205 on April 19th 2018 and it assigned to Vigneshwar Services, Bangalore. The problem is only audio is coming out from T.V. No picture its only a blank screen. after registered request, next day service executive visited my house to check the condition of T.V and said that it might be a Mother board or Display panel issue. It requires a observation in the service center or asked me take the video of T.V to send the update to service executive. I have done 3 times as he said and sent him my observations.
                        After that whenever i call service executive he is saying it is pending with the transport team who need to take my T.V to service center. This story went on 2 weeks and when i contact Vigneshwar services they said that nothing was mentioned by service executive in the request. Still my issue is not resolved.

                        Being a frustrated customer iam writing this, we dont go for the other brand even they are lesser price than the Sony product. As We believe this company products are good but this is my bitter experience with Sony. This incident is making me to change my decision to choose other brand. can you make a step to ahead and think as a middle class customer perspective to resolve this issue.

                        Iam not asking to satisfy my as a customer but only iam asking timely service, pay and serve better!!

                          I had purchased Sony xperia Tipo reference number being [protected] dated 27 feb 2013. Within one month from the purchase the device had touch issue that the touch was fail to behave sometime and I took this for repair in Ahivrudhi tech Jayanagar service center. They addressed the issue saying touch problem and replaced the touch After few days of repair another problem occurred that the screen went blank and nothing can be seen on the phone. Only it use to blink when call comes. I reported this issue to Ahivrudhi tech Jayanagar service center little later and they said touch screen needs to be replace. They replaced it and given back. After this service I did use for a while and another problem started that phone get hangs on an off. By which after placing call the screen goes blank and unable to perform any operation until the screen get activates back. I have been bearing this issue since last 9 months and till today this issue exist. I just regret every time saying why did I chose Sony xperia . Not even for 3 months i could make use of this mobile happily . Such a disaster model. If it’s a design issue then really Sony shouldn’t offer such untested models to the market which has created pretty bad impression. These issues was been addressed to the customer care last time saying your changing the major part touch and display which I never no will cause what issue next. I just tolerated this problem for a quite a while due to I was able to just receive and make calls. Though the problem occurred during the warranty period I am fail to report this mobile to service center since i was out of station. Kindly treat this compliant as strong grievance against the model released by sony and the service provided by Abhivrudhi tech which has a failures again and again.                           I had a Tipo Dual which had the same problem. When I took it to the service center in Indiranagar there was a long queue, many of them had the same problem. I got it repaired after a few days. But I am sure that they have not replaced the display. After three months the issue appeared again. I didn't bother to repair it again.Sony products somehow lost their quality. Better avoid their products especially their cell phones.

                            Hi I'm Suresh Murugan I purchased new Sony C3 mobile cost of 20 k from 18/10/2014 and after one week I got issue like automatically off, So 29/10/2014 I submit my to Sony authorised service center in TAMIL NADU, Chennai service address is: Abirami Plaza, 17/4, M.K. Reddy Street, west tambaram, Tamil nadu, chennai-600045. First ticked id was W[protected] this ticket resolve on 12/11/2014 more the 10 business days and again I got one issue which is volume up key not working, so again I submit my mobile on 14/11/2014 the second ticked id was W[protected]. only with in one month MY NEW SONY MOBILE GOT 2 ISSUE and service center employ sad this is mother board problem they change 1st new mother board and now 2nd time also they said mother board issue need to change so with in one month two times my new Sony mobile got mother board issue. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH SONY AND I NEED NEW SONY C3 MOBILE AND I TOLD EVERY ONE SONY IS VERY BADY CUSTOMER SERVISE THEY NOT REPLCE MY MOBILE.                               I have been a regular Sony mobile user for past couple of years and was quite satisfied. Following my Sony affection, I bought Sony Xperia Z1 soon after its launch in India for INR 40K. This was my third Sony mobile. I was very happy and overjoyed with my luxurious phone. But sooner than expected, the phone became slow in response, started hanging frequently and even automatically turning off. I was struggling with this issue, when another mishap happened. I was riding my bike with my phone in my pocket when it started to rain. I was confident that my phone is safe, as it is "Water Resistant". However, by the time I reached my destination and checked my device, the phone was dead. I have tried almost everything starting leaving it for drying for 1 week, visiting customer care center and checking online issue resolution. The customer care center person tells me the phone repair will cost me INR 20K!!! Seriously ?? I can buy another smartphone in that amount!! I have been a regular Sony user for past 6 years and if this is was I get in return, I am shameful off my loyalty. Sony, please don't promise a feature just for marketing that you are not capable of fulfilling. YOUR PHONES AREN'T WATER RESISTANT!! THEY ARE AS VULNERABLE TO WATER DAMAGE AS ANY OTHER PHONE. Please get my phone repaired or provide me some compensation. This is not how you treat loyal customers.

                                Hello sir, I want to give a complain about Happy care service center. I am really having very bad experience with this service center. Last month i gave one Sony music system for repair where the Radio was not working, they called me after 3days and give the estimation. Although the repairing price was high as compared to my music system purchase rate i said yes because i don't want to waste that. After that no response from them for one month. So i visit the shop and enquiry about the same and they said they are not getting the parts and return me back. My question is if that part was not available on what basis they gave me the estimation? If you are not getting that part you don't have the responsibility to inform your customer and you will wait until the customer will call you? Now i am having problem with my Sony Bravia LCD tv. I gave the complain on 15th and the complain# 22411126. Till 17th i didn't get any call from them. So 17th evening i called them requesting to attend this complain immediately because we are unable to see the TV. Till today i did not receive any call from them. I am afraid that the same case as my music system may happen now. I am really very disappointed with Sony's service center and I feel its risky to purchase any sony item. You are charging such a high amount for service and this is your service??

                                  I was having troubles with my sony vaio laptop model soon after i bought it. Initially i thought it was a glitch in my operation and tried to resolve the problem using sony assist but my efforts went in vain. Then i decided to contact sony vaio service centre and registered a coplainta regarding my laptop. I myself went to the service centre(m.k. reddy street, west tambaram, chennai, PIN-600127). They took my laptop and returned it to me after 7 days. After getting back the problem showed up within next few hrs of laptop use. They told me that problem was resolved(as per them the laptop had some software issues). I again contacted them and requested for complete checkup. They again took my laptop for further 7 days and returned with no glitch again and this time they told that there is no problem with the laptop its only your way of handling the laptop that has made it that glitchy. how is that possible?? I had an antivirus installed and was very careful after the first laptop service. As in the first case, the problem persisted...this time i was made to call again and again registering my complaint regarding my laptop and was assured of service within two days but the two days havent ended yet. I still call them regularly to hear the same. Feeling pissed off. I cant bear it anymore. If this complaint does not works I am going to Consumer Forum for sure..have no other problem left

                                    Water went inside my xperria z.. All the ports we closes.. An put it in a tub of water to show my frnds.. Started flickerin an then switched off.. I had problems with the phone 3 time.. First time replaced phone wit new phone but tat kept heatin up so they gave me another but tat was not a sealed pack.. This one jus fininished the warranty period.. Is xperia z waterproof only in the warranty period..

                                      I had deposited a audio ( Model no.CFD-RS60CP/CSP5) as on 23.08.2014. for repair as per job no. J42220964 as on 23.08.14. But I am sorry to say, after a gap of almost three month, I have not get the required service from your end. It is necessary to mention that I have already paid the required service charges. Sony is a world wide reputed brand. This is unfortunate to me as a customer, that the trust of the brand is decaying. Please see the matter and solve my problem as early as possible.

                                        DEFECTIVE PANEL SUPPLIED (KIND ATTENTION : Mr. Kenichiro Hibi, MD, SONY INDIA) and Mr. Uttam Chandra, Mr. Anil Jha) Refer Request IDs 22262613; 22435973; 22382422; 22376110; 2236155 सोनी के Engineer ने 15th Nov., 2014 को हज़ारों written requests और phone calls के बाद विज़िट किया और confirm किया कि 22” Sony TV का पैनल ही खराब है. इसके बाद हमने सोनी के श्री अनिल झा साहब को इस बात से अवगत करवाया पर अभी तक उन्होंने हमें कोई भी response नहीं दिया है. हम सोनी इण्डिया से यह जानना चाहते हैं कि जब उनका सोनी टी.वी सप्लाई के दौरान ही defective था तो इसे Test में किस तरह से ऒ.के किया गया और फ़िर अगर इसे गलती से हमें बेच ही दिया गया तो फ़िर सोनी के स्टोर ने इसे वापस क्यों नहीं किया जबकि हमने हरिओम वालों के सोनी स्टोर पर तुरन्त इसके खराब होने की सूचना दे दी थी, पर उन्होंने यह कहकर टाल दिया कि इस defective टीवी को अब सोनी कम्पनी ही वापस करेगी, जबकि ऊसूलन जब किसी electrical item के खराब होने की सूचना 7 दिनों के अन्दर सम्बधित डीलर को दे दी जाऐ तो यह उस कम्पनी के डीलर का फ़र्ज़ बनता है कि वह उस defective item को तुरन्त बदलकर दे पर न तो डीलर ही और न ही सोनी कम्पनी ही इस defective TV को replace करने की मंशा रखती है, दर असल सोनी कम्पनी अपने defective products को भारत में किस बेशर्मी से खपा रही है, यह इसका एक जीता जागता उदाहरण है.क्या सोनी इण्डिया के एम.डी श्री खेनचीरो हिबी इस बात का नोटिस लेंगें और तुरन्त अपना defective product वापस लेकर हमारी खून पसीने की कमाई को वापस लौटाऐंगें. अगर किसी पाठक के पास सोनी के एम.डी साहब का ईमेल हो तो मेहरबानी करके तुरन्त मुझे इस ईमेल पर भेजें [protected]@gmai.com. शुक्रिया.
