This is with reference to my mobile Service Job card No. W[protected] which were handed over to local service centre at Jaipur..

I had purchase Sony EXperia Handset 8 month before which is under warranty. Due tosome manufacturing defect, my mobile stopped working. Customer support centre has refused to repair my mobile which is under warranty. Sonyservices centre team is claiming me Rs 5500 for repairing my handset. This value is 70% of actual cost of my mobile.

Unnecessary issues are being claimed like "liquid indicatoron the handset - which has turned red" which is invalid. My mobile is notexposed to any external agencies.

This is unethical and against Sony India warranties laws!!

SONY REPORTS A QUARTERLY LOSS OF $ 1.2 BN
Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony has reported a net loss for thethree months to September of 138bn yen ($1.2bn, GBP 762m). The loss which wasattributed to its struggling mobile phone business. The firm said, it nowexpects a full-year loss of 230bn yen, compared with a previous estimate of50bn yen. The electronics giant has been losing money due to competition in thesmartphone sector from global rivals such as Apple and Samsung. It sad, itwould start to reduce its smartphone presence in China particularly where ithas been losing ground to domestic firms including Xiaomi. Sony has also beenstruggling this year to turn around in television unit which has been losingmoney due to competition from Asian rivals including Samsung Electronics.

    Actually I was a very big FAN of SONY mobile phones n I made my brother and sister to buy it. But coming into my aspect I bought Xperia M Dual but it's performance is degrading day by day. 1. I found some peculiar problem, whem using a sim with 3G phone is getting restarted. But in other phones (sony and other brands) it is working good.. At one authorized center they said that problem is with mother board so it is to be replaced. But as I was about to move to other place I couldn't make it out there itself. At another Authorized Service center, they checked in other same model piece and found the same problem and replied that problem is with SIM itself. If it is really so then it shouldn't work in other brand phones too. But there is no reply from their side except saying that the performance is checked only using same model only. Does it makes sense saying this. 2. Even some options are loosing their behaviour as software is getting updated. NOISE SUPPRESSION and HEARING AIDS options are creating noise in loud speakers than reducing background noises as there was no such problem earlier(before software update). 3. Somehow software issues are arising day by day. In a week I visited a servicing center thrice. Whenever any issue is arising they are re-installing the OS software and giving back the handset, but next time a new problem is arising. As it is warranty it's ok for me now but once the warranty period completes I cannot afford to waste my time and money in visiting service center these many times... On the whole it was very bad experience in using this phone and my interest in using phone is decreasing day by day. Solve this problems as early as possible before my interest in using sony xperia phone changes to some other brand

      I gave my Sony Smart phone on Nov 1 for repairs to the Sony authorised service outlet, Sri Sai Electonics. Ticket ID: [protected] I was told on Nov 3 that parts worth Rs 5500 approx needed to be replaced and I paid an advance of Rs 2000/ I received a fresh service request no on Nov 4: [protected] which is valid for 7 days. I have not received an update since then and the phone lines of the service outlet are continuously engaged or never picked up. The same goes for the call centre number:[protected], where you are put on hold till it disconnects.

        It feel very bad to inform you about the response provided by sony service centre India. The service provided by them is maligning the name of a highly branded company like SONY . I have given my mobile xpiria Z1 (Model no. C6902) in the sony authorized service center (KRISH ELECTRONICS - MALAD (EAST)) for changing the USB port. They said it will take only 7 days to change the new part and after that they will handover it back. But nothing has happened for the last 2 weeks! I enquired about it several times, but they said that they have not yet received the respective part from the company and will have to wait for few more days. Because of their delay tactics i had to live without phone for these days. Hence i have to face lot of difficulties. Now i am regretting about my decision to purchase sony phone. After spending so much of money on brand like SONY i didn't expect this kind of service. Must say very bad after sales service form Sony Brand. I hope no one purchase Sony brand because their after sale service is pathetic. The least i expect some kind of response from sony people.

          Dear Sir, Good Morning, I purchased a Sony Xperia T2 Ultra mobile being IMEI no.[protected], S/N:YT910RD20Y on dated 03/06/2014. There was problem in my mobile, my mobile start button was not functioning / working . I submitted my mobile to your authorised service centre at Bokaro Steel City ( Jharkhand) namely Fortune - Sony authorised service centre address - Plot no. P-31, City Center, Near Circus Maidan, Sec-IV, Bokaro Steel City - 827004( Jharkhand). The concern persons from your service center told me to return my mobile after repairing within 7 days but after 7 days they told that it will take more time. Again and again I asked several time to them but no one responded properly, no one answered properly. When I don't have any other option then I decided to take the help of court and after 25 days my advocate send them a legal notice for the same purpose, now after receiving the legal notice, they sent me a sms that my mobile is repaired and ready please come and receive it. Now my issue is that WHY I will receive the mobile which you kept for a long period it is 25days. In the legal notice it clearly mentioned that I need a new mobile instead of that said mobile. The service center told that what ever you want to do, where ever you to go either it is court or any where you can go, but we will not help in the matter, if you want to take the help of the court then first of all file the case against us and Sony company and ask court to give you a new mobile.No one from our side will help you. Finally after discussion with my advocate as per his advise we will file a case on 15th November 2014 but before that if you can help in the matter and can solve the dispute, please inter fare in the matter and solve it. Now I need a new mobile, this is matter of my dignity and pride. Here I am sending the copy of legal notice through attachment file, which was sent to your authorised service center.             1) The Ticket ID [protected] 2) Date of submit on 31 OCT 2014 3) Model no-: D6502 4) Black 5) job no W[protected]. 6) The ticket was close by your PC support customer care center but problem was not resolve & I wasn't accept the mobile. Without my satisfaction they close the ticket. 7) Still mobile they have & they committed to re lock the call. 8) There was no technical person to answer my question. 9) The some sort of liquid saw in the display from lower bottom. 10) Without identifying the real problem they change the battery for liquid in display. 11) It doesn't make any sense to change battery for liquid goes inside of display. I have the electronics background ( I work as a Process eng level 1 for jabil ckt limited) so I know the things. 12) After showing the real problem they admitted it & they committed to inform to head office because the Sony Z2 only open or replace from there only. 13) So please do the needful. 14) The replacement should be send as early as possible. 15) Please replay me within 2 days. 16) I use all the electronics product of Sony don't break my faith in Sony quality.

              To, The Head-customer care, Sony mobile division Sir, I am writing this mail out o[censored]tter frustration with the poor service offered by Sony to customers like me. I had purchased a Sony xperia Z ultra mobile for Rs. 44000/- with IMEI No. [protected] in March 2014. However while traveling on my bike, the mobile fell down and the screen/display was damaged. This incident happened 2 months back. Since that time I have been running pillar to post at your service centres to get the same repaired. I am shocked and very disappointed at the casual and indifferent attitude of your service centre staff. No one has given me a satisfactory reply as to when my handset will get repaired or replaced. They are just passing the buck and not giving any commitment to me. I have suffered loss in my work and time in addition to the loss of my mobile due to numerous visits to your service centres. Is this how a reputed brand like Sony treat its customers? How do you expect customers of high end mobiles like me to trust and refer your brand to others? At the end of this frustrating journey, I had to purchase a stand by handset (not Sony-never!) to manage my work. Please revert with a firm solution to my problem.                   I bought a sony vaio laptop 1 year back, soon after i bought, it started giving so many hardware issues due to which it got replaced after following up for almost six months and doing thousands of complaints, that time i paid additional 3000 rs for extension of warranty but since then they have not transferred it, its been six months and still they are not giving me any positive feedback, i tried escalating this to there management but there management too didnt responded well, i am feeling helpless, now i need my money back and they should be fined for this pathetic service, i am feeling like cheated, i would ask all consumer not to buy any of the sony products. here is the sony complaint number SonyIndia=[protected]'

                          Hi, This is logesh bought KLV- 40R482B sony TV, during the installation we came to know that, issues in display.regarding this issue given complaint through customer care sony(register id[protected] on 5th Nov'14, same day sent mail with photo's id[protected].So far no response from your side.it's getting shock.we are in heart of metro chennai city, if we facing this type of problem in metro, what will be the status in other towns. .

                            I just received the phone back from the service centre around at 4:00pm for damaged back panel and at the same night when the cell was kept for charging, the next morning i woke up and saw a hairline crack on the display emerging from the charging point to the end of the screen.. The screen has no impacts that shows it might have fallen on the ground or banged up somewhere.. When i reported this to the service centre the very next day, they said that it was physical damage and hence could not cover in warranty.. I told them the reality and they refused to accept.. Then i contacted the sony customer care centre and they said they could do anything to help, but atlast they also refused to do anything.. Then i searched for cracked displays of xperia z1 online and i saw blog of bbc watchdog which has already investigated the phone for its cracked displays and the sony also has made a comment stating that “In a small proportion of cases, screens have indeed cracked with no identifiable cause and in these instances the phone has been repaired for free.” I again contacted the service center and they told me that they would again try to contact the company and try to resolve my case..One month happened and no answer was given to me.. When i called them they said that the statement was made for UK and hence the comment is not applied to India.. So, your phone is not covered in warranty..

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I Have Purchased 22 (55 cm) P402B BRAVIA LED TV (SONY) on 04.03.2015 at Jainson, Trichy.
                              For the installation purpose i make call to sony company toll free no, they say installation is free and we have assigned to Max Electronics, Trichy.
                              Today their serviceman installed TV and asking service charge for Rs.200/-(I was paid).
                              Kindly clarify my questions,
                              Why you are telling free installation?
                              This amount is low and this is not a problem, the problem why you say free installation?

                                  My device automatically stopped playing songs. When I approached Star customer care (Authorized Service Center ) They took the device and gave the service job sheet ( Job No J[protected] My device was in the warranty period.
                                  When I revisited the above mentioned service center after 20 day. I was informed that the device was not repaired and was kept untouched as they did not have manual and the parts of the above mentioned device. They asked me to wait for some more time but looking at the thin unprofessional attitude and negligence regarding product service I took my device back.
                                  I revisited the center on 13.10.14 but was again sent back without any service with a reason that concerned mechanic was not available, So it could not be done.

                                  Hi my name is Nagma and i bought the sony experia z1 mobile in the month of march 2014 which was my biggest mistake i trusting sony mobile for their service very stupid and poor service stupid according to them the mobile is water resistance but my mobile got spoiled due to some water drops i went to the the service center because my phone stopped working the service center people found some water problem so they took it for under warranty repair on 30th sep 2014 and till now 11/17/2014 there is no stupid update of my phone they dont and the call no response from there end thane service centre eternity mall job no w[protected] i went to the service centre few days back with the stitches on my body i was hospitalised why i went there because those people they don't response bloody they said they will call me on on Wednesday and today is monday no call from them i am tired i am not in condition to travel if i go there and something happen to me sony wll be the responsible they are very careless they dont know anything about customer service almost 2month they are not ready to give my mobile now i ma not going to wait and file complaint against stupid sony mobile services

                                  I'm a Sony Xperia ZL user and I'm facing a lot of problems due to the poor service provided by Sony. I had submitted my phone on 13th of November to an authorized Service Centre (PC Support Service Centre) which is in Pune due to some battery issues. I was told by the staff that since it's a hardware issue, they will have to send my phone to the head office for replacement and that this complete process will take round about 7-15 days. It's been 25 days and I still haven't received my phone or any information related to my phone. Whenever I call the service centre, the staff is not able to give me any useful information about my phone. I even tried contacting the toll-free number[protected] but it was not at all helpful. I also wrote an e-mail to the head office complaining about all this but still no response. I was told to contact a person named 'Chaitanya' working at the regional office and that he will be able to give me some information related to my phone. But instead he exhibited very improper tone on the phone and refused to give me the contact information of any senior official. This type of poor service is not expected from a company like Sony. If possible I would like to talk to someone working in the head office personally. It would be really helpful if some quick action is taken.

                                      Hello, I own Sony LCD (Model # KLV-40S400A; Serial # 1206362) for the last 6 years. It was working fine all this while, until one fine day when it did not power on. The complaint was logged and engineer had visited on 06th September. The guy did NOT know a thing. He opened up the TV set, asked me to bring the set to service station because some 2H2 IC was defective. He also mentioned that they do NOT have the part in stock, so they can not commit on the service time lines. Anyway, I did not take the TV set to service station, as the engineer committed to call me when they would receive the part. After number of calls and mails to SONY, I finally get another visit from another engineer on 08th November. After more than 2 MONTHS. Result - same as above. Even he does not know what is wrong and has asked the TV set to be brought service center. And he is also not sure whether they have the part in stock or not!!! I had spent 70k to buy this TV, and look at the service level of a global organization - SONY. Engineers know nothing about the problem; they do not know what part is to be replaced and whether they have it in the stock; and more importantly there is no revert from SONY - I had tweeted them on Twitter. Guys - your service organization sucks!!! Are you listening?!

                                        Hello, This is with regard to camera that I have submitted for repair whose details are furnished below: 1. Camera Model: DCS-WX80 2. Camera Type: Sony Cyber shot. 3. Job Sheet Number: JF2408631 4. Serial Number: 4533744 5. Problem description: Switch block not working 6. Warranty : Within warranty – not even completed 1 year 7. Date on which camera was given for service: 13-Oct-2014. 8. Service Station: Vigneshwar Services, 6th block, koramangala – Bangalore-95 Here are the sequences of events: 1. This camera was given for services on 13-Oct-2014 and I was initially promised by the front desk lady that it will be serviced and returned to me within 10 days. 2. There was no further follow-up till 28-Oct-2014 and it was not proactive as well. I started calling them from 25-Oct-2014 and they finally answered me on 28-Oct-2014. This time it was some different guy who mentioned that part item request has been initiated and it will be fixed and delivered to me by 5-November. 3. I waited till 6-Nov but there was no follow-up call when I started chasing them again on the same number but this time as well, they stopped responding. I made some 100-150 calls but there was no answer on landline and mobile number that they have provided for follow-up. By the way these call were made during the official hours i.e. 10 AM – 6 PM on working days as well. Till date, no body is bothered to pick up the phone and answer. 4. I finally contact the toll free number and to my demise they have the same old update to give that the part is not yet arrived and I have to check with service center who are not bothered to pick any calls at all. In between of these events, as I had to purchase new camera as I am event manager and need camera to capture events. This was informed to service station as well so that they can prioritize the request. I need some basic answers from you at this point: 1. How can brand like Sony can lose trust with customer? Who is responsible for unruly behavior of the service center with the customer? There is no accountability at all. 2. If the parts are not available why the customer is made to wait. Some of this product is very intrinsic for business, as in my case where I ended up buying extra camera. Who will pay for this? 3. Why there are no immediate replacements of the parts? Are you seriously saying me that this part will come from across the globe? I have already run out of patience in subsequent follow-ups with customer care and service center. Please either fix the part or replace the camera.
