Hi team,

Please note that while my router had some issue, spectranet team denied to provide support and i had bear the cost of taking the router to the service center of d link and get it repaired. As the service center was 17 km away from home, the auto fare was rs 300 per visit, which means i had to book four autos amounting to rs 1200 as i had to re-visit to bring back the router after replacement.

The next problem was to configure the router. Again spectranet refused to provide support and i had to take on call support from d link to get the router configured. As on call assistance was not sufficient enough to get the router configured, i had to close the connection of spectranet.

Now while i asked spectranet to refund the convenience charge of rs 1200, they straight away refused to do so.

Request you to please look into the matter and help me getting my convenience fee refunded.

    I have been complaining regarding a link down since saturday and they have been giving me 4-8 hours of resolution time and closing the request automatically. Fake promises being made telling technician is coming to my place but no one turning up. Everytime it is being stated that it is on priority and escalated but now actions being taken. Also they say i will get call back but no one has cared to contact.

        I had requested for service cancellation and refund of the advance amount (Rs. 4000) in the month of may. The customer care executives took the complaint and informed me that the field executives will collect the router within 48 hours and the refund amount will be credited to the linked account after 7 days (Totally within 9 days i'll get the refund). However, after 4 months - around 30 calls with customer care executives, 2 calls with senior executives (Who are busy all the time) and a chain of mails with many executives, no refund is credited. Apart from this my friends have also contacted customer care regarding this numerous times.
        I just wish spectra to compensate for the delay in payment with the advance amount and justify the reason for delay.

          I opted for spectranet connection on 30.04.2017 and paid 1500 as security deposit and 1000 installation charges
          At the time of installation i have been told the security will be refunded when i will request for a disconnection.
          Due to bad service and heavy cost i decided to switch to other service provided on 14.07.2018 but when i asked for the refunds they told me i have not paid any security.
          This is the worst network provider ever
          I have all the proofs with me and i want them to take a quick action about this

            Spectranet service will stop working in every three days. When i complain them they are just not responding. Actually the technician came and told building router needs to be changed and i complained the same. They are not changing.in a month, internet is only working for 10 days. I am asking them the refund as i have made 5 months advance payment but they refusing to provide me any refund. They are also not giving me any waiver.

              I had deposited refundable security deposit amount of rs. 2500/- to spectranet broad band (Now spectra) in october, 2017 for the router which was supposed to be refunded once the router is recovered from the customer.

              I relocated from bangalore, and went for disconnection of my broadband connection (Account id - 034169) on 7th july, 2018; and also raised a request for recovery of router and process my refund of security deposit. Inspite of multiple multiple reminders, phonecalls, and e-mails; there has been absolutely no action taken by spectra for router recovery and process of refund. There is not even triggering of any process from their end.
              Before leaving bangalore i had called up spectra almost 10 times and asked them to recover the router, so that refund can be initiated. But they never contacted to collect. Now, also i had left the device with my neighbour friends, but still no action from spectra even with numerous complaints and reminders.

              Request if you can raise this to the concerned authorities, and get my refund back.

                I have took new connection on 19 July around 7 PM
                I raised complaint on 20 July for internet issue.

                after multiple followup there is no solution

                4 times filed engineer visited they said they cant help.

                  I have raised request multiple times to (I. E. Latest sr[protected]) to disconnect my spectra net once again account 189289 and below are the details:

                  Reason for disconnection: false promises while executive was selling the connection

                  Details of false commitment: i was already having a active connection with airtel and connection was sold on 25th march 2018 making false promises as there will be no charges for next 4 months only security deposit will be there of rs. 20000 that will be refundable so i took connection and after 3 days connection was active on 28 mar 2018 but later i on 31st i receive the bill and i was so surprise that spectranet stole my money? Which was very sad so i raised a request to disconnect my connection on same day by telling all the false commitment made to me. So, where i am in a mistake??

                  I have been trying to to fix this issue since 31 mar, 2018 but it seems like spectranet do not works with their values that cheating and steeling money is okay to do??

                    Spectra net providers are not reliable. Their services are awful, it is really wasting our time, money and energy if we opt for this spectra net. We “shrustii multicultural centre” used the spectra net services for 2 months and then disconnected due to their pathetic services. We are contacting them for the refund of our security deposit of 5000rs since last october 2017. They just provided service request (Sr) sr[protected]. We haven’t heard from them in spite of several e-mails and telephone calls. Till now they did not process our refund. Literally this organization is a biggest fraud which we have ever seen.

                      I have made a disconnection request with spectranet on 28th april, 2018. Its been more than 20 days now and till date it has not been disconnected. My router deposit is held back and they are not ready to refund it until they disconnect the connection. I have been calling their customer care no. On routine basis but i don't get a proper response and confirmation as to when the connection will get deactivated.

                        I got he connection on 3rd march 2018 with a six month subscription. And in last 2 months i have raised around 8-10 complaint. Most of them took 2-5 days to fix. And i have to always call to get an update multiple times a day.

                        When after being fed up by their poor service i asked for disconnection they are not returning my remaining money.

                        What should be done? My work has suffered and i have faced mental harassment from their customer care.

                          I have a spectranet account with account no. 181965,,
                          I got calls regarding to pay my bill in advance in the month of february from a customer care executive.
                          The person spoke to me in a very demeaning way and called me everyday day for 3 days despite me asking her not to call me again. It was about an advance payment and i did not have any dues. On the fourth day a different customer care person called me about the same matter. I insisted i speak to the manager upon which she transferred the call to another person who identified himself as the manager. I asked him to put me in a do not call list,, and he confirmed he put me in a "do not call" list.

                          Again in the month of march i got more calls from customer care executives and i am tired of telling them not to call me and i'm in the do not call list. Till i renew my subscription (I don't have any dues) they keep calling me,, and it is such torture.

                          Today in april i started getting calls again,, and i said i'm in donot call list and the customer care executive tells me i'm not in a "do not call" list. He tells me he will call me tomorrow. I say i don't want him to call,, then he asks when he can call,, and i say i don't want him to call me. Then he starts to speak my spectranet connection and i had to hang up.

                          I feel tortured. I just want these calls to stop. And these people to honour their word of putting me in a "do not call" list.

                          Spectranet has done false data consumption calculation. According to them, we have consumed 77Gb data in a week which is not at all possible because from 9th of July to 13 of July it is weekday and we don't use much internet during that time. I had airtel connection previously in which we didnt even consume 100 gb data in a month

                            I apploed for new connection at my place online through their site.
                            I was tricked into paying for a 6 month plan after being assured that if you pay online we could initiate installation at the earliest otherwise it might take time.

                            After paying an amount of around 10k for a 6 month subscription and document collection from their employee, when in the end the technician came for installation, i was told the connection couldn't be setup at my society although it was available 10mtrs away from it and i would receive a refund within a week.

                            It's been 18 days that no refund has been received of any sort. Everytime i call customer care they tell me to wait for a minute while they check the status.
                            After having to wait for around 15 mins, they come with a stupid and trivial response that the refund is in process and you would receive it within the next 2-3 days.

                            When asked to transfer the call to their managing department, i was told that they can't due to their policy and they have written an email to the department to reply with the status of the refund process and i woild receive a callback informing me about the status in 24hrs. Its been 18 days and no callback was ever received neither is the refund.

                            For the users who are planning to go for spectranet, i warn you to not pay for the connection until its installed or don't go for spectra at all.
                            They are a fraud company with some extremely poor customer support sevice.

                              On 27th march i had requested spectra team to disconnect my internet connection and refund deposit with complain no. Sr[protected]. The team told me that it will be disconnected by 7th april and no new bill will be generated. Till 11th april dosconnection has not been made and i have stopped using their sevices from 7th itself. Inspite of all this they have generated a bill of inr 4434 for period 10th april to 9th july. This has caused mental and financial harassment to me.

                              Have you got any resolution. Even I am facing the same issue. Very poor Network and vetyy late resolution time and now they are not refunding my money.

                                Spectranet suddenly stopped working. We called up the customer care, they sent a technician who could not resolve it. He further said he will bring senior technicians and will be resolved by end of the day. This was on a friday. Inspite of waiting for 3+ days, status quo being maintained.

                                Customer care says every day that someone will resolve by visiting within 2 hours.

                                The luck 2 hours has expired long ago.

                                We are having to complain to the customer care, talk to new call agent every time and explain the problem. They treat is like fresh complaint and the madness goes on.

                                I work from home and my business is affected for the 4th day because of spectranet.

                                  We applied for spectranet in november 2017. At the time of applying, every staff / salesman of the company used to call us 4 times in a day to collect payment.

                                  After using it for 2-3 months, we did not find the services appropriate and moreover on making any request or complaint, we used to receive a system generated email but no assistance to solve.

                                  We requested for disconnection in january 2018. And since then we have been following up with them on refund of security amount, religiously... But again, we do not get any proper response other than a system generated e-mail...

                                  Moreover, the ticket/reference number given to us shows 'complaint resolved' in their website... Horrible

                                  It is sad, but i must say, i have never seen such a looting company in my lifetime...

                                  Its better to be without internet rather having a connection from spectranet...

                                    They are marketing their connection as 1 gbps with full fledge but when in actual their representative come to install connection.
                                    They come with pamphlet which states maximum speed you will get will be 300 mbps.

                                    They should market their wifi with 300 mbps broadband only and not 1 gbps when they are not giving even half of it. The router they give supports speed upto 1200 mbps, so its wrong to say router does not support this speed.
                                    Even when you test speed with a high quality mac book pro on 5g you get only ~250 mbps

                                    This is clear cheating and making fool of customers.

                                      My internet subscription has been down for 7 days now and i have been calling everyday for it to be reactivated. Everyday they ask for few more hours, sometimes a day but are never able to activate it because of their software issues. I have paid for a six month subscription in advance (Prepaid) and they will not refund my money immediately so that i can go with another provider. Their escalation team does not respond. Just terrible technology....

                                      Spectranet had started of as a good provider and i have been with them for the past 2+ years here in bangalore. Lately for the couple of months the internet has been off and on. Customer service does nothing but the standard rebooting process. Sometime it is restored and sometimes it is not. I am just fed up. My internet has been the worst in the past 10 days and completely down in the past 72 hours. Customer service does nothing but provide me a new ticket number each time i ask for an update.

                                      Just terrible internet service and do not fall for their bandwidth commits when they try to sell a plan to you.
