As mentioned on website, i sent the text “buy” to [protected] for new connection on 10th july 2017. Almost within few minutes a guy from bodakdev office called and asked me what type of connection i needed and said a person will be at my home by today evening to discuss about the
New connection.
Within the next 20 minutes, the person came and explained me about the
Plans; i chose 1mbps as i am the only one who would be using the broadband. He took rs. 3825 with broad smiling face advance cash for my new connection. The breakdown was rs. 3325 for 1 year subscription of 1mbps + rs. 500 for the binatone router. I agreed on that part and told me that a “guy” will be here within 48 hours to install the device and configure my new connection.
Actually, i had received a text message that 1mbps plan is having an offer price of rs. 3325 for 12 months. He was trying to sell me that plan for rs. 3500. I showed him that text message and then he agreed on giving the plan for rs. 3325.
As agreed, a “guy” came on 12th july 2017 and installed the devices and
Router. As usual i got the confirmation text that my account was active and i got my username and password. I came home at 1:00am and tried to login; i got an error message that my username or password was wrong. I tried and tried and tried to enter the details, each time got an error that
Something was incorrect.
Next morning i called the customer service number[protected] and came to know that my account was “tdc”. Surprised, i asked what it meant. The customer service adviser was not able to answer my questions. After 2 calls, i came to know that “tdc” means termination or terminated or temporary disconnected (I got three different answers). I was asked several times whether i had made payments or not. I explained myself that a guy took rs. 3825 from me on 10th july.
But the great customer service advisers just took my complaint and made a note of it and send it to some mysterious department. They even failed to ask someone to give me a call back and explain things. After two days, my account was still not active. Fortunately, i got a call back and was told that
My account will be active within few hours. I was convinced. 5/6 hours later my account was not active. I called probably 3 or 4 times after that but got the same response. Some even said that he
(The adviser) had taken the “ownership” and will activate my account within an hour. Guess what, it didn’t and no one bothered to call me.
Tired of calling, i went to the headoffice at bodakdev on 17th july 2017. I was told by one of the advisers to meet mr vishal at third floor of that building. I met mr vishal and discussed the matter with him. I sat there and he ran off to “activate” my account. I probably sat there for 45 minutes and
Then he came and told me that my account was “active”. I took his phone number, just in case, if it didn’t work. Guess what again, it didn’t work. I was getting the same error again and again.
I called and called but it didn’t worked. I had to go to their headoffice the next day to fight for it. There were 4 or 5 people with similar issues; connection not being active after taking huge amount of money, connection being terminated, connection not working for 15 to 20 days etc.
On that day, i met mr chintan; who assured me that a “guy” will be there to fix my issues by 2pm (Before i go to work at 3pm). He came!! I was so much happy that finally this person will resolve it. There was another guy with him. Looking at the way the wiring was
Done, the other person immediately asked, “did that guy did this connection?”. I answered yes. I guess he knew it too that his work is not so good.
Well, he did sort it out and then told me that the first guy has not installed the good quality cable and connections are not sturdy. The device installed on the terrace was also not “fit” properly.
Well, he left and the internet was working. I went to greet them goodbye and saw them go down the stairs. I logged in again on spidigo login page and boom… internet was not working….
I ran and caught them at the society gate and they told me that the device on the terrace was not good, it needs to be replaced. They also said that they will call me and come back once they get the device tomorrow. They never came, they never called.
Mr vishal never once answered my call. Mr chintan only once answered my call and he is the one keeps on assuring all will be good and keeps on sending invisible “guys” to my home. No one came
To my home…
I now have my account active and broadband connection active but after every 10 minutes of surfing the browser says no internet connectivity, dns server error, failed to connect to spidigo. Login etc. This has become a daily schedule. I have never received a continuous connectivity after they went from my home. Even if you open google it will get opened like normal. But after hitting search button, the page will load and load and load and then kill itself. I have to keep on disconnecting and reconnecting the page over and over again.
Even tried to understand my situations and kept on making false
Promises. He never even had the audacity to say sorry once. His answers were blunt all the time. I
Have worked for customer services for nearly 4 years and i have never talked with customers like
That. He got one reason for “fluctuations”… rain. God, it has stopped raining, why has my problem
Not resolved?
The customer service members are not so good. They will register my complaint and will just tell me
That some “guy” will call me. It has only twice that this guy told me that he will send another “guy”
To my house. I get the text message that the complaint has been registered and sometimes i receive
The call and then within few hours i get the text that my complaint has been closed. ‘
Each and every people with spidigo have lied to me. They were only truthful to their words when i
Had to take a new connection. Even if a guy would be miles away from my home, he would be at my
Doorstep within 15 minutes to take money from me. No one has ever been late to collect
Money. But to provide services they become neglectful.
From 11th july till today, i have felt nothing but stress. I have spent god-knows how much time over
The call, shouting in the middle of the night explaining things to call advisers. Everyday i woke up
Praying that my broadband would work. I had to change my mobile plan to get more data so that i
Can use hotspot. I am even typing this complaint with hotspot; even at this point internet is not
Working.

Had also sent one email to [protected]@spidigo.com but no one replied, obviously!
Following are the main points where spidigo failed:
1. Misguiding advertisements – you would be able to see the banners on streets and different
Info on website.
They have mentioned monthly plan on the website but they charge it for a year. Says that it
Is for customer’s understanding.
2. Poor knowledge of complaint handling – the customer service team over the call is the
Worst that i have ever encountered with. I would say reliance broadband was less bad
Compared with these ones.
Advisers just have the knowledge of account name, address, phone numbers, user id and
Activate details etc. They never ever gave satisfactory responses.
Once the complaint is registered, a technical engineer gives a call and understands my
Complaint again; he is the judge whether they should send the guy or not.
3. False promises – each and every one of them from the sales person to customer service call centre team have said a lot of buttery
Things but none of them has tried to made my connection smooth and error-free.
4. Poor quality device and cable: i was told twice that the lan cable of such
Quality is the worst of all, cheapest of all from china; it is rarely used now-a-days. Also, the
Device on the terrace looks outdated and fixed forcefully.
Spidigo, why do you even exists... Go burn in hell...
