I hold the Manhattan credit card .[protected] from almost 5 to 6 years and has been paying all my bill on time most of the time.

Few month back i got a call to convert my Credit balance into EMI and after few inquiries i agreed to convert ~Rs.48k amount into EMI for 12 month with total one time interest of ~Rs.3.5k.

At the time of converting i specifically asked about the credit limit and i was confirmed that no credit limit will be blocked .

Last month my card was blocked after the usage of ~Rs.31k and when i called up the call centre and they informed me that limit is blocked due to EMI amount post that i raised a complaint with reference no. [protected] dated 23 Jun’13.

Few days after registering the complain i received a call and after a detailed discussion i was told that they will arrange the call recording in which i was told about the credit limit block BUT THE CALL NEVER CAME and LETTER was sent to home stating that they tried contacting me and i was not reachable and complaint was closed.

THIS IS CHETING AS WRONG INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO ME AND UNETHICAL WAY TO CLOSE THE COMPLAINT.

Now i want the reversal of the Interest i had paid for EMI and appropriate action to be taken against the person who has given wrong information and also against the person who has closed the complain without resolution.

Standard Chartered — debitted of amount 2000

Hi,
I am state bank of mysore account holder bearing A/C [protected].
This issue is regarding the cash withdraws with non SBM ATM, STANDARD CHATTERED bank. On 6th May 09, I withdraw amount of Rs.2000 in the Non SBM ATM, Standard chattered Bank at bangalore. I haven't received the amount and slip from the ATM. When I checked with my SBM statement amount got debited in my account. Immediately I approached the STANDARD CHATTERED Bank Manager and reported regarding this. He said nothing to do them complaint have to rise with SBM Bank. I placed the request on the same. But still upto now i didnt get any results.
So please help me to get back my amount ASAP.

    I had received many calls from your bank side on daily basis regarding for credit card on the behalf of my hdfc credit card, Finally on 14/04/13 i ready to apply for credit card, On 14/04/13 I received a call from your bank side from no.[protected], Executive name:- Kalpna,And on 19/04/13 i received a reference no. GFJ6333BNP01. But i did not received any information yet. On 30/04/13 I called to your agent kalpna to confirmed the status, She said i ll confirmed after then i call you back. Final on 13/05/13 Your executive called me and informed me that your request was disapproved and you need to again submit the application then i again submitted the documents on 14/05/13 and on 16/05/13 i received a reference no. GGT3810XMP01, Again same thing happen again i do not received any confirmation yet, again I received a call from your bank side on 22/6/13 Executive name:- Sindhu I took her mobile no. [protected], she said sir due to technical issue we are not able to update you application, So you needs to gain submitted the documents, I clearly explain to then If Card is not delivered within 7 working days. then needs to refund my documents, But still i do not received any confirmation yet. So this is reminder mail to you and for your all respective management team, Issue a credit card else refund my all documents.

    My documents was collected 3 Times, Is this Fraud ?, Your company doing fraud or what. I am very very much disappointed with your services and i never suggest to any one to deal with your bank. your company is totaly doing fraud withs customer, According to your company HDFC Bank is more better.

    I request to your learn something that what is customer service and satisfaction or value to HDFC bank.

    They wasted my very important time and also took my important documents with my signatures. So kindly take the necessary action so that any costumer could not suffer like this in future. Please make them to return my all documents also. 3times

      1. I am a holder of Standard charterd credit card No [protected].
      2. around 15 th Jan 13 ,i took an inerest free loan of Rs 62000 for 3 months , processing fee Rs 1240.
      3. By Apr 8 th , i have already repaid Rs 63800 against above loan on the above card.
      4. The bank is constantly harrasing me by demding additional amount against card No [protected] , which nether i have been issued nor used . They are linking it with card no [protected]

      my old credi card no was [protected] which was replaced by new credit cad bearing no [protected]. my old card was auto debit facility but not requested by the card holder, but till date after the discontinue of the card the auto debit facility is continue and debit me auto debit return fee which is not fare you are requested to discontinue the auto debit facility on my card which was never demanded by me and all the amount credit to me, otherwise i have no option to go the consumer court.

        Std Chart Bank after permitting to OVER DRAW the credit limit, imposes a OVER DRAW FEES of min Rs. 500/- on the credit card holders. Other Banks have a mechanism to inform the credit card holders, when they are close to the sanctioned limit.

        SCB permits to over draw and then impose a penalty on the gulliable customers, which nothing but LOOTING the customers. When the availed limit is close to the sanctioned limit and in case the limit is over drawn, the transaction SHOULD GET DECLINED. But SCB happily permits to over draw, so that they can charge Over Draw Limit Fees.

          Hi, This is a complaint against Standard Chartered Manhattan Platinum card. My card was blocked due to an internal mismatch of book records within Standard Chartered (which I was notifying them for 6-7 months). When I asked to remove the block access, they asked me to pay a nominal 38 paise (yes, you heard it right) to settle the accounts. I paid the amount and waited for the unblock. Then, I was told that I need to send an application for the same. A month after sending the application (Ref. No. 05/13/053143/SP/CRD), I get a reply saying sorry we cannot unblock your card. All my savings and bonus points captured through my purchases over 1 year period is all gone now.

          My question is:
          1. How can they not work when a customer in informing them about the mismatch but only go with an easy option of blocking the card?
          2. They never informed about the blockage of card. How embarrassed would you feel if your card is returned back from merchant owing to blockage?
          3. No clear guidelines on card blockage removal. When they asked me to pay money (38 paise), then it should have been unblocked. A simple mail that says "Sorry, we can't do it" is not good enough.

          Only if I had some power to catch hold of the accounts team, I would surely bring them to consumer court for these hassles.

            Dear ,
            I am having credit card from standard chartered credit card from June'12 onwards ..Initially i used this card for Petrol filling and monthly bill was very small and paid every month and regularly got bills at home ..In Nov i used credit card to purchase laptop for 25 k and converted it to EMI ..
            After that i didn't got any bills at home ..Due date for every month is 26 th and i will pay on 2 nd of every month after getting salary..
            I received only SMS from them saying card 1629 is due ..no amount details ..After 6 months i paid total 27 k and checked with they said ..
            we need to pay against another account number and additionally 10 k need to pay to close due ..shocked and asked ..they told bills are sent to e mail address ..i told nothing avl in mail then they address is wrongly updated in back up and after that sent it in correct id..New emi account need to pay details not shared and they will tranfer the payment from my credit card to emi account on 15 th and they charged additional late fee charges ..Whenever we called them no response and poor response to mail request.I gave all the details of payment made on date wise ..but no proper response from their side .Finally to close my account i checked the amount due in online and paid the full amount..Again after that they are saying late fee charges are added and need to pay 200 more to close account ..Requested many times i paid due earlier ..but no reply ..My credit card number :[protected] ..Really still dont know how to close ..if any knows pls help..

              Let me warn all user who are using or planning to get Standard Chartered Credit Card, that my credit card was compromised on 30th March, 2013. There were multiple international transaction that happened on my card, of which one transaction of Rs 59, 000/- went through. Though the transaction was reversed by merchant but bank has charged mark up fee of Rs. 2606/- on my credit card for which I am still fighting with the Bank for reversal. Guys, their would be many people like me who are being harassed by Standard Chartered for Late Payment fees and Interest charges that are being levied every month. So, please be careful on choosing Standard Chartered Credit Card, their security database is being compromised. Choose Well..

                Hi,

                This is Gopi Krishna Bandi, I had a Barclays personal loan with the loan account number: LC[protected]. This is migrated to Standard charted bank from Barclays. and Standard Charted bank loan account number is 49493485.
                I had already closed this loan last month but still EMI of amount Rs. 14659 is deducted as ECS from my ING Vysya account.
                This should not be done.

                I didn't received any updates on the mail sent on Jul 3rd to both Barclays and SCB customer cares on Barclaysfinance Customerservice <barclaysfinance.[protected]@barclays.com>,
                customer.[protected]@sc.com
                I have all proofs like DD number, Courier details, the courier status and the confirmation of amount recieved mail from Barclays customer care.

                When I visited SCB, Kalyani Nagar they are saying that the system is not updated with the loan closure, is that my problem? Rs 14659 is not a small amount. I have my difficulties to manage this amount. I want reply immediately from them and also I want my money back with interest for the period the amount deducted from my account.

                  SCB Bank has provided some information to CIBIL for my Account, When I am asking the bank for the details of Card number, So far i know I do not have any such card and outstanding from SCB Bank. I had one credit card which is appearing with another account number and I am okay with that, Company is also able to provide data for second account. However, when I contacted SCB bank to know more about the outstanding balance, Card number etc they are not able to provide data and asking me to contact customer care, customer care representative is again asking for my Card number which I dont have and this is what my query is.


                  I have lodged a compained to CIBIL, but the response is very very strage as it showin Account transferred from SCB to ABN Amro to RBS. I am not able to understand what all they are showing in my account.

                  This is Deepak. Due to some unavoidable circumstances i was not able to make the credit card payments. However i managed to settle the complete amount as asked by the Bank.

                  However now even after the payments, my name is there in CIBIL database and i am unable to make any relationship with banks for loans as i need a car loan.

                  So, can you please help me out to sort this problem. If i have made the payment, i should be given the right to avail loans. what should i do.. Plz help..

                  This is for your kind information that i was really shocked to know that my name was mentioned in the Cibil list as i have not taken any loan or i do not have any credit card. then why my name is there in the cibil list.

                  Standard Chartered Bank — Incorrectly added my name to CIBIL database

                  5 years back I had a Standard Chartered bank Credit Card which expired without any usage in August 2005. Limit of credit on this card was of 11000 INR.

                  In May 2010, I got a call from a recovery firm asking me to pay a sum of 85,000 INR which is pending on my name because of some purchase in Feb-2005. They said that my name is added in to the CIBIL database and hence I will not be eligible for any new credit card or loans.

                  I asked for the details of the purchase and they denied giving it and said the total purchase was of 17,000 INR and tax and fees have added it up to 85,000 INR in 5 years. I am surprised to know if the credit limit was of 11,000 then how can the purchase be of 17,000. Also, no details are being shared on the same. Because I never made a purchase and they have registered my name in CIBIL and are threatening me to make the payment.

                  Please advise on what should I do to get my name removed from CIBIL.

                  Credit card SCB — False reporting of outstanding

                  I had incurred expenses of approx Rs.15000/- on my Credit Card of SCB, however due to non receipt of statement, after 3 months I get a state of 24000/- which I disputed. Repeated followups with bank I was informed people handling my a/c left the organization. Eventually I had harrassment calls from SCB outsourced agency where I agreed that the amout due would be paid.
                  To my astonishment, SCB has updated in the central portal that my outstanding is 84000/- over due where they have extrapolated the amount with heavy interest of 36% per annum and further interest on 36% resulting in more than 300% exageration of the value.
                  Requesting your attention on this pls.

                    Standard Chartered is the Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Service is very bad. No, response & fake commitments are the policies of this bank.

                    I had applied for Manhattan credit card by seeing the credit limit & other terms and conditions, I feel cheated.
                    I ve been given a credit limit of only Rs. 27000 whereas I was told 3 lacs to 7 lacs. I was told that it is lifetime free card but there are charges of 999 after 2 years. There is no benefits on dinning n movies mentioned I was told. So, I decided to get it terminated without using even once.

                    I called the customer card no but couldn't connect to anybody there. I also called Mr.Daksh Mittal who approached me on behalf of SCB credit card team. He was from third party & his contact no. is [protected]. When I told my greviences to him, he disconnected the call n stopped picking up my call.

                    I have already sent them few mails on 15th june 2013 at principal.[protected]@sc.com,head.[protected]@manhattan.co.in,[protected]@manhat... but nothing has been done till now. After that I have sent them 2 more reminders but they didn't turn back. I am user of ICICI Credit Card & fully satisfy by their services.

                    I request Indian Consumer Forum to help me in disconnecting this card. thanks

                    I got a call from Somebody Mr. Kumar, from no. [protected] stating that he is calling from Head office of Standard Chartered. He asked me about the details such as Credit card no. & expiry date of the card and CVV no.

                    I told him the credit card no. & expiry date of the card. But, when he asked me to tell CVV no. I recalled that I've been getting regular mails from ICICI credit card (my other credit card banker) that not to disclose the information to anybody over phone or even mail. Nobody will ask you about these information.

                    Then suddenly, I realize that he may be another cheat of SC bank as they have already cheated me & miscommunicated things. Then I asked him to put these things on mail, so that I will be able to document it at least. But, he refused to do so.

                    Then he threaten me by saying that if you don't give me all the information, I will put your card on hold & you keep on recurring charges on to it.

                    This is seriously very bad behavior I have ever seen in banking industry and mind you the fact that they never asked me the matter neither asked felt sorry nor try to retain me. Third class response from a third class bank.

                    I request consumer forum India to take this matter seriously as I am in a fix that if I provide the details I may be cheated or if I don't provide details, they will put charges against my credit card.

                    I have also received call from this number [protected] by named Payal. I have submitted all the documents but could not get my card even after 2 months. I sent the documents to email id [protected]@gmail.com. I'm calling on the number [protected], but no body is responding properly. They are cutting the call inbetween. This looks cheating case or using my documents for some other purpose.

                      I have been using SC CC for last 3 years. Last month after receiving the annual statement I received an email saying your billing cycle has been changed and we will intimate you for your new cycle soon. Due to this I didn’t made any payment as Standard chartered bank will inform for the new billing cycle. Also I didn’t receive any intimation for my bill due on 15th May. I have activated SMS alert and email for the same. Last month I haven’t received any intimation of my bill due date.

                      This is a wrong communication done by standard chartered by sending an email after the statement saying your cycle has been changed and we will inform you for the new cycle. Also standard chartered guys didn’t inform about the due date of my credit via SMS or Email. Standard Chartered has been doing regularly as I have registered for SMS alert. Today when I called to know my new cycle bank inform that my bill has been overdue.

                      Due to this my statement has been overdue and my Credit history has been affected. Also you bank has charged me interest and late payment charges. This is not fair from the customers point of view. Every time bank have been informing me for my due date via mobile and email and suddenly no SMS alert and no Email alert is not accepted.

                      This is to bring into your kind notice that i sajid husain ( credit card no : [protected]) is using your card since 4 - 5 years, i am a regular user & have done the payments on regular basis without any default or missing the due dates. But since last 4 months ( mar-april-may june) i am receiving the statements very late & due to my personal problems i wasnt able to pay the bank .. this is to request you kindly instruct the person concerened for the reversal of late payment charges & over limit . so that i can clear my bill in the coming statement corrected by yourself .. i think special consideration will be given to me by your end i being a pioneer member, & not being a defaulter.

                      doctor — Not getting statement & charge for late payment

                      Dear Sir,
                      This is to inform you that for the purchase of month of October I have not received any statement in month of November.Till I have not received that statement.
                      In stead, after completion of due date for payment, reoresentative from ICICI bank contacted me & came personally to collect the cheque for my purchase, which I paid immediately & complained him about not getting the statement.He assured me to informed the concerned higher authorities.
                      For month of November, I received statement yesterday.On looking to statement I was really shocked to find that I have been charged rs 400/00 as late payment & rs 485.79 as intrest charges & I have been asked to pay rs 994.43 for nothing.
                      So my impression is that, delibartely bank has not send me the statement & now charging me for late payment as well as intrest charges.So hereby I request you to look in to matter, waive of the charges(wrongly charged on me) immediately & send me the fresh statement stating rs.00/00 as total amount due.
                      I am sure, you will admit the mistake on bank's part intensionaly or not, & rectify the mistake immediately so that we can have long term good relations .

                      MINT — LATE PAYMENT CHARGES

                      My Wife and I allways edeavour to pay the credit card bill before the date that the bill is due. There have been occassions when I have challenged the late payment fee and they have told me that the fee would be refunded.
                      Again today I have challenged the late payment fee/s that are appearing on every bill, to be told that even if the money has been paid into a bank two days before the due date, we would encure a late payment fee as the company would not receive payments till four days after.I was also told that i could not place a complaint as they do not have a complaints department. I look forward to your reply. Glen Reid.

                      MINT — Denied by Hawker

                      I HAD SUBSCRIBED MINT ANNUAL OFFER VIDE SERIAL NO.000837 AND PAID RS.500/- CHEQUE TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND CLEARED BY MY BANK. I HAD TRY TO HAND OVER THE IMPEMENTATION COUPON TO MY HAWKER BUT HE ASK FOR DELIVERY CHARGES. I DENIED FOR THE SAME. I HAD SEVERAL TIME COMPLAINT TO CIRCULATION INCHARG MS.ENGEELA PERSONALY AND ON PHONE ON WHICH SHE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.SINCE MORE THAN ONE MONTH PASSED I DO NOT GET COPIES OF THE MINT NEITHER ANY REPLY.                         Standard Chartered credit card company has been over billing me for past 6 months after a fraud transaction on my credit card. I had blocked the card within 30 mins of the fraud transaction and was issued a new credit card thereafter. Standard chartered is completely aware of this and has promised to resolve after a dispute form is raised and remove from my billing. I have sent them the dispute form in January 2013 and followed up thereafter. They said they did not recieve and hence I resent in April 2013. Still, every month I am being charged the amount and interest on my bill. Infact every month they apologise and confirm it will be resolved next month but that never happens and the interest is being charged to me every month. They have an SLA to resolve disputes within 45 days however it has been 80+ days since I have sent the form (second time) and I have not heard from them. They also promise to reverse the interest and inform me via sms / phone but that never happens. Basically they are not bothered about my complaint and are going on charging me for an unresolved matter from their end. The amount disputed is INR 14189.85 and this was charged in Great Britain Pounds on the credit card. I had the card in my possession when the transaction took place and immediately I informed them. They are being absolutely careless about this and giving false promises.

                          Dear Sir,

                          This is to request you to intervene in the captioned matter. The gist of dispute is as under and the related mails to Stan Chat Bank Customer Service is attached for your perusal:
                          1 I had 2 credit cards bearing no. [protected] & [protected] of SC bank with 2242 reward point to my credit at the end of Jan '13 as per screen print attached.
                          2 I reported loss/misplacement of card no [protected] on 15/12/12 with 1796 points to its credit, which was traced later in house itself.
                          3 The card was deactivated and the points forfeited and activation request on trace of card was declined.
                          4 On 3/4/13 an annual charge of Rs 999/-+ST debited to my other card mo. [protected] which were levied last year also but reversed on protest that the same were not told to me while buying the card due to mis-selling activity. But this time they offered a waiver of Rs 250/- only with understanding that the remaining Rs 750/- will be adjusted from the rewards points to my credit.
                          5 After few days, I found that the details and rewards of card no .......049 have been removed from my log in.
                          6 Having paid each and every penny against usage I stopped using the card no ...........628 with protest for adjustment of points 2242 to my credit in both the cards.
                          7 They kept on posting stereotype replies to my mails with "sorry for delay"without adjusting the poits agst charges.
                          8 They also levied penal intt/chags for non payment of the said Annual fee without adjusting it from points.
                          9 2-3 days ago they have again levied yet another penal/intt charges of 350/-+ST.
                          10 In the meantime I unfortunately lost/misplaced Card no ...628 also under same circumstances but the same has not been de-activated to charge intt/penalty for their own delays/ inaction in adjusting the points.

                          I would therefore request your honor to intervene into the matter and:
                          1 Arrange reversal of penal and other charges which are consequent to delay /inacvtion on their part in adjusting the annual charges agst points.
                          2 Activate Card no .....049 with 1796 points and if the activation is not possible , transt#fer the points to card no .....628.
                          3 Issue alternative card in place of Card no .....628 preferably with no charge.

                          An early action will be highly appreciable.

                            I have queries regarding the amount of payment due on my registered stan charted credit card.What type of services they are providing to customers?                             Credit Card — Information Regarding Credit Card Due Payment

                            I would like to inform you that I have to repay the due amount every month by 8th day. Usually I drop my Cheque for the due payment every month at drop box which is fixed at one shop which is situated at Thillai Nagar 11 th Cross, Tiruchirappalli. 620 018. But this month unfortuntely I am not able to drop the cheque at the same shop which has been closed for the past 4 Days. Please Advice me to drop the cheque any other alternative places at Trichy. Moreover I like to inform you that your due statement repeately giving wrong information to drop the cheque at Deepam Colour Lab, No.45, Sundaram Arcade, OPP.Central Bus Stand, Tiruchirappalli, where they are not accepting your cheque.

                            Standard Chartered Bank — Credit Card Due

                            Sir/ Madam,

                            I have been receiving calls from lady called Pooja from Standard Charted Bank regarding outstanding on credit card due from 2008.

                            In fact i have used 300 Rs buy petrol and i have payed 310 Rs including Surcharges and After that i requested them to cancel the Credit Card, that too 4 times i was on call for more than 20 Min and now they are calling and asking me to pay amount of 2800Rs.

                            I don't understand why suddenly after 2 yrs Standard charted bank has woke up saying there is a credit card balance in my name and also they are calling asking me to take the credit card.

                            In fact they are threatening me by calls to make the outstanding payment.

                            I request for a necessary action against this.

                            I am sorry to say that the after sales service of Linkway Honda is so bad that I cannot refer any new customer for a vehicle to purchase from Linkway Honda, Chandivali, Sakivihar road.

                            I booked my vehicle Honda City VAT during end of January, 2010 with a request that the vehicle should be delivered on 14th February, 2010 (Valentine’s Day) It was a surpise gift for my wife on the auspicious day. But all my plan went into the drain when the Sales Executive informed me on 10th February that it is not possible to deliver the vehicle on 14th February. The reason was my loan was not sanctioned. I submitted all my papers to Linkway Honda & they were suppose to arrange the loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank (recommended by Linkway Honda) & they informed me that Kotak will process the loan faster & they will disburse the amount within 3 days. Kotak was sitting on my loan documents for one week but with no results. I contacted HDFC Bank & there service was good & the loan was disbursed within 3 days. I request Linkway Honda Management to remove Kotak Mahindra from the panel of loan department so that such incident will not happen in future. Even Kotak disclosed all my confidential data with other banks which was a embarrassing situation for me & this spoiled my credit history with other banks.

                            I received the vehicle at the end of February, 2010 from your showroom. I confirmed the timing before taking the delivery. When I came to the showroom for the delivery the work was half completed. Polish was not done for my vehicle & they have kept the vehicle down for delivery. I pointed out this to the sales executive who took the vehicle back for polishing & I with my family & relatives was waiting in the lounge area for nearly 5 hours. I received the vehicle late evening & the pooja of the vehicle was done at late night in the temple.

                            I was asked to fill a feedback form in which I mentioned all these problems. But till today nobody from Linkway Honda called up. I never expected this type of service from Linkway Honda. I came to know that Linkway Honda is a ISO certified showroom. I don’t know how you got the certificate (may be corrupted people are sitting at ISO office).

                            My 1st service was due after 1000 kms. I took the vehicle to Linkway Honda for servicing. Waited at the reception for almost 45 minutes. There was 3 major problems which I explained to the representative 1) when closing the glass the full door starts shaking 2) Leather panel on the right hand side of the drivers seat was not fitted properly 3) Polishing was not done properly. When I went to take the delivery nothing was done. The representative informed me nothing can be done it’s a faulty in all our Honda vehicles. Even the car was not cleaned properly from inside & outside. Worst experience on 1st service. I was totally disappointed (please check the feedback form which I have filled at your office)

                            My 2nd service on 27th May, 2010 again the same problem was told to your representative nothing was done. I asked him what is the service that Honda gives. He informed me that we check the brakes, alignment, oils, etc.. etc.. etc… When Linkway Honda cannot wash the vehicle properly which is easily visible how can we trust that the above things has been done.

                            I request all my friends not to put your hard earned money in buying Honda Cars. After sales service is VERY VERY VERY Bad. Honda should stop manufacturing cars if they cannot detect the problems.

                            I request the management to kindly take up this issue seriously…

                              I had been using SBC credit card since past 2010. I use it for my day to day purchasing. I was very regular in payment. I paid well before due date.
                              In between I had availed SBC loan on card for my personal need. EMI started. I used to made payment well before due date. Payment includes both purchaser as well as EMI. I used make single payment. There was no separate payment for purchase and EMI. But after few months later I have noticed financial charge in my statement. Immediately I have called to customer care and draw their attention on this issue. They started to claim that I have made only one payment it is meant for purchase only. Their claim continued, saying that I had not done payment for EMI. They further claimed that they have notified this in statement.
                              Surprising is before I used make payment altogether. Never did separate payments for purchase and EMI. But this time all of a sudden they start to claim that I had to make separate payment. I repeatedly notify them I have already made payment for total outstanding it includes both purchase and EMI. Excess amount was there in my account. I asked them to transfer it to EMI account. But they never did it. I had request to reversal of charges from my account. No action taken against my complaint. Now they charged overdue charge on financial charge keep on doing it for many months in spite of my repeated appeals.
                              I seriously sense fraud with this bank. Loan was taken on credit card only. Everything is related to one account. They played the game here. Created two accounts and made two separate payment option with never noticeable small note in statement. Why they have made two payment options without prior intimation. Please someone expert put light on it. Is there any RBI guideline about this?
                              My question was why they have not created two separate payment option soon after I had taken loan.
                              Now SBC recovery team is calling and asking me to make payment of around 9400/-.They are threatening me that otherwise they put my name in defaulter list in CBILL. It would seriously make injury on my credit worthiness.
                              I would look for expert suggestion what further action I could take on SCB bank. What could be the best possible solution to end this episode? I would like to know if anybody have faced same problem please let’s share your experience and guide me. I would like to come out from this loop.

                                I WAS ISSUED A STANDARD CHARTERED BANK CREDIT CARD IN COLLABORATION WITH BAJAJ FINSERV SOME 6 MONTHS BACK. IT SHOULD KINDLY BE NOTED THAT IT WASN'T AN INITIATIVE TAKEN ON MY PART BUT ONLY AFTER REPETITIVE CALLS AND PERSUASIONS I AGREED TO HAVE THIS CREDIT CARD (NO: [protected]).
                                AT THE TIME OF ISSUING IT I WAS ASSURED OF FAIR DEALINGS AND TRANSPARENCY , BUT TO MY DISMAY IT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE FULL OF CHEATING AND HIDDEN COSTS . I HAVE BEEN FACING THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS:

                                1. NO STATEMENT HAS BEEN SENT TO ME FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS ( NEITHER BY PAPER NOR BY E MAIL) , EVEN AFTER MAKING SEVERAL REQUESTS . EVERY TIME I CALL THE HELPLINE I AM TOLD THAT I WOULD BE GETTING IT IN THE NEXT 30 MIN, WHICH NEVER CAME.

                                2. SINCE I AM DEVOID OF ANY STATEMENT, I AM NOT AWARE OF THE TRANSACTIONS I HAVE MADE AND THE DATE OF MAKING THE PAYMENT ALSO MISSES OUT , THEN I AM GETTING THE CALLS FROM THE RECOVERY DEPARTMENT ASKING FOR THE SWELLING LATE PAYMENT CHARGES AND OTHER SURCHARGES.

                                3. I PURCHASED AN APPLE I-PHONE SIX MONTHS BACK AND I HAVE BEEN DEPOSITING THE EMI OF AROUND 7500/ ALMOST REGULARLY AND TILL DATE I HAVE DEPOSITED 5 EMIS AND ONLY ONE IS LEFT BUT WHEN I CALL THE HELPLINE , THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHETHER I HAVE MADE ANY PAYMENT OR NOT, ALTHOUGH I HAVE GOT THE RECORD OF 5 RECIEPTS DEPOSITED IN CASH.

                                THE BANK IS NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THE FRUSTRATION OF THE CUSTOMER, SO I HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE THIS MATTER TO CONSUMER COURT AND SINCE I AM NOT AWARE ABOUT WHAT CHARGES HAVE BEEN ACCUMULATING ON MY CARD, FOR NO FAULT OF MINE , I WANT FAIR PAYMENT AND WANT CLEAR CUT STATEMENTS FOR 5 MONTHS . MOREOVER , I WONT BE PAYING ANY LATE PAYMENT, OVERDUE OR ANY SURCHARGE , COME WHAT MAY, SINCE ITS NOT MY FAULT BUT THE BANK'S.

                                  I have been charged for some late fees and some additional charges( which i dont know what it for and not getiing any explanation from bank on it) on my credit card but it shoud not be done as I explained many times to the the Standrad chartered bank but not getting any concrete reply from their end. It was problem from bank end as when i was trying to pay the amount before due date then website is crashing and after that I came to overseas having no access to internet for initial week then also I was laste just by 3 -4 days.I also contacted my reltion manager but no luck yet and he was saying he will not help me in such queries , details as below:

                                  I requested bank to remove all un-necessary charges applied on me as I have already explain on the previous charges(on 20/05/2013, not happy with just 350 Rs adjustment) and this new additional charge date 07/06/2013 comes as surprise. If not, I have no other option to quit with the bank as this is simply not acceptable to treat a preferred customer having salary account with them and having such a gud banking record.

                                  SCB CREDIT CARD — Unnecessary Charges

                                  Would like to inform you that despite my several request to your customer service department (through telephone) I am not getting monthly statement for my above mentioned credit card. It was informed to your customer service desk that I need this statement every month on time to make the payment on time but it seems that your office is not interested in sending the statement to me because they are more interested in charging late penalty and interest on outstanding amount. Several times I informed you that I will not pay any late penalty or interest on the outstanding amount for no fault of mine. So please delete all late penalty charges and interest amount from the bill and send me final bill to make the payment.



                                  Also please issue suitable instruction to your concerned department that they should send me the statement every month without fail so that payment is released on time. I would also like to inform you that I made the payment of approximate amount every month. So I fail to understand why you are putting late penalty and interest on the bill to unnecessarily harass me. Kindly look into this and waive off all late penalty and interest.

                                  Standard Chartered Credit Cards — Unnecessary Late Payment Charges

                                  StanChart Bank Card is the WORST Card Service Your can ever get. These People there are just thieves.

                                  I Have a Statement which shows that despite receiving the Payment 1 Day Before the Due Date, I was Charged Late Payment Charges. Which was reversed. Even if I Drop A Cheque 5days in advance, day do charge late payment charges.

                                  Kindly note: Behind The Bill There are terms and conditions. Which says ' we encourage you to drop the cheque atleast 3days in advance. HOWEVER THE CHEQUE CAN BE DATED OF THE DUE DATE'

                                  On statement dated 10/06/2009, it was addition of Rs. 2500 as upgrade fee debit dated 30may2009 with service tax incl. education cess of Rs. 257.50. So total amount is Rs. 2757.50. Than on received of your statement, I had call to your customer care department on 18/06/2009 at 7.40 a.m. and talk to Rohan. He had given an assurance that your charges will be reverse.

                                  On statement dated 10/07/2009, it was again addition of Rs. 5000 as MMT MONEY SAVER FEE with service tax incl. education cess of Rs. 265.98. So total amount is Rs. 5265.98. Then again on received of your statement, I had call to your customer care department on 28/07/2009 at 10.50 a.m. and talk with shweta. She had given transfer to other department and talk with Jay. The person was not ready to understand the facts that I had not said to any promotion department with using any of the scheme which is liable to pay any charges. After long discuss he told me that I will put the request and given assurance that your charges will be reverse.

                                  But it seems that the charges have been not reverse and also been added unnecessary penalty or interest. Many of people had told me that ABN AMRO had a practice of cheating by way of adding unnecessary charges, so I had stop using after 13may2009.

                                  So I request you to kindly reverse the charges and want an explanation from your end to stop giving mental harassment.

                                  I was credit card last 5 years i have but still am not using 24 month resation iam in out of station my credit card at my home still not use i came to chennai use the card but card is deactive pls active the card useful for me pls kindly active my card.check my repayment schedule

                                  Charged unnecessary on Manhattan credit card - Comment #1835666 - Image #0
                                  being a standard chartered bank credit card holder since 7-8 years, i never failed to pay with in due date. and one payment i did not pay with in due date as i did not get the statement when i saw the portal and they charged me almost Rs 1200 + charges then i contacted customer care for waive off the amount considering the association, then they assured me and asked me to pay the remaining amount and i paid but when it comes to next bill i was surprised o see the other late payment and A3 A4 charges and the again i contacted the customer care many times abut they did not listen properly and say the same thing those are valid charges.

                                  for rs 8000+ they almost charged me Rs 12000+ in a month time

                                  i am not going to pay the rest of the amount except which i am supposed to pay, and i paid the amount.
                                  i have one load account on that card and i was doing separate payments for both accounts and they send separate bills for both accounts. they simply transferred some amount to main card account where i did not even do single transaction and they them selves transferred and some amount to loan account from that main account and started charging late payment A3, A4 charges etc.

                                  completely un ethical and worst customer care ever seen in my life.

                                    i was charged B2OVER LIMIT FEE twice in the same billing period before the due date on 26/4/13 & 14/5/13. although i am not complaining about the first charge but twice in the same bill period before payment due date is not correct. when i asked about the same i got no replies regarding the second charge.
