on 25 June 2013, i got a call from SBI Card division saying that i won as VIP customer offering new gold visa card where i can earn 20% discount on each transaction. they created OTP during my conversation & rs. 7999/- was debited to my card.i was told that this amount i need not pay now it will be adjusted towards future discounts earned. On enquiry from SBI credit card, it was informed that they have no such offer. .BS_Megha_Ttraders_TPSL called me later as i submitted dispute form same day, i informed them that the transaction made fradululently be cancelled. However, so far no response either from SBI Card or ..BS_Megha_Ttraders_TPSL

SBI Credit Card — SBI credit card fraud with me

I am used SBI credit card but in settalment time i call to call center and tell him to settele my card payment.
he tells me plz contact your nearest local office, then i contact him, he tells me you pay 4000 Rs. and your account will setteled.
I paid 4000 Rs. but my account not setteled after that he bothered me to settele my account again paid with 4000 Rs. I am very unhappy with SBI Credit card's transaction.

SBI Credit Card — Fraud in SBI Credit card

On 3rd MArch 2011 i got SMS on my mobile that 3 trnastacion happened via my credit card of amount

INR 1800 /-

INR 80,000/0



out of which first two transtaciton were successfull and thrid was decline due to insufficient funds the surprise was transaction was done to benificary BSES Delhi.

It was a horror as i saty in Mumbai and never done those transactions it was a fraud, I immd called up SBI cards customer care who told me to send them the Dispute form filled with the details , i told them do i need to log the police complain for same to which they denied and said everyhting will be taken care by there team and i don't have to worry.

The night mare starts i wasd following up on status with them on same to which i was told it willtake 45 working days.

One day i get the call from there team who asked me some questions and said that they would get back to me but no one replied back, todat that is 6th April i called there customer care to enquire about the update and to my surprise was told that Case have been closed and i have to pay the amount to which i decline but they instited that i have to pay it and now are asking to lodge a case with police for the fraud why so late why was i stopped earlier when i was doing it.

why i should be penalized for not utlizing the credit

You should file a complain at the police station, and also ask the police to take care of this soon, or else your interest charges will go on increasing day by day if you do not pay the bills.

As stated above, i contacted the SBI card. but now they say that it is genuine transaction and the case was closed.
I received call from SBI card division only and entire transactions made including OTP informing that they are from SBI Card and firstly, they asked me to verify my card details like date of birth, address, mobile no. etc. then they told me visa gold card would be issued to me where i may get 20% each transaction and charged amount would be recovered from discount earned.

However, customer care told me that it was fradulent transaction. i immediately blocked my card and requested to issue new card. i also submitted dispute form. later so called Mega_Traders_TSPL called me to confirm the transaction, i informed them that since it is fradulent transaction, not to sent card and informed them to advise the SBI card to credit my account.

As i am working in a bank, i had settled the amount debited of Rs.7999/- under protest. Further, i had not received the card from so called Mega_Traders. I had searched in google. but details of the same available. SBI card is very well aware of the company since they had registered as merchants.

Since i dont know whereabouts of the Mega_Traders, it is the responsibilty of SBICARD to make them to refund and settle the issue as they are on their merchant list. Therefore i am unable to approach OMBUDSMAN of RBI or Consumer court to file a suit.
Now SBI says that it is genuine transaction though i had made scapegoat. SBI knows that who is Mega_traders since the firm was registered with them I could not find the Mega Traders in google search also. in fact, for verification, the details collected. i had not requested OTP also. Hence it is the responsibilty of the bank to speak to the Mega_traders as i had not received any card from them and credit the amount of Rs.7999/- i paid to SBIcard as advised by it.

The SBI Card is not providing ant information with telephone no.s to enable me to approach consumer court or OMBUDSMAN of RBI.
till now my complaint was not resolved
despite submitting dispute for fradulent transaction, SBI card says it is a genuine transaction and therefore case closed. it may be stated that so called BS Mega_traders pretending to be SBI Card and for verification, it took details of card for OTP generation and transaction. till now i could not get credit card if it is a genuine transaction.
Same experience as Padbidri2010 on 10th November reg VIP card etc. I smelt a fraud, luckily transaction not completed, though they tried to call me several times after that.

SBI cards to investigate into this..
I also had a similar experience yesterday. They had taken details from me stating that they are issuing me a new card without any fees. They require few details for verification for which they took the entire credit card no, cvv, expiry date. They told me that one OTP will be sent on my cell for registration of the card and I was a ill hesitant. So they mentioned that on the OTP it will be mention for registration. I agreed and provided the OTP. Next they said that Rs. 7000 will be debited on my card as a one time fee, which I need not pay and the same will be adjusted against discount every month for which they are sending the OTP.

I felt suspicious and called SBI helpline and was advised to immediately block the card.

The person again called today and was insisting that I should be completing the transaction, to which I told them clearly that I was being false information. To which he said that we never said we are calling from SBI card and he was calling from VISA /Masters. He said that he has the authority to unblock the card through an OTP transaction. He further threatened that if I do not complete the transaction, I will be charged Rs. 15, 000. I told them clearly that I do not want to continue and the oral approval was basis misrepresentation of facts and he got wild and insistent to complete the transaction. I disconnected the call.

SBI - please take this seriously, as many others would be a prey to such pranks.

    No refund of money (Rs 10000/-) deducted from savings account during unsuccessful atm-withdrawal

    I'm Puspendu Teli having a joint SBI savings account (a/c [protected]) with Pratima Teli at Karanjali Brach (branch code: 4701) when tried to withdraw an amount of Rs 10000 (ten thousand) from an UBI ATM at Nischintapur on 06/03/2013 around 08:00 hrs could not receive any cash however surprised to get a receipt with deduction of Rs 10000 from the balance. Immediately, I tried to withdraw Rs 100 to check the problem and did not receive...

    My Name is Ashok Kumar Singh. I am the old customer of SBI Bank (Branch Code - 6651). From past few years I faced lot of trouble from my Account holding branch. Also the Branch Manager is not responding as well as not getting any answer from customer care.

    I opened the Fixed Deposit A/c with State Bank of India, Sector 9 Branch Bokaro. (Branch Code 6651). I am retired from my service, and my income is not falls under taxable. Also I submitted the 15G form for my income declaration to my Account holding branch, but TDS is deducted by branch official from my maturity amount. I logged complain several times with the branch here but nobody is responding. Also I ask for TDS certificate to filed ITR but the branch manager is not giving response to me.

    Problem Description:

    1) Date of Deposit – May 09, 2008
    Amount – 25,000.00
    Deposit period – 36 months (8.5% interest rate)
    A/c Number – [protected]
    Actual Maturity Value – 32,175.00
    Received maturity value – 31,350.00
    Date of maturity – May 09, 2011
    TDS deducted – 825.00

    2) Date of Deposit – February 08, 2009
    Amount – 100,000.00
    Deposit period – 1000 Days (9% interest rate)
    A/c Number – [protected]
    Actual Maturity Value – 127,698.00
    Received maturity value – 123,971.00
    Date of maturity – November 17, 2011
    TDS deducted – 3,727.00

    3) Date of Deposit – September 10, 2010
    Amount – 160,000.00
    Deposit period – 550 days (7.25% interest rate)

    Actual Maturity Value – 178,416.00
    Received maturity value – 177,101.00
    Date of maturity – March 22, 2012
    TDS deducted – 1,315.00

    Total TDS deducted from my A/c is 5,867.00, which should not be deduct from my A/c after declare the form 15G. My PAN no. is Pan No – BLRPS7768A

    Kindly take some action against branch officials which they are not responding/helping to customer and giving them to trouble.

    Thanks to consumer forum, after making the complain here i got the resolution.

    SBI — For not responding

    I am really disappointed for not getting the response of your website
    i would like to request you to tell me some other way to apply for the same

    you damit SBI stupid officers, if you can't run or maintain a website then why you are making the candidates to apply online, just because of your stupid officers, we can't submit our applications or make any print out of the submitted applications, i wasted at least 500 Rs. totally by checking daily on that website to take a print of my submitted application, still i can't, if SBI is running out of money, make your staffs to beg in market, or else send them to red light of bombay, why you are making our money waste like this.

    State Bank of India — Manager not responding

    i am Sivaram parasad B bearing account no. [protected]. For few months i have not used my internet banking and atm card (less than 6months period). now i have to transfer my funds in that bank account to other or withdraw amount. it is showing some restrictions in that account. when i called the branch manager regarding the same many many time he is very irresponsible and not solving it. actually i am away from my home town where it branch is situated thats why not gone in person to the branch. that manager is hopeless very lazy fellow.

    what should i do? to whom i have to complain so that my matter will settle soon and also the lazy manager should get some treatment for his lazyness and negligence in his duty

    There are many sbi employees SATISH(worst than ###).I ever seen that type of worst service or the rudeness.Even some employees don't know local language(Telugu).I don't know how they serve with out know telugu mainly SATISH.

    And he speaks english unbearably even elimentary school children better.

      Sir,
      I wish to inform you that I had dropped a cheque in favour of my credit card, in the drop box provided by the SBI at Panipat Refinery Township on 03.07013. I have been informed by SBI Customers Service Delhi, that they have not recieved the cheque as yet.Now I am being harassed every day by their Delhi Office For non payment.Pl. advice on what I should do.

      SBI Credit Card — Careless handling of cheque

      I dropped a Cheque before due date in the month of September, 2006. It was not come to my bank after 20 days then I contacted credit card people at Pondicherry and they said that I have not signed on the cheque and it was sent to Delhi for mailing to me and requested to pay the same amount with other cheque. On their request I paid the same amount immediately and again requested to send back my cheque to me to refer mistake made by me. For that late period they continue to charge me interest, late fee charges etc. I contacted call centre so many times for getting back my unsigned cheque. They failed utterly to send back my cheque. Without knowing my mistake, I am not ready to pay a single rupee as interest etc. Because of this reason I kept unused by card for the last six months. I am going to complain about this Banking Ambudsman. I request this forum to take up the matter and make me free out of harassment made by the credit card people for payment.

      State Bank of India — SBI Card Payment Related

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      This is with reference to the call I received from SBI Collection department on 27th or 28th March 2008. During the call the exective ( Name : Rajesh from Chennai) gave an offer to me indicating that he has an offer for me that the Bank would waive of certain charges and settle my card due at Rs 8000/- and in the call the executive indicated that the necessary paperwork will be completed and their representative would meet me with the settlement letter on 31st March 2008.

      After this since I have not got any response from the Bank, I notified this to their Telecalling agent (Ms. Radhika) called from their Bangalore number 65357711 and informed about my discussion with Mr Rajesh and Ms Radhika informed they would check with the concerned department and work to close the settlement as offerred earlier.

      Even after my repeated followups, (22nd April with Ms Radhika, 25th April with Ms Preethi, 29th April with Ms Radhika) nothing worked. In one of my calls they indicated that they both belong to an agency by name Shilpa Agency. Therefore I wanted to directly call the Bank's customer care number and called them at[protected] on 29th April and spoke with Ms Rathna, who then transferred to her team lead Kranthi S in whose interrogation i came to know the details dont reflect in their system about the offer made by Mr Rajesh in the month of March.

      On my insistance the team leader Kranthi S gave me the Chennai collection department at[protected] when called on 29th April was answered by Mr Shakthi - Chennai Collection department who said Rajesh is in training and I should call back. Since then I have made several Calls which either are un-attended or are under engaged tone.

      Whowever is monitoring this site to move my grievance to its next level. I look forward for a resolution on this matter.

      I could not pay the outstanding due in my credit cartd due to non employment problem. But I have surrunderd all credit card one year back. Now Banks are asking for settlement which I am unable to do so due non employment . At present I am leaving in bear minimum . I totally bankcrupt. Can you suggest any remedy.

      Sir, I put up the application to The Manager SBI Morar Gwalior stating that the due interest on my PPF a/c has not been credited by SBI Morar in which it was transferred in Feb 20 10 for financial yaear 2009-10. The due interest was also not paid by SBI Narmada Nagar (Khandawa) From where the ppf a/c was transferred for the same financial year. After asking the dealing clerk does not bother even to listen my complaint.

      State Bank of India — non credit of payment

      I have taken housing loan from our Income tax department and made repayment from withdrawal made from my provident fund so that I donot have to pay hefty interst o it. I have made the said payment vide cheque No. 947672 for Rs. 86,000/- DATED 11.2.2009 and Cheque No. 873492 for Rs. 1,10,000/- dated 1.5.2009 paid in the head of A/c 2020 i.e collection of taxes on income expenditure account Code 18-05-02.The nature of the compliant is that the said amount have not yet transfered to Zonal account offcie, ahmedabad.         I want complain against sbi about itsworking and timing that they makes such a advance rule that I never
        hear in any banks

        1. They open bank at 11:30 am. And the hole staff start there works at 12:00
        2.That the main branch of sbi located in Mahal road chhatarpur they say we could not submit my deposit because I had open through SBI ADB so only there my deposit should be submitted and they refused to deposit such a amount
        3. There is no one to listen the complaints not even branch manager
        He is not available even 12:20 pm in SBI ADB Branch chhatarpur

          State Bank of India — WRONGLY DEBITED AMOUNT

          IN MY SAVING ACCOUNT IN THE MARCH 2009 rS.11020-00 HAD BEEN DEDUCTED TOWARDS ATM WITHRAWAL BUT ACTUAL THIS AMOUNT WITHDRWAL IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WITHDRWAN IN THIS FIGURE AFTER SOME MANY COMPLAINT THEY GIVEN A CREDIT OF THE AMOUNT OF RS.11000-00 & RS.20-00 STILL PENDING AND ON 19/08/2010 SBI KARELIBAUG BRANCH HAD DEBITED MY OVER DRAFT ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION AND AFTER MAKING DEBIT ENTRY IN MY ACCOUNT THEY SEND A LETTER FOR INTIMATION REGARDING DEBIT MADE BY HIM.ACTUALLY THEY HAD NOT GIVEN ANY SUCH AMOUNT.SO,THIS IS UNFAIR PRACTICE BY SBI AUTHORITIES TO SETTLE HIS ACCOUNTS.

          I have a savings bank a/c with SBI la martininiere br. a/c no: [protected]. On 1st December,2011 I have tried to withdraw some amounts from ATM of IDBI and then UBI but failed to withdraw. ATM shows insufficient balance. But Late night I withdraw only Rs.3000/- from SBI ATM counter. Next day I inquired at my branch, they told me that you have already withdrawn 23000/- rupees on 1st December. I told them I have tried two times at two ATM counter to withdraw Rs.10,000/- but failed. They advice me to inquire me to contact with ATM dept. They told me to wait 3 days and then to fill up a form regarding that matter. I fall in trouble now. Actually this is my salary a/c.

              regarding sbi credit card — regarding sbi credit card

              As i am possesing the card and also have lot of complaints, as to tell they are exorbitantly charging unnecessary they are charging heavy interest rates which are no where in the world. to bring to your kind notice when my card exhausted they forced for the renewal i did so but to my astonishment they have unnecessarly charged heavily and though the checks for payments are dropped properly still then they call home andtalk harshally when i am not there and they dont have any business to talk to others than the card holders and alsothey say they are going to charge late fee etc.This has really become a problem to consumersand we want to know that they dont have any framed rules to charge the interests which are so exorbitant even money lenders will not charge so much so i kindly say that something should be done for these otherwise the consumers blood will be sucked.and also when we enquired the state bank of india our bank the general manager say s it is nothing to with our bank , this has really confused us and you let me know about. this has really making us like aprick always pricking .so do something to this at the earliest.
              Im not getting my every month statement kindly arrange to send well in advance after bill generating date.

                I had withdrawn 5.5k with my SBI Atm card at Kotak Mahindra ATM but received only 4k..
                I had raised complaint at SBI but ticket has been with message"Your Complaint has been routed to Branch:ATM SWITCH CENTRE for immediate redressal".
                I did not get the amount lost in the transaction.

                My SBI complaint ticket no. AT[protected].

                Please look in to the matter and help to get back the lost amount.

                  I have submitted a request for transfer of my CIF account to SBI , Tilak road, Pune Branch through mail. But till date no responsehas been received.
                  My request was as under:

                  I am holding a SBI Account bearing number [protected] with SBI. This account was opened by me at SBI's Tilak Road, Pune Branch in Feb 2008 as a Salary Account. I am employed in Income Tax Department.On my transfer to Lucknow in April, 2010 I transferred my account to Main Branch Lucknow. And now in 2013 July I again transferred my account to Sector 1, HSR Layout Branch, Bangalore.While transferring my account I came to know that my CIF has still not being transferred from Tilak Road, Pune.

                  Therefore, it is reuested to directly transfer my CIF to "Sector1, HSR Layout Branch, Bangalore, IFSC Code SBIN0030495", so that i can conveniently operate my account in Bangalore.

                    I dont know who would read this or any action would be taken, but I am just offloading my frustation :-)

                    Complaint: Bank not helping to make the SBI Account correction and Loan closure

                    1: I had a car loan from SBI Technopark branch which was closed ahead of time. To be able to get the closure statements (form 35 etc) to make the updates in the RC book, the bank insists that I need to visit the bank. I have had car loans from other banks too. Upon completing the loan-payment, all of them have sent the related documents without even requesting.
                    Various tickets were raised in the bank site. Each time, they close the ticket asking me to contact the bank ('sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in').

                    2. My name is incorrectly titled as Mrs. Its a simple request I am asking them to correct for years now.. Again same response.. Approach the branch to make the correction, I am in the software industry and I know very well that the software built for SBI can be handled by anyone-anywhere and the customer does not have to physically go to the bank for these silly matters..

                    None of the above requests have any financial implication and customer need not visit the bank.

                    I think it's a saddism to troublem people.. I see a lot of this attitude in Governement "servants" and public sector bank employees. Due to same reason, I moved away from them for the home loan.

                        I am Shanti Rani, female,senior citizen, existing member of SBI bank. I am holder of FD number [protected] dated 7/1/11 matured on 15/07/2012. My son regularly goes to SBI bank ,Connaught Circus, B 37/38 second floor from last 11 months but they are giving excuses and calling again and again. Rajiv Prakash,branch manager always says that your request is processing. They told us that we will receive money till 1st January 2013,then they gave us 31st march date. But again they gave us a further date i.e 30th June 2013.They told us to contact David sir ,his phone number is [protected]. They also said that we'll receive money on 30th June but we have not received any money till now i.e. 08/07/2013.They are continuously harassing us. We have spent lot of time and money with respect of conveyance. We request you to take proper action and provide us our due money with proper interest as early as possible.

                            i went to sbi bank in patna at danapur cantt branch. i took form for opening an account and went to a counter for submission, but when i was submitting my form the bank employee told me to come after 1 week ...again i went after 1 week and there i saw him giving stamp on a opening form of some other man, but he refused taking my form and told me to come after one month saying that the above said man was coming the bank for a month then he could open the account ...that means i too hav to go to the bank several times ..say 10 times to open an account inspite of having proper documents ... the man behaved rudely and really i wanted to slap that man... if again he would say the same thing then definitely i will teach him a lesson..

                            similar thing happen in patna at sbi digha branch ..there they told me to come after chhat puja ... now i want to ask why hav u opened the bank i[censored] cant provide service to common people??? plus rough and bad behaviour of employee ... sometime i become so much angry that i want to kill the employee...seriously !

                              Sir, We are having a current account in State Bank of India Chinmaya nagar branch. In the counter no 5 cashier get any time we are depositing the money he was told any time before 12 pm you pay after 12pm we are not taking the cash and also in 3.30 pm after we are not send the RTGS / NEFT that staff are telling. Please do customer satisfy.

                                This is B M Ravichandran.. I am using the Debit Card for purchase the Provisions , fill the fuel...etc.,
                                When I check the Passbook entry ( Its a STATE BANK of INDIA Tiruppur Main Branch Savings Account ).. some of INR 15, 18, & 28 are deducted form my accounts.. in so many times..
                                When I check with SBI Managers .. they told.. it was new for us.. GM Mr. Kandhasamy will come in few days time.. will check with him &
                                he will help to reverse the amount & clarify... like that .

                                But today July 2nd 2013 - when I check with Mr. Kandhasamy.. He simply told.. I do not know.. it may be surcharge for the Fuel Fulling
                                like that.. When I ask.." How it can be deduct without customer knowledge ... even though.. its a surcharge also.. " like..
                                He told. ".in this matter.. what ever you know ... the same thing .. I also .. know.. so ..I can't do anything on this ..". like

                                Then I told.." its your responsibility to.. make customer.. satisfy &give proper details..."like ... he answer silmply..
                                " Then DON'T Fill the Fuel.. with the help of this CARD.."....like that

                                I do not know .. what is the responsibilities... these MANAGERS holding ..?!?!

                                  This is to complain and bring to your kind notice that State Bank of India , Hanuman Nagar Branch , Kankarbagh Patna is not interested in opening the account of college students and school students and demands only PAN to open the account . Is it not feasible to open their account on the basis of other documents including college Identity cards etc. What other I-proofs instead of PAN is required this may kindly be explained to SBI Hanuman Nagar Branch so that they could not discourage the students and people alike from opening the account.

                                  I am a student of NIT Sikkim, which is in Ravangla town, Sikkim. Since in this Ravangla town there is no ATM, I have applied for opening a new account in SBI Ravangla branch on 16th of August. It is very challenging for me to receive my money for all institutional and private works from my parents. But till the date, account has not been opened. In this mean time I had claimed for the delay for around five times till now, but instead of taking care of this matter they used rude behavior and also ordered to open the account in any other bank. For your information, there is no any other bank in this town. So, for this serious issue I kindly request you to take some severe action so that my account get opened as soon as possible.

                                    I received a call from the sbi card on Saturday, 29th June 2013. They asked me for the verification of the card for smooth functioning of the card. I gave them the details of my card. When they asked me for the ccv number, first I declined to give that. The person on the other side told me, that it is necessary for the verification. I still said that why should I give that. Then he said that sir you can trust me and I will be sending you one sms. You tell the password coming in that sms. Then only your verification will be over. After arguing 2-3 times I gave him the ccv number and the password also. Then he said your verification is over and my senior will call you.

                                    After some time I received the call from his senior. He told me about one offer which I said I am not confirming. If I want the offer I will call you later. After some 2 hours, I received a call from some other executive and she told me that Rs 5500/- is already deducted for the offer from your account. On telling her that I don’t want the offer, she said now nothing can be done as money is already deducted from your account and you have no other option but to accept this offer from your side. I asked her to connect to her higher up, whose name was Himanshu Saxena. He said you have no other option because now the amount is already deducted and if you cancel the offer you will only get rs 1200 back. Then having no other option I asked them to send whatever is there in the offer.

                                    I think this is the way how these people have cheated us for Rs 5500. Please try that they should not be allowed to cheat people like this as this is a big fraud and the SBI card is losing its credibility like this. I am surprised that even we have made a mistake for believing SBI card center call but why our card detail and phone number is shared by the SBI card to others. This is total fraud and SBI should see that such things shd not happen in future to any body
