Wrong cake received and spillage issue with cake

I ordered a cake from Good bakery Lucknow through Swiggy. Order number is[protected].

The cake I ordered is Choco fans mini cake and I got sinking fruit mini cake.

First of all I received a different flavoured cake with a lesser cost value and it was completely spilled from one side. I complained about it to Swiggy for replacement of cake but all I got is an apology after 10 hours of waiting and no other resolution....

Fake BUY 1 GET 1 coupon scheme, fine print says you actually add 2 items to get a free 3rd one which has to be the cheapest available item on the list.
Its the usual anti-consumer scam, along with countless "discounted" products with slashed prices that actually weren't that high.

      I have placed order through Swiggy of 808 in Santosh daba, Nacharam, they told the items are not available we’re they did not mention it in menu and payment was deducted. Later Swiggy called and asked me to cancel the order and told they will refund that amount. In Swiggy app the status of refund is completed it is showing and when I check my bank statement it is not reflecting. I spoke with Swiggy customer support, firstly they were very reckless in responding and then later they are least bothered to solve my problem. They lifted hands that it is bank problem, but all my other transactions and refunds connected to my bank account are successfully initiated and I got money from others but Swiggy’s amount I am not able to claim. They even not responding my Issue and asked to share my bank statement to them were I have shared which is my personal also. They are not responding properly

        I placed an order on Swiggy on MAY 8/05/ 2022, for an order value of 587.
        order id #[protected]

        The order was cancelled due to I available. I was told I will expect a refund within 2 hours. Which I thought was unreasonable because payment back to original method (UPI in my case) should happen instantly. Nevertheless I waited for 2 days and as on today and counting… there is not sign of the refund.

        I have lost track of how many times I have reached out to the customer care executives, explained the same thing half a dozen times and got scripted responses like “we apologise” etc. but my issue remains unresolved.

        I was even asked to share my bank statement to prove my claim of non receipt (as if I was lying), which ai reluctantly did by sending it to an email provided by Swiggy. Forget a response, I have not recd an acknowledgement of the email I sent including bank statement which is private information.

        I am not sure if they would bother to reply even here as I think they have lost all sense of customer service (barring sugarcoated responses).

        I have uninstalled the Swiggy app pending closure of this. My sincere suggestion to all readers… be very very cautious dealing with Swiggy. I for one have decided to stop, unless adequately compensated not just for the refund, but also for the harassment and lies I have been subject to.

          Iordered a butterscotch flavoured cake from Cafe Coffee Day via Swiggy.The cream on the cake was stiff and stale, even the cake tasted like medicine and nailpoilish .After one bite i did not continue to consume the cake and contacted swiggy with my complaint.I had chat converstion with 5 representatives and 1 phone call .They said it was a packed food and nothing could be done, I asked for a manufacturing date and expiry if it was a packed food but they denied providing me the same .
          In my knowledge all packed food are labelled with manufacturing and expiry dates .
          I also tried contancting Cafe Coffee Day but got no response for the same .
          No compensation in cash or kind was offered by Swiggy..
          i want to get refunded or compensated in kind via some coupon worth my spent money

              Refund Processed, but no update and amount not received

              Hello Team,

              I had placed an Instamart order on Swiggy on the 10th of March, 2022. For some reason, the order was cancelled and I was informed that the amount would be refunded.               Not paying refund for rotten food

              I have ordered food in BBQ Nation coimbatore townhall branch. They delivered me rotten, foul smelling food. I have asked swiggy to take my order back and refund my money. All they did was giving me auto response that as per their policy they can refund 50% of the amount. I really wonder why would anyone still pay 50% for rotten meat. Already registered complaint againe this restaurant in fssai....

                Hi,
                I ordered a midnight delivery of cake for my family member as a surprise.But as he was not home, I asked delivery boy to keep the order with the gate keeper .The delivery boy did not leave the order but marked the delivery status as "DELIVERED" .Now I have been chasing them for my order refund.No response saying that is not an active order .You should have contacted with in 5 hours time.

                  I ordered for Instamart Groceries, but haven't recieved what I ordered.
                  So I complaint to them and they asked to wait for 6 hrs and after 6hrs they are asking for more 6 hrs.

                    I have ordered from 99 bowls and the delivery is marked as done but the prder has not been delivered the delivery has been marked as delivered at 2:27 pm on 6th may but the agents entry at the security to the society is at 2:40 pm 6th may how can he mark the item delivered 10 minutes before even he entered the community. And when called back to ask the same to the delivery agent he harrased me and behaved disrespectfully. I spoke to customer care executives and also mailed to email support of swiggy but there is no response. Please help me with this situation i am left woth no choice but to approach consumer forum i hope atleast this forum will help me get a resolution

                      I placed my order at 12.00 for my younger brother

                      I placed it a near by restaurant which is 500 meters from my house
                      Delivery person picked my order at 12.15 and he completely vanished. Not lifting any calls neither from the customer representative who called them multiple times.

                      Is been more than 2 hours and he is starving. Is this why Swiggy is for .
                      Just to take hard earned money and make us starve all night .
                      Is this how you hire delivery partner?
                      If this would have happen to your family would they be happy?
                      If the food was for a person not well?

                        Hello,

                        I order food items from Swiggy on February 22, 2022, and the cost of the Food was Rs 655/-, but at the time of delivery, the Food packet was tampered there was spillage. The pack was not good and as per the instructions I have provided all the necessary photos but still, the Swiggy refused to provide me with a refund. The Food was totally spoiled and till now I am requesting a refund but they are not responding to my E-Mails. Please help me to get a refund for my order.

                          Items are missing from my many orders from Swiggy Instamart and restaurants orders .no complaints have been taken seriously and no refunds are provided.
                          Chat with the customer care executive is very bad they don't reply time make your chat hold for hours and complaints are not solved.

                                We ordered cake on the evening of 1 May 2022 (order no. #[protected], which was provided with a detailed address. the delivery boy called and wasn't keen on delivering the item and kept saying he is not local and would not be able to deliver if its too far. We gave him verbal instructions to reach the place along with sharing of the live location to make it easier for him to navigate. He kept stalling for a while and around an hour later we get message on the Swiggy app that our order has been cancelled. On calling Swiggy customer care they said the order was cancelled because we did not respond, but that was not the case. Also later we get the message saying the address was not deliverable after deduction of the order amount, which is very misleading as if the address is not deliverable, they shouldn't have have taken the order in the first place. The swiggy customer care gave us the compensation with a 50% amount coupon valid for 30 days. Their reasoning for it is that they had to compensate the cake shop for food wastage. Also the customer care weren't helpful and suggested to email them.
                                My point is it is unjust for me to suffer the loss because of the incompetency of the delivery person and the cake shop to deliver the item even after giving all the necessary details. The cake was for my cousins birth day which it never made to which ruined our celebration. And as far as food wastage is concerned cake is not perishable within hours and for all I know the delivery person would have taken it back to resell. I have all the evidence to prove my point including the call log, live location sharing and emails and their replies between swiggy customer care and me,
                                I found their behaviour fraudulent as the compensation was given in form of a 50 %coupon, which basically compels me to deal with this incompetent and fradulent service again which I do not want and also suffer the loss without any mistake of mine. I want my full refund in form of money and not in form o[censored]seless coupons.
