Sir/ma'am,

This complaint is in respect of order no. #[protected] placed by me through swiggy, to wat-a-burger, lajpat nagar.

At the time of placement of the order, wat-a-burger promised a flat discount of 50% on all purchases above rs. 99, while at the same time it had a few bogo category items as well.

I faced two issued, which could not be resolved after i tried to chat to a customer representative online. They are:

(I) i ended up getting only 1 bogo item, instead of two. The website interface and the options on display simply did not work, and no matter how many times i tried, the second item simply did not end up in the bill. It was a complete waste of the bogo deal.

(Ii) secondly, i had added a shake to go with the bogo items. The net bill came around to rs. 408 (Excl. Taxes and other charges), but instead of getting rs. 204/- off (Which would have been 50%) i got only rs. 114.50 off. I still don't know on what basis this discount was calculated.

Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to address the issue, i was simply told that coupons expire once cart items are edited. I found that explanation unsatisfactory (Since i did not physically apply any coupon anyway).

The matter does not end there. For some strange reason, when the delivery was eventually made, i ended up with 3 burgers and the shake, even though, technically, on paper, was entitled to only 1 burger and 1 shake. The entire episode is mysterious and devoid of explanation, and i would very much appreciate a clear and logical explanation.

Happy to hear back from Swiggy's Escalation team who were equally baffled by the entire episode. Investigations revealed that the case was one of "misdescription" where the store (Wat-a-Burger) failed to clarify that (1) The 50% discount overall could not be clubbed with any other offer (such as BOGO) and (2) the discount was capped to a certain maximum amount. It is hoped that customers who order through Swiggy are conversant with the way in which discounts work in order that they may not have to go through the same ordeal as I did. Nonetheless, the quick response of Swiggy is appreciated. Thanks.

      Hi swiggy,

      I had placed an order with order number
      #[protected] with swiggy. But swiggy had sent a fantastic illiterate delivery boy named ronny narwal to deliver my order. So i came down to pick my order, and waited for more than 15 minutes but i found nobody there. Then i have called him several times, he didn't pick the call. Then i got a doubt that he might have done something with my order #[protected].

      With deeply frustrated i went to my place and had a chat with ananta (Customer care) from swiggy, where i couldn't get any solution. This order being a prepaid order (Paid through paytm). The delivery boy had some other better plans. After being cheated very badly. I talked to the ananta and she did not even refund my money that's why i drafted this complaint.

      My agony, my anger, my frustration are of no use in front of your awesome service. But still i have cursed you to the utmost level i can because i was so much hungry.

      Please investigate and bring me my justice.

      And this is the second time happening with me +91-[protected] is the number of that delivery boy and +91-[protected] is your executive number which is also not picking up the call.

      Please please, never do this again else you will not sustain in this market. Thanks hoping will get justice soon, and find below the order which i placed and inturn got absolutely nothing till now.

      This is the highest point of escalation. Treat this as topmost priority
      I received the food competely spoiled, when i complained they said it is packaging issue and restaurant has ti take care without giving me a replacement . The restaurant earlier didnt deliver the full.item .

        Hi,

        I ordered shakes worth for rs 800 to location ngv, koramangala, bangalore. However swiggy rider went to different wrong location and swiggy customer care themselves cancelled order and deducted 200 rs. This is highly disappointing and i wanted to raise complain against swiggy as it has reoccurred multiple times.

          You need to tweek your delivery system, by inserting sms oon fulfilment from hotel which we r ordering. So u can track when the food is got picked up and then track the route of the delivery boy to check when its switched. It’s a concern to most if the restaurant from where you order doesn't get delivered with the same quality standards. This specific case was some time back from china valley, prabhadevi. When i visited the place yesterday i talked to the owner on this issue. He too mentioned of lot of customers complaining and he intends to stop swiggy delivery. That's a business loss for you isn't it.

          I had got refund on that so that's not the issue. I am sending mail only as a feedback not a complain. Please note being a well wisher of swiggy.

            There were order done from my end. Order # 47625617, this order first confirm by swiggy and after some time driver reached on restaurant and come to know tis closed. And than order cancelled by swiggy. At that time my guest was waiting for it. And i was very much disappointed. I want to know why this happens?

            This is not acceptable at all. Please give me proper reason for this.

              Hi,

              I'm srikanth. I had refund related issues. The associate name is gayatri parameswaran. She is not all customer friendly, she assumes us as dumb persons, without asking do you have any more concerns, without mentioning i'm closing this conversation. She closed the conversation. Actually i have some more concerns, i was typing but conversation is closed. This is way too more than arrogance. This is not at all acceptable. We loved swiggy and paid for even super subscription, but these days because of some arrogant employees like her swiggy is losing it's value.

              How can someone accept it? Even some sim customer care associate ask us do you want to know anything more? And they mention we are closing it as you don't have any more concerns. Too much appreciatable. But without asking, without mentioning closing a conversation is not all acceptable.

              It has taken place on 31/07/2019 around 9am. The order id: [protected]

                Hi team,

                Would like to update you that i have made an order on swiggy through amazon pay however the transaction was declined on 25th july'19 at 12:42 pm and as discussed with swiggy they informed that the amount will get credited in amazon pay balance with in 5 days however till date the amount has not yet got credited. Post discussion with them today again, they informed that they are not able to see the amount in there gateway and hence requested to share my bank statement from 25th july till date which is totally illogical as bank account has noting to do with amazon pay or swiggy. They are totally fooling the customers and without providing proper resolutions they disconnected the chats.

                Request your help in getting the issue resolved.
                Received chicken in egg biryani this is the not the first time for me with swiggy very worst service am an eggeterian but they always serve me with chicken worst ever I need a strong resolution regarding the same my order id is [protected]

                  Pathetic customer care support form swiggy
                  Hi, i had placed an order for chilli chicken with swiggy on the 29th july 2019 at 8.04 pm, the order number is [protected]. The cost of the order was 198 and the same was paid through google pay.

                  I received a call from an delivery agent at 8.16 to say that the order was getting delayed, and asked me if i can cancel the order for which i clearly informed him that i shall wait and he promised to have it delivered. After a couple of mins i saw that the order was reassigned to another agent, then again after a couple of mins it was reassigned to another, this kept on happening for some time until the order was reassigned to about 5 agents. I then contacted the customer care team via chat to check on the status; they informed that the order was facing some issues and that they will check and have the same delivered asap.

                  I waited for more than an hour and then i checked with the support team again, they kept on giving me the same promise that the order will be delivered asap.

                  After about 30 mins i got a call from a delivery agent to check if the order was received and he informed me that the order has been picked up by the 1st agent long back.

                  I then contacted the customer care and spoke to an agent named ganesh, he told me that he has tried to contact the restaurant and was not able to, so he then asked me to cancel and reorder, i refused as i had already made the payment and secondly i had already waited for more that 2 hrs.

                  He then promised me to contact the delivery agent and make a payment form swiggy's end and have the order delivered. After a couple of mins i again got a call from a delivery agent to say that swiggy has asked him to make a payment of 173 rs and get the order but the restaurant is charging him 210 rs so he is not ready to pay.

                  I again had to call customer care and after a heated argument was transferred to a supervisor named vignesh, he informed me that there was some issues and that they will have the food reordered, after a couple of mins he replied that the restaurant is not accepting any order and that i need to cancel the order, i was not ready to do the same as the time was around 11pm and i had already waited for more than 3 hrs for this order.

                  He informed that the order needs to be cancelled and that he will initiate and refund and that it will take 4 to 5 business working days for with i disagreed because am sure swiggy is not going to accept if i say please deliver the food and i shall pay after 4 to 5 days.

                  He then told me that he will provide me with a coupon, i disagreed to the same as well because i placed an order and spent more that 3 hrs and never would i want to commit the same mistake again.

                  The status of the order is still open as i have not to cancel the order without my permission.

                  The current status is the order is still open since 8 pm (27/07/2019) and i still have not received any calls and updates from swiggy. It looks like they are not bothered about customer satisfaction; here i am after having made a payment, not knowing what happened to the same.

                    My name is priya on 1 june 2019 i order from swagath grand habsigudafor 561 rupees. After payment order got cancelled saying we don't deliver your location. Contacted swiggy they said it's in payment gateway reached out to bank. So then i reached out to bank they said they have reversed the same but amount not credit. They told swiggy to provide written statement. Kindly reply
                    I was asked by the delivery guy to pay an extra 20 rs when i had already payed the charges and when i refused he was verbally abusive and forced me to pay the money as for his petrol allowance
                    He started using fowl langugae at me and refused to give me the food until i payed his petrol chargea

                    Swiggy order no. #[protected] has been cancelled from roll point. Just because he didn't found address. so why should the cancellation charges are payable form customer

                      I have ordered food from dominos using SWIGGY and after 2 hrs also they are unable to deliver the same. I had a chat with the support executive but they were unable to give any information regarding the delivery and suddenly my status got updated as food has been delivered. I am prime member of swiggy and thsi happened twice with me for dominos.

                      This is very unethical; that u have added a restaurant in your list and not able to share delivery status. when requested to cancel the order, they were unable to do the same as well. Hence I am again placing a complaint keeping all my work aside so the I can get back my hard earned money.

                        These people are absolutely fraud never ever order things from swiggy on any other payment method except cash that too after verification of all products in d hand of executive delivering d same.. I have many times faced issues but nvr had a issue like this of missing order.. I have been charged through patym n order is not delivered nor i m compensated n along with this d executives talk to u so rudely n for d way of ignoring the request they blame u for ur past order history.. This is horible.. I was charged n people people made me left hungry n suffer d whole day i had suffered with gastric issues n had to visit d doctor for d same as all d money was pooled in d order n no refund for reorder r a reorder was done.. This is so mean n cheap statics of swiggy against customers earlier we thought its a random mistake but now its getting worse day by day.
                        Order has been cancelled by swiggy and i got half refund. what a fake policy!. get updated your system.
                        We made on order of 659 on 17 jul in ghaziabad. The delivery boy did not come did not ring the bell or no calls made. Order cancelled at their end. Charges 200 rs for no reason. Hell service and even order was not good...

I had ordered yesterday with swiggy and due to the incompetence of their services they took more time than it actually should. A representative from swiggy called me after an hour long of waiting to tell me that my order can not be processed. And therefore he cancelled my order. Since yesterday my refund is not reflecting in my bank account. They take our money within a second and tell us to wait for weeks for the refund. Order no was - [protected].                           I ordered food on Monday and due late delivery cancelled. The refund has been initiated. Still now it is not credited to my account. Unable to reach customer as well. Chat support bot is answering no human.
                          Not receiving orders instead of login 8hrs whats problem i have changed my timings otherriders are getting continus orders on what basis orders are getting from morning 7.30 am to4pm not even one one order whats the problem
                          Delivery person is not capable to find address and reach to customer its not mean that cancel order without customer confirmation and up on cancellation you refund half amount to customer without fault of customer is not way to provide service.
                          Order has been cancelled by swiggy and i got half refund. what a fake policy!. get updated your system.

                            I am a regular customer of swiggy. I am generally ordered minimum time from swiggy. Today i ordered my dinner and wait 1hr for the food. At last delivery boy call me and ask about my location then i confirm that there was a issue in gps that's why i have already put my detail address with landmark. After some time i have received a call from swiggy and had a concall with your executive and delivery boy. Delivery boy rudely say that he will not deliver the order. When i ask to your executive what is the status of my order then your executive replies that my order is cancelled due to delivery boy deny to deliver.

                            After one hour waiting its already 10.30 pm where most of restaurants are closed. I am really disappointed in this activities of swiggy delivery boy and also the strategy of delivery process where executive is unable to help customers.

                            It was a bad experience with swiggy.

                                  I am from gorakhpur (Uttar pradesh). My order number is [protected]. I ordered 10 pcs rasgullas from chowdhary sweet house via swiggy on 28/07/2019. I had invited guests at my home and co-incidently i tasted one of the rasgullas before their arrival. The delivered rasgullas were sour. I want full refund from the company as well compensation. I would not recommend anyone to place order of perishable milk items online. They cheat in this case.

                                      I have recently ordered pizza, but when i received the pizza box the food was literally hanging out of the box. When i opened the box the food was really cold and the bill was literally placed on the pizza. The food looked like the leftovers.

                                      When i tried contacting the customer service all i got were the regret messages, and thet were unable to compensate for the order. I have literally threw away the food. The appeal just don't look eatable.

                                      I would like to ask on a serious note that i receive a proper explanation for not receiving a compensation and the waste of money and time which is taking ages for the customer support to respond to a query.

                                        I am super member of swiggy i am using swiggy 5-7 orders per day i also receive a swiggy mail that i am vp now this is not the first experience from swiggy that the incovinience cause to me back to back but today is the heights i placed order from moti mahal deluxe and the page is showing that order is confirmed and the delivery executive is assigned but as i am talking to swiggy executive on chats they will tell me that order is not placed on restaurant app as it is showing on page that order is confirmed so i am talking to him tht it's been 1 hour i want my order it's 10:30 pm but he again n again saying me that order is not placed after few minutes arguing with him i received an call from swiggy n the executive is saying items are not available at the restaurant i tell him that why are you lying both of you saying different reasons but he is stuck on his conversation that items are not available and no alternative items are available how can he do it like this not expected from swiggy you are losing your daily customer i want an action against it nd i am going to put all of these on social media that this happens to me and also i share screen shot to executive that it is showing me that order is confirmed but he is stuck i am disappointed very disappointed from swiggy...
