Yesterday, l had placed an order of one plate chicken afghani tikka and one plate chilly chicken boneless for dinner through swiggy. I had paid 100% payment of rs. 1081 online and in advance. The time for placing my order was around 9, 00pm. The order was supposed to be delivered at 9.35pm.

At 9.35pm i checked with swiggy representative as well as nazeer foods, who were supposed to fulfill the requirements. To my surprise i was told that nazeer foods confirmed that they had not received any order from swiggy!! Nazeer foods asked us to get in touch with swiggy. So i got in touch with swiggy through the chat. The chat was continously mentioning that your order is in progress (I have snapshots and voice recording of each and every conversation)

At 10.35pm i again checked with nazeer foods and to our surprise, they mentioned that they have not received any order from swiggy!! We went to the chat and complained, but we did not get any resolution.

At around 11.00pm, we were told that our order is cancelled, since nazeer foods is not ready to service the order at that point of time!!

Following is what i need to know from swiggy :

1. Why did the above happen?
2. My online payment of rs. 1081/- is yet to be refunded. Why??
3. We were harassed by swiggy by their poor customer communication / laid back approach / taken for granted attitude. Why?
4. There were guest in my house and i had to take them outside at 11.00pm in the night for dinner, for which i had to pay three times the money!! Who will pay for the losses i incurred, for no fault of mine.
5. Nothing was communicated proactively to me, it was me who had to be after swiggy to get my food. Why???

If a proper answer to my above question does not reach me by today evening 5.30pm and my payment does not reach me in the next 3 hours, ie. By 1.30pm, i will take up this case to the consumer forum.

    We had order from tikka junction restaurant karkardooma through swiggy.
    And we have found one item which cost rs 390 missing in our order. Also we got uncooked chinese food like manchurian and spring roll.
    Restaurant owner and delivery boy is denying for this mistake.. Even we had a 30 min call with deepak kumar from swiggy and he said we cannot help you in this matter..
    I am frustrated with this service.
    As a first time customer this experience is really bad.
    They are crooked and not supportive.
    I am really disappointed from swiggy.
    When i called swiggy directly, teamlead of that team directly threaten me that "i do not cook food how can i tell you about this"
    Is this a way to talk a customer like this.
    I am totally fed up with this service.
    I am not gonna let you go like. This.

      My swiggy order no. #[protected] for rs. 372 is expected to arrive in by 8:10 pm on the 25th of august 2019. It was delayed by a lot and got arrived only at 9:30 raised a question to the consumer care executives and one person said action would be taken but nothing happened. Later i had to contact again and only then a delivery boy was assigned.

      When people rely on you guys for services, please make sure you provide them with the quality services they deserve.

        Regarding order id - order id [protected]
        On august 7th, i had requested a food delivery of rs 236 and made the payment. The payment failed from swiggy's interface. Neither i received the food i ordered nor i got a refund of the amount that was debited.
        I have raised the complaint several times but, the customer service is extremely non-cordial. The customer service put me on hold for long hours without a resolution or any clear answers. Even today i complained multiple times and escalated it. I have sent the screenshot of the proofs for the payment that was debited. But still no resolution.

          I placed an order on swiggy with order number [protected] on 25 august, 2019. After receiving order they generally call to confirm but i didn't received any call.
          After half an hour when i called delivery boy he told that my order was cancelled because i didn't respond to their call and cancellation fee was also charged.
          They charged a wrong cancellation fee for which i'm complaining and claiming the refund of the same.

            I ordered pizza from domino's by applying swiggy40 discoust. After discount it costed me rs 140. When i went to take the parcel from the delivery man, the bill showed there was no discount. And it costed rs 227. I checked my order details, it changed, and showed no discount was applied. This is absolutely ridiculous that after giving a discount, you are showing no discount, and we have to pay more money.
            As a student we can't pay full money and this time i feel really deceitful by your side.
            I want stringent methods to be taken for this. It would be appreciable if you refund my money.

              I ordered pizza from dominos by applying 40% swiggy discount and it costed me rupees 205 after discount. The original price was rupees 304.50.
              But we had to pay rupees 305 even after applying the coupon swiggy40 as it was not mentioned on the bill as well as on the order details on the site.
              It was really disgusting and deceitful. I want stricter and quick response from your side. It would be appreciable if you refund our money back.

                Hello Sir/Ma’am,

                I am writing to complain about order no. #[protected]. Swiggy was unable to deliver this order at the desired location due to which they cancelled it later. However, the customer care assistant agreed that they will not charge any cancellation fee as it was their fault. Although after the agreement, they still have charged cancellation fee of Rs. 200.

                I would be grateful if you could please take the required action and ask Swiggy to refund the full amount i.e. Rs. 419.

                  I have ordered my food from swiggy and the delivery person refused to deliver the food. I raised the concern with the swiggy support executive but they were not able to help me and kept me waiting for 2 hrs and then cancelled my order and offered me bribe of 100 rupee coupon for their failure. And i mark them responsible for skipping my dinner meal. Also i have attached the snips of my chat with swiggy support executive.

                    It is 11:58 now. Still waiting for food to be delivered.
                    Restaurant is saying swiggy guy picked up food.
                    Swiggy guy's phone switched off.
                    Swiggy customer service executive, unable to help.
                    Assigned another guy to pick up food. He's also not able to deliver.
                    Swiggy supervisor contacted. Phone disconnected and no return call.
                    Is swiggy going in loss, so taking money from customers and not delivering???

                      I missed my food of rupees 480 and swiggy is telling me that we will give u a coupon of rupees 300... They are not refunding money instead of that they r giving me a coupon that also of 300rs instead of 480rs... The wrost application i hve seen in my life...😡... And there is no responsible person to give us a proper solution in customer care service...

                        Today on the promotional campaign of swiggy india on instagram those who will comment first on the post of chair will get amazon voucher and this is second time i had commented first but instagram of swiggy has declared winner to some other person.
                        And also on one post no winner was declared and on that post also i was the first to comment.
                        And one more think i had noticed that all the amazon voucher are given to your near ones of the swiggy india instagram handler as there were no comments of the winner. These all comments are inserted in a technical way which is very unethical.
                        I hereby attached the screenshots of my comments which i had taken after few seconds.
                        I want my voucher of winning amount otherwise i will take necessary legal action you under "unfair trade practises act".

                          The executive was very rude and talking nonsense over phone to identify the address. He is unable to find address, i asked to seek help from anyone near him on road, he says do i need beg?
                          What is he taking, he doesn't how to talk to customer.
                          If he is not interested in doing his job, as him to leave.
                          Pathetic experience...

                            I have order one pastry, by mistake i have putted incomplete address, still they have accepted order and debited money as well. at the time of delivery they are complaining your address is not right, I strongly want to understand while accepting order why they don't verify whether this address is reachable or not / valid/ incomplete or incomplete, without any validation randomly accept it and not ready to refund.
                            if they get wrong address how could they send me the receipt with successful delivery .

                              I placed an order for someone's birthday at mid night.. And due to technical glitch from your end the order was placed twice and same my payment was deducted twice for the same.
                              I did not bothered that, but then the order that was delivered was a complete disappointment and embarrassment as the entire cup cakes were ruined and i made complaint for the same.
                              However another disappointment they refunded me only one payment and denied for refunding the other payment on making enough number of requests.
                              So i was charged unnecessarily with my money and embarrassment in front of the one for whom i ordered a birthday treat.
                              Is this how you treat your customers.
                              There is no customer relationship management
                              I have ordered Butter Naan-2qty and Paneer Butter Masala-1qty.
                              But i have received different Non Veg Items. I have reported regarding the same issue with swiggy but no resolution has been provided. Please help me to get the money Back.

                                This is really unacceptable that i got a non veg meal instead of a vegetarian meal i ordered and i am allegedly harassed. I'm ardent vegetarian and never had non veg ever in life and this restaurant almost ruined out my purity by doing this. My family has followed this culture from very long time and they never let me have it when i was a kid and i kept on maintaining this culture. How can you send a non-veg food to a pure vegetarian. This can not be counted in a mistake, this is a blunder. Even i never had dinner/lunch with my non-vegetarian friends. I never wanted them (Birds/animals) to be killed for my lunch/dinner. You know this comes in rarest of rare categories case in the consumer forum. I look forward to hearing from you a better way you can short out this.
                                The ice cream carried by the Delivery boy was help upside down resulting in the ice cream being all spilled out. Can't have ice cream like this .
                                Kindly refund my money
                                Last night I will be order the food and Long time waiting the order not deliver and will be cancelled the order and why 200rs cancels charge paying for it

                                  I have ordered veg biryani and i have got chicken pieces in that, me being from brahmin family it is considered sin for us.

                                  We have specifically ordered veg but still got chicken such ridiculous
                                  I am complaining about the wrong food i recived ..I ordered 2 plates of kadhi chawal and the food i recived was rajma chawal. I am very disappointed with your service litterlly it was my first time with swiggy and u made it disaster..Kindly take my complain i want my refund ..

                                    I Just wanted to bring you some notice who all working for swiggy specialy social media agents, Names are # Neil, Saurav, Surya, andy, snash, syed, sujeet and sharon.

                                    Now let me explain you the story # Order id [protected] on sun 11 Aug 23:38 hrs food delivered time 12:00.

                                    I have ordered food from near by place, after some time delivery boy came and provided food... I have checked the packing and said delivery boy i have ordered 3 times and her i can see you brought only 2 packets.

                                    Delivery boy said what all you ordered i brought, Said me complaint on chat and he left.

                                    Then i went to chat and found some lady... I dont know her name but she left the chat saying your issue resolved saying we have processed order...

                                    I dont know my order was delivered at mid night 12:00 and they re-ordered again with reference # [protected] at 00:07 and left chat...

                                    i waited for some time and cancelled order at 00:23 DUE TO ORDER showing getting conformation from hotel...

                                    If hotel conform the food and the delivery should been around about 01:30 PM mid night.

                                    Her the story on 11th i was there with chat team will 2 i hope. No one helped.

                                    After that again i have order on 19th with reference # [protected]...

                                    I came to Consumer complaints because of this ordered... i was there with chat till 3:00 mid night. took same issue to social media... and found (Names are # Neil, Saurav, Surya, andy, snash, syed, sujeet and sharon)

                                    This people are not willing ro help... i have paid for free delivery and used discount coupon but no one willing to understand the issue, 3 days back they said they will arrange call back... i received 1 miss call till not no update.

                                    Kindly check this issue and resolve.

                                      I had ordered 2 rolls from swiggy and made full online payment against it. They delivered 1 roll. On complaining and escalating the issue, swiggy repeated my same order. The delivery of this repeated order was again incomplete like the first time. Also, the delivery was not packaged and sealed.The swiggy escalations refused to provide further help.

                                        Please check if the delivery time is shown to be 50 mins then it should not be cancelled by that time even if the restaurant packed early. My order was placed by a friend who was not with me at the moment, where it was showing 50 mins... I called the delivery boy at that time and he said he had been waiting 20 mins to get through. My friend was unable to receive call due to some reasons. I called at exactly 45mins and he took 5 mins to come after that even when he said he was at my location. By the time he reached my doorstep the order got cancelled. Then he tried to get through to the main branch but he was unable for around 10 mins no one was picking up. My friend by that time called the manager and had a talk. But the delivery boy was not ready to wait even 5 more mins. I got the order. But the thing is that if we are shown 50mins delivery time on app it should not be cancelled within at least 10 to 15 mins additional to the prior shown delivery time. Sometimes we do not have network here and similar problems happen, but the delivery boys at least wait. I understand his frustration but he has no right to turn back when the order has already been paid for online. Give more time before cancelling, not every city is delhi or mumbai that things can take place fast. Please look into it.
