this is a complaint regarding non reinstatement of policy no u[protected] of dr shashai bhushan when i went to ur mysore office they said the above policy can be reinstatedand collected a cheque for rs 180000 dtd 17/08/2011 but later i received a letter saying that the policy cannot be reinstated as tata aig have closed the policy i should get 25%of the fund value as on 2yrs plus the interst from the date of closure of the policy. now either the policy hsa to be reinstated or close the policy and refund the 25%fund value with interst upto date

    I accepted an insurance policy by TATA AIG and wanted to discontinue that in April 2011 I sent many emails requesting them to cancel the policy which they did after lot of requests. The excess premium charged has not been recredited by them to my card account My policy number is RSBTM[protected] S. Kasinathan I sent mails on 190411, 210411,040511, 200511,210511,280511(two mails),010611,270611, 190711,200711,020811 and 080811. Though I received mails stating that the amount has been recredited to my card account in June 2011 itself the same is not reflecting in my card statement, for which they asked me to send the password for opening the statement which I duly sent on 08082011. Till today it has not been recredited
    please look into this and advise me what I have to next

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      This is in reference to the cover note 11009196. My Car Policy renewal was due in March and TATA AIG agent took a check of Rs 5000/- in the month of January. He promised that I will get the policy in the month of March 2011.
      Further to the above cover note, I didnt' receive any car insurance policy until July 2011. In july, I received a letter from TATA AIG stating my premimum is shortfall by Rs 587. It came as a surprise to me since the Agent agreed on Rs 5000/- and i had other offers at that time for same premium.
      I called TATA AIG and compained about the Agent. During our conversation I asked TATA AIG to refund Rs 5000/- incase they can't issue the policy. The compaint was noted down and I was assured about the payment.
      I haven't received the payment until now. I called them few days back and they said you would get a refund of around 3000+ under some section. I have no ideas where I am at fault since the premium was told by an agent and I have the receipt. I have been driving my car without coverage from past 6 months. Request you to take an action and resolve the issue.

      private car — policy not received

      i have purchase car from khanna motor chandigarh on 27/11/2007 whose insurance is done by your company at that time i got only covernote . on 24/11/2008 in i register a complain on toll free number i. reguest for renwal so that i can renew insurance of my car but no proper iresponse is given to me. complaint number is 44881.
      Reuest you to take the matter seriously and provide me the renewal. so i can renew my insurance because now vehicle is in risk.

      TATA AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. — Not get the policy Documents & Money refund

      Dear Sir,
      I, Manish Sharma, Bought a health & hospitalization policy from TATA AIG on basis of telephonic conversation on 27th Nov,09. and my HDFC Bank Credit Card was debited from the amount of Rs.8030/-. while, i was told that there would be monthly deduction from your credit card of Rs. 669.17/- only and it is including all service charges. and you'll get the policy documets within 7 working days. but I've not recieved documents till 12th Dec,09, then i called custome care no. of TATA AIG and complained about not getting policy documents and the credit card bill where Rs.8030/- mentioned as payment against TATA AIG Policy. the executive told me that we'll send the documents again and the amount can't be convert into interest free EMIs. so, i asked him to cancel my policy. he took my complain and told me that I'll get my money credited into my credit card within 2-3 working days.

      but it not happned till 28th of Dec,09. and i got a call from TATA AIG for another policy. i asked him baout my previous policy refund, he transferred my call to concerned dept. and the concerned person told me that i[censored] want that policy continue with pemium as low as Rs.2075, we'll refund your remaining amount within 2-3 working days. i accepted that offer bcz, there was no hope of getting my money back, so, its better to get as much as possible.
      But till i didn't get my money till 4th Jan,10, then again i called to TATA AIG and i was told that we've transeferred Rs.5955/- to your credit card account and it will be credited in your card within 2 days, but till date i didn't get my money and this is vey crucial time for me as i am taking loan to pay my credit cards bill.

      Please help me in this matter if possible otherwise guide me so that i can take appropriate action.

      I gave a cheque to TATA AIG to get "Renewal of Private Car Policy", on 18Sept 2010. The money has got debited from my account.
      However Its been 3 weeks past, i have not received my policy till now.
      My previous policy has already expired and i have yet not received my policy.
      Evertime i call the customer care, i am informed that i will receive the policy in 2 days.
      TATA AIG has now started robbing customers of thier money.
      I hope i receive my policy at the earliest, lest a complaint to be lodged in police for the cheating they are doing.

      Issue has not been resolved as yet. I was told I will receive a cheque and the same should be returned to TATA AIG. In return, I will get my Car policy.
      I am still waiting to receive cheque.

          Myself Shivani Gupta, being a regular premium payer of numerous health and home insurance policy of TATA-AIG , had an attack of facial paralysis on the right side of my face on 9th july 2011 . for the same , i submitted my claim documents to the claim department of TATA-AIG vide Claim #[protected] and Policy #CCP[protected] , after 30 days of survival of this illness . My neurologist DR. Rakesh Aggarwal senior neurologist in Indraprastha Apollo hospital Delhi) gave me the required certificate of diagnosis to claim my cover amount according to this criticare policy .( PLEASE NOTE the only thing i require is the diagnosis of the symptoms of any of the 11 illnesses of which paralysis is one) before my right side of the face could recover fully the paralysis shifted to the left side of my face damaging the 7th CARNIAL NERVE of my brain again and this time even more severe along with numbness in my knees and electric pain in the back of my neck even after various tests and MRIs nothing concrete would be found out , so I wasn't sure of getting any improvement as the symptoms’ were increasing . PLEASE NOTE THAT I'M JUST 21 YEARS OLD GIRL, with a deformed face and risk of having paralysis spread into my body parts as well . The doctor have already suggested me to get hospitalized as the symptoms’ are increasing .
          All I’m asking from TATA-AIG is to stick to the commitment they make to us while selling their policy to us. After filing my claim I received a call from Dr. SUNIL GALA (manager claims),. PLEASE NOTE he confirmed details from me and I told him that I'm suffering from FACIAL PARALYSIS and he replied that he'll take 7-8 days to process the claim. I was, meanwhile, in touch with the customer care executives, to track the status of my claim as my condition was getting worse and doctor had already told me to get admitted if you feel numbness in other parts of the body. I did not get admitted in hospital as this is not a cashless policy and I certainly required funds as this deadly disease might ask for expensive treatments. But when I received a denial letter from Dr.Sunil Gala , stating that their definition of paralysis is total and complete loss of BOTH ARMS AND LEGS, I felt cheated and lost . On one hand the policy states that diagnosis of symptoms will make me liable for the claim and now they are completely turning a blind eye to me saying that I shall lose both my arms and both my legs to fit into their definition of paralysis. Nothing of this sort was ever mentioned in the policy documents I have. Any person, buys a health policy for their safety and security, they pay nearly half of their salary , in a hope that i[censored]nfortunately, some mishap occurs, they are safeguarded by those policies. I request Tata Aig to stick to the promises they make, while their sales executes get after our life to buy those policies which do not help us in the time of need.

          no i m not satisfied, because the answer you provided was that your company gave a time period of 14 days to go through the policy papers after purchasing it .

          i would highly recommend others to read the policy documents even before purchasing, because after purchasing no one reads them coz we trust on such big companies .

          since I am not at all satisfied with any of the policies i have from your company in my name . All the policies when ever I need do not give my claim as I hv been experiencing from the last 2-3 years. My parents had several operations but the hospital cash expense policy never gave the amount promised by them .Same happened with my critical care policy . The terms and conditions of your policies change at the time of claim and some diffrent picture is presented during the time we purchase the policy .

          Pls refund all my premium my father have paid in the policies in my name .

          same i have asked you at my complaint registered on consumercomplaints.in and shall go to the consumer court if you do not oblige.

          Pl approach insurance ombudsman for early settlement of your claim instead of consumer court which may take 2 to 3 years whereas ombudsman will dispose your complaint within 2 to 3 months.

            Dear sir,
            We bought two nos. of Hero Honda splendor plus motocycle on 20.05.2011 from an authorized dealer (Auto needs, 501/2, Mehrauli Road, Gurgaon, Haryana, Telephone no.[protected] & 852) for marriage Gift to mr. Mukesh & Pawan (both brother resident of : Vill-Jhamuwas, Tehsil-Tauru, Distt-Mewat, Haryana). Tata AIG General Insurance company which was recommended by the dealer Auto Needs.
            When 2nd July 2011 Both brother are coming from Nearby City Tauru for their village in night 10PM the Motorcycle met an accident and motorcycle was mostly damage. When the trespassers seen this incident Mr. Pawan found Dead on the road & Mr. Mukesh Found unconscious condition on the other road side. Trespassers inform to the other family member & other Mojij Man of Panchayat etc..By the Village Mojij Man No Police FIR was log in & nor feel requirement of Hospital for the dead person. After the discussion of Panchayat Member , they do last funeral of the dead body of Mr. pawan.
            According to Hindu Laws upto Tehranvi (thirteen days) no. action was taken for any other issue. After that on 14th July all about of the incident was intimated to the insurance company (TATA AIG General Insurance Co.).The Insurance company (TATA AIG General Insurance Co.) given a reference no. / claim no.[protected] for damaged vehicle. After the discussion & guidance of the customer care the damaged vehicle was sent to Raja Motors Manesar, Gurgaon for further necessary action. When we take follow up from Raja Motors for damaged vehicle repair etc, they told (Raja Motors) “once a surveyor told them to repair the damaged vehicle & the next day surveyor told them to stop the activity of repairing etc. When we go to the repairing agency Raja Motors for follow up for our damaged vehicle on 2nd September 2011. After telephonic discussed to the insurance surveyor, he told that insurance company rejected the claim & there will be no claim for damaged vehicle.

            Now we request to please investigate the issue & do the needful at the earlier.

              Dear Sir

              I have taken TATA AIG - MAHA children policy 5 + yrs back and paid 51,000 Rs so far. Till now i have not received 1 rupee towards (Initially they promised to give bonus in the 6th year). I am fed up with this policy and surrender this. Now they are telling i am entitle for only 21,000 rs at this point of time.
              Please guide me how to get back my paid money .

                I was looking for Health insurance policy for my family and In laws and found web site of TATA AIG and submit the request. I got call from [protected] on[protected] and so much discussion about all policy and benifits and forced us to take Individual accident and sickness hospitalization cash plan and instruct us to pay policy premium by verification. Paid anual premium of RS.12868/- through SBI credit card on Ref ID 029729 dated[protected].

                and again i got call from [protected] for my in laws insurance policy, taken premium amount of Rs 4152/- through credit card. with refe ID Ref 033020 on dated[protected]

                They said within seven days policy will come to me if you are not interested we will return your amount back to credit card.

                Still I have not got the policy they said in 7 working days we get policy.

                Now i came to know its kind of fraud after checking all other comments. by god grace if i get back my money is really good. we are area all strugle to live. and this kind of insurance complanies are cheating people.

                  I recently had a claim on my car wherein I had to pay extra amount from my pocket as agent (Mr Praveen) refused to compensate full loss.He came into argument state that whatever amount he has cleared is done as a favor wherein I was insisting him to check my ealrier photographs if he has any doubts BUT he does want to listen.His only MOTO was to harrass a customer as what I can feel was that he is supreame authority of clearing the claims and NO one argue with him.if decides not to pass a claim that no one can actually pass the same and there will be a delay in getting the car delivery.IF THIS IS THE WAY OF TREATING THE CUSTOMERS THAN GOD HELP TATA?



                  With no choice left with me at that time,i agreed and paid the remaining amount.Kindly check and advise as i will have to bring this matter to the higher management of TATA and INSURANCE ACT as well if not satisfied with the explanations given to me.WE DO NOT PAY HIGH INSURANCES TO GET OURSELVES HARRASSED BY THE HANDS OF THE AGENTS

                  Thanks for the mail with pictures.

                  However what I can notice that it is just a small dot on my car or may be very small dent which actually made you not to clear my full claim.RIGHT?

                  Here if you remember during our meeting, the arguement was for the rhs wheel arc which you were not giving the full claim and NOT for the rhs right door.There was no confusion on the same and can be again reconfirmed with the Honda guy.I was insisting to have the full claim for the rhs wheel arc area as there can be colour difference if we only do the partial painting.

                  If my understanding is correct, I will never get my full claims for my future damages on my car ( I hope I do not have as I donot want to be intouch with Tata insurance again and never recommend to my other friends and family as well.

                  Kindly confirm the same enable me to take my query to further higher management of Tata and to Insurance Act seeking more clarity on the same as customer cannot get any or full claims even if there is any partial damage on the car which does not require immediate attention.I THINK I WAS STILL HELPING YOUR COMPANY BY NOT CLAIMING TWICE.

                    Worst Customer Care and False Promises

                    TATA AIG General Insurance has one of the worst customer care and the most exploiting people who will only sell policies and deduct money and will never send the soft copy or the letter. I am trying to contact the customer care for the past two days and the only message I am getting from the IVR is "Your expected wait time is approximately one minute"...this is such a crap message that I had waited for more than 30 minutes for...

                    This is to hereby inform you that March 26, 2012 evening one pop come comes when i was about to withdraw cash from HSBC ATM located at Symbiosis college Chturshrungi road, Pune and Rs 170 was debited from my Account with HSBC A/C Number, I don't want this policy please return my 170/- to my account

                    Other wise i am going to take this issue very seriously in consumer court for the refund of the same.

                      The health insurance policy WE[protected] has been taken in the name of my mother Savitha. I requested for the soft copy of policy document on the same day also on 8th and 11th of August 2011. I did not get both hard copy and soft copy of the document till 15th of August 2011. As per my conversation dated 11-Aug-2011 (12:06 PM) with TATA AIG customer care executive Manish I will receive soft copy of the policy document with in 24 Hours. But I did not get the soft copy till now. He gave the same request number 18221 which is given by another customer care executive Mr Ronath on 8th Aug 2011. Also I gave the request for both soft copy and hard copy of the policy document today
                      which is 15th Aug 2011. The request number given by customer care executive Mr Rafik is 21680.
                      Today again on 16th Aug 2011 I spoke to customer care executive Priya (16-Aug-2011 1:00PM) she gave me the request number 28193. Please let me know the reason for not getting soft copy or hard copy of the policy document.

                          TATA AIG GEN INSURANCE — Insurance Certificate not recd yet

                          To whoever it may concern

                          Hi,

                          This is to bring to your notice that I have taken a mediclaim poloicy for my mother in the month of August 2008 on an EMI basis against my HSBC Credit Card.. There are 3 EMI which has been debited from my credit card in the months of September, October and November 2008 for Rs 559.25 each month. But till date I haven't recd the certificate. May I please know that when I can expect to receive the same as the same is also require for tax deduction purpose and I require it urgently. In case you have any doubt about my address, here it is:

                          TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE — Certificate not received

                          One fine day I had to call to HSBC as I have personal loan with them. They connect me to TATA AIG pepole. They said about a policy which is for Rs.10/- for first month and also said me to receive that documents i[censored] are OK it will continue and Rs. 705/ will be the next premium. I wanted look at the documents first so I said OK. I was charged for Rs.10/- first month on my credit card. But I didnt receive any documents of the policy. I was scared and called the TATA AIG asked them to stop the policy since i am not interested moreover i didnt even look at the documents. Some how i was convinced for low premium of Rs.105/- per month. They said they would charge only Rs. 105/- per month. But they charged me Rs. 705 for the second month. They didnt send my insurance document. I didnt even know my insurance document number. Now i am once again charged for Rs. 105/-. Still i didnt receive my certificate.

                          I have one evidence against them i.e I recorded the conversation b/w TATA AIG customer executive and i. In which all the things are recorded.

                          now I would like to register a complaint in Consumer Court against TATA AIG.

                          can anybody suggest me in this regard?

                            Ms. Harpreet Manni has given me the response which is completely biased, unethical and not acceptable.

                            I wish to bring to your kind notice about the irregularities regarding the Motor Insurance policy, I am the policy holder of my vehicle WAGON - R since Dec 2009, after finishing one year of the existing policy,the representative from your customer care has called me in the month of December 2010 to renew the existing policy, as I was out of station during that period hence the TATA AIG representative has fix the time to have the inspection of my vehicle as well as renewal formalities on dated 18 Dec 2010, it was even mutually agreed by both the parties as well as I have given assurance to your customer care representative that I will reach to my station as well as I will be available to my station (i.e. KANNUR- Kerala) for one day only and will go back to Delhi for my official visits, but It is very sad to say that that no one has turned to meet me to do the renewal formalities on 18th Dec 2010 nor did a call to me, I did wait till next day morning ,again after coming back from Delhi, I have contacted the TATA AIG person to do the formalities to renew my existing policy, again after given promise to meet no one has taken care to renew it.

                            I did a lot much conversation for this regard, Kindly check the phone call detail from your end also.
                            On dated 11th January 2011 Mr Swarup Desai from Sales Dept. has called me (at 10 AM) to take the policy with some special Discount and with some special feature, I have conveyed him the message regarding the problems I have faced to renew TATA policy, He agreed for the same & promised me to resolve the issue as soon But the results were zero.

                            I have received a lot many calls from TATA AIG representatives regarding policy issues but after promise no one has tried to send the representatives to my end. It shows that TATA AIG is least bothered to renew their policy & don't want to be responsible for their services.

                            Although my last conversation happens with Mr Viki and he did some good positive move for renewal but now TATA AIG is saying that I cannot avail NCB ,Means my NCB will be is Zero , Here I would like to add one point to your end , According to my policy NCB will not affect if I am going to repair my Plastic parts, as I have claimed to repair my plastic parts only, which has been reported to you customer care on dated 01 Nov,2010, the person from Cochin Mr. Sizo has intimated me that I can go to any nearest Garage for repairing the plastic parts, I did the same I have went to my very nearest garage as well as the surveyor Mr. Prakash also came for the survey, finally my vehicle got repaired, I have paid the cash amount to the garage person and told him to send the bill to your end (as instructed by Mr Sizo) , finally after a huge follow ups I have got the Cheque of Rs 3250/- (point to be noted that I have paid Rs 3750/- for the same).

                            I would like to ask some query related to the above isues as follows -

                            1. Why not my policy has been renewed ?
                            2. My vehicle is on risk from last seven months, if any misshapen occurs then who will be the responsible for the same ?
                            3. My office is 50 Kms ( to & fro) away from my residence and I cannot use my Car because my car is not insured Hence I am force to travel by Auto/Taxi or Bus .

                            4. Earlier I have made a request to get the facility of free washing of my car as it was given as a facility with my policy earlier , but this couldn’t happens why?

                            5. Why not I should approach to consumer forum to get justice for the same?

                            6. Whether repair of the plastic part will affect my NCB?

                            TATA is always referred as prestigious organization in our country, but these move of irresponsibility will give a very bad name & confusion among customers and will lose the faith among the consumers, in this present era one person/customercan influence hundreds or thousands of people.

                            Therefore again I would like to request you to resolve this issues on priority basis otherwise I have to move to consumer forum to get the justice as well as compensation for these Negligence .

                              Dear Sir

                              My car Wagon R (DL7CH 0276) golden color, 2006 model, had an accident on 28 Nov 2010. I have Tata AIG car insurance for last 3 years. No Claim Bonus was 45%. The car had accident due to slippage towards tree sides to avoid collision with tractor coming from wrong side. There were bushes on both sides and stone on ground. The car was damaged on both sides and bottom. Doors were damaged, axle crank and lower part were damaged. I gave car to M/s Competent Ghazipur Show Room for repair. Mr Ajit from Tata AIG Noida branch inspected the vehicle. The Car was repaired on one side only. bottom part and Left side were not repaired. Approx Rs 16500 was total expenditure, out of which I paid Rs 6500/- and car was delivered.

                              While driving it was found that Crank rod of back wheels was noising. Then it was replaced by me at M/s Competent and paid Rs 5270/-. The Left side door bottom panel is still damaged. Front wheel Axle has some noise on curves.
                              Tata AIG is hopeless company regarding insurance claims.

                              I have lost 45% NCB and the car is not repaired completely. Please do need ful.

                                can't give claim. They ask me to pay in cash and later on they will pay me by

                                  TATA AIG is biggest fraud. They do not know even what to do while selling policy how will they respond in clearing claims.
                                  Here is classic example.
                                  I wanted to renew our car policy and their online site is down. Their check pickup is not possible. And this is the error which there sites shows.

                                  And when you send a mail this is what you get.
                                  Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists:

                                    Tata AIG sales person contacted me on phone regarding medical insurance I had enquired with policybazaar.com. Based on my requirement for a family policy, he issued a Wellsurance Family policy and a Wellsurance Executive policy for my wife. It was informed that if I was not satisfied with the policy, I could cancel them within a look-over period of 15 days with just one phone-call and Rs99 administration charge. It was not informed to me at the time that in case of a claim, only one policy of the two can be claimed. So basically one policy is useless. When I found this out after receiving the policy documents, I cancelled one of the policies. The Tata representative tried to persuade me not to, ultimately agreed. This was three months ago. I am still waiting for them to refund the premium amount to the credit card. I have called their number [protected] at least 10 times over this period, and have been allocated three reference numbers and that the issue will be resolved in 7-10 working days. Still not done.
                                    I don't know what will come of this case, but I will not be renewing the policy that I retained. Also, I will inform friends and relatives to steer clear of this company, because of nil worth customer service.

                                    sir, I bought a family health insurance policy from TATA AIG on a condition of 12months EMI basis. they agreed and i given my credit card details of my HDFCBANK CARD to them. but they are taken the full amount from my card and told me that EMI is not available on HDFC BANK .I complained so many times to their customer care. at last they agreed to cancel the policy and refunded the full amount .but they refunded only Rs.5266. Rs.99 short. so you are requested to take necessary steps to refunded the full amount. PRATHAPAN CG

                                    i Rashida Deesawala having wellsurance policy as i had fractured in February i claim for the same but they are so many times demanding documents and giving false promises, at the time of purchase they promised so many things but now nobody giving satisfactory answer and offering very very small amount for refund

                                      Hi,

                                      TATA AIG Health Insurance person called me and renewed my health insurance (Policy No:HC[protected]). They said the renewal documents will be sent to my address within 2 weeks time.

                                      But its almost more then 3 months, I didn't received any postal or courier from TATA AIG. I even wrote a complaint message from their website link, but no one responded for that.

                                      It looks like its a fraud company and they just want to make money and they are not doing their service to people. I need my money back and I donot want to continue their Insuarance.

                                      If anyone knows how to get this done then please help me.
