My policy no : u[protected]

with tata aig now aia, I surrendered it on 02-july-2012 and the surrender value was around 1.2 lacs.

Even till today I have not received this amount.

According to them they have already transferred this amount to my ICICI account. Through neft utr no :[protected]

but I have not yet received, after this they are like not responding.

They are just passing time my foolish actions like asking me to send the bank statement and then saying they have not received the attachment.

Almost 6-7 times I have sent my bank statement as a attachment but they are not receiving ( so funny ).

In total I have sent aroung more than 20 - 25 mails regarding this but invain.

Is there anyone who can take action against this people. There are so many complaints about these private insurance companies but I dont think a strict action is taken on them

this is the reason they are not scared of anybody.

I hope with this complaint on your website may be some result will come.

    I am writing to inform all friends to beware of TATA AIG which is a fraud company and ruined my car VW Polo.

    This is just an example of the fraud company TATA AIG as after buying the insurance I have now realized yesterday that the policy taken by me is not Zero Dep Insurance and I Paid Rs. 11000 approx out of Rs. 22000 of the total bill.

    I would advise everybody to be aware of the Fraud TATA AIG and not buy any policy from them and avoid them totally.

    I have lost a lot because of this fraud company and hence would like you all to beware.

      Sub: CLAIM OF my daughter UNDER COMPLIMENTARY PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE FROM TATA AIG CREDIT FOR INR 2 LACS

      Dear Sir / Madam,

      My daughter met with an fatal accident on[protected] while going to office at airport circle, Ahmedabad. She was working as an assistant manager for Indigo Airlines. After 5 days in coma at sterling hospital she expired on[protected]…

      She was using your TATA credit card no. 5126 **** **** **** with credit limit INR 50,000/- issued on 08-2011 valid up to 08-2013.

      According to the Brochure enclosed with the TATA credit card “The power of one is in your hands“ entitles complimentary Personal accident Insurance covers upto INR 2 Lacs from TATA AIG in case of loss of life resulting from rail, road, or other accidents.

      To avail insurance benefits ensure that the card has been used at least once for purchase / cash made within 90 days preceding the events.
      Claim Procedure:
      1. A preliminary notice of claim must be sent to TATA AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. At the given address with 30 days of death to record the claim.
      2. A claim form provided by TATA AIG general Insurance will have to be completed and returned along with additional documents as mentioned below:
      a. Original / attested post mortem / coroner’s report / attested copy of FIR / Police Inquest report where applicable

      On[protected] I personally Ajaykumar P Patel, father of ____________ visited TATA AIG General office at 10th floor, abhijeet III, Opp. Mayors bungalow, law garden, Ahmedabad there I met Branch Claim manager B. Anjaneyulu and gave him the complete bunch of preliminary notice, death certificate, FIR copy, Newspaper cutting of the accident incident, there then he told us that he will sent all the papers to Bombay office.

      Again I visited same above said Ahmedabad office on 15-11-11 & submitted other documents as sterling hospital summary report, sterling hospital death report, Death certificate, post mortem report of civil hospital to B. Anjaneyulu.

      Mr. Krishna Mallya from Bombay office called me on my cell no. [protected] and told me that he is received all the documents I gave to Mr. B. Anjaneyulu and going to sent all the related documents to me. Once I receive the documents I have to submit the document to the above said office of TATA AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd., Ahmedabad.
      Received documents from Bombay office and I went back to the above said Ahmedabad office, there I met Mr. Birju Pandya on 25-11-11 as advised by claims manager Sachin Jangra at Ahmedabad office. Here, Mr. Birju Pandya sends back all the documents back to Bombay office.

      When I documents where received in Bombay office, I got a call from Savita Archarya and she confirmed that all the documents are received by her and will handle our case. Now, in the conversation she is saying that we are not entitling for the claim as you have not ask for it in the written. So, I explained her entire procedures I have gone thru submitting the documents thru no. of the claim managers. Even I mentioned the in the brochure of the credit card page no 9, there its already mentioned about the complimentary accidental insurance in the case of rail/road/other accident incident amounting INR 2 Lacs. Then she asked me to send her the photo copy of the brochure.

      Now, as per the request I took the photo copy of the brochure and credit card and send it to Mr. Birju Pandya, Ahmedabad office (personally hand to hand submitted the photo copy) and another copy to Savita Archarya, Bombay office with the presence and knowledge of Claim Manager Mr. Sachin Jangra.
      I tried number of times calling to Savita Archrya, But I am getting no reply from Bombay office and then after contacting Sachin Jangra and regular follow up on 6-3-12 TATA AIG LIFE office at Ahmedabad, as advised by Mr. Birju Pandya again I filed death claim documents of my daughter including the following new documents of Panchnama, Inquest panchnama, Post mortem report, Hospital Statement given to the police, her Passport, Parents passport, and bank statement, duly signed and attested and submitted by me to Mr. Birju Pandya.

      Still upto this date I have not received any response / reply / written documents / letters / calls from the Insurance office (neither Ahmedabad nor Bombay)

      Guide me what to do, and how can I proceed further on it. I am being obligatory to go to consumer dept. with this case, to get an official response from the insurance company…

      I will appreciate a written letter precisely detailing about the update and status of my claim from the insurance office.

      TATA AIG ACCIDENTAL INSURANCE — Documents not received

      My Transaction ID no. is MCMT[protected] & Policy purchase date is 24/11/2010
      Now problem is that I have not received documents of policy till date but company says that you will receive the documents within 48hrs & I have also paid 12842.00 rupees for accidental policy by my credit card so you are requested pls send me policy documents asap.

        Sir

        1) I had purchased three policy from TATA AIG life insurance company .( product TATA AIG Maha life gold).on line on 05/03/2012 .

        Policy No C[protected], C[protected], C[protected] in the name of my daughter Ananya Sharma wit sum Assured Rs 1,00,000/- each.

        2) subsequently on the second day i cancelled all my policies and was awainting for my refunds .

        3)After a month i recived refund of one policy no c[protected] only .rest ware still pending.

        4) 0n querry they told it will be repaid in three working days and a request no was isued

        request No 02389286, 02389312.

        Again on 31/05/2012 a request no was issued 02591593,02591613.

        Again on 29/06/2012 one moer request no was issued 03951003.

        But i regret t say company with a tag of TATA is not able to address my complaint.

        sir, policy claims that refund will be returned with in 90 days today it is more that 4 and half months no news ,this does not stop me to go to cosumer court for my refund with intersest.

                Sir,
                I received several Phone calls from one Mr. Amol of TATA AIG. He spoke sweetly and I migrated from the National Insurance Company to TATA AIG for renewing my son's car Insurance. For payment Mr. Amol connected me to a lady at 9.20 am on[protected] and she asked me to give my Credit Card No. and I gave it. An amount of Rs. 16,792/- was debited to my Credit Card. My Policy expired by the mid-night of 04-05-12. She had promised that I would get the Soft Copy within 48 Hours. Since then nothing heard from the TATA AIG. After 50 Hours I contacted the Toll Free No. [protected]. To my shock I was told that 48 Hours means 48 working hours. How they play on words? I could not enjoy my vacation as I could not take my car out without a valid Insurance Policy. I contacted TATA AIG through the above numbers several times but to of no avail. I sent mails after mails to the customer care. But, they did not oblige except stating that they were looking into the matter. Say any Insurance company would give a cover note immediately after the payment. Policy Docs would take some time. It is quite understandable but TATA AIG has its own rules to torment the customers. I advise the prospective customers not to be lured by the name TATA. It may be a reliable name in other fields but not with regard to Insurance.
                Finally, after several complaints, I got the Soft Copy of the Policy. The name of the town is entered wrongly but the Pin Code is correct. I contacted the above Number and asked them to make correction. I was asked to send the scanned copy of RC. If they verify the Pin Code they will come to know the correct name of the town. But, they are interested in harassing the customers. So they want a scanned copy. I advise our brothers not to go in for TATA AIG. Since I have taken the Policy I pray to the God that there should not be any claim for one year. It is quite formidable to think of their response when we make a claim.

                  I have my car Hyundai i10, which was insured from Tata AIG. My car got accident on 4-4-12. I called to Tata AIG's help line no [protected] on 4-4-12 and registered a complaint. They provide me the complaint no[protected], and they said that send your car for repair at Natasha Automobiles, Bareilly U.P.. The car was repaired on 26-4-12. I got a call from Natasha Automobile that your car has been repaired and you will have to pay full amount 39,810. After hearing this, I said I have cashless policy and adobe plan, so according to company law, I should be pay only Rupees 500. Then Natasha Automobiles said that we will not give you any benefits of you policy because you did not insured your car from our showroom.
                  I complaint regarding this to Tata AIG. They ask me some day and call us again. once again I call after some days and then they said to me that we have registered your complaint, and we can not do more except this. And then I call to insurance broker, broker forward my call to Nidhi Singh. After hear my complaint, Ms. Nidhi Singh said to me that we can not do anything regarding this. I said i purchased this policy from you so it is your duty to resolve my problem. Then she strictly said to me that " You can go to the court, and do not call us again"


                  Now please look at this matter and solve my problem as soon as possible. I am getting mentally disturb because of it.

                      I had given payment to TATA AIG to get "Renewal of Private Car Policy", on 24-MARCH-2012. The money has got debited from my account.
                      However Its been 3 weeks past, i have not received my policy till now.
                      My previous policy has already expired and i have yet not received my policy.
                      Evertime i call the customer care, i am informed that i will receive the policy in 2 days. On 10-APR-12, I had again received a call from TATA AIG that "due to service tax change some more amount is required". I had done the same for my policy. But till now I didnt get any policy details.
                      TATA AIG has now started robbing customers of thier money.
                      I hope i receive my policy at the earliest, lest a complaint to be lodged in police for the cheating they are doing.
                      I had already given three complaints to customer care of tata AIG. But their response was not hopful.

                        Tata AIG Health Insurance — Cheating public and makin fools

                        I taken a health insurance policy from TATA AIG of the insured amount of Rs.10,00,000 ( Policy No. C[protected] and I got a insurance bond also , i informed to policy agent that i got a policy bond today, he told ok sir your policy is active from today, And he told ECS also activated after 3 months we will deduct policy amount from your bank account, Because i have given a full 3 months amount in cheque,
                        But after 3 months i chucked in my bank statement there was only one transaction with TATA AIG, only cheque was cleared but i did'd see monthly deduction so i informed policy agent he told i'll cheek it out then he is not receiving my calls, from last 2 months i am calling daily ( His name Mr.Santosh No.[protected] )
                        Then i called to customer support they told your policy is canceled because of no payment, then i shouted and ask for return my amount, they told sir 3 months over so we con't return back amount

                        HERE JUST WE ARE GIVING FUNDS TO TATA AIG THATS IT , WE WON'T GET ANY THING,
                        THESE ARE ALL CHEATING ONLY, , THANK GOD I INVESTED ONLY 3 MONTHS PREMIUM OF RS.1332 /- IF I PAID FOR 1 YEAR MEANS AROUND 9000 /- I HAVE TO LOSE

                        PUBLIC SHOULD BE CARE FULL IN THIS, BETER TO THINK BEFORE INVEST

                          I tried to Purchase Travel insurance for overseas travel for my Father-in-law, Online as we needed the policy document urgently to file the Visa.
                          TATA-AIG claims that when you purchase a policy online, you get it delivered immediately as online document.

                          I filled the online form for their Silver Policy on overseas travel insurance. On payment page i chose net banking and HDFC bank for net banking. I made the payment via net-banking and on Confirm payment button, I got the error as " Error on TATA-AIG server, please contact TATA-AIG system administrator"

                          When i check my account the Money was fully debited. I did not receive any confirmation email nor i receive any policy. I tried calling their customer service for 1000 times on same day and all the time it was engage and i could not connect. When i called in very late night after 12 in the night, i could connect. I told agent my problem and he asked me passport number of applicant, I gave the same and he confirmed there is no policy found in their system. He lodged a complaint and gave me complaint number. I have this conversation recorded in my phone. he said someone will call in 2 days and nobody called.

                          Meanwhile i also sent email to customer care with all screenshots and they just kept on saying we are working on it.
                          Later, after 6 days, i got email with policy document. I could clearly see they purposely generated the policy and sent me after 6 days. Even the day on which they generated the policy was not the day on which i purchased it online which can be verified from the money debit record of net-banking.
                          I refused to accept the policy which they give after 6 days when they claim to give it immediately when you buy online and as it was urgent for us to file visa, we had bough another policy same day on which i tried to buy TATA AIG online and submitted the visa application. I said i want refund as giving policy 6 days later does not fulfill my need. Then Customer care replied to my email giving a form to fill for the refund.

                          I filled the form. Since then i am following up on my refund, but no response from them. They said you will get refund in 7-10 days and its more than a month now since this issue started.

                          So to me, TATA-AIG is a fraud company for insurance. I thank god that i did not got their insurance as god forbit but if my Father would have travelled and something would have went wrong, i am sure they would have never settled the claim.

                          I want Forum moderator to help me on this or guide me how to punish such people. I wont mind spending thousands to file a lawsuit again TATA-AIG.and i am willing to take the Legal action against them. I have enough evidences including phone recordings, emails and the net-banking money debit.

                          I have attached the things to this complaint too.

                          good work, TATA mean BYE BYE and the compnay is going by what its name is. I too had called them for getting a pension insurance plan from Australia. I call them in India from Australia and was made to hold for approx 12 min and latter on advised we dont have a policy for you as you are NRI... As per the web site being an Indian citizen I have full right but the girl was not there with enough training and I told her TATA.

                          TATA managers do something or soon TATA will be off the shelf.

                              I am disappointed with the unprofessional way in which TATA AIG, Pune handled my claim.
                              My car met with an accident on Jan 5, 2012. I have not received my car till now.
                              Car: Tata Manza - 6 months old. Bought from authorized TATA dealer (Balaji Motors). This car was given for repair in authorized Tata service centre in Aundh, Pune.
                              Insurance: TATA AIG insurance provided by the car dealer for the first year.

                              I faced problems with TATA AIG from the very first day of registering claims. I was not able to get through the TOLL free number for 2-3 days. Finally I managed to get through and registered the claim.
                              There was a big delay in carrying out the survey from the insurance company. In fact, I have called them atleast 13-15 times till now. Each time i get a reply that they will call me back with proper information. But I have not received any call from them till now.
                              Infact, I have also raised a complaint with TATA AIG customer care centre. I was informed that I will hear back from them within 48 hours. Its more than a month and I have still not heard.

                              TATA Authorized service centre contact person has been asking me to follow up with the insurance comapny. Isnt is surprising - TATA car being repaired in TATA authorized service centre and covered with TATA AIG insurance but the customer has to do all the running around.

                              Seeing this approach I would advise all the customers to stay away from TATA cars and insurance products unless there is a guarantee to improve the customer service from their end.

                                Tata Aig took premium for 1 year and issued policy No [protected] 01 and mentioned period as from[protected] to[protected] but without
                                my permission or consent reduced it to six months without giving any document to me. This is a nice way to do things as the money is with them and as per their sweet will they reduce the coverage time and as always ask for more money.
                                Some sort of penalty should be imposed on them so that it would pinch them and also force them to take decision beneficial to Customers.

                                  For urgent financial need I have surrendered my policy having Policy No. U[protected]
                                  on 6th Feb 2012 at Kalyan Branch I were told that it will be processed immediately and payment will be credited my Saving Bank account within 10 working days. However I have not received my money in my account till date, I have submitted all the documents required on 6th Feb, 12 . Today I have got their mail that my they have processed my request on 15th Feb, 2012 and payment will be done from 10 days thereafter. Hence I request to honorary judge for this forum please direct TATA AIG to pay my money at the earliest with NAV as on 15th Feb.2012

                                    I am a customer of TATAAIG since 2004 and there are 4 (four) policy going on in my name.
                                    On early of December, 2011, I got a call from Mr. Souparna Rakshit (Mo# [protected]) that my policy# U[protected] is not performing well and they have better option for me. So he requested me for an appointment and he came to my home along with his college Debamitra Biswas (Mo#[protected]).
                                    They asked me to surrender my old policy# U[protected] and total fund will be reinvested in a new fund.
                                    They told me that for the new fund I have to pay premium for only one time and I don’t have to pay any premium for next years.
                                    However after 3 years I can withdrawal my full amount.
                                    But later on I came to know that the benefits of new policy are totally different that they had explained to me.

                                    So I cancelled my new policy#U[protected], after requesting your employees for more than 100 times.
                                    Then they asked me to write a mail to them that I have a requirement of fund, and then only they can cancel my policy. And I did the same.
                                    I got a SMS on 07-January-2012 that my policy has been cancelled and I will return my full money with in 10 workings day.

                                    Today is 10th of February-2012, still now I not received and cheque /draft/bank credit.
                                    I between I try to communicate your employees so many but they did not received my phone or not answered my SMS also.
                                    Even I called to customer care help desk and logged a complain (complain#S[protected] on 31-January-2012, but my goodness no result.

                                    This is the service that TATA-AIG is selling to the customer? Why there are so many fraud and dishonest employees in TATA?
                                    I can not expect this type of service from a company like TATA.
                                    Should I continue my others policies or this the indication that I should think about any other company for my new policy?
                                    Seriously speaking I became frustrated and hopeless about your service for the last 1 and half month.

                                    Could you please let me know when can I return back my money?

                                      I have submitted my pf withdrawal papers in the month of January 2010 when I left Tata Aig Life Insuarance Co .My Pf account number is MH/BAN/45142/2078 .I have asked to credit the accumulated amount of my pf to my account directly .

                                      It is almost a year now that i have not got any response from my employer as well as (Disha Consultancy)who are looking after our PF in Tata Aig .

                                      Request you to look in this regard and take necessary steps .

                                        I have taken a health insurance policy for the family of my driver, in July 2011. All transaction happened through mobile. I was told that the policy doc and health card would be sent by courier in 15 days. That 15 days has not happened yet, and it is February 2012 (more than 7 months passed), and I didn't receive any documents or health cards.
                                        I have bought a health policy for my driver and his family, in July 2011. I was told that the policy docs and cards would be sent in 15 days, but nothing happened.

                                        I have written many times to [protected]@tata-aig.com and they responded saying that it is being sent and also gave a courier ID for tracking, and on the courier website the number given was invalid. The policy number is WF[protected]. Now they stopped responding to my mails too.

                                        I have no idea as to which office i have to go and beg to get the cards and policy. Even that is not known. I saw one address on internet and went to Ahura Centre, Andheri East, there security told me that tata aig insurance office got shifted to somewhere more than 3 years back.

                                        Using IVR for TATA AIG insurance gives most horrible experience of life. After each statement there is a long pause and they expect people to spend few hours for getting any meaningful information. Once I tried to lodge complain through IVR, Even after more than 5-8 minutes, nothing meaningful info I could get.

                                        So my sincere advise to readers here: Do not fall prey with this TATA AIG health insurance, who just snatch money from people and DOES NOT BOTHER TO GIVE ANY SERVICE. Never expected this from a Tata company.
