I had given payment to TATA AIG to get "Renewal of Private Car Policy", on 24-MARCH-2012. The money has got debited from my account.
However Its been 3 weeks past, i have not received my policy till now.
My previous policy has already expired and i have yet not received my policy.
Evertime i call the customer care, i am informed that i will receive the policy in 2 days. On 10-APR-12, I had again received a call from TATA AIG that "due to service tax change some more amount is required". I had done the same for my policy. But till now I didnt get any policy details.
TATA AIG has now started robbing customers of thier money.
I hope i receive my policy at the earliest, lest a complaint to be lodged in police for the cheating they are doing.
I had already given three complaints to customer care of tata AIG. But their response was not hopful.

    Tata AIG Health Insurance — Cheating public and makin fools

    I taken a health insurance policy from TATA AIG of the insured amount of Rs.10,00,000 ( Policy No. C[protected] and I got a insurance bond also , i informed to policy agent that i got a policy bond today, he told ok sir your policy is active from today, And he told ECS also activated after 3 months we will deduct policy amount from your bank account, Because i have given a full 3 months amount in cheque,
    But after 3 months i chucked in my bank statement there was only one transaction with TATA AIG, only cheque was cleared but i did'd see monthly deduction so i informed policy agent he told i'll cheek it out then he is not receiving my calls, from last 2 months i am calling daily ( His name Mr.Santosh No.[protected] )
    Then i called to customer support they told your policy is canceled because of no payment, then i shouted and ask for return my amount, they told sir 3 months over so we con't return back amount

    HERE JUST WE ARE GIVING FUNDS TO TATA AIG THATS IT , WE WON'T GET ANY THING,
    THESE ARE ALL CHEATING ONLY, , THANK GOD I INVESTED ONLY 3 MONTHS PREMIUM OF RS.1332 /- IF I PAID FOR 1 YEAR MEANS AROUND 9000 /- I HAVE TO LOSE

    PUBLIC SHOULD BE CARE FULL IN THIS, BETER TO THINK BEFORE INVEST

    TATA AIG — Non collection of premium through Cheque

      Hi,

      I tried to Purchase Travel insurance for overseas travel for my Father-in-law, Online as we needed the policy document urgently to file the Visa.
      TATA-AIG claims that when you purchase a policy online, you get it delivered immediately as online document.

      I filled the online form for their Silver Policy on overseas travel insurance. On payment page i chose net banking and HDFC bank for net banking. I made the payment via net-banking and on Confirm payment button, I got the error as " Error on TATA-AIG server, please contact TATA-AIG system administrator"

      When i check my account the Money was fully debited. I did not receive any confirmation email nor i receive any policy. I tried calling their customer service for 1000 times on same day and all the time it was engage and i could not connect. When i called in very late night after 12 in the night, i could connect. I told agent my problem and he asked me passport number of applicant, I gave the same and he confirmed there is no policy found in their system. He lodged a complaint and gave me complaint number. I have this conversation recorded in my phone. he said someone will call in 2 days and nobody called.

      Meanwhile i also sent email to customer care with all screenshots and they just kept on saying we are working on it.
      Later, after 6 days, i got email with policy document. I could clearly see they purposely generated the policy and sent me after 6 days. Even the day on which they generated the policy was not the day on which i purchased it online which can be verified from the money debit record of net-banking.
      I refused to accept the policy which they give after 6 days when they claim to give it immediately when you buy online and as it was urgent for us to file visa, we had bough another policy same day on which i tried to buy TATA AIG online and submitted the visa application. I said i want refund as giving policy 6 days later does not fulfill my need. Then Customer care replied to my email giving a form to fill for the refund.

      I filled the form. Since then i am following up on my refund, but no response from them. They said you will get refund in 7-10 days and its more than a month now since this issue started.

      So to me, TATA-AIG is a fraud company for insurance. I thank god that i did not got their insurance as god forbit but if my Father would have travelled and something would have went wrong, i am sure they would have never settled the claim.

      I want Forum moderator to help me on this or guide me how to punish such people. I wont mind spending thousands to file a lawsuit again TATA-AIG.and i am willing to take the Legal action against them. I have enough evidences including phone recordings, emails and the net-banking money debit.

      I have attached the things to this complaint too.

      good work, TATA mean BYE BYE and the compnay is going by what its name is. I too had called them for getting a pension insurance plan from Australia. I call them in India from Australia and was made to hold for approx 12 min and latter on advised we dont have a policy for you as you are NRI... As per the web site being an Indian citizen I have full right but the girl was not there with enough training and I told her TATA.

      TATA managers do something or soon TATA will be off the shelf.

        Policy documents not received

        I, the undersigned Mangesh Prabhakar Asawalikar purchased three health insurance policies through credit card but until now despite of the debit to my HSBC credit card DIRECTLY 15 days back no policy documents have been received to date to my office address


        On two occasions I called upon the telephone officer who replied and said that the documents were sent twice through Blue dart courier but were unable to be dispatched...

          I am disappointed with the unprofessional way in which TATA AIG, Pune handled my claim.
          My car met with an accident on Jan 5, 2012. I have not received my car till now.
          Car: Tata Manza - 6 months old. Bought from authorized TATA dealer (Balaji Motors). This car was given for repair in authorized Tata service centre in Aundh, Pune.
          Insurance: TATA AIG insurance provided by the car dealer for the first year.

          I faced problems with TATA AIG from the very first day of registering claims. I was not able to get through the TOLL free number for 2-3 days. Finally I managed to get through and registered the claim.
          There was a big delay in carrying out the survey from the insurance company. In fact, I have called them atleast 13-15 times till now. Each time i get a reply that they will call me back with proper information. But I have not received any call from them till now.
          Infact, I have also raised a complaint with TATA AIG customer care centre. I was informed that I will hear back from them within 48 hours. Its more than a month and I have still not heard.

          TATA Authorized service centre contact person has been asking me to follow up with the insurance comapny. Isnt is surprising - TATA car being repaired in TATA authorized service centre and covered with TATA AIG insurance but the customer has to do all the running around.

          Seeing this approach I would advise all the customers to stay away from TATA cars and insurance products unless there is a guarantee to improve the customer service from their end.

            Tata Aig took premium for 1 year and issued policy No [protected] 01 and mentioned period as from[protected] to[protected] but without
            my permission or consent reduced it to six months without giving any document to me. This is a nice way to do things as the money is with them and as per their sweet will they reduce the coverage time and as always ask for more money.
            Some sort of penalty should be imposed on them so that it would pinch them and also force them to take decision beneficial to Customers.

              For urgent financial need I have surrendered my policy having Policy No. U[protected]
              on 6th Feb 2012 at Kalyan Branch I were told that it will be processed immediately and payment will be credited my Saving Bank account within 10 working days. However I have not received my money in my account till date, I have submitted all the documents required on 6th Feb, 12 . Today I have got their mail that my they have processed my request on 15th Feb, 2012 and payment will be done from 10 days thereafter. Hence I request to honorary judge for this forum please direct TATA AIG to pay my money at the earliest with NAV as on 15th Feb.2012

                Dear sir,

                I am a customer of TATAAIG since 2004 and there are 4 (four) policy going on in my name.
                On early of December, 2011, I got a call from Mr. Souparna Rakshit (Mo# [protected]) that my policy# U[protected] is not performing well and they have better option for me. So he requested me for an appointment and he came to my home along with his college Debamitra Biswas (Mo#[protected]).
                They asked me to surrender my old policy# U[protected] and total fund will be reinvested in a new fund.
                They told me that for the new fund I have to pay premium for only one time and I don’t have to pay any premium for next years.
                However after 3 years I can withdrawal my full amount.
                But later on I came to know that the benefits of new policy are totally different that they had explained to me.

                So I cancelled my new policy#U[protected], after requesting your employees for more than 100 times.
                Then they asked me to write a mail to them that I have a requirement of fund, and then only they can cancel my policy. And I did the same.
                I got a SMS on 07-January-2012 that my policy has been cancelled and I will return my full money with in 10 workings day.

                Today is 10th of February-2012, still now I not received and cheque /draft/bank credit.
                I between I try to communicate your employees so many but they did not received my phone or not answered my SMS also.
                Even I called to customer care help desk and logged a complain (complain#S[protected] on 31-January-2012, but my goodness no result.

                This is the service that TATA-AIG is selling to the customer? Why there are so many fraud and dishonest employees in TATA?
                I can not expect this type of service from a company like TATA.
                Should I continue my others policies or this the indication that I should think about any other company for my new policy?
                Seriously speaking I became frustrated and hopeless about your service for the last 1 and half month.

                Could you please let me know when can I return back my money?

                    I have taken a health insurance policy for the family of my driver, in July 2011. All transaction happened through mobile. I was told that the policy doc and health card would be sent by courier in 15 days. That 15 days has not happened yet, and it is February 2012 (more than 7 months passed), and I didn't receive any documents or health cards.
                    I have bought a health policy for my driver and his family, in July 2011. I was told that the policy docs and cards would be sent in 15 days, but nothing happened.

                    I have written many times to [protected]@tata-aig.com and they responded saying that it is being sent and also gave a courier ID for tracking, and on the courier website the number given was invalid. The policy number is WF[protected]. Now they stopped responding to my mails too.

                    I have no idea as to which office i have to go and beg to get the cards and policy. Even that is not known. I saw one address on internet and went to Ahura Centre, Andheri East, there security told me that tata aig insurance office got shifted to somewhere more than 3 years back.

                    Using IVR for TATA AIG insurance gives most horrible experience of life. After each statement there is a long pause and they expect people to spend few hours for getting any meaningful information. Once I tried to lodge complain through IVR, Even after more than 5-8 minutes, nothing meaningful info I could get.

                    So my sincere advise to readers here: Do not fall prey with this TATA AIG health insurance, who just snatch money from people and DOES NOT BOTHER TO GIVE ANY SERVICE. Never expected this from a Tata company.

                      I had taken TATA AIG Insurance policy. The TATA AIG Representative filledup the application form for 15yrs term policy with out knowing my self he has changed it. And the TATA AIG asked me to pay premium for 15yrs. When I came to know that I had contacted TATA AIG Customer Care , They said that what ever form we have received we will execute it and the customer has to pay for that. If the customer is not paying premium for 15yrs also the TATA AIG benefitted by taking the money from customer paid for first time. And the money is not going to return back to customers even if it is 1 laksh as per IRDA norms.


                      If TATA AIG is cheating customers by this way of filling up the form for any number of years and telling customers you have to pay premium for 15yrs else your money will be lost. Then definetly the TATA become India's Richest Cheating Business man.

                      TATA AIG Cheating Customer by taking money From each customer 1 lakh they are collecting and filling up the form for 15yrs and Ofcourse the customer is not going to pay premium for 15yrs, so TATA AIG can take whole money and not going to return back any single paise to either customer or income tax dept.

                      TATA s too involved in cheating business now a days.!!!

                        TATA AIG CAR INSURANCE — Cash not refunded even after 15 days

                        Hi,

                        This is Rajnish Kumar Sharma from Distt. Kangra Himachal Pradesh-176031. I met an accident on 16th April 2011 and pick my car to Maruti authorized center Tricity (Zirkpur) on 18th April 2011. I have get my car insured from TATA AIG. I talk to the Tata AIG help line regarding the accident and they told me in the mentioned Maruti repair center our policy is not cashless while at the time of insurance renewal they told me its cashless throughout India. Maruti center committe me 25th April 2011 for car delivery but when i called them they told me now person from the insurance company come to take the survey. Then again I call for 2-3 days continuously at last on 28th of April surveyor visit the site. I paid total amount Rs. 17790 /- for getting my car repaired. When i call the insurance office for confirmation when will i get the check from your side they told me our commitment is of seven days maximum. Even after 10 days i do not get any response from the insurance company and even they don't know the status of my Cheque. I am totally harassed by this company. Could you please do the needful?

                            COMPANY IS NOT GIVING CLAIM OF POLICY

                            I have taken Insurance for my car Chevrolet Spark (No. - HR 19D 8636) from TATA AIG on 02.07.11.

                            Due to negligence from executive who makes insurance she made the policy on other name i.e. Ibrahim and cover note on my name i.e. Sube Singh.

                            I came to know that policy is not on my name when I had given my car for accidental repair to the workshop 08.10.11.

                            I asked the workshop executive to continue...

                            I have applied for TATA AIG Life Mahalife Gold with annual premium of Rs 49,503.I recieve the policy document and there are the forget signature in the policy document.I was commited 50% of annual premium gurentee return from 6th year, however in policy my original sign document are missing and in place forged signature document are attach.
                            This is the serious concern and and it the responsibilty of TATA AIG company to validate the policy before issuing to the consumer.
                            Please look into this issue and refund the policy amount in full as I do not want to continue in this policy.

                            I check my policy and found that forged signature is being done on it.I think some sort of fraud is going on in TATA AIG either by Brokers or TATA AIG employee or Both.

                              I, Chandulal Hotchand Kewalramani on Dt.14.09.2011 at around 01.30.00PM. I had given Rs.56/- with documents for above vehicle to Miss.Shweta at your Shriram-Shyam Tower, Nagpur for change the insurance in my name, I also come with above vehicle for inspection if there were some need or may be some formalities.

                              I have not got any receipt for the same and given assurance that one of your officer will come and do the formalities and give you the transferred policy

                              .I also confirm the same with you officer Victor Raj Rocque Unit Manager - Ban assurance & Affinity and one shri Swanill Shashtri at the time.

                              Till today I will neither get any documents nor any contact from your side,

                              Will you please tell me that what exact time taken by you company for this procedure.

                              I had tried so many times to your officer but all in vain. What should I do other than this.

                              Please do the needful and arrange to post the policy at my address duly change the name.

                                this is a complaint regarding non reinstatement of policy no u[protected] of dr shashai bhushan when i went to ur mysore office they said the above policy can be reinstatedand collected a cheque for rs 180000 dtd 17/08/2011 but later i received a letter saying that the policy cannot be reinstated as tata aig have closed the policy i should get 25%of the fund value as on 2yrs plus the interst from the date of closure of the policy. now either the policy hsa to be reinstated or close the policy and refund the 25%fund value with interst upto date

                                  I accepted an insurance policy by TATA AIG and wanted to discontinue that in April 2011 I sent many emails requesting them to cancel the policy which they did after lot of requests. The excess premium charged has not been recredited by them to my card account My policy number is RSBTM[protected] S. Kasinathan I sent mails on 190411, 210411,040511, 200511,210511,280511(two mails),010611,270611, 190711,200711,020811 and 080811. Though I received mails stating that the amount has been recredited to my card account in June 2011 itself the same is not reflecting in my card statement, for which they asked me to send the password for opening the statement which I duly sent on 08082011. Till today it has not been recredited
                                  please look into this and advise me what I have to next

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    This is in reference to the cover note 11009196. My Car Policy renewal was due in March and TATA AIG agent took a check of Rs 5000/- in the month of January. He promised that I will get the policy in the month of March 2011.
                                    Further to the above cover note, I didnt' receive any car insurance policy until July 2011. In july, I received a letter from TATA AIG stating my premimum is shortfall by Rs 587. It came as a surprise to me since the Agent agreed on Rs 5000/- and i had other offers at that time for same premium.
                                    I called TATA AIG and compained about the Agent. During our conversation I asked TATA AIG to refund Rs 5000/- incase they can't issue the policy. The compaint was noted down and I was assured about the payment.
                                    I haven't received the payment until now. I called them few days back and they said you would get a refund of around 3000+ under some section. I have no ideas where I am at fault since the premium was told by an agent and I have the receipt. I have been driving my car without coverage from past 6 months. Request you to take an action and resolve the issue.

                                    private car — policy not received

                                    i have purchase car from khanna motor chandigarh on 27/11/2007 whose insurance is done by your company at that time i got only covernote . on 24/11/2008 in i register a complain on toll free number i. reguest for renwal so that i can renew insurance of my car but no proper iresponse is given to me. complaint number is 44881.
                                    Reuest you to take the matter seriously and provide me the renewal. so i can renew my insurance because now vehicle is in risk.

                                    TATA AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. — Not get the policy Documents & Money refund

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I, Manish Sharma, Bought a health & hospitalization policy from TATA AIG on basis of telephonic conversation on 27th Nov,09. and my HDFC Bank Credit Card was debited from the amount of Rs.8030/-. while, i was told that there would be monthly deduction from your credit card of Rs. 669.17/- only and it is including all service charges. and you'll get the policy documets within 7 working days. but I've not recieved documents till 12th Dec,09, then i called custome care no. of TATA AIG and complained about not getting policy documents and the credit card bill where Rs.8030/- mentioned as payment against TATA AIG Policy. the executive told me that we'll send the documents again and the amount can't be convert into interest free EMIs. so, i asked him to cancel my policy. he took my complain and told me that I'll get my money credited into my credit card within 2-3 working days.

                                    but it not happned till 28th of Dec,09. and i got a call from TATA AIG for another policy. i asked him baout my previous policy refund, he transferred my call to concerned dept. and the concerned person told me that i[censored] want that policy continue with pemium as low as Rs.2075, we'll refund your remaining amount within 2-3 working days. i accepted that offer bcz, there was no hope of getting my money back, so, its better to get as much as possible.
                                    But till i didn't get my money till 4th Jan,10, then again i called to TATA AIG and i was told that we've transeferred Rs.5955/- to your credit card account and it will be credited in your card within 2 days, but till date i didn't get my money and this is vey crucial time for me as i am taking loan to pay my credit cards bill.

                                    Please help me in this matter if possible otherwise guide me so that i can take appropriate action.

                                    I gave a cheque to TATA AIG to get "Renewal of Private Car Policy", on 18Sept 2010. The money has got debited from my account.
                                    However Its been 3 weeks past, i have not received my policy till now.
                                    My previous policy has already expired and i have yet not received my policy.
                                    Evertime i call the customer care, i am informed that i will receive the policy in 2 days.
                                    TATA AIG has now started robbing customers of thier money.
                                    I hope i receive my policy at the earliest, lest a complaint to be lodged in police for the cheating they are doing.

                                    Issue has not been resolved as yet. I was told I will receive a cheque and the same should be returned to TATA AIG. In return, I will get my Car policy.
                                    I am still waiting to receive cheque.
