I have taken a policy from TATA AIG which covers the depreciation as well. The premium I paid was Rs. 6299 otherwise the premium w/o depreciation cover would have been about Rs. 4700. When my vehicle went in for a claim at the workshop the executive of the workshop told me that the depreciation is not covered while the premium charged is that of the depreciation. The call center people are not able to figure out that my policy covers depreciation or not. The grievance has not been taken care as yet. It seems that I have been cheated. Somebody please help me.

    Dear Sir,
    I got my right hand finger (middle) damaged and operated from Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi under Raksha TPA from TATA AIG HEALTH Insurance and As per Doctor report for operation and cost send to Raksha TPA many times but they are team is not responded long time then I awaited 2 three days the we arrange hard amount for operation around Rs. 45000 then doctor operate my hand and done. Then as per RAKSHA TPA Agent you can file your claim to insurance co. your amount shall be clear
    Then after operation and under treatment cost to file your branch for claim for reimbursement amount Bill submit to your branch (TATA-AIG, NEHRU PLACE) Date of Dec20, 2010 and there agent is suggest to me your claim is cleared within 20 to 25 Days.. but we time being follow up from 5 Jan to till date. Then Mr. Vinit Jain[protected] is told me please confirm on next week many time told me after that 2nd FEB 2011 he is clear your claim is done then I goes there for collection for Amount then I shocked claim amount is Rs. 500 olny how is possible. And my claimed amount Rs. 40000 above Amount then then there agent is suggest pls write a letter regarding this claim and forward your request and all bill are submitted to your Branch New Delhi
    I hope to help Sir, I too mentally damaged above amount if is not cleared my claim then I will go to Consumer court for this claim

      I am M.Naresh Kumar. I have received a policy in the tata aig insurance company Ltd. I have sent email on 26 nov 2010 and register post on 27 nov 2010 along with the policy certificate about the cancellation of the policy as per the refund rate structure (i.e. within 14 days). But they have debited (India ideas) EMI amount of Rs.951.33 from my ICICI BANK credit card. I would request to refund the amount RS 951.33 with interest. I have mentioned the policy details below.

        This is to inform you that i am a clint of TATA AIG form bilaspur Branch Chhattisgarh. I have taken a policy namely health aasure policy for my family. Now i want to take benefit against my policy for my medical purpose , but nobudy is interested to guide me , i have tried to contact my service provider but he is not working in that brach and many times i have tried to contact with brach manager but not getting any setisfactory answer form the agent.

        Noe i am not interested to paid my next installment due to bad service and neglegence.

        Kindly take necessary action against the company and service provider.

          Dear sir,I the undersigned bearing policy No:C[protected],C[protected] & C[protected] since Oct 2010 hereby wish to cancel the said policy with Immediate effect.Initially i was told that Rs 1800 will be deducted for 3 months and thereafter Rs 263/-.Eventhow it was followed for couple of months and then again rs 1887(985+263+639) has been deducted.Moreever there is no proper response as & when contacted to your Agent (Agent code no[protected] & Name is Rahul Maruti Warekar)in this regards.since i cannot afford to pay 1800/month therefore i have decided to revoke this policy.i Humbly request you to do the needful at the earliest.

          Dear sir,

          I am kuldeep malik I have purchase tata aig med claim policy on my mother name Smt kamala devi policy no. [protected] . My mother admitted in hospital for 12 day, i informed timely and put up all required document by tata aig. My claim no[protected] dated 25/11/2010 and complaint no 7585298, I also follow up contunisuly in a week two time but they gave me my claim money, they said me your mother claim on process but according to policy, The claim settled in 7 working days . 25/11/2010 to till date how many 7 working days. Plz ask to to tata -aig staff Mr . Rohan Patkar claim officer at Mumbai office what type of process of my mother claim? They had also talked with doctor and hospital staff which was my mother admitted, either not able to settle my claim or they intensely purpose not settled my claim.
          So I requested to you plz provide me my claim money with interest because not getting of claim money.

            I had contacted by Hyundai renewal department for the promotion of TATA AIG motor car insurance, while promtion the lady promised me for the free gift coupons alng with the main policy over that promtion and her offer i had taken a policy and made payment. she told me that the promised coupons will be delivered to your home along with the car insurance policy, but i didn't got any coupons along with the policy. Now when i am trying that lady number she didin't pick her phone and if pick the phone she cut the phone when she got to know that it was ny phone. please guide me how to go about it. as its not about the free coupons its about the fake promtions every companies are doing now.

              I have taken the health policy for my mother from TATA AIG but they misguided me.On the same day after taking policy they are saying different thing on the name of confirmation call.I have registered my complaint on toll free no.[protected] on 15 jan .And they are saying that they are taking on 100 Rs for policy cancellation but now I do not have any policy paper and they have not send me the policy paper on mail also as they promised on 5 jan.and today is 15 jan .10 days past and they have not got the policy on the mail also.

                This is regarding the policy ITIG[protected] and SMBTM[protected] which i had bought on 5th and 6th October 2010. During the process where i was asked for my credit card details and i was also assured to that i will be sent the detailed policy documents within 7 working days and will be given 45 days of time to decide on whether to go with the policy's. But since then i have never received the policy documents and they have called me more then 30 times in these many days and only suggested me for different policy and confirmed for my address. every time i ask them for the documents they say its delivered and ask for my address again and again. And even when i write a mail to the support team they reply me back with the policy paid bill and no policy documents. And recently i even ask them for the cancellation three times and they have promised to send me the documents but they never did so. Can i Please get some help here in discontinuing the policys Please i am tired of their calls with suggestions and stopped recievning their calls Please i do need some help here and also they r deducting emi amount from my CC which is the part of the policy payment and they have been doing this when i have not given confirmation to go with these 2 policys. I am really tired with these people pLease do need some help!!!

                  Dear TATA AIG Team,

                  I am a customer of a health insurance policy issued by you. While doing renewal of my policy through credit card using your policy acceptance form, I realised that, you only ask for credit card number and expiry date and I am required to fax this form with these sensitive information at a number mentioned on your form[protected].

                  There is no security measure involved in doing transaction through this mode as anyone who has access to this form, can forge the document and misuse my card.

                  Please stop this option of renewing the policy where by customer don't have any control over the transaction

                  Only transation of telephone should be allowed whereby curstomers can enter some password over a secure telephone line.

                      I received a call from a dealer of TATA AIG about a health insurance scheme which seemed to me very attractive. I gave a positive reply to accept the service and accordingly paid the first opening premium(Rs 400/-). But till date no receipt has been received or any phone calls.I do not have any evidence accept the tag no. of the form they used.

                        I have surrendered my policy on 30/11/2010 in Kolkata office. Till today the credit has not reach to my bank account. I have made several call to the respective office and also to the customer care centre. Every time it was said that some body will contact you with respect to the same however it is almost 20 days no body bother to call or did the needful.

                        First they said it will take 7 days,then 10 days,then 15 days. Every time I called up they said it is under process. I need to resolve this as soon as possible as I have certain medical unavoidable circumstances which needs to address immediately.

                          Sub: Request to terminate my policy with TATA AIG and refund of amount

                          Dear Sir

                          I have taken a Personal Accident Plan from TATA AIG over the phone the details are

                          Policy No: BTM[protected]

                          Insured Name: Manimant Singh

                          Monthly Premium : Rs 688.00 (Rs 701.00 Inc of 12.36% service tax that time)

                          Sum Assured: Rs 20,00,000.00

                          Date of Commencement: 29 October 2008

                          Expiry Date: 28 October 2009

                          In spite of policy expired on 28 Oct 2009 TATA AIG is continually charging monthly premium through my credit card. In the policy document it was clearly mentioned that policy period is for one year and even the expiry date was mentioned in it. In additional Information booklet provided by the TATA AIG on Page no 6 Part D : Uniform Provision under point no 5 Expiration Date it is clearly mentioned that “ This policy will terminate at the expiration of the period for which premium has been paid or on the Expiration date shown in the Proposal and Declaration Form and Policy Schedule, whichever is earlier.” Further TATA AIG has never taken any consent from me for continuation of the policy and no letter or intimation was provided regarding the same to me.

                          After realizing the fact first I have called to the customer care no. ([protected]) provided along with the policy documents but no reply and response was given, I have written very first mail to [protected]@tata-aig.com giving all the details of my policy and asked to terminate my policy immediately on 21st Jan 2010. Subsequently I have sent few more reminders on the same mail ID but no reply has come. In between, I have received a call from TATA AIG regarding the policy than also I updated about the situation to Customer care executive but he was unable to provide any help and the same I mentioned in my mail and sent again to [protected]@tata-aig.com.

                          Later, I came across to one employee of TATA AIG Mr Sanket Verekar and forwarded my request to him. He confirmed me of forwarding my mail to proper person and assured of necessary action at TATA AIG end.

                          But later, I realized that my policy is still in continuation then I forwarded my mail once again to [protected]@tata-aig.com in the month of May 2010.

                          When this mail also went unaddressed, I called at customer support no of TATA AIG and asked to terminate my policy with immediate effect, they have accepted my request and issued cancelation request no. which is 869401.

                          After receiving the cancelation request no. I was assured that no further money will be charged from my credit card in future.

                          Later going through the card statement I have realized that TATA AIG is cheating me and it has charged me all the months for the policy.

                          I paid the monthly charges willingly up to Oct 28 2010(Expiry Date of policy) but later TATA AIG has cheated me by charging me on my credit card without my consent. Going through to their unethical behavior and response I have very much doubts, in case of any miss happening to me they would have never settled my claims.

                          Sir, I have tried every possible channel ie mail, customer support no. and employee of TATA AIG but no one is responding to my request deliberately and they are continuously charging me without my consent. I request you to help me out of this policy termination issue. I will be very great full to you and your organization to help me get my money back from the TATA AIG which they have deducted throughout the policy tenure because of their malice and unethical practices.                             This is to hereby inform you that myself Akhilesh Mishra,Tata AIG has hijack my HSBC A/c on 08th of Oct 2010 Friday, and stolen my rupees without any information to me TATA AIG is a TERRORIST COMPANY....

                            i am going to take this case very seriouslyyy and u people have to bared huge penalty for this,,, i am going to open this fake TATA AIG company on the newspaper and going to POLICE FIR CASE FOR THIS.....
                            Agreed this is a one type of robbery done by TATA AIG...

                              I purchased a policy of my car Swift Dzire Vdi from the Panipat branch of Tata Aig, near Sanjay Chowk, Panipat. While purchasing the policy, the bill of car was attached in which it was clearly mentioned that it is a Diesel car and the premium charged was also according to it in cover note, but when I received the policy No.[protected], I was totally surprised to see that a number of mistakes were appearing on it. The matter was immediately brought to the notice of Mr. Jain, Branch Manager, but, irrespective of a number of reminders I am unable to get the endorsement on the policy. According to him he has sent the e-mail to head office Mumbai to rectify the policy, but, the head office is not supporting him. I don't know why the company is not co-operating in the matter even after 14 days of reminder.

                                Tata-AIG Life Insurance ULIP is a big fraud. If you have one of this investment, try surrendering it. THE MONEY IS NOT RETURNED. I have been calling them everyday over the last one month. They have not yet dispatched my cheque.

                                There is no accountability. Your complaints do not get addressed. Nobody calls you back. They just sit on it and tell you the same words every day - "We'll get back to you with more details in the next 48 hours."

                                Never, ever invest in Tata AIG, if you love your money. If already invested, kiss your money Goodbye.
                                ULIP is Unit Linked Plan where a factor is driven by the market.But accountabilty over the cusotmers money seems to be less with a clause that "Risk is beared by POlicy holder).Not sure tommorrw, Will i be considered as a fraud .if i opens a financial institiute and gets customers money and returns the invested amount or less after 10 years to the customer and myself keeps the interest or rolls the amount for my purpose during that 10 year.

                                Seems non ethical.But laws needs to be confirmed with a lawyer and have to check about the document signed by you .IF document is not per RBI views the validaity of the signature again needs to be checked with the lawyer.

                                  One of TATA AIG person (Mr. Harnam / Roshani ) called me from mambai customer care on 21th of Oct 2010 for renewal of my CAR insurance policy which is due on 25 Oct 2010 . Hence I issued the total policy amount of Rs. 7587 through Credit Card no. they have provide me the transaction ID which is 032557 , after that II called the credit card customer care department they told me that the amount has deducted through your credit card on 21th oct 2010 to TATA AIG Bill dax mumbai . Credit Card department acknowledge receiving the money credit in their bank account as well. Its more than 5 days now but I have not got the renewed Insurance Policy softcopy, as that person (Mr. Harnam) told me you will get the softcopy of your insurance with in 48 Hrs. I have complained to Tata AIG Customer care about 3-4 times but still they have not resolved the issue , My complained id is[protected]. Whenever I speak to them or write mail regarding this, they give standard reply that my complaint is under process please wait for sometime.
                                  I request you to can you please just confirm through mail or SMS on my mobile , so that I have some confidance that my amount has deducted to correct party (Tata AIG).

                                    Hi!!

                                    I have recently renewed my car insurance policy with TATA and I have been given wrong information telephonically by the executive which I cam to know only upon recieving the policy. The details are there in the mail below and subsequently I have been following it up with TATA to sort out the issues but they are not agreeing.

                                    Finally, I have asked for hearing the telephonic converation with the executive to which they have not yet responded.

                                    While buying the insurance policy for my car online, I was told by your executive Mr Wajid telephonically that inspite of any sort of claims arising during the policy coverage period, my no claim bonus for the next year will not be waived off if I continue with TATA.



                                    Today I have received the policy by mail which mentions that :

                                    TA08-Repair of Glass, Fiber, Plastic & Rubber Parts

                                    A claim for only Glass / plastic / rubber / fiber part where You opt for repairs rather than replacement,

                                    at Our authorized workshop, will not affect Your No Claim Bonus eligibility at the time of renewal

                                    with Us if there is no other claim for damage to the vehicle during the period of insurance..



                                    This seems to me that I have not been given correct information on the phone while making a purchase decision and this was a major factor for considering TATA AIG. In any kind of accident the parts mentioned above are the ones which need replacement, they cannot be repaired and therefore you will not give no claim bonus if at all there are any claims form my end if I continue next year.



                                    Please clarify your stand as this kind of misrepresentation was not expected from TATA.

                                      Hi,
                                      I have been with TATA AIG auto insurance for my car since 2003. The insurance lapses 20th Oct 2010. No one from TATA AIG called me as reminder which use to happen earlier. I placed a request with TATA AIG on their web site two week prior to expiry of the insurance. Atleast 12 representatives have called me so far. Not one has responded, acted as their promises is limited to that particular call. Today i am unable to use my car as the insurance is lapsed. At any given point of time atleast one of my family member has to stay at home expecting TATA AIG representaive to collect the cheque. The representatives over phone communicate me to use credit card and pay online. But i do not own a credit card.This is happening for the past two weeks or more. I am frustrated the way TATA AIG operates. Though 12 people have called me, no one seem to be aware of the request. Every time they call i furnish the same information which was shared during earlier calls. I request concern at TATA AIG to pull themselves out of this business if they can`t server their customers.

                                      I hope concern from consumer forum notices my plight and take required action.

                                      I absolutely agree with you on this. TATA AIG has ansolutely no concept of customer service. Infact rather than improving the customer experience they ensure that they continuosly make it bad. I also insured my car with them last year & not with my regular Maruti Insurance. the reason was the seemingly gr8 benefits that they were offering like free service coupons, NCB benefit pass on even after a claim, possession of the parts to the customer etc. Because of these reasons i got my insurance done from TATA AIG despite the fact that their cost was much higher than others. And now almost 70% of the insurance tenure is over & i still have not recieved the coupons. they only keep on replying to the mails, make calls, then say that the old person has quit the organization & things like that. Waste so much time & money such useless employees but can't spend 50 rs on sending th courier to me..
                                      Tata aig motor ins in south india (coimbatore) is very poor performence due to the survayer and agents.they allare hopeless. Always telling lie. false promise for cashless facility. Now i paid full amount.not yet they dont gave any type of check.mr.mohammed(survoyer) is selfish fellow he doesnt know how to check the veh and didnt bauther about company.they only for salary.pls high formation check and confirm.dont happen with others.

                                        I have purchased a health insurance policy from TATA AIG for myself and my spouse over phone and paid that through my credit card on 4th October, 2010. While taking the details over phone insurance people promised me to provide the documents within next 7days. But, till now I have not received any documents. When I am calling their toll free number, only voice recordings is being heard. there is no email id for the complaints also. I dont know how to contact them. Please help.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        My wife has purchased a insurance Sum of Rs.225000/-vide application No.C[protected] in month of Nov.2011. through Blue Chip, Girgaum, Mumbai.My Wife name Is Mrs.Alka Kamlakar Jadhav.
                                        Sir, Cheque issued by her has debited in her Bank Account.She has not received Certificate till to-date.
                                        Please look into the matter send Certificate at Residence Address as early as possible.
