I have Tata AIG Car Insurance "0% Depreciation Policy" Cover Note # 12599988 and Insurance Claim #[protected]. On 21st.February.2015, I have given my Car DL 7C 2417 for accidental repair to "NIMBUS Hyundai" @ Madan Mohan Malviya Marg, Sahibabad Industrial Area Site 4. Car's both "Front and Rear Bumpers" were damaged in the accident. After assessment on 24th.February.2015 (after 3 days), TATA AIG surveyor (Mr. Ravi Pant, Contact No# [protected]) has rejected "Back Side Bumper claim". However, the damage is significant (Color of the bumper damaged and there are some major scratches). And at the time of claim the brand name like TATA AIG are making excuses. Need your support to pass the claim of repair by Tata AIG. Customer Care Complaint # 3582990
What was the excuse that was given by the insurance agent? Back bumper should be covered right?

    Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Rakesh Ghadi, I and my family members have TATA-AIG health insurance mediclaim policies which are as below. 1. Member Id : MPN[protected] Name: REKHA GHADI Policy No: [protected] From: 28/06/2013 To 27/06/2014 I am very disappointed with the fact that we do not get support from Tata-AIG, when we need it. In spite of such towering claims by the insurance provider before the policy, we are not even taken care; instead I should say we are harassed when we need the benefit of Policy. We would like to give you brief about the incident; My mother was admitted to the Hospital named WOCKHARDT on 14th of Jan 2015, due to some weakness and stomach pain. When we came to know that, she needs to hospitalized for a week or more than that. We immediately intimate hospital to inform my insurance company about the incident, so we can get some help from them (TATA-AIG). Hospital people took immediate action on it and they had submitted all documents on 14th of Jan 2015 (1st Time) which was required on behalf o[censored]s. Now, after two days we got the news that our claim was rejected due to non submission of Doctors consultation paper and other papers. We contacted Customer care and we got the same reply from them. We also asked Customer care about all documents required for my Mediclaim approval. We again rush to the doctors team and told them to resend all the document required and they did it on 16th Jan 2015.(2nd Time) Same day I called up to Tata-AIG customer care, they acknowledged that documents received from them and told me wait for further remarks. Next day on 17th Jan we again got the news that my claim was rejected for the same reason as told earlier. I immediately called up to your customer care and they said they need paper which is consulted to your doctors and other some report which is related to liver disease. When I have earlier called them, they have not told that they need any more documents. And when I had sent the required documents as per their instructions, they again told me that some more documents needed. I was very upset, that I haven’t got any proper response from TATA-AIG. I again requested doctors team that please resend all document which is in the file up till now on 17th of Jan 2015 (3rd Time) This time I forwarded all document to customer care executive to get his confirmation and I got the same. He said we received your document please wait for one hour. After an hour I got the same reply again and was helpless!! Above whole incident happened, when my mother was in serious condition. Finally after all this delay and follow-up, got the reply from TATA-AIG that I need to again submit all medical documents to branch which is in Lower Parel-Mumbai for reimbursement. I went to your branch at Lower Parel-Mumbai, where they told us “now you do proper filing and courier to our Hyderabad team who will respond to you…..!!”. You can notice that instruction was never proper, one and the other (customer care executives/concerned persons) kept telling different instructions and solution and making me to run from one point to another. God’s know knows what will happen if I will send my documents to Hyderabad they will also suggest me to send this to Dubai and then from Dubai, will suggest me to send this into the space ….!! Please remember we are asking for our money, which we have given you for our family security, not for playing with us. We got so much promises to take care and proper safety from you at the time of policy payment. But at the time of need, the ground fact is we are forced to suffer and the response is pathetic.       This is a written reminder after my verbal communication with your executive on the toll free no. She promised to send the policy through e-mail and through courier. Till date I have not received either. It was sent earlier which went back due to house being locked. The person confirmed the address and said he will send it again. It is surprising that a company of your repute sends a letter of Endorsement of my address!!!(It hasn' t changed) and has not bothered to send my policy. When it comes to collect cheque, I get lot of calls, but there was no call by the courier before coming to my house. You cannot expect somebody to be present all the time at home!!! This is NOT the first time. Last year I received my policy papers after nearly 8 months.

        My wife Sunita Bansal purchased a new Verna CRD SX 1.6 BSIV SLEEK SILVER car bearing chasis number 162877, Engine number 346445 bearing registration number HR03R 3950, date of purchase 16/06/2014, from M/s Ultimate Automoblie Private Limited, Plot No. 154-155, Industrial Area, Phase 1, Chandigarh. At the time of purchase of the car the company officials insisted us to go for car insurance from TATA AIG as we were not interested in this company insurance but they insisted us to go for TATA AIG bumper to bumper insurance policy and they told us at that time that we will have to not even a single penny in case of any accident, as the insurance policy is bumper to bumper. I feel that the company/Agency owner might be an agent of the TATA AIG also. That insurance of our Verna car was done by the company officials in the agency premises and cover note number 12852888 of TATA AIG was given to us and we were assured by these people that the insurance claim is cashless and you will have to pay nothing. In the first week of October, the car met with a minor accident, in which the side mirror was broken, bumper of the car was also slightly damaged, even the left tyre of the vehicle was also got damaged along with minor more damages to the car. When we went to the Ultimate Automobiles Private Limited they told us that the repair of the car will be done and there is nothing to worry. But after two days I received a call from some surveyor of the company, who asked me un-necessary questions which frustrated me. And he told me that he will not pass the claim of the right side mirror, tyre, other damages. Later on the company officials told us on telephone that the surveyor has passed the claim of front bumper only, against which I had to pay them 2000/- rupees in cash inspite of bumper to bumper insurance. Sir, this is totally injustice on the part of insurance company M/s TATA AIG and the car dealer M/s Ultimate Automobile private limited. At the time of purchase of the car M/s Ultimate Automobiles Private Limited has made false promises regarding their service and claim from the insurance company but did nothing in our favour. you are requested to look into the matter and do justice with us.           My wife Sunita Bansal Purchased A VERNA CRD SX 1.6 BSIV Sleek Silver Car From M/s Ultimate Automobiles PVT LTD, Chandigarh on dt 16/06/2014.We got TATA AIG Insurance vide cover note Number 12852886.The insurance policy was Bumper to Bumper.In the first week of oct.the side mirror of my Our car was broken in a minor accident and front bumper was also damaged.There were also minor damages to the car but when we sent our car for repair in the same Company M/s Ultimate Motors Pvt Ltd, We received a call from the surveyor, who told us that he can only pass the claim of Front bumper only and refused the rest claim.The claim of bumper was given, and Rs.2000/-was charged, inspite of the policy was bumper to bumper.At the time of giving policy, we were told that we have not to pay even a single penny in case of any accident.Now we demand the refunf of Rs.2000/-and the rest of repair of the car.Otherwise we have to proceed the court of Law.             Sir, My wife is having Maruthi Omini and insured with TATA AIG, Hyderbad Branch. We have renewed the policy in September 24th 2014. Our Policy No: is[protected]. We have paid Rs 6725by way of Cheque, the cheque is also cleared, but the policy copy has not yet ready. While we approach the Branch they told that some software problem is there and next day somebody told there are plenty of holidays in MUMBAI so that the policy is delayed. This seems that TATA AIG is having interest in collecting money not giving proper service. The same is occured for my I-10 car policy also. C.Ramesh [protected]

              I have had a Tata AIG Travel Insurance from my company when I had travelled in March 2014. I met with an accident during the travel and got a bill of around 1 Lakh rupees. I couldnt pay that amount so I shared the insurance policy to the hospital so they can arrange a direct payment from insurance. But Tata AIG did not pay this for around 3 months and I started getting reminders and warnings from the hospital to clear the bill. I requested Tata AIG to settle the amount for which the conclusion was to pay the amount by myself and then claim it that too by deducting 6000 rupees from the claim amount!!! Well, if I am in a position to pay such a huge bill, why the hell did I wait for 4 months and requested Tata AIG ?!!! Just to get some extra fine i believe!!! The service is very pathetic. They take almost 10 days to reply to your query. Really frustrating. Please dont opt for any service from this insurance. Else they will test your patience.

                This is with reference to the claim number[protected] for which we have not received our money from last 4 months. we are continuously following up with them from last 4 months and customer care people are telling us that it is in process and we will get it soon. Now as we have no more patience so we have started writing mails and received first reply from Upasana Pandey stating that claim representative contact you at the earliest. Today received an e-mail from Vikas Bhardwaj[protected] stating: We are in the due course of processing your claim .As per surveyor the claim report was held up due to the below mentioned reasons. He tried contacting yourself on the number given in claim form but the number was unresponsive. Also from yesterday onwards after receipt of your mail we are trying to contact you on the numbers given in your mail but still there is no response. You are requested to submit us with following documents at the earliest so that claim could be processed: 1) Reasons for delay of one month in claim intimation. Date of accident is 17 May 2014 whereas claim registered with us on 18 June 2014. 2) Details of injury to Driver/Occupants/Third Party. 3) Details of police FIR. My reply was: First of all I am really surprised to see that after 4 months you people are awake to ask documents. All the necessary documents were already furnished which now I am not going to give and if any document was incomplete, why we were being told by customer care people that things r in process..we will get the claim soon. Why it was not communicated to us that it is on hold??? Moreover you people tried contacting us which is the biggest lie.we are educated and want you to educate yourself about the missed call alert service which is activated on both the.numbers given...neither calls nor miss call alerts received.. I am not going to give any damn document now and really dont want you people to send such useless mails... PLEASE HELP US AS WE ARE STUCK WITH THESE PEOPLE FOR OUR 1.5 LAC RUPEES

                  Do not purchase car policy or renew car policy from TATA AIG, they are frauds, issued a cover note for renewal of car policy, executive took cash but they turned out to be fraud. Customer care executives are rude, do not give complete information nor transfer call to concerned department, keep screaming about process, absolutely crap. Will never deal with TATA AIG again, bringing dishonor to TATA group and will never suggest to buy a policy from them. Got calls from - [protected], [protected]

                      Dear Sir/Ma'am, My self Mr. Moiz Bakir Electricwala, I had taken a policy of Tata AIG Life Company Limited in the year 2002, by the name of Mr. Firoz had been registered my account and 3 account was activated by him, through cheque. Then as per delay due to i was travelling Mr Firoz suggest me to activate ECS account & i was agree to it to activate. After few month Mr. Firoz call me and explain me about new sachem which i was not agreed then he gave offered me complementary policy in any1 at house but i was not agreed because all in my family was insured in any other insurance only my small brother was not. He insisted me that is complementary and you don't have to pay any single amount and said everything which we are talking is been recorded. then i thought to go for it and firoz took my brother details only (Mr. Hozefa Bakir Electricwala). Due to my busy scheduled and travelling i couldn't keep any updated or access to my account. in the year 2010 i came to know the complimentary policy was offered was payable/charged to me. i tried to contact Mr. Firoz but his number was coming switch off, then contact to your customer care to give the detail and whole lot procedure and said will get back to me but non response, frequently calling given details and came to know that i have 15 policy not 3 policy this made me more frustrated with all of this... I had visited to my nearest branch in the year 2011 which is in Bandra West their i have registered my complained and said to freeze my all the policy and disconnect with my ECS account, but the person suggest me that they could not help out with it, i have to visit to Malad the main branch but again due to my work i had to travel, while travilling i used to get call from some RBI that Tata Aig has been shut down and they had taken over and they promise that what every money i had invested will be refunded but had to pay some 30, 000/- i had to pay so within 3 months will be refund. then i refused them, many call i received. i REQUESTED TO PLEASE RESOLVE MY PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE NOW ITS HIGH TIME IF YOU WANT I HAVE PROOF OF RECEIPT WHICH MY AMOUNT USED TO GET DEDUCTED.                         Dear Sir,

                        With respect to Car Insurance Policy No .[protected] for our Ford Figo petrol car model taken on 12/6/2014 from TATA AIG insurance our claim #[protected] has been rejected by the Insurance company for engine damage .

                        We were never informed by the authorised Agent of TATA AIG Mr. Karthik, Cell # [protected] that engine is not covered under normal policy and we need to pay extra premium for additional cover . We are enclosing copies of Renewal reminder and cover note from TATA AIG where it nowhere states engine damage is not covered .

                        My vehicle is lying in Ford Dealership (Lathangi Ford) in Bannerghatta road Bangalore since 19/6/2014 and dealership has given an estimate of Rs. 2.4 lacs for engine replacement which is beyond my capacity to pay.

                        What kind of car does Ford India makes where engine gets damaged by going into a ditch on my regular route to office and TATA AIG instead of helping their customers they come out with clause to reject the claim.

                        My car is in the Ford body work shop for last one week . I am paying thousand of rupees everyday for commuting to office. The mental trauma I have gone though ... TATA AIG is answerable for all this.

                        We request your help for resolving this issue at the earliest .

                          Hi, I have a vehicle for which the car insurance is due to lapse on the 24th of this month. I currently have a insurance with Bajaj via the Honda assure program. I have been repeatedly been getting a call from TATA AIG despite me specifically telling them not to call me and requesting them to update their records that I am not interested. Further my phone number is on the Do Not Call Registry and I have not given my explicit approval to TATA AIG to call me. This is now amounting to harassment. Thanks, Shaleen Srivastava

                            This is anand kelam. I have an car insurance of policy no:[protected] registered on car name Renault scala. I registered a claim weeks ago, the insurance claim for bumper to bumper and it will cover all of it, now my car is all made up and ready but the locals here are annoying me for some cash less methods and the car center are not relesing my car due to delay of transaction from tata aig's. I took car, health, etc. Insurance from this company thinking for their good services and reliability but due to this pathetic service from side of the auto insurance I regret that I am connected to you guys. even the guys of this company are sure to whome they should talk to.. why should i even bother about the process involved in the transaction between the two parties. i cant go from door to door to get my car realised. i want you guys to immediately solve this matter and to complete the transaction..

                              Hi, I got a call from TATA AIG Motor Insurance, saying my insurance is about to expire which was right. I told them to come for inspection on Saturday, since policy was expired just day before. No body came on Saturday and i got a call again on Tuesday and told them to come to my office before 4:45 PM since i was having meeting scheduled from 5:00PM. Inspection person reached my office by 5 and telling me to come down i told him to wait for 15-20 min and i will be there, after 25 min i got a call from their office that person has left and they can not proceed with insurance. Case will be closed in their system mentioning car has dent. This is how Tata Aig is working, On first place they contacted my for Insurance Renewal and showing unnecessary Attitude.

                                My car is ready for delivery according to the company on 1.5.2014 but due to the missguidence of surveyor (Naveen chawla) i am notable to receve my car till now(15.5.2014).
                                Surveyor told me about to submitted the required docoument regarding the claim witch are submitted by us on 3.4.2014.But till now t.O of claim is not issued by surveyor or claim head ravinder saini.
                                Claim head mr. Ravinder saini demand the unneccarly personal docoument witch are not regarding the policy or for any claim.

                                  they claim its money back policy but dont give . executives dont come on line after making big promises to co operate . their agents are also biggest cheaters . iam repending why did i go for tata aig when iam alive they are not paying after my death they will not pay a penny to my family. please be carefull before you buy their product.

                                    Dear Executive, My Policy TATA AIG Policy Policy Number is [protected]. On 26th Mar 2014, I have renewed my Car Insurance before expiring the previous policy using IVR Credit Card payment option on receiving call from Tata-AIG personnel. But, so far I have not received any SMS / Email regarding the receipt of my payment as well Soft Copy of Policy documents. I have registered a complaint on Tata-AIG portal and above that I have called 6-7 times to Customer care. Every time, I get a response that our Service Team is working on it. I am not able to take out my vehicle. Hope, this complaint will resolve my issue at the earliest. Thanks Abhijeet SZ

                                      My car TATA Indica No. TN18-V0139 got accident occurred by tire bust in Chennai on 16.06.2013. I have TATA AIG insurance for motor vehicle policy no. 064001/[protected]/000000/00. And I submitted police certificate & driver statement for insurance claiming. I let my car to service to Concorde motor service, Maduravayal, Chennai. Now its crossed eight months. After this eight months, now they released 54% only. In your Chennai branch, Mr. Nirmal asked Rs.10, 000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for claiming this insurance. We didn't give. So he led this 8 months delay for claim and after that release 54% only. Already I compliant two times thro your website. Here also no response. What to do?

                                        Dear Sir/Madam I am Jai Prakash Singh and I am having a policy with u vide no.U[protected]. dated Mar.2010. I have paid the 1st premium of Rs.15000 in that month. But due to my transferred to other region i couldnt paid the next premium. Now in 2014 when i enquired about that then i got information that my policy has been auto surrendered and the remaining amount of something 2000 has been send to me. But i have not got any payment till now. And also when i have paid 15000 then how it whould be refund only 2000. Also where is the cheque of that 2000. Kindly suggest what to do?
