I wish to inform you that I have send a lot many E-mails and Reminders for the issue of renewal of my Motor insurance & other issues (mentioned below) and after a lot many reminders
Ms. Harpreet Manni has given me the response which is completely biased, unethical and not acceptable.


The details supported to the issue is mentioned below:


Sub - Delay & Negligence to Renew the Existing Policy No. - [protected] –Reg.

I wish to bring to your kind notice about the irregularities regarding the Motor Insurance policy, I am the policy holder of my vehicle WAGON - R since Dec 2009, after finishing one year of the existing policy,the representative from your customer care has called me in the month of December 2010 to renew the existing policy, as I was out of station during that period hence the TATA AIG representative has fix the time to have the inspection of my vehicle as well as renewal formalities on dated 18 Dec 2010, it was even mutually agreed by both the parties as well as I have given assurance to your customer care representative that I will reach to my station as well as I will be available to my station (i.e. KANNUR- Kerala) for one day only and will go back to Delhi for my official visits, but It is very sad to say that that no one has turned to meet me to do the renewal formalities on 18th Dec 2010 nor did a call to me, I did wait till next day morning ,again after coming back from Delhi, I have contacted the TATA AIG person to do the formalities to renew my existing policy, again after given promise to meet no one has taken care to renew it.

I did a lot much conversation for this regard, Kindly check the phone call detail from your end also.
On dated 11th January 2011 Mr Swarup Desai from Sales Dept. has called me (at 10 AM) to take the policy with some special Discount and with some special feature, I have conveyed him the message regarding the problems I have faced to renew TATA policy, He agreed for the same & promised me to resolve the issue as soon But the results were zero.

I have received a lot many calls from TATA AIG representatives regarding policy issues but after promise no one has tried to send the representatives to my end. It shows that TATA AIG is least bothered to renew their policy & don't want to be responsible for their services.

Although my last conversation happens with Mr Viki and he did some good positive move for renewal but now TATA AIG is saying that I cannot avail NCB ,Means my NCB will be is Zero , Here I would like to add one point to your end , According to my policy NCB will not affect if I am going to repair my Plastic parts, as I have claimed to repair my plastic parts only, which has been reported to you customer care on dated 01 Nov,2010, the person from Cochin Mr. Sizo has intimated me that I can go to any nearest Garage for repairing the plastic parts, I did the same I have went to my very nearest garage as well as the surveyor Mr. Prakash also came for the survey, finally my vehicle got repaired, I have paid the cash amount to the garage person and told him to send the bill to your end (as instructed by Mr Sizo) , finally after a huge follow ups I have got the Cheque of Rs 3250/- (point to be noted that I have paid Rs 3750/- for the same).

I would like to ask some query related to the above isues as follows -

1. Why not my policy has been renewed ?
2. My vehicle is on risk from last seven months, if any misshapen occurs then who will be the responsible for the same ?
3. My office is 50 Kms ( to & fro) away from my residence and I cannot use my Car because my car is not insured Hence I am force to travel by Auto/Taxi or Bus .

4. Earlier I have made a request to get the facility of free washing of my car as it was given as a facility with my policy earlier , but this couldn’t happens why?

5. Why not I should approach to consumer forum to get justice for the same?

6. Whether repair of the plastic part will affect my NCB?

TATA is always referred as prestigious organization in our country, but these move of irresponsibility will give a very bad name & confusion among customers and will lose the faith among the consumers, in this present era one person/customercan influence hundreds or thousands of people.

Therefore again I would like to request you to resolve this issues on priority basis otherwise I have to move to consumer forum to get the justice as well as compensation for these Negligence .

    Dear Sir

    My car Wagon R (DL7CH 0276) golden color, 2006 model, had an accident on 28 Nov 2010. I have Tata AIG car insurance for last 3 years. No Claim Bonus was 45%. The car had accident due to slippage towards tree sides to avoid collision with tractor coming from wrong side. There were bushes on both sides and stone on ground. The car was damaged on both sides and bottom. Doors were damaged, axle crank and lower part were damaged. I gave car to M/s Competent Ghazipur Show Room for repair. Mr Ajit from Tata AIG Noida branch inspected the vehicle. The Car was repaired on one side only. bottom part and Left side were not repaired. Approx Rs 16500 was total expenditure, out of which I paid Rs 6500/- and car was delivered.

    While driving it was found that Crank rod of back wheels was noising. Then it was replaced by me at M/s Competent and paid Rs 5270/-. The Left side door bottom panel is still damaged. Front wheel Axle has some noise on curves.
    Tata AIG is hopeless company regarding insurance claims.

    I have lost 45% NCB and the car is not repaired completely. Please do need ful.

      My biggest mistake of life begin when i trusted on TATA AIG general Motors

      Insurance company and tried to make a good business with them. I have suffered a

      lot due to their executives.
      I have just claim for 5000 Rs With the help of Ace HOnda service center. But Tata

      aig insurance approver executive said my policy is not visible online so they

      can't give claim. They ask me to pay in cash and later on they will pay me by

      cheque. My policy details are as follows:-

      make my life hell.
      If any justice is there in this world, then please somebody help me.
      Its very urgent to punish such fraud companies very bitterly otherwise they will

      keep doing such things and my kind of persons will keep crying for the justice.

      Please please please help me to get the justice.

        I have taken policy for car no HR 51 AJ 1267 under cover note 11031505,
        still i could not receieved the policy, now my car is is in TCS -maruti work shop at faridabad from last six days,
        still work could not be started, because of approval is not coming.

        after paying the amount under cheque no 412737 from state bank of patiala dated 25.05.11.
        I am suffering with a lot of problem.

        Let me know , why should i not go consumer court.

        TATA AIG is biggest fraud. They do not know even what to do while selling policy how will they respond in clearing claims.
        Here is classic example.
        I wanted to renew our car policy and their online site is down. Their check pickup is not possible. And this is the error which there sites shows.

        And when you send a mail this is what you get.

          Tata AIG sales person contacted me on phone regarding medical insurance I had enquired with policybazaar.com. Based on my requirement for a family policy, he issued a Wellsurance Family policy and a Wellsurance Executive policy for my wife. It was informed that if I was not satisfied with the policy, I could cancel them within a look-over period of 15 days with just one phone-call and Rs99 administration charge. It was not informed to me at the time that in case of a claim, only one policy of the two can be claimed. So basically one policy is useless. When I found this out after receiving the policy documents, I cancelled one of the policies. The Tata representative tried to persuade me not to, ultimately agreed. This was three months ago. I am still waiting for them to refund the premium amount to the credit card. I have called their number [protected] at least 10 times over this period, and have been allocated three reference numbers and that the issue will be resolved in 7-10 working days. Still not done.
          I don't know what will come of this case, but I will not be renewing the policy that I retained. Also, I will inform friends and relatives to steer clear of this company, because of nil worth customer service.

          sir, I bought a family health insurance policy from TATA AIG on a condition of 12months EMI basis. they agreed and i given my credit card details of my HDFCBANK CARD to them. but they are taken the full amount from my card and told me that EMI is not available on HDFC BANK .I complained so many times to their customer care. at last they agreed to cancel the policy and refunded the full amount .but they refunded only Rs.5266. Rs.99 short. so you are requested to take necessary steps to refunded the full amount. PRATHAPAN CG

          i Rashida Deesawala having wellsurance policy as i had fractured in February i claim for the same but they are so many times demanding documents and giving false promises, at the time of purchase they promised so many things but now nobody giving satisfactory answer and offering very very small amount for refund

            Hi,

            TATA AIG Health Insurance person called me and renewed my health insurance (Policy No:HC[protected]). They said the renewal documents will be sent to my address within 2 weeks time.

            But its almost more then 3 months, I didn't received any postal or courier from TATA AIG. I even wrote a complaint message from their website link, but no one responded for that.

            It looks like its a fraud company and they just want to make money and they are not doing their service to people. I need my money back and I donot want to continue their Insuarance.

            If anyone knows how to get this done then please help me.

                i have paid for my car insurance for linea emotion regd No HR 29 X 6033 for[protected] thru credit card. I was promised that policy will be delivered to me in 7 days but more than 10 days have lapsed and i have yet to get any information. My last policy is expiring on 04 Jun 2011. No intimation has come even on my email address. I thought service of TATA AIG car insurance will match their professed commitment. Please intimayte the progress and forward the policy at the earliest.

                    It is almost a week since I heard from you . Act fast and not lethargic. My premium is debited from my SBI card everymonth on 12th Inspite of repeated requests and mails IF YOU DEBIT THE CARD THIS MONTH YOU WILL BE DOING SO AT YOUR OWN RISK ONLY AND IF YOU CONTINUE TO DO THAT I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST YOUR COMPANY FOR WILFULL DISOBEYANCE ON YOUR PART
                    .Stop debiting and give send me a mail immediately that you have done so. I have been sending mails to you for the past one month and your Company is so slow in giving a reply.

                    I repeat my card should not be debited for further premiums. I have sent mails earlier on 19th April and 29th April 2011. I got replies after a gap of more than 3 days which is unusual and against the Customer relation Norms

                    Hello everyone,

                    I'm Madhu from Bangalore, last friday just i booked train ticket through my credit card. For that they activated an TATA AIG policy without taking my permission. and also they deducted from my citi bank credit card for 3 month's policy amount even without any instructions from my side.

                    Could you pls help anyone for this issue.

                        My car's insurance is due to lapse in June 2011. In the past one month, I have received 8-10 calls from Tata AIG Insurance saying they will renew my insurance. The number is from New Delhi landline number ([protected])

                        (1) My mobile number is registered in DNC and still I am getting at least one call in two days.

                        (2) In spite of declining them, they are sending me mails and making calls.

                        (3) I am being disturbed on office days, though clearly requesting them not to make any calls to me as I am not interested to buy any insurance plan from them.

                        (4) I complained the same thing to callers but no body takes care. Teh telecaller not even say they will not call again nor apologise for making unwanted calls.

                        PLEASE TAKE ACTION, AS THESE TATA_AIG are literally harassing me.

                        TATA AIG — UNWANTED PHONE CALL

                        Harassing phone calls
                        TATA AIG people keep harassing you on the phone to take more policies. Which makes one ban taking any policies from TATA AIG in the future no mater how good it MAYBE!!. I suggest Don't ever buy a policy from them as you will be harassed by their phone calls every time.PHONE NUMBER ARE[protected],66455000,120,4764600,

                          I Ramesh H.Pawar having Maha Life Gold policy bearing No.C23351863 dtd.9-9-2010 which was received on[protected] for which have paid the premium of Rs.5000/- where as the receipt is only Rs.4954/- and also in the Policy records so many wrong information was filled by Broker i.e. INDIA INFOLINE INSURANCE BROKERS LTD. BELGAUM. Hence had applied for cancellation of Policy within 15 days from the date of receipt of policy i.e. on[protected] and petition send to the company Customer Service Centre at Malad(e) Mumbai with a copy to Broker. Further again I have given One peititon to Broker on [protected] and finally I have submitted One more peitition to Company Customer Service Centre at Malad(e) Mumbai on[protected] with a copy to Bangalore Customer Service centre and Insurance Ombudsman Hyderabad. But till today nobody responded to my petition. Therefore, the Broker has cheated me and hence take action against him and arrange to cancell my policy contract which was applied within 15days from the date of receipt.                             i took pol noc[protected] and pol no-c[protected] from tata aig agent. iused to pay the i used to pay primum on time but the agent has not paid it on time. when ever i came to jamshedpur i asked the office about the policies but now office people are not giving information and are saying that i will not get a single rupee for my policies, what to do now?

                                My name is Rashid and I purchase car policy from TATA AIG over telephonic on 31/12/2010 and my previous policy end date was 13/01/2011 my policy no.[protected] and I gave him cheque dated 06/01/2011 cheque no. 758320 after that I received policy cancelation letter from TATA AIG on 19/02/2011, my policy canceled due to cheque could not be honor and cheque return by bank citing the reason post dated cheque. After received letter I visited in New Friends colony, Delhi branch I saw this letter to Miss Sareeka help desk executive and she told me she will find fault and tell that TATA AIG agent did mistake so she told me we will send your cheque again to your bank and your policy will be re-instead. On April 6th cheque cleared from my bank but TATA AIG did not activated my policy whenever I talk to customer care they always said I logged your complaint and your policy will be activate but till now there is no result I not used my car because I don’t have car insurance I received hard copy of policy but they are waste. Please do needful otherwise I will file case in consumer court

                                    Hi Consumer Forum,

                                    This regard to TATA AIG life insurance policy, I have got a call from Customer care from Mumbai regarding some policy. They know all the details about my credit card and started explaining about the policy. I verbally spoken them i want document then only i can accept your policy i agreed on that and promised me that i will get my details with in 7 day and after that a can reject it also. After 4 month of time i have not received any policy related document from TATA AIG and the deducted amount of 6000 from my credit card. I am trying to reach them by customer care toll free number, after a long time somehow i got my policy number is "OOHCP[protected]******.But still the document have not provided to me.

                                    I have already registered a complaint in ministry of finance of India Gov and looking forward to get some information through right to information act for both BANK and TATA AIG.

                                    Hopping TATA AIG and Bank will take it so seriously and will give back my money to me and requesting them to please stop it so in future no one can loss his temperament on them.

                                      I GOT A CALL FROM MUMBAI FOR THE RENEWAL ,AS I HAD REQUESTED FOR THE SAME,

                                      MY POLICY WAS TO EXPIRE ON 1/04/2011.
                                      I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT ON 28/03/2011
                                      I WAS TOLD I WILL BE GETTING:
                                      1)ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR PAYMENT MADE
                                      2)ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR POLICY RENEWAL
                                      WITH IN 2DAYS i.e.(30/03/2011).
                                      NOTE:IS IT NOT THE COMPANY`S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ME THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

                                      PAYMENT MADE,SO HE HAS NO IDEA WHETHER THE POLICY IS RENEWED /NOT?
                                      WORSER HE REQUESTS ME TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 48 HOURS ONLY TO KNOW
                                      WHETHER THE POLICY IS RENEWED /NOT?
                                      THE LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY,NEGLIGENCE,NOT HOLDING ITS PROMISES HAS AFFECTED ME A LOT AS I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO DRIVE MY CAR LEGALLY WITH OUT HOLDING A VALID INSURANCE.I WAS DISTURBED A LOT AFTER HEARING FROM THEM THAT THERE WAS NO UPDATE OF THE PAYMENT MADE .

                                        dear sir/ mam ,
                                        in jan 2011 i took general insurance policy from tata aig online through telephonic conversation and transactions from credit card .i was being told by their staff that i will be recieving policy between 7 working days , i waited for 15 days but no policy came , inspite of many calls to tata aig customer care service always i was being given lies like we have despatched policy in jan ,than excuses like seven working days you will recieve policy .my three installment s have been deducted from my bank to tata aig even till now i havnt recieved any policy papers n m not even aware about wt the policy details .i have the sataement of transactions being done to tata aig.,even when i told their customer care to cancel my policy and refund my monay they again started making excuses.

                                        please help me i need that a strict action should be taken against them and my money to be refund and
