AS ABOVE SIR POLICY NO.1 WHEN I PURCHASE BY PHONE ON MY SBI CARD WITH CONFORMATION THAT IT WILL BE CONVERT IN EMI OPTION. BUT IT NOT CONVERTED WHEN POLICY RECEIVED AN CREDIT CARD A/C DEBITED FULL AMOUNT.

SECONDLY WHEN I COMPLAINT THEN ON YOUR SIDE THEY CANCELLED MY FIRST POLICY AND GIVE A NEW FRESH POLICY NO.2 ON NOVEMBER BY MY ICICI CREDIT CARD A/C DEBITED FOR EMI OPTION. AND MY POLICY IS RUNNING FROM 2 MONTH

SUDDENLY A POLICY NO.3 AS RECEIVED ON SATURDAY BY BLUEDART COURIER WITHOUT ANY REQUEST/COMPLAINT/PURCHASE. PLEASE LOOK IN THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY WHAT IS GOING ON OR ANY ONE MISUSE OF MY NAME/CARD/DETAIL IN YOUR DEPARTMENT.

SO, SIR PLEASE BEFORE I F.I.R IN MY NEAREST POLICE STATION PLEASE GIVE ME IN WRITTEN WHAT IS HAPPENING.

Fully agree with this complaint. I had a same kind of problem with TATA AIG. But They never bothered to redress the customer complaints. The IRDA should regulate tele-marketing of Insurance products, otherwise such tele-marketing CHEATING will continue.

I totally agreed there are very serious irregularities in TATA AIG. I request to IRDA to take necessary action againt these cheatings and frauds.

Agent of TATA Aig are selling corporate polices to individual persons because they get high commission on these policies.

Customer care facilities are too bad in TATA Aig. I have mailed number of time to their [protected]@tata-aig.com. But they never sent any reply on mails.

This a request to people please take care before taking a policy especially from TATA Aig.

Dear Sir/Madam

In year 2006 a policy number U[protected] has been sold to me by one of your agent. The premium for the policy was Rs. 15, 000.00 per year.
In year 2007 the same agent described some benefit of top of the above policy. As per the plan that he described to me I paid another premium of Rs. 20, 000.00 against a top up amount of above policy. He also mentioned that though this is a top up amount but there will be a different Reference Number for this transaction i.e. U[protected] for further queries. In year 2008 I again paid the both premium i.e. 15, 000.00 (Original premium for policy U[protected] and top up amount Rs. 20, 000.00 for the same policy.
In year 2009 my locking period of policy number U[protected] has been completed and I visited your Pitampura Branch in month of February for withdrawal of Policy Maturity Amount. There I came to know that I have been issued two different policies and the Reference Number U[protected] is not a top-up but a separately new policy which is now lapsed.
This was shocking to me. On the one hand NAV value of policy number U[protected] was only 26, 239.15 against my investment of Rs. 85, 000.00 in three years.
Your branch person also confirmed the following points:
1. The status of New Policy No. U[protected] is lapsed.
2. Your Agent, who sold these policies to me, has been terminated by the Company and he is no more with company.
3. Your Agent had sold me the above said policies as Corporate Policies whereas I had told him that I am salaried individual.
4. Your Agent has not disclosed that there will be 40% deduction in first year’s from Premium Amount as Administration fee, etc. and 25% deduction in second year.
5. The Agent had not sent me any Policy document of New Policy U[protected]. He falsely manipulated my mailing address in your records due to which my new policy documents returned back to the company and I received the New Policy’s (i.e. U[protected] Documents after 2 years which is illegal as per Insurance Rules.
I want the following actions should be taken in the above matter: -
1. I paid Rs. 20, 000/- in the year 2007 as Top-up Amount against my 1st Policy No. U[protected] whereas your agent has deposited this amount in your company for New Policy No.U[protected] which is now lapsed instead of Top-up for my 1st existing policy. I want this amount should be deposited as top-up amount against my 1st Policy No. U[protected] which is now matured and pay the maturity amount accordingly.
2. A legal action must be taken against your Agent who did this fraud to me.
I request to your goodself to take appropriate action in this matter on priority basis otherwise I will be left with no option but to approach the court of law.

    The above mention policy expired on 22/12/2009. We had not received any intimation notice and further when we enquire same in TATA AIG NAshik office, it was informed that you had been denied the policy. After hearing this we immediately wrote the complaint email to Tata Aig insurance company.

    2) The reason ,why the policy is declined is not informed.
    3) In convenience of the customer

    This matter we will surely try to get to consumer court further.

      I had a pension plan policy of TATA AIG named NIRVANA bearing policy no C[protected]. I surrendered this policy at the end of year 2008. I got very less surrender value i.e. Rs.16615.87 against my inveted money of Rs. 50,000 till the day of surrendering.
      I want to know why I was paid very less money ? Is there possiblity of getting more money otherwise I suffered a great loss. I had to surrender the policy under circumtances that I have to get my mother treated for her heart at Vallore, Chennai. Pls. enquire into the matter.

        Hi,

        This is to bring to your notice that I had two policies with TATA-AIG (details below) until last year. Since I didnot get satisfactory answers to my concerns, I decided to opt out of the policies.
        a. C[protected]Policy Premium Amt - 12351)
        b. C[protected]Policy Premium Amt - 10022)

        Please help me get my investment repaid as appropriate. I am sick of calling the TOLL Free number. As soon as I mention to them I want my money back, they drop the call. It has happened several times. Another way of handling the call is that they say "our tools are down, I will arrange a call back for you" which never happened all this while.

        In case you are replying on mail; do a reply to all. You can also call me on my cell phone [protected] for discussions, if any.

        The above is the mail I wrote to TATA-AIG on 31st Oct and haven't heard from them till date. I am really frustrated. My two policies quoted above are both traditional plans and am sure they should not be depreciating the way the ULIP plan money depreciates as it is market based. However, when i checked with TATA team they say u have a total deposit of more than 66K but now ur take home is less than 22K.

        Please help me get my investment back.

          I took an insurance from Tata AIG GEN Insurance , in which my house , theft and electronic items were covered , My microwave was also covered , I have several insurance from several companies but never filed any claim because never needed it , recently My microwave got dismantled by some electric short circuit and as it was covered under their insurance , I got it repaired and applied for claim , See what they say after having a talk with the call center and informing them :

          the damage to the Microwave occurred on 05.12.09 and you have also got the same repaired from the repairer on 08/12/09.Kindly note that the claim has been reported to us on 16.12.09 i.e. after a gap of 11 days from the occurrence of the damage & 8 days after getting the same repaired. Thus we find that the Policy condition-3 has not been observed & fulfilled which is stated as under.


          And their condition was , I had to inform them via registered post within 7 days , the call center guy never told me this clause and I think no body ever in India or world reads all the clauses before taking insurance.

          the call center guy filed my claim and told me to send documents , if they knew its more than seven days why did they asked for documents and I put in all the labor finding original bills couriering them documents and after that they sent me this crap email.

          Beware guys " DO NOT TAKE TATA AIG GEN Insurance " , You will never be able to fill their clauses when any accident occurs , this is bull .

          Its time to awake dont waste your hard earned money like this.

            This is to inform u that i have taken the policy No.SHC[protected], sicknees hospital plan on 31st Oct. and i have received proposer detail on 5th nov., as per my talk with the concerned people and had a detailed talked with your bombay office infact i told him to be detected money from the hdfc bank a/c on the EMI basis but unfortunately didn't and u guys debited the money of Rs.12868 on 31st oct. Again i requested to charge this to my citi bank on the EMI basis and your company has agreed and debited the same to my citibank on the EMI basis for 12 months and 1st EMI recovered from the bank and still my rest of the balance amount from HDFC bank has not come. Pl. look in to the matter and revert me asap.

              We have a Hyundai i10 Car, which we purchased in July 2008 and took an insurance from IFFCOTOKIO. In the month of April 2009, we received a call from TATA AIG, saying that TATA AIG and Hyundai have got a special tie up under which if we renew our Car's policy (was due for renewal in July 2009) with TATA AIG then we will get 5 Service vouchers for our car, which can be redeemed at any Hyundai Service Centres as per service schedule and a vaccum cleaner for the car plus discounted premium.

              The offer looked very attractive and we paid for the policy, which was delivered in April to be effective from July. We did get the discounted premium, however, despite several reminders we never got the service coupons and Vaccum Cleaner as per the commitment.

              Whenever we call the numbers given they say they will deliver the vaccum cleaner and service coupons, with in 2 weeks but we never get it. They have delivered me some discount vouchers for accessories, which by face of it looks general discount coupons but none of them is valid for Hyundai Service Centres.

              I have contacted them many times even I have written to their customer care department, but they say I need to talk to their marketing departmenr only, customer care can not do anything.

              We request you to kindly look in to it and provide me a response as soon as possible,

              TataAig Life Insurance — Cheating Customers With False Offer & False Commitment

              Hi,

              My husband bought a TataAig ULIP Invest Assure Optima on 18th May 2009 for me. We got a call from Unity Insight Corporation to attend a presentation at Bangalore Malleshwaram office.

              We attended the presentation. We were asked that a free accidental policy of 50K for 15 years term will be offered to me with out any charges / premium along with above product (Invest Assure Optima).

              We purchased this policy (Invest Assure Optima) for me.
              This policy (Invest Assure Optima) is issued & policy document also arrived to my address with in a month time.

              But an offered (additional) accidental policy is not yet issued. My husband is calling every day to a personnel o[censored]NITY INSIGHT CORPORATION. He is calling this mobile number [protected]. This number belongs to Kabir.

              Kabir has explained us the policy plan and also offered an free additional accidental policy of 50K for 15 years term with out any premium.

              After calling couple of times, Kabir assured us that we will be provided with policy id (POID) with in 24 hrs but no response seen after that call. We are calling him every day but no response seen from his side. Now he stopped receiving our calls & not picking up the phone.

              These are the business tactics to attract people with false offer. Once you handover your hard earned money to them then they will hide their face & will never pick up your call. There should be some law to deal with this kind of cheap people who cheat customers for the sack of their business.

              I want to convey that either Tata Aig Group / Unity Insight Corporation made a false commitment to me about free accidental policy and cheated me to sell their product.

              Be aware of this insurance company. I would suggest old is gold & Life Insurance Corporation is still the best.

              My name is Sam, i got a call from Banglore and saying that Rs 7500/ is pending and the agent Mrs.Bright didnt remitt the amount after Sept, so i lost the credibility to my agent, he is my cousin also.But i had remitted the entire payment till December.i called the same numer again and again but the phone is not picking, as a company like AIG i am not expecting this type of behavior from your executives and i need a quick response from your part about this issue, otherwise i have to rethink over it

              sir i got a call from delhi (swati singh) that there is a policy which is as mention below
              (1)-first of all i have to pay 30000 every year for five years and every year i ll get a commission bonus of 6000 and if i ll take two policy then
              this bonus will increase and the amount will be 7500 so i have taken a policy on my wife's name.
              (2)-if i ll complete this premium for 5 years then i ll get 234600 back at end of 5 years
              (3)-if i ll not collect all money and want to deposit 30000 the every year i ll get a 7500 as a commission bonus.
              (4)with that i ll get a life insurance of rs 300000 and if there will b a accidence death then they will pay a 600000
              but sir there is nothing like that in our policy document so we got a doubt and we have inquired in tata-aig center in surat, but they told there is no policy like that in our company and some how we have cancel our policy.now we want to complain u abt this so that they should get some punishment .sir they r really fraud n want to cheat this innocent people who does not understand English so sir please take some action against this nonsense people try try them to stop all this fraud thing.

                I have been auto renewned by the TATA AIG INSURANCE POLICY by Policy # MRP[protected]
                Refer to the above policy number, I have been getting debit entry in HSBC Credit Card statement on monthly basis for Rs.761.17
                If we taking the above monthly amount Rs.761.17, the yearly premium should be Rs.9134 for the same I have received the policy document only for Rs.6105/-(Rupees six thousand one hundred & five only)
                In this transaction TATA AIG crooked the service tax to CENTRAL GOVT as well cheated the customer (myself) by charging more on HSBC Card and issuing less premium certificate
                Also while the renewal of this policy they committed so many offers instead i get zero offer and got penalized.
                This has been escalated to them in Jan'09 and send mail in FEB'09 and there is no reversal on charges whereas the pending amount has been debited from my HSBC Credit account in a single strech to save guard their claim
                Without giving any notice/intimation to cutsomer how dar this can happen with the support of HSBC.
                Due to this unethical debit, i have been charged with financial charge of Rs.4973/-
                Request your earlier action in this regard and enable to get the all the refund
                I hereby request everyone to ensure the debit happen in actual not on cheating basis.

As per training attendance sheet, you have attended only two days (16 hrs) training program out of a required criteria of 50 training hrs due to which you were not eligible to sit for the examination.

                      I am MAHESH BALASAHEB BIRARIS takeing policy from tata aig health policy before 3 month .Ur exucative came in company were i am working he fill up my from & i give all document which necessary for that policy he told me that i give ur document come after 7 days & i give u sleep for this next day. i give 2642 rs foe one year policy.he didn`t came & my document also not came still. i call that every day he also told me every day that ur work is going on i give u sleep tomorrow & document 7 days .its very wrong from u so do something that people take policy from ur company.today i called that person he told me same.now i want to cancled my policy i want my money as soon as possible.400 rs for that person which i call him,i mention that person no.he was workin in thane,his no is -[protected],
                      ur company wrong with poor people,i[censored] dont take any action against my policy then i go to " CONSUMER COURT" for that so tell me @ that .i want to canclled my policy.You used my money for 3 month also i expend 400 rs for calling you, its very wrong .

                      so please give me my money as soon as possible told that gye dont beheve like this to poor people,hopes you take right desigion.

                        i was cancelled my helth care policy on dated 21/10/2009.
                        the company executive told me all the policy amount will refund with in 7-10 days,
                        till i faced no amount refund from the company..... why ...? i dont know
                        this cause, i have to paid extra interest rate to HDFC bank, from which i was paid policy
                        amount from HDFC credit card,
                        i had called to customer care for same company about the same enqury but they also told me
                        the u have to wait more days

                        dear sir,
                        I and my family applyied tata aig general insurance company ltd.Master policy number-[protected] and policy client number itig[protected]. I am not satisfied with the policy,so within 14days time i had emailed the company to cancel the policy. I had posted policy schedule on 27/11/10.But the company has debited rs 951.33 ( india ideas ) from my credit card. Again on 10/02/2011 i had email the company.On the same day i received email from the above company .that your request concerning the refund amount has been forwarded to the complaint department for further investigation.please allow us with some time to provide you with a resolution towards the same. till now the company has not credited the amount in my credit card ac.

                        TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. — Mis selling of Car Insurance Policy

                        I have bought one policy No [protected] form TATA AIG on 19.02.2011.

                        There agent has committed IDV Value of my car Rs 250000 and i have recived soft copy of policy by the value of Rs 240000 only.

                        After this policy login till date i have not received hard copy of my policy document, he has sent scan copy on my mail id only.

                        He has committed and given writing to me three gifts one is vaccume cleaner, second is service coupouns and third is car perfume and till date i have not rececived any of them after giving many a time details that he has sent all the things to my address. Now even he is not receiving my phone calls.

                        After so many reminders on mail and on phone to TATA AIG till date they are not able to deliver my original documents on my address and have not responded for other commitments aslo.

                        Since last 40 days i am following to TATA AIG which gives me lot of tension as original documents of insurance are very important for using the vehicle on road.

                        You are requested to address this problem on priority basis.

                        TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. — Non supply of gift as stated at the time of selling policy

                        I have received a phone call from Ms Soniya/ Seema bearing telephone number [protected] for renewal of insurance policy of my car. They stated that they will give a Reebook watch worth Rs. 2999 as a gift along with Tata AIG policy after paying Rs. 7239 only. I find this deal good and agreed, and then they sent their agent Mr. Vijay for meting me personally and collecting payment. I did payment by cheque, he assured me that he will hand over the watch and policy to me personally before clearance of the cheque. But they sent me policy No.[protected] dt. 28.06.11 through e-mail when I contact then several time on phone. My complaint is that they did not give me the gift (Reebook Watch Rs. 2999/-) as they stated till date.

                          i have already paid cheque & withdrawn from my account within 03 days.its already more than03 weeks but still no documents received from their side.when documents reqd. to them, they call me more than 10 times aday but after that no call.i am surprising the brand TATA , i believe. but, when i consider this matter , i cant believe this is TATA, a well known & faithful brand. I will not suggest anyone to take policy from them , as i am treated. If ,within this period , something wrong happen to me, whom i assure that i have opened a health policy in TATA AIG.

                            Myself Lakhan Singh Chauhan taken insurance cover for my Vechile Waganor No. DL 9CQ 1179 , Since last three consetive year and current finanial years and with Renewal cover note WM No. 60248826 DT. 25/03/09. We paid Rs.5461.00 by cheque No.430267 Dt. 14/05/09.

                            The cover note shows the date of commencement of insurance 00 hrs 15//05/09 to 14/05/10.

                            Same is confirmed by your renewal endorsement letter Policy no. [protected].

                            But my policy coverted to short term policy of six month as I had a claim in the previous year as no claim bonous is not been granted to me.

                              when the agent came to for the first time...he assured me to give a return of around 15 to 20% on the money i invest....I invested till now Rs.100000 and now my fund value is only Rs.69000...now I want to cancell my policy but they say no as there is 3 yrs of locking period...and U will have to pay an another premium of Rs.50000..no other wayout...mere paisa to doob gaya....ye lockin period ke bare mein mujhe agent ne bataya bhi nahin...and now that agent has quit the company,,,where should I go???

                                i had taken this maha life gold policy in may 2009 and till date i have no idea where i have invested my money ,i had made tha payment through cheque ,whenever i call mr. arun chaudhary ( area manager ) he forwards me some other number n the story continues like this from past 5 months . i am so much disappointed by the behavior of the area manager of this company . i swear to god i'll never come this place neither i am gonna refer it to someone if the story continues like this .

                                  i have a phone call from the noida office of tata aig office. i agree with all terms and i give a check to their executive in favour of tata aig. after 10 days i receive a letter from tata aig. but 1 month are passed but i can not receive any policy or any other document. and your executive can not collect any photo or any other paper. phone no. of person contact me is [protected]. so please send me the process of my policy i do not have any policy no. till date.

                                    Sub: Non-cancellation of Health insurance Policy in free look from Tata - AIG


                                    I am a customer of HSBC credit card wide card No: [protected], in which HSBC contacted me and they have given me a health insurance policy wide policy No: FSP[protected] with a EMI of Rs.705.They said that in the first month only Rs.10 will be charged and from the second month on wards the premium will be charged at Rs.705. I have confirmed with the executive that I will retain the policy if I like the policy. I received the policy pack on 20th September 2008, As I did not like the policy benefits I walked into Tata AIG general insurance office located in begumpet above life style on 12th October 2008 for cancellation, the customer support executive said that they don’t know the details of the policy and asked me to call to the call center or to give an SMS to 58888. I have given an SMS to 58888 on 12th October 2008 on and also kept a mail to [protected]@tata-aig.com on 14th October 2008 to cancel the policy with immediate effect. They responded after a week saying that they will issue one more policy to me in replacement to the existing policy. I said that I am not interested in continuing the policy, and also to cancel the existing policy as the policy was in free look period. Later once I received the credit card statement dated 15th October 2008 I am surprised to see they have swiped Rs.10 and Rs.705 two times in the credit card statement. Even after saying them to stop swiping the premium and close the policy they did not stop and swiped the premium of Rs.705 for the months of October (twice), November, December, January, February - 2009. The total excess amount they swiped after asking Tata AIG people to cancel the policy is amounting to Rs.4935. Now HSBC people are calling me and asking me for settlement or payment. As per my utilization in the month of October 2008 I have paid Rs.1696 on 15th Oct 2008 thru visa money transfer & Rs.2600 in the month of November, on 15th November 2008. I have excluded the amount which is swiped my Tata Aig. Now HSBC persons are contacting me to pay their credit card dues and they have made this due amount with interests for Rs.9860.00. As I don’t want to make my credit history bad I have to pay this amount.

                                    I request u to consider my problem and take necessary steps to get the problem resolved be making Tata Aig refund my premiums they have swiped and the interest amount which I am paying.

                                    HSBC Credit Card & TATA AIG — Cheating customers by HSBC Credit Card and TATA AIG

                                    Hi

                                    I'm almost One Year Old Customer of HSBC Credit Card, One Day (5 months ago) I got a call and explained a Accidental Policy plan about TATA AIG Accidental Insurance linked with HSBC Credit Card and informed per month only Rs.10/- (per person) and when I accepted and after one month I received my policy and said month charges of Rs.1300/- + for three members. Immediately I felt this is not so good investing huge over accidental policy and I posted my request over online by login my credit card online accout, to stop paying for the TATA AIG with my Credit Card. But still now my requested is not processed and recently ones again after 5 months again I posted to stop paying for TATA AIG Policy. Still no response, One more intresting in Online Account we can not see our posted queries. It will show only the message, 'Sucessfully request posted'. So HSBC cheating the customers hiding the queries posted through online account. HSBC will not keep any evidance to the customers if you posted your request through Online Account, Phone, or Paper Complaint. So dont take HSBC Credit Card Offers.

                                    I my case, wehn i tried to cancel the TATA AIG policy, they said system is not working.

                                    Then they assured me thay my policy is cancelled. But the amountstill got deducted from my account HSBC credite card automatically.

                                    On talking to cutomer service, they refused to refund and my one month premium was gone, all waste.

                                    This is guys are not be be believed in any sense.

                                    Government banks might be slow, but they are honest.

                                      For my policy no: BTHC[protected]. I have been making multiple calls and emails to get a premium receipt and I have not yet been successful. I doubt if TATA AIG is fooling me and people like me in saying this policy has TAX benefits and actually NOT. My kindest request to everyone is NEVER EVER GO FOR TATA AIG POLICIES. If it is so difficult to get a receipt, I am just worried how difficult it would be to get a claim reimbursed. I AM SURE TO GET A CLAIM REIMBURSED IT WOULD TAKE MY LIFETIME.

                                        I took a travel insurance policy number FE861869 on 4th Sept 2009 for my trip to Canada which was for 13 days from 14 Sept 2009 to 26 Sept 2009.
                                        This was taken through Birla Insurance Advisory & Broking Services Lts, New Delhi

                                        Due to unavoidable circumstances my journey was cancelled and the same was informed to the agency.
                                        Thereafter I was told to send the copies of my passport. I sent copies of the first two and last two pages of my passport as well as the one on which the Canada Visa had been stamped.

                                        I have not yet received the refund and am now being told to submit copies of all the pages of my passport including the blank ones.

                                        This is highly objectionable as it breaches my privacy. The said policy has no relevance with my other travels nor with the blank pages. I have been travelling frequently and taking policies from various companies. This is the first time that such a thing is being asked for.

                                        It is not expected from a company of Tata's stature to resort to such tricks to delay refund.

                                        We had a horrible experience with TATA AIG TRAVEL GUARD's insurance on a medical evacuation.
                                        One of my parents had to to be taken to a medical emergency in an airport while in transit. We contacted
                                        the TATA AIG immediately after knowing about it.. The only releif we got was that they gave us a CLAIM NUMBER soon enough.

                                        After 3 days, they required us to submit the passport details, insurance details, medical records and started talking to the emergency doctor. They took 1 week to talk to their claims department. We do not the result of claims department investigation.
                                        After this, we have not received any assistance from AIG. We do not know whether they will pay the hospital for the bills to get his discharged from the hospital. The whole state is in a limbo even after 17 days even though the doctor is ready to discharge if the bills are taken care of.

                                        The insurance company has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for things to happen. We are contacting the Indian Embassy and the insurance, without much help or direction on how to resolve this crisis.


                                        PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU THINK YOUR INSURANCE WILL ACT/COVER ON AN MEDICAL EMERGENCY DURING TRAVEL BY TATA AIG.

                                        TATA AIG TRAVEL GUARD's proclaims Round the Clock Assistance Promise for medical evacuation on their website:

                                        "Medical Evacuation: When, in the opinion of the Assistance Company's medical panel, it is judged medically appropriate to move You to another location for treatment or return You to India, the Assistance Company will arrange the evacuation, utilizing the means best suited to do so, based on the medical evaluation of the seriousness of Your condition, and these means may include air ambulance, surface ambulance, regular airplane, railroad or other appropriate means. All decisions as to the means of transportation and final destination will be made by the Assistance Company..
