    While buying tata aig's insurance, i was provided with such auspicious benefits by their agent, one of which was hassle free claim policy. I bet, this was my first claim settlement with tata aig & the word "free" from hassle free claims seems missing.

    It was a sad saturday (09th june'18) for me when a fellow driving a sugarcane vehicle (Wrong side) bumped into my vehicle head on.. My bumper got damaged, fender side / bonnet got slight bends & front glass too broke due to this impact when his worthless fancy vehicle accessories fell over my windshield.. With god grace, there was no damage caused to any human life!

    Having said above, i had a relief of having my vehicle (Hyundai elite i20) insured from tata aig with zero dep policy. However, i did not knew that it will be a real pain in getting this claim settled from tata aig.

    Vehicle was sent to authorized hyundai service center the very next day, ie, on 10th june'18 for getting it repaired under my insurance policy. All the documentation work was provided by me on the same day & i was informed on surveyor's visit which would take place the next day. Surveyor did his visit & inspected the vehicle in my absence since i was in my office & cannot afford to take leaves for such instance. After the survey was conducted, i was informed by the workshop team that surveyor has not passed complete claim & is allowing only for the replacement of front window glass. I do not understand, when a vehicle collided head on & first impact was caused on front bumpers, how can the surveyor reject my claims for repair of bumper, fender & bonnet alignment? Is this damage not covered under my zero dep policy!!

    I requested the workshop manager to speak with the surveyor once again as i need to get the damages repaired completely! But all in vain, another day wasted!

    Tata aig's surveyor did not even take the pain to call customer (Me) once to detail his survey so i decided to take the contact details of surveyor from workshop & call myself.

    When i spoke to your surveyor, the blunt reply was, "sir, i have already passed your claim but only for front glass since your bumper had scratches from previous small impacts due to which he cannot approve bumper claim" this statement made me re-think twice then what is the zero dep policy all about & am i a victim of mis-selling? Tata aig cares for scratches but ignores the fact that vehicle's bumper has almost detached from the body, has bends & hairline cracks due to this impact... On cross questioning for almost 15 mins, i was offered with another solution by the surveyor, ie, to open another claim file for which i have to pay file charges twice now & also will not get any other zero dep insurance till the expiry of my policy (Well played trump card to bag more money from a customer's pocket & abiding from future claims). By this way, i will get my bumper & other works also claimed, how idiotic is that?

    My car is sitting idle at workshop from past 4 days despite the fact that this car is very much needed at home for daily operations. But the claim procedures at tata aig is ensuring that the car sits there comfortably for another 5-6 days & their customers get harassed by such surveyor quoting unjustifiable reasons & rejecting the claims.

    I even took the case to their higher management over phone and emails but nothing proved to be fruitful. They intend not to release claims as what i can sense from their attitude. I also warned them on escalating this case to irdai but they seem least cared. Below are some of the details of the claim which i can share here:

      Our lenova car insurance premium is due on 29th june. We have been receiving nearly 10 or more calls from various agents for last one month.
      It is becoming sickening. As they keep disturbing us all the time. Please record all calls to see how the customer is being troubled.
      Our response is not taken seriously despite giving all verification details.

        Dear sir
        Please refer my policy no.[protected], i have completed inspection of car tn73l0312 for insurance renewal on 18.05.18, i have paid rs.6770 through hdfc bank credit card on 21.05.18 time: 14:02:22. Till now i have not received insurance certificate. I have tried and contact toll free helpline[protected] so many times for the status of the certificate, till now not received.
        Please inform any problem to me or return my money. But please don't make quite for 1 week.in previous i had taken renewal with in hour in tata aig, but this is too late,
        Kindly look in to the matter and arrange to give insurance certificate today itself.

          My total coverage in the policy have been denied by saying that the treatment which performed for the patient was because of her being gastric (Gas problem). But this problem was only additional problem due to the heavy medicines but the real problem which the patient was facing was diabetes and stone in her stomach but the company is denying for reimbursement of the of the hospital expenses. Initially i have submitted all the documents and got rejected because of the same reason.

            We have axis bank credit card in that u have charged rs. 6750 somethng for the insurance purpose on nov 2017 we are not in need of that so i called the customer care & askd abt it they also cancelled & refunded the amnt back but again in this year they have charged the same amount again i called to the customer care they are telling they have already cancelled bt in the axis bank credit card statement its showing the deducted amnt wht the hell you people are doing just cancell it or else call me to this [protected] its not a small amnt to pay ok

              Dear sir
              I have a bike insurance policy of tata aig.
              Vehicle no ap05ej1605. I have met an accident on bike. Vehicle work done at feb 2nd 2018 i paid the full amount to the showroom. On march 2nd week i submitted bills and bank account details to tata aig office. Till date they are not intimating any details. On 21st april they sead that documents are missing. Daily two times i'm calling to mr. Uday. The person who is handling my case is mr sudhakar. He is not picking my phone and responding any time. So please provide my claim amount... I am very upset. I never saw this type of insurance company. It's worst experience with your company.
              So plz take it seriously and find the solution.
              I will be thankful to you.

                I have made payment as above for my car no up14bf3399 ag gp 21528840. The hard copy and the soft copy of the policy has not been received despite many reminders. The agent is fooling me and misbehaving using abusive language. The amt has been debited to my account. Pl check whether this amt is recd ag my vehicle or not. Pl issue the hard copy and soft copy on mail and talke necessary action against him for negligience and misrepresentation.

                  This is to bring to your kind notice that i have given my bike honda shine disc which is dl-11-sh-4715 for accident claim on honda work shop budh vihar delhi against the policy no.[protected] on 10/03/2018 then i come to know that the policy has been cancelled due to the check bounced issued by honda show room budh vihar. But when i contact to the show room they said that cheque no.6693 of amount rs 9251 has been cleared from the account on 01/02/2017 via cms deposit slip no. [protected].

                    My claim registered no. Is [protected]a and my policy no is kb241916. I went to australia on holiday and there my kidney failed suddenly and i was admitted in icu from 10 january to 17 january. I have submitted all the bills thru email and also thru courier but they went on harassing me. They told me to fill up kyc form which also i did. They also told me to submit last 4 yrs medical report which also i had sent thru courier. They asked me to send cancelled cheque, photo, pancard copy and passport copy that also i did still they put blame on me that i have signed the documents and went on making bahanas. I also sent them discharge letter that also they told me to resent. How many times i have sent the invoices thru emails thru courier but still they said it is not correct. I m shocked tata aig is behaving in this manner and spooling their name. They don’t even know different countries have different method of hospital bills. I also told them if the amount is beyond limit u can give as per your limits but sorry to say the staff is not educated.

                      I request you that i have tata aig well insurance executive fix benefit policy which policy is continue 4-5 years, i was admitted chief complaint of acute bronchitis with lower respiratory tract infection with gram negative infection with persistent high t. L. C with pyrexia in asian hospital faridabad, after discharge the hospital i submitted all hospital documents to insurance company t. P. A e-meditek gurgoan dated 01/02/2018 tpa e-meditek raised first quiery dated 05/02/2018 which reply i sent dated 12/02/2018 and tpa received quiery reply dated 14/02/2018 after received quiery tpa e-meditek again raised second time quiery dated 16/02/2018 which reply i sent dated 17/02/1018 and tpa received it 19/02/2018 an after this tpa investigator visited my home and hospital regarding investigation dated 20/02/2018 after ten day's tpa again same quiery raised dated 01/03/2018 which reply i had already sent dated 12/02/2018 but again i sent quiery reply via email to tpa email i'd claim. [protected]@emeditek.com dated 02/03/1018 and after this i sent written mail regarging delay of claim to tata aig grievance mail id datef 01/03/2018 after this i have received many reply many times which they indicate me that we will response you earliest regarding my complaint but till date my claim not settled by tata aig insurance company nearly one month have been completed of given complain with insurance company (Tata aig), but my claim not settled yet.
                      So i request you that please pl give instruction to insurance company (Tata aig) that my claim settle as soon as possible

                        I bought car and it’s got accidentally in flood got steering rack motor spoiled.
                        TATA aig insurance fully dep cover ther but they didn’t support me. I paid all from my pocket almost 3 lakhs.

                        I’m very happy and cool going guy . One fine day one guy came from TATA aig Office to my home and he said sir ur car complete care our TATA will look after .. just one phone call sir. All problems resolved but nobody came. I got bitter experience ang huge loss because of TATA.

                            Maine 03/01/2018 को yh car honda showroom me saleout kar di h. Or new car le li hai.

                            Maine tata aig general insurance co. Me apni old car insurance policy no. [protected] ko cancel karne ki request 23/01/2018 ko di thi. Jiska refrance number 9848378 mila tha.
                            Maine sabhi formalitis clear kar di thi. Jiske baad mujhe coustmercare per bataya gya ki 3886 rupees ka refund thrugh neft 08/02/2018 mere bank account me bhej diya hai.
                            Maine check kiya to koi amount mere account me credit nhi hua. Jiski complaint maine dobara coustmercare pe ki to. Unhone mujhse bank statement maangi jo maine next day mail kar di.

                            Baad me mujhe aaj tak koi refund nhi mila h. Coustmercare wale under process batate h. Last 45 days se.

                            Maine jab policy with in one month cancelation ki request de di thi. To company ne 55% amount deduct kar liya hai. Jiski jaankaari bhi muje company nhi de rhi hai.
                            Jo ki as per irda guidelines wrong h.

                            Please mera shi refund mujhe dilvaaya jaaye. Or company k khilaf hard action liya jaaye. Taaki dobara compony aisa na kare. Thank you 20/03/2018

                              I am Ram mohan from Navi mumbai.I changed my car policy from M/s ICICI and took a new policy from M/s Tata Aig 0n dated 13 / 12/2017 and I have received my first policy on 27 / 12/2017 with a wrong vehicle reg num of MH 02 GV 7581 which is noticed by me in the month of Jan 2018. I informed to the customer service and asked them to rectify the same with my vehicle num MH 12 GV 7581.

                              Now I have received 8 hard copies of rectified insurance policies with the same mistakes from TATA AIG. .Then I contact Grievance department and spoke to Chief Manger Mr Rahul and he apologized for the mistakes and he send me a fresh copy on 8 th march 2018 with the same mistake.
                              Even after reprimanding them they have showed very casual and irresponsible attitudes towards this matter. Due to fear to be caught by the vehicle transport authority and legally punished I am not using my car and it is parked in the garage since 28 th Jan 2018 on wards Now i put a case in IRDA and waiting for there response.

                                Hi,

                                2011 Feb I brought a new vehicle and took TATA AIG insurance. Till this year I renewed without miss before insurance expiry date and I’ve not claimed all there years.

                                When I called the TATA AIG Customer Care to renew my two wheeler insurance this year, they are telling due to high risk coverage we can’t renew your insurance, and asking me to go for 3 party insurance.

                                I didn’t understand why they are renewing this year, even though they are telling risk coverage is high for my vehicle.. they should have intimated me earlier.. all this years I was getting alerts to renew.. but this year I have to call to renew and they are not ready to renew, which is not at all fair.

                                This should not happen to others as well.

                                What ever the reason they are giving is it valid, is it how they treat who was using their insurance all this years promptly.

Yeterday i was gone in silchar branch for to percial withdrawl some money from the above mentioned account but unluckily i phased some problems due to pan card and adhar card. I was providing every document but finally i can not process the withdrawl due to changed of mobile no. I wait there from morning 1115h to 1730h. So i requested to actioned on waisted time and misguidelines to customer by official staff mrs parinita of cash counter holder.

                                    Hi.. I have submitted my car for insurance claim (Holding the policy from past 5 years and no claim ever) first time with tata aig. Today it was supposed to be handover me back and car is ready in ford workshop but the claim officer is absent!!! He is not picking any of the phone calls. Called the call centre and no success! Call centre is also not able to give me any contact number of any senior personal! I can'tt understand why can't they share the numbers to their customers? They have all details of customer like - phone, address, pan, aadhar, e-mail etc and approach me any time but can't share their numbers???
                                    Call centre is asking me to speak on monday... Now, last thursday was half working day (Due to holi), friday was holiday (Due to holi), today is saturday (When i am supposed to get my vehicle which is ready at workshop!) and i can't afford to go to work shop on monday with half day leave from office after such a long weekend. No one cares here are tata aig and call centre is a waste as they can't help you and just day sorry.. Calling call centre means making fun of our self. I will not (Repeating, will not) renew my policy with tata aig next year. Thanks

                                      On 27th of feb 2018, my mother gets a call on her number asking about details of her axis bank account, she thought it was just a verification call from the bank and she was totally confused about what to say. Despite after she cut the calls multiple times the tata aig people were calling and literally harassing her, she had no idea what to say or speak and she was not at all interested in getting tata aig insurance policy. She never gave her consent to start the policy. The tata aig people forcibly started the policy.

                                      And even after starting this policy i have not received any email from tata aig and also when i call the respective bank (Axis bank branch of mehdipatman), i am asked to provide written consent to cancel the policy... Then why was written consent or signature not taken when starting the insurance policy?

                                        We have been in receipt with the above mentioned proposal number from bank bazaar through which i had purchased car insurance for my vehicle i20 elite.
                                        The payment was made on 23/2/18, but no confirmation about the successful transaction nor policy copy was issued to me.
                                        I would like to know where is the problem in confirming the same.
                                        Why the policy is not been issued to me, when the amount is debited from my account.
                                        I have cross verified with the bank also, and they state that the amount has been forwarded to the merchant. So from the bank side also the transaction is successful

                                        I fail to understand as to why is it taking so long to issue the policy for car insurance or is this we should expect when we work with tata aig in future
                                        I had high regards for tata group
                                        But to when i am experiencing such harassment from such an esteemed indian company i think i should double check my thoughts for them.
                                        This is totally not justified from a customers perspective
                                        I expect a quick action from tata aig people in resolving the issue at the earliest
