We hold a TATA SKY connection vide [protected]...the said connectivity was lost from Dec31 raised the complaint and the engineer visited on 02/01/2015. He said he needs to change the wire and informed about the charges, immediately when we called to the TATA SKY call centre the supervisor has clearly mentioned that we would be charged only for the service visit charges 170/- and we will not be charged for the cable. Today we receive a message asking us to pay 606/-, when called to the call centre now they say for 10mts its free and for 16 mts its chargeable...is it not the responsibility of the provider to call back to the customer after work was done and inform that 16mts wire was used so the charges of this amount would be charged ...instead of just debiting from the balance... when asking this the supervisor who spoke today says that will be charged, if you want you can write to some thing @tatasky.com BTW the service engineers have left without even informing after work done A very careless and taken for granted attitude towards customer

    I am a Tata Sky customer for several years. My customer Id is [protected]. The HD + Box has been giving a problem for the last couple of months. After some difficulty the box was changed. But again it has started giving serious trouble. It switches off / on, on its own. At times it happens every few minute, thus making it impossible to watch TV. I made complaint on the customer care number. Firstly it is very very difficult to get through the customer care number. The computerized menu is faulty. Again and again it brings you back to the start. If one is lucky to get through the customer care executive the call will just get disconnected all of a sudden. Be that as it may, after I made the complaint, someone came to attend the complaint. But after seeing the fault, he categorically stated that the boxes have inherent problem and cant be rectified. Though he promised he would forward the complaint to his seniors. Twice call was received confirming the fault, but to no avail. Again calls were made to the customer care. Out of 7-8 times, thrice call was connected but during the conversation with the executive on all occasions the calls got disconnected. No one has contacted since then. Just left high and dry. This is NOT EXPECTED FROM A TATA COMPANY. There is no direct online complaint mechanism. It appears even Tata's have given up the policy of "customer care" or "their reputation". Hope someone wakes up and do something about the suffering customers. Maneesh Goyal

        My ID is [protected], a request was placed at call centre that all english channels cannot be viewed, on 2nd Jan 15 a technician came to my place and went to terrace to rectify the problem, he was communicating on cell phone to check if there was a improvement in our signal, when my wife replied no Change, he responded that this was not our dish and again called up to check if there was a improvement, which was confirmed, after signing off the paper he left saying the Rs 170/- charges shall be deducted from account, while attending to our dish he first handled the adjacent <neighbour 's > dish, and it was found in the evening that neighbours TV was not working, a compiant was registered at call centre on 3rd Jan 15 for unethicial practise of this technician -he was aware that he has handled some other dish but never had the courtesy to feedback and check, so on 3rd Jan I have again called call centre to help fix neibhours probblem, a new technician came and attended, while he asked me to acknowledge the form that complaint was attended, i have signed it by adding Remarks, however since I did not pay him, while leaving out of door, i saw him scriblling back on the same form again that he added some content in the form, I protested that he should first complete the form by himself with his observations and later ask us to acknowledge and sign, I am attaching the copy which I clicked on cell phone, I did register a complaint on call centre however response was not encouraging, hope this shall be attended.

              Signal problems

              My Tata Sky (No [protected] with two set-top boxes) has recently relocated at the new address. There has been problems with the signal reception since relocation. After complaints with the customer care, one technician was sent, but the problem persists. I have spoken to the Customer Care nearly a dozen times, but to no avail. Now after about a week or so, they say, the visit by the technician will be charged (Rs 170/-). Please tell me,...

              Dear Sir, I am Mayank chaubey consumer of tatasky which subscriber id is [protected]. All free chanels including Sudarshan news donot play on my TV screen. when i call customer care excutive about my problem he has suggested me to change setup box. I can't change my setup box because change of setup box price rs500.In my opanion change of setup box should be free because another service provider vediocon giving all free chanels including sudarshan &peace of soul chanels. if all free chanels did not start as soon as i assured change service another service provider.                     There is no signal in TV while watching and this remains for 4-5 mins every time we watch tv. We are facing this problem from last 6 mths. We have placed our complaint with Tata Sky many time and every time they send their person but we are still facing the same problem. When we call Customer care they say they are trying to solve the problem. We are dissatisfied with this type of service and does not feel like watching TV. Kindly look into this matter at your earliest.

                      I have two set up boxes in my apartment in gurgaon. its been over a month since i have been calling them regarding one of them not working since over 30 days now. finally someone answered about a week ago and sent a techinical person. he came over did something with the box and could not get it fixed as the box kept saying there is no signal as the weather is bad outside, which it wasnt. this tata sky techinal person just got up and left and said he had no idea why this was happening. throughout the month they have been charging me for both boxes even though one of them seems to be getting no signal. my registered mobile number on the tata sky account is [protected].

                        I have two tatasky connections - primary with TataSky+ HD and secondary with basic HD box. The signals at secondary box is weak and sometimes, the channel loses the signal. The technicians have come, but issue not resolved. I understand the antenna LNA connection is the main problem.

                              I had registered a complaint through tata sky dth customer care on 24th Dec 2014 for defective remote sometime in the evening. The customer services executive informed me that a tata sky representative will visit to check on same and correct the defective remote or replace it. It was told to me by that person that there would be no charge applicable if the old remote do not have any physical damage. On 25th Dec 2014 a technician came 5 hours later than the appointed time, checked on the old remote and replaced it with another one. There was no physical damage to the old remote, however rs. 175/- has been deducted from my account Subscriber id - [protected]. Also another rs. 50/- was deducted towards visit fee. These charges were not mentioned at the time of taking the appointment. Also the technician said that a wrong work order was placed for this service and so these charges would be deducted from my account. Tata sky must have the recording of my conversation with their representative on 24th dec 2014, so i hereby place this complaint against this unethical practice hoping for corrective action.

From past one month (march end to till date) tata sky is not working showing message no signal till today I called several time every time the same answer, we have taken your request on priority basis and the problem will be resolved within 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours and our technician will call you, he will be coming to your place to rectify, the same answer given by all agents in help desk and today[protected] . if we don&#039;t get service with in 2 day i will complaint against the tata sky in consumer court .

                                  Chennai subscriber 29dec14. I cannot watch HD and some Tamil channels except sun tv. Regular customer of tata sky hd and paying rs 125 for hd monthly and not able to watch channels same regarding this talked to customer care hyderbad. if due data of subscriptions money not paid channels are disconnected and extra money deducted due to late payment. for full date we cannot watch channels star vijay tv and some channels. tata sky technology very bad not up to present market. tata sky loosing valuable customers.

                                    Some of the channels were not working due to bad signal. When contacted customer service, they advised it will be charged @ 170 Rs. Tata Sky couldn't able to provide signal and the amount is getting deducted from my account. Customer service is not friendly, non-cooperative and ruthless. Very worst service from Tata Sky - Planning to throw away and to have new DTH. Prabhu [protected]
