There is a major problem in setup box last one month and we are not getting service last few days .we have already try to get a setup box by agent but they have told that you have primerly file a complain to tata sky online site their after they will gide us regarding your problem . We need a new setup box what ever charge we will pay for that . Try to give help us as soon as posible.

        I am Ranjeet Kumar my ID is [protected]. I am extremely shocked with your service. I have changed my set top box in the month of July with additional charge of 500+150rs Which was
        1. In extreme bad condition and used.
        2. Was not in proper working condition.
        3. With in 2 days it stopped working i complain for it and was changed but the second one was also in bad condition and within 10-15 days problem arised.
        Since that time I stopped recharging and watching you tata sky but finally I want to ask did you change my set top box for just 27 days is this your service. And why did you charge 650 rs.
        After discussing this matter with you 20-25 representatives they accepted the mistake and your organisation is not changing this stupid box what is the reason kindly call and tell me what should I do Further I would like to talk to a single concern person before filing any case against you.

          Tatasky does not allow me to watch recorded content on my HD box that I have fully paid for even though there is a minimal balance of Rs. 10.69 and is pending a recharge shortly. In fact, this is pure bullying and is very very upsetting for me. I am sure there will be hundreds of people like me who are unable to view Tatasky HD box after we paid for buying the box and having it installed at our home. When I called up, they said that the connection is inactive, hence I need to recharge. I bought the box, paid for the recorded content already... then why should I recharge to view recorded content? Why are they taking away my accesses to view the recorded content? If I need to recharge, why should I pay for the box itself? I need this addressed immediately. I have raised a complaint after much argument with the customer service agent in an online chat...as #1-[protected] dated 23/1/2015. Portion of the chat is attached for your reference.

            I refer to my abv Subscriber ID and wish to state that Iam highly disappointed and shocked to receive the below 2 SMS on my registered Mobile nbr today.


            1st SMS - Request completed for Semi Annual Grand Sports, Rs2550, valid until 27Apr15. Current a/c bal Rs1571.37 Due date 13Apr15.
            Sent on my BlackBerry® from Vodafone

            2nd SMS - Pack request completed. Current a/c bal Rs 979.16. Due date 25Mar15. New monthly charges Rs 200. I[censored]nable to view channels, power on your box & SMS SR to 56633 Sent on my BlackBerry® from Vodafone

            What the heck does the above means, In just one day my Current a/c balance and Due date for next payment changes at your whims and fancies???

            My subscription is for "SEMI ANNUAL GRAND SPORTS" and it remains that way, I have half yearly subscription option and have not asked for any change in the Package & payment options, then who have authorised you to change these???

            I need a clarification and also want TATASKY to resort back to my actual subscribed package and payment terms as advised above.

            While TATA SKY have not replied to my abv mail as yet, meanwhile, I have to register one more complain on 22nd Jan, as both (primary & secondary) set of TV set stopped receiving signals on 21st Jan from 1600 hrs onwards and we cudn't watch the TV on that day at all.They registered my complain under WORK ORDER (WO GETGRVN) and on 22nd Jan around 12 PM their technician attended the problem and resolved it, it was discovered by the technician that the common dish antenna mounted on the terrace of the Bldg where I stay was the cause of the transmission failure. In fact the other users of the Bldg also faced identical problem and couple of them have registered the complain as I did. It is obvious that TATA SKY continue to operate and provide lacklustre services to their customer with outdated equipments so that the customers encounter frequent problem and lodge a complaint enable TATA SKY to send their technician and charge for attending the problem, this is tantamount to swindling the customers. Sorry TATA SKY, u have lost all the repute and I have decided to discontinue with your services and so are many other users from my Bldg.

            I had recharged my subscription online as below -

            On 13th Oct, 2014 - Amount Rs 2000.00
            On 27th Oct, 2014 - Amount Rs 2200.00
            Balance as on 27th Oct, 2014 - Rs 4130.74
            This was also reinforced by a SMS from you stating that the next
            subscription due date will be - 15th April, 2015
            However to my surprise I received a SMS in Feb'2015 that my subscription is
            due in one week time, this despite the fact the earlier confirmation
            mentioned my next subscription is due on 15th April, 2015.

            Subsequently on 25th Feb, 2015 I recharged on line Rs 3500.00 and then
            received a SMS that the next due date is 25th August, 2015.

            To my horror, I received a SMS on 18th April, 2015 stating that my
            subscription is due in one week time. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS AND HOW LONG U
            WILL CONTINUE FLEECING YOUR CUSTOMERS?????

            YOU have not even cared to reply to my earlier mail (attached) identical to
            the same problem and have the audacity to remain silent and shamelessly
            continue with your daylight robbery.

            I WILL NOT PAY ANY SUBSCRIPTION UNTIL 25TH AUGUST, 2015 and i[censored] wish to
            discontinue the service, please do then Iam at liberty to take legal
            recourse as well as refer the case to 'consumer forum'

            You wish to clarify or not is your discretion.

              Hi, My subscriber ID is [protected] in the name of Mr. Jaitesh Sharma. We have just shifted our flat in silver oaks apartment dlf phase 1, Gurgaon. On installation of the TV, the person had come to attend the complaint of TV not getting signals due to which the connection was not working. Now this house has a very old Dish for Tata Sky installed in which the camera has gone bad as told by the service agent from TATA Sky. I told him that on taking my personnel connection I was not given the dish stating that the said society has the mother dish and doesnt require a dish. In case I move somewhere where the connection is not there I would be getting the same. This guy who came just fiddled with the wires and told me that the camera would cost me Rs.450/- or else I would have to spend with the wiring cost as applicable. I asked him that why I cant get my dish he said its against company rules to provide dish tv in such places as TATA SKY is paying rent to the society. And why should I spend on the wiring. Its the cable connection responsibility to install the connection. That is installation. I fail to understand the logic behind not giving the dish i have with my connection or doing the wiring activity as a part of the installation. In the same society there are many houses having the dish installed. This is very harassing on the part of TATA SKY. In case this is not being solved I would like to take this up with the consumer redressal and would like to know for what am i paying in case connection is not revived in any situation. This guy was adamnent and was not ready to solve any problem as such. Just picked up his bag and got his sheet signed. He just said I am not responsible talk to the company. If you cant solve it kindly refund the money for the connection and disconnect the same. There are many other competitive DTH service providers in the market. I will make it ensured that the entire society is made to know that every time they have to shift their places they have to bear these kind of illogical costs.

                Hi I want to register this complaint on the poor quality of service by tatasky. My son exchanged ~7000+ zeetos in Oct'2014 and after long wait and multiple followups, in December 1st week, we were told that the selected gift could not be sent. Then the points were refunded. Without loosing hopes, my son again exchanged 9000+ points for another gift on 6th Dec. Now it is more than 1.5 months and no positive developments this time also. Whenever I call the TATASKY helpdesk, the useless guys give a 1week time line to give call back. Today I spoke to their supervisor who promised to update me tomorrow on the status ... Hope to see some progress and convince my son about the great service of TATASKY. ... Only the name includes TATA but the service is poor ... Myself, being another TATA group employee, saying this..

                    Hi I want to change from my pack to base pack and I want take Rs.210/ monthly pack. I do not want take 320 or 415 monthly pack and i am calling to [protected] (call rate 1 rs per min) called twice for alomost 12-15 min today but unsuccess for subs id [protected]. So now tata sky is not like that ..tata sky laga dala to life jhinga lala... very costly customer care with less responsive. Thanks...

                      We had sent a message to Tatasky customer care on 6th Dec that we are out of station since September 2014 end and not likely to return till Feb/march 2015. We wished to terminate our Tata Sky connection. I just got an autorespose that our person will contact you. Even after so many reminders, no one has contacted me or given me a satisfactory answer.                         Dear Sir / Madam, This is regarding my complaint no.[protected] dated 19.1.15 and[protected] dated 21.1.15 with Tatasky Customer Care. Let me now summarize my concerns. I have taken Tatasky connection on 25th December 2013 and activated an annual dhamal mix package on 25th January 2014 for a period of 1 year which is going to expire on 24th January 2015. Last month i.e. 25th December 2014, I have taken another multi-connection for my secondary TV against which I have paid Rs. 1, 800/- for set top box and Rs. 200/- for one month subscription charges which is valid till 24th January 2015. My Complaint: (a) My secondary connection was deactivated by Tatasky on 19th January 2015 without any intimation however it is valid till 24th January i.e. 6 days before. As a result, I am unable to see any channel. Against this I have lodged a complaint on 19.1.15 (complaint no. mentioned above) and I have been informed that it will be answered within 24 hours. However, instead of any revert from your side, today I come to know that my complaint was deleted from the system and does not exist where my grievance is still pending to be resolved. In fact, today I have been informed by customer care executive Mr. Mani that it is the mistake from the company side by deactivating the account which is incorrect. Even though my account is not yet made activated. (b) I have been informed that I have made the request for some English movies on 16th July 2014, however I have not made any such request. It is surprised that even if I have made this request, why no charges have been debited to me so far?? The fact is that I have never applied for any such connection for English movies. It is the mistake in the records of the company to levy the charges of somebody else into my account. Request: (i) The company should inquire the reason for above default made and revert back to me the possible measure for this. (ii) Why there is not any revert from back office team on client complaints?? Why it got deleted or made over without rectifying the defaults / communicating to customer? (iii) Even after knowing the facts that the mistake is at their end, why it is not rectified immediately instead of telling to customer that it would be reverted within 3 working days? (iv) I need the backup supporting evidence which substantiate / proof that I have made the request for English movies channel. (v) If Tatasky has to cheat its customers like this, I am not interested in pursuing further with their services and request to refund me full amount which I have paid for set-top box at the time of connection on immediate basis.

                          My ID is [protected]. Location : Dombivali, Maharashtra I requested for relocation of my dish antenna at my new address through helpline on 07/01/2015. On the same day the technician of local service provider connected my TV on somebody else's subscriber cable with a promise to come back in 2 days to fix my dish.He also collected Rs. 200 fee. Since then Inspite of my daily follow up with technician and local service provider office and their daily promise of sending technician, no one has turned up. till today ( very bad service ) . Meanwhile the other subscriber has objection on such unauthorized connection. Please look into this problem and get the incomplete work done.

                            Hi, Tata Sky sub Id : [protected] Name : Syed Abdul Azeem My HD set top box was giving me problems of 9th jan 2015..so called the customer care and asked for a technical visit on 10th jan 2015..a guy named prakash(Ph no : [protected]) came and said the problem is in the set top box and needs to be changed..so he took it in the morning and bought a replaced set top box in the evening and i was charged 520rs including 170rs for service visit..which i paid on 11th jan 2015 morning and again after couple of hours the problem arised..so i called the service centre in chrompet who attended my problem and informed about the same...so he again sent another guy named thenarasu..who now said the problem is in the dish and it needs to be changed and he changed it on 11th jan 2015..and even after that the set top box was not working and he said he will replace it free of cost and took in on 11th jan2015...the guy named RAJ([protected]) who is the incharge in chrompet said he will replace it on monday 12th jan 2015..but failed..on repeated calls he said on 12 jan 2015 evening that the replacement box will be avilable only after 2 days due to pongal holidays..and for time being he is giving a test box which he installed on tuesday 13th jan 2015..we use a Pack worth 230 and HD pack worth 125..but he gave a different card with basic 180 rs pack...but we adjusted to it...and after waiting for a week on 19th jan 2015 the validity of the test box he gave was over and we were not able to view it..so called him and asked about the same...but he didnt oblige even after repeated calls...now after calling the customer care and talkin to a superior and filing my complaint he called again and asked for 2 more days time..when asked about the same the manner he talked was so bad and rude...really not satisfied with the technical support of tata sky...                               Incident 1) On 16th jan, 12:43AM | Without my request or permission, English movies pack was activated in my account. Incident 2) On 17th jan, 1:47PM | i was watching TV and got message that your services got disconnected due to low balance. Incident 3) On 18th jan, 10:30AM I recharged my account with 1300INR, and waited till afternoon to get the channels started however it did not. So I called up at customer care and explained executive about the issue, he had ask me to do some tests which I did and a conclusion of that he arranged service visit to get it started and informed about 170RS charge, I clearly denied the executive to pay for the same still he arranged the service and deducted 170 on a very next day. (Listen to voice clip). I want you to answer me these... - I need justification for charging me English movie pack (voice clip or message request). I have not requested for this request. - why was I charged rs 170 even after clearly denying for that, without customer's fault. (Irrespective of warranty).

                                My subscriber ID is [protected] and I have been using tata sky for a long time.But every time I get different sub Id with a warning that my payment due date and if my subscription is not renewed, I will be charged for idle maintenance .Even today, my sub id is something different.I have complained to the people concerned, and they assure that this will not recur.but after sometimes this is again the problem. In the meantime my real recharge date has come and they have started asking me to recharge.Iam afraid there might be the same problem.Can anybody concerned assure me that this problem will not be there in future? Some times I get irritated and think of quitting Tata Sky.Any solution?

                                  My Tata skybox not showing signal since 07 days. I already inform the local Tata Sky dealer about this problem. But nobody come forward to solve this saying that they can't do anything because there is problem from the company. Therefore, I request you do necessary steps as soon as possible, otherwise I will file consumer case against you and will change my DTH.
