excessive labour charges

I have changed cell in my titan watch. Cost of cell was 60 rs and the labour charges were 177 rs. When i asked them about high labour charges they couldn't explain and said it's original cell, so it costs that much for that. I need help regarding this. How can they charge almost 300% more money for just changing the cell?? They didn't even tell me why excessive charges were applied? As a customer, i need to know and i have right to know for...

I bought a raga watch from a titan showroom in officers line vellore, tamil nadu. They have given me a dead watch right from the beginning. And when i am asking them to refund me my money and take the watch back, i am not getting any response from them. Really pathetic experience. Now i don't know what to do. That watch costs 5000 rupees. How to get my money back.

Bought titan skinn raw 100ml this time only 10 clicks after its stopped working, not spraying the perfume at all, please resolve tis issue

    Dear sir,

    I am purchased fast rack watch (Model n4053pp01) few years before.[protected] that date i went titan car center salem to change my strap. The store customer car told this is out of stock... After she replied my request take order from other store... Its take 20 -25 days... I give my watch and got from the store customer acknowledgement form and jo number is jo[protected]. After 25 days i call to store... She simple replied no stock... Pl wait for another 25 days...

    After i contact toll free number of titan and speak to above story and he replied order taken and strap arrangement form (Titan care [protected]) the some other shop. After 2 days again contact titan care given courier pod number also... (Waybill no : [protected])

      Today i had done a qerry about the gold price in tanishq showroom they had given me the a rate of 22 ct gold at 3090 per gm. When i had done a qerry in pc jewelers they had given me the rate of 22 ct gold at 2761 per gm there is a deference of 329 rs per gm
      Acording to mcx today gold price is 3010 for 24 ct per gm
      This means that tanishq is doing fraud the customer and also going beyond the government rules and take advantage of the customer and making them fool

      I have raised an issue more 40 days back and two times the company reverted on mail to return money within 10 days but failed. They are misleading again and again and not resolving the issue.

        Hi,
        I have purchased a watch (Nkcuo38pp01) for my kid, but within a month seconds needle was came out from its location. I went to show room on sunday and informed the issue. Titan care told that right now we don't have needle you come on tuesday i told it's ok keep this watch and let me know once fixed or let have your contact so that i can call and come and know whether required needle is available or not. He told don't worry it's matter of 5mins to fix. As i was bit busy i visited them on friday. Now they are telling that we have required needle but collect next day (After 24 hours time). They are telling it need to keep in observation. Whateveray be the reason. It is not correct to give false statements and waste the valuable time of customer. It is very bad experience titan. Thanks

          I purchased a bangle (Product code:512017vejriaoo-bangles) yesterday.net weight of the bangle is 27.765grams.
          Today morning when i wore it within 10mins. I realized that that it is not possible to wear it any more cause its edges on a joint are hurting continuously.
          For me it is not possible to come immediately for repair but i hope it will be repaired on my next visit without any charges because it's none of my fault.

              I bought a diamond nose pin to wear on one ear, from Tanishq, Angul, Odisha. But the next day decided to exchange it for a pair of diamond ear pins. But when I reached there, the attendant started babbling that, you cannot get the exact refund on the product since it's diamond not gold. Then when read out their return policy to them they finally complied that it can be done. Then they said that their servers are down since 2 days and it's gonna be the same for the next 2 days. so I went after 2 days and still they maintained that the servers are down and nothing can be done. Even the management refused to do anything about it. How do you plan to stay in business here with such a crappy service and management. It's a shame. I am yet to get any word or exchange from these people. Tanishq sucks big time. My first experience and it's so bad.

                Around 10 months after purchasing the titan htse watch the silicon strap broken down while traveling
                The watch fell down and stopped​ working
                Now they term it as accidental damage and claim it won't be considered for warranty
                When the company is charging such high price why can't they provide Google quality strap
                The fastrack watch which I purchased for Rs900 around 4 years ago is still in proper condition with its strap
                My request is please provide quality product when the company is charging so high
                Actually it's a scam of giving warranty on machine and providing low quality strap for which they charge high price on damage of strap

                  I had placed order for 2 watches on 8/7/18 i.e sunday by already making a online payment. but for my surprise when i am tracking on wednesday its showing as deliverd. so when i called customer care n told the matters i came to knw dat d name and phone no of my order ws linkd wid sum diff name n ws already delivrd to dm too. thy promised a resolution widin 48 hours bt nw its been 5 days and no reaponse from d team. Titan is just cheating customers. never buy the product frm such fraud company. hopeless service.

                      I had given my watch just to change the battery Metal Arts Enterprises (Titan care) located at City Center 2, Kolkata. This showroom is an authorized Titan care showroom. I am complaining against the labor charges this showroom has levied on my bill for just replacing my battery. The problem with my watch was that my battery was dead, so they replaced my battery with a new one. The cost of battery replacement was Rs48/- and the labor charges levied was Rs295. The amount mentioned is as per the invoice receipt they gave me. The total bill I got for just a battery replacement was Rs343. Does it sound good? Does Titan provide service this way? You might be the largest provider of watches, but this is poor service. Just let me know this charge is fixed by Titan itself or the dealers are trying to cheat us?

                      Can Titan look into this issue and help me?

                        Purchased Titan metal belt at Titan store nakkalagutta Hanamakonda warangal dist on[protected] with lot of hopes on quality parameters but soon I realised Titan is failed to stand on quality.                           Hi, ,
                          I was charged Rs. 106 for a 30 sec battery replacement job as Labour charges. This was in addition to Rs. 60 as battery cost. This Labour charge is too high and that too in World of Titan showroom in Gomtinagar Lucknow. I saw thw techician take not more than 30 secs to take out the back cover of the watch and replace the battery.
                          I will also suggest everyone to avoid this outlet as the attitude of staff is horrible.

                          I have been using titan watches for last 20 years and had never experienced this type of fleecing in the titan showroom. I really want Titan to look into this and ensure no one is getting fleeced.

                            I had purchased a necklace vide BHU/CM/4845 dtd 04.07.2018 from TANISHQ Chandrasekharpur Branch, Bhubaneswar, odisha . Today i.e on 07.07.2018 I had given the same necklace for joining of some extender at around 645pm, the ground billing staff assured me to do the job within 1 hour and gave me the receipt. I came back exactly one hour after at around 8pm. To my utter surprise, forget about completion of my job...even the concerned billing staff had not sent the same to the workshop in 1st floor... even though I had told from the beginning to do the job within one hour as I had some important work to follow up. I tried to contact the shop floor manager to convey my displeasure, but I was told he had gone outside...anyway I had very little time to lodge a complaint.So I left the store immediately.
                            Sir, I can understand sometimes work can not be completed in time...but I am unable to understand why the same was not even sent to the workshop.
                            This is simply horrible to expect from a reputed brand like Tanishq.

                              Today I visited Shakti Times in Jayanagar 4th block Bangalore, which is a world of titan servicing centre. I have some watch collection and went for battery replacement. They are collecting battery replacement service charge based upon model. For some of the models RS 50 and for some other models RS 100 + GST + Battery Cost.
                              May I know the reason why you people are collecting battery replacement service charge based upon model ?
                              Ideally it should be same service charge for all models for battery replacement right ?
                              Also what I observed is battery cost will be RS 50 but service charge is RS 50 (or) 100 + GST, which is more than equal (or) double to the Battery Cost.

                              While replacing one titan zoop watch battery they have broken back case which is madeup of plastic material. While taking back I observed that and asked for explanation for which they told it is already broken. They are telling it is quite common and don't argue with them by showing same model which was brought by another customer and insulted by spitting before me. It is quite horrible experience with this servicing centre. I have complained regarding that service person behaviour to his owner. Don't know he will take action (or) not.

                                Dear Titan,

                                I would like to bring this issue of imposing a heavy labour charge(triple cost of a battery) for just replacing a battery by your Titan outlets/Repair center.

                                Today(06/07/2018) i went to Titan, G1& G2, Pioneer Towers, Shanmugham Road, Marine Drive, Kochi-31, Kerala, to replace my Titan wrist watch battery, but when i received the bill, it was shocked. The cost of the battery is just Rs 48 and the Labour Charge is Rs 118(which was no mention to me before) and another 5 Rs for what nobody knows(118+5 =123). i find this so ridiculous act from Titan towards its customers, for imposing such a great Labour Charges.And when i enquired a local watch repair shop nearby, he used to replace watch batteries only for just Rs40 (including new battery) and Titan is just exploiting their customers which will lead to a very bad impression for Titan Company. Refer attached bill which i paid just for replacing a wrist watch battery.

                                  I need a new belt since they is no stock in show room, they said that the model is expired so i need a new belt. I bingi rambabu goud from hyderabad. Model number - 1535yl04 titan, "strap replacement only" they said the has become old so they is no stock and the watch is 5 years old so i need some discount coupoun and iam privilage customer of titan both watches are purchased from your company so please replace the strap or give me discount coupoun. The showroom members are not responding so please grant my request. Thank you

                                    Date of incident: 20.06.2018
                                    Incident description: i had purchased a titan raga model # 9934ym01 on 1.07.2013 and also a emg which was valid till 01.07.2018. But on 20.06.2018 when my watch was not running properly, visited the wot jadavpur branch (Address : 27a, raja subodh chandra mullick road,, near jadavpur bus stand,, jadavpur, kolkata, west bengal 700032) and presented the emg card. But for some weird reason, they were not ready to accept this emg card which was still valid on that day. They didn't provided the service and was charging me for the battery replacement. Also took my card for 1 day to verify with branch from where i had purchased this watch and next day they communicated with the same argument that this card is not for battery replacement and i need to pay for the battery.
                                    But with the same card when i visited the wot barasat branch, they replaced it without any cost.
                                    Jadavpur branch person in charge was mr. Amar das who was misbehaving with me on this. This is ridiculous service provided by titan.
