Dear sir,

Greetings!

I was having a ghs account of the subject number in my name with tanishq camac street, kolkata branch for an amount of rs. 2, 000/- per month. The scheme must have matured in the month of september, 2017. I was supposed to buy jewellery worth rs. 21, 500/- (My contribution + tanishq return). With the intention of availing of the same, i had visited the store yesterday evening. I was kept waiting for quite sometime when the person who was attending me (Mr. Trivedi) checked the system with my account number. After about 30 minutes mr. Trivedi told me to go and select a jewellery of my choice while he gets the paper work completed so that while waiting, the choice could be made. I went forward and chose a pair of ear ring costing about rs. 27, 300/- and requested for final billing enabling me to pay the extra money incurred over and above the scheme amount.

I was then kept waiting for more 30 minutes and then on my reminding mr. Trivedi to hasten up my billing, he went up to check and then after about 10 – 15 minutes came back to say that my account cannot be settled with a purchase as refund has already been processed and the tanishq contribution amount of rs. 1, 500/- shall be given to me in the form of a voucher and my contribution of rs. 20, 000/- shall be sent back to me by a cheque. I was surprised as no communication to this effect was ever made to me from tanishq informing me about this. I asked mr. Trivedi to which he had no answer.

I wasted my good 1.5 hours time at the store, selected a product and then was given to understand this. I left the store and within a couple of minutes received a call from the store saying that there has been a miscommunication and my account is open and i can come and buy the jewellery.

The above was an example of serious mismanagement & unprofessionalism and at the same time an insult to a customer that even after selecting a product, she was refused to be sold that mentioning my scheme money is in refund process and then after wasting a considerable time, to re-communicate that it was an error hence i should come back to get the product and encash my scheme.

I was very disturbed by the above and demand an explanation to this behaviour.

At the same time, would request you to please refund my money (Along with an interest) asap into my account, details of which are furnished below :

    Having titan steel case watch which about 3 years old (Sentimentally it is important for me to retain that watch) it has dial fading / stain issue in recent times. I am shocked to hear that they (Chennai pondy bazaar direct outlet) need 15 days time for the same. Was not able understand whether is was such critical to replace a dial? If so, why they are in watch business? How come they expect the customers to go without watch for 15 days time? Is it fair to say such lethargic reply. They don't have customer friendly service attitude. Beware of buying titan products. It must be use and throw product. Not serviceable

      I have given a fastrack watch for glass replacement as it got broken... But they told it is taking time to receive the order made for glass from titan... And service cannot be made as expected... How much time is needed for titan service centers to change a glass stuff... And also they added that for watches that are purchased online doesn't come under warranty... And what kind of policy is this for the titan service center's to do with.??

        I bought a diamond nose ring for my mother from tanishq on 12-nov-2017. Within a week its screw broke during night and the nose ring was found luckily on bed next day. I dont understand how can this happen with a brand new product. Now i have given this to the showroom for repairing (Ccaf no. Aga1700974). And it is written that i'll be charged for repairing. First of all you people charge 10% making charges and for the poor making service you are taking repairing charge. Seriously disappointed with tanishq.

          SERIOUS MATTER TO BE NOTICED BY MANAGEMENT

          Respected sir,

          I want to start my talk to the point.

          I am 15 year old customer of titan watch. Even my whole family is wearing titan watch and I always gift my staffs and relatives your watches on different festivals.

          Now the issue is as under:

          I gave my titan watch for dial glass replacement at your authorized service Customer service named B.G.ELECTRONICS, Opp. Jain Girl’s School, 1st Floor, Ghogha Gates, Bhavnagar-1, Gujarat, India. Ph.[protected], Mo-[protected] on dated 07/12/2017 and got receipt from store vide receipt no-715.

          They told me to get back your watch next day and as they told, I went today for getting back my watch but unfortunately I forgot to keep receipt with me so I asked my wife to send the image of that receipt so I could show them for reference.

          I requested the person in charge and the store owner that normally I would busy due to business so please go for some practical solution as my house is 8 km far from the store. I was agree to give my id proof but they refused. They were saying that without receipt we will not give you watch.

          I asked them if the receipt might be lost then what will you do ?, then I was really surprised with their reply as they replied that “your watch will also be lost”.

          WHAT A RUDE BEHAVIOUR I EVER FACED FROM ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE STORE EXECUTIVE…!!!

          Then I requested to store owner that do needful, and I also asked them if my received might be lost then what will you do? Then against I was surprised second time.

          He told that “without receipt, we will give your product after 15 days”

          WHAT A GREAT REPLY I EVER RECEIVED FROM YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE STORE OWNER…!!!

          I also request him that please dial a call to your head office, I will talk to them and will ask for what are the rules to solve this problem but owner told that “this is my store and I make the rules and all customers have to follow such rules”

          Any ways, I left the store immediately but one thing I want to tell you that

          My dear sir, I am also doing business in service sector but I know what is the value of customer. Such stores are representing the brand TATA.

          Now I have decided I will never buy watches from titan if I got such surprised reply from your stores.

          I have also attached video to prove behavior of your executive at B.G.Electronics and also attached my receipt which was given by them with this mail.

          My request is to please train your staffs very well and teach them how to behave with customer and go for some practical solutions.

          I could have shared this issue in social media and consumer forum but I know what is reputation and public image for business so before doing this I felt good to share it with you and see what are actions from your side.

          Very Very bad experience with TITAN STORE.

            Today i have changed battery of my titan watch at "world of titan" at bistupur, jamshedpur, the charge rs.50/- as labour charge.in my house all wriest watch
            Are of titan. Earlier this shop have never charge for fitting of battery. I objected the same the mecanic told it is applied by company.

            The cost of battery is rs.60/- and lc is rs.50/-. Why i will go to titan there are many shops.

              I am fed up with my htse watch, i visit titan service centre every 3 months.
              I donot why titan made this htse watch worth rs 8000/
              It is very poor and every time it has some problem and watch suddenly stops.
              When i visit service center they teach me that keep ur watch in sunlight, should i wear the watch and sit in sunlight???
              Anyone can check that how many time i have given my watch in service center, receipt has been attached.
              Already 1 month gone but still no resolution.
              Resolve the issue at earliest.

                I have purchased one spectacles from titan eye plus vaishali nagar jaipur recommended progressive glass by their optician. But when i used them i got sever headache and was not able to use them because it gave me blurred vision.
                When i complaint the store optician i was advised that it will take some time to adjust to new progressive glasses so i used them for some more time but nothing improved.
                When i went back them again they advised me to change the frame and charged me more for that. However in spite of doing that the specs are the same and gives me headache and blurred vision. On complaining again they said specs are correct from our side it is perfect and there is no fault in the specs.
                Now i can not use these specs and my 7000/ - is a waste therefore filing complain in consumer forum

                  Its been a terrible experince.
                  I bought a sonata ng8992pp03j analog watch - for women on 13/05/2017.
                  The watch stopped 4 to 5times till this period of time. I went to my nearby sonata service centre each time the repairs, within a week its goes same again.
                  Either the sonata product quality gone worst, or service not able to find out the right problem.

                  Need urgent attention and assistance.

                    I have complain regarding my watch. I had given my watch for repair one week back.
                    I collected it from the store on 5th dec 2017 tue.
                    Next day i wore my watch on the same day and riding the bike the screw of watch felled down some where.
                    Again i went back to store to show my watch to them but the person over there is responding back that i have to pay 350 inr.
                    But my concern is that its not my fault then why should i pay.
                    I had shown many time same problem to the shop but every time they fixed it temporarily an gave it back to me and every time screw came out very next day.
                    This time they kept my watch whole one week but they could not fix it permanently.

                    Note: if you need bill and warranty card i can provide mail me accordingly.

                    Please take necessary action.

                      Sub: redemption of 3012 encircle points expiring on 31 dec. 2017 (Card[protected]

                      Dear sir,

                      We are good customers of titan watches through our company vinayak enterprises, pune, which is owned by my wife mrs. Rema r. Nair. On 16 and 22nd nov. 2017 my wife received sms from titan on her mob. [protected], as follows:

                      “dear member, your titan encircle points worth 3012 is expiring on 31 dec’17 & you have 3012 points balance in your account as on 15 nov ’17. Redeem it now. Visit http://smsd.in/jUeTaHWk for more. Call [protected]”

                      On 28/11/2017 my wife and i went to titan watch showroom in pune and tried to redeem her encircle points 3012. Unfortunately we could not succeed as we were told that her card has been blocked, and my wife was not even informed about this. However, my wife was getting smss frequently informing her that 3012 encircle points are going to expire and she should redeem the points before 31 dec. 2017. My wife called your customer care several times, but they were not much helpful. They told that the card was in the name of company vinayak enterprises and not in individual name, so the card was blocked. My wife is the owner of vinayak enterprises, so we request you to kindly consider this and allow us to redeem the encircle points before 31 dec. 2017. Please refer this to titan watches senior management and get the resolved.

                      We would appreciate your prompt action and look forward to hearing from you.

                        Calling the customer care No.[protected] is a waste of time, as they are totally unhelpful. At least a Senior Manager should look into complaints and come out with proper solution.

                          I m purchased fastrack watch on 30 August 2017 during setting of time, my watch main key is broken may be its faulty key after visit to titan service centre they told me warranty is covers only for internal parts and watch key is not included in warranty but in warranty form this type of terms not mention, they told me we are replace rod and key which is not similar to original watch u have to pay 450 rs...what is use of titan brand and it's service

                            Well since the first day i have been facing the issue with the titan juxt watch.
                            I purchased the watch from lifestyle inorbit mall, hyderabad.

                            Initially the watch had problem with the digital part of it and the battery was not charging. I reached out to the same store and they replaced, then after 10 days o[censored]se (Note: i hardly used that watch for a day or two) i tried charging and surprisingly the same issue came up with more added issue in it well it would stuck at 20 %, also the issue with the connectivity of the watch with the mobile device. (For information i have two device with me an apple iphone 6s and nexus 5x), i'm sure my devices are well updated and are able to be connected to most of wireless/bluetooth devices. I approached again to the same store and they said we are sorry and replaced the watch again, now after 2 to 3 months again the same issues started occuring, and this time i called the customer support.

                            I really would like to say that titan customer care is one of top worst service in india, my first attempt call went through and disconnected, second attempt call got connected representative said his welcome line and the other second said iam really sorry iam unable to here you clearly and he disconnected the call.

                            Second day i tried the again to call them this some agent picked up the call and said "i will arrange u a call back within in 24 hours" call ended.
                            Waited for 72 hours and nothing.

                            Now tried to take help with email. And the same thing repeated.

                            I'm pasting the mail that i got from titan customer care, and what you know got the same mail 3 times, every time i asked for response, here it is please have a look.

                            I finally lost hope and reached out to titan world gave my watch to them, and was told that it will take 30 days to check the watch and repair, still i gave.
                            They told me "sir we have completely changed the dial it's a new dial and you will not face any issues, and handed me watch on october 7th, 2017.

                            And what you know today is 28th november 2017, and the watch is completely dead.

                            Now the same thing repeats again, called back the customer care, and surprise" i will arrange a call back in 24 hours"this is the response i got.

                            Warranty on my watch is going to end, and then all i have to do is just throw the watch in trash bin.

                            I don't understand such a good company has such a poor customer service, well poor is bit good it's pathetic.

                            Once the warranty on the watch is over, their obvious response will be" sir i'm really sorry we cant help please reach out our out of warranty team they will explain you the charges of the repair, and seriously i cant go through that, cause i waste a lot of buck on this watch and will definitely choose to throw in dustbin rather getting it repaired.

                            I have already lodged a complain attaching the sr numbers and the copies those mails regarding the issue, to the ministry of electronics and information technology, at least expecting them to help me with the issue.

                              labour charges for a minor battery change

                              I had given my watch for repair at ngda watches pvt. Ltd. (Titan care) at sector 17, vashi, navi mumbai -400703. This showroom is an authorized titan care showroom.
                              My complaint is regarding the labor charges this showroom has levied on my bill for just replacing my battery. The problem with my watch was that my battery was dead, so they replaced my battery with a new one.
                              The cost of battery replacement was rs 65 and the labour...

                              I approached titan service center to replace faulty battery... They at first said it cost rs 350 to replace it... When i asked again it comes to rs 173... The bill clearly shows that actual cost of battery is rs 55...100 rs is service charge and remaining gst... For a battery of watch to be replaced which is just 5 mins job they taken from me rs 100... This is clearly unethical to charge more to service than the cost of the part getting replaced... Moreover when i registered this complaint in consumercomplaints forum within 5 mins i got a call introducing himself as titan representative... He asked me all the details and said me to refund rs 100 to my account... I have gave the bank details to get the money transfer... Just after 2 mins again call from same number asking pin number... I understood its a fraud call and i ended the call... Titan is a trusted brand for manyone... These craps will make it untrusted... If this call has been recieved to some old persons or likeones they might reveal the pin number... These calls are to be strictly monitored... I got the call from +[protected]... The call has been recorded also... Also titan should act appropriatly on my complaint... This much sercice charge is no way accepted...

                              When i am posted a complaint here a person introduced himself as titan executive called me and heard all the complaints from me... He agreed to refund the money... Then he asked me my debit card number, its expiry date, pin number etc... Giving card number is ok... But pin number is not needed for account transaction... When i am said this he just asking me the pin number repeatedly... What a horrible. Thing... Things like this only heard in news and read in newspaper... Its a shame for titan brand itself... Trusted customers will gets cheated on these types of craps...

                                I got the batteries of my fastrack watch replaced and was charged rs 355 for it which included rs 250 as labour charge. This is outrageous and not at all acceptable. You expect us to pay an amount of rs 250 as labour charge for battery replacement?? Is this some kind of joke? And the shameless titan staff replaced the batteries within 2 minutes and still charged rs 250 as labour charge. I want titan to do something about it and do something quick. Being a loyal customer of titan, i expect this to get resolved quickly.

                                  I had lodged a complaint on 21/11/17 regarding slow running of my new watch, hardly 5 months old, . I have handed over the watch to the service centre at overbridge, Trivandrum on 21/10/17 (that was second time). The watch is not yet serviced and returned to me till the day...
                                  Very good company!!! You have not even shown courtesy of responding to my complaint nor seen instructed the service centre to return my watch. It's more than a month now...I have preferred. a case with consumer protection cell, Trivandrum against this atrocious action..I feel others should also join...

                                    I had purchased a raga ladies watch worth about rs.7000 at "world of titan, gajuwaka, vizag, ap in 2016.
                                    After reaching home we found that it is not working. Immediately by
                                    Complaining, the dealer has changed its machine/ battery and returned.
                                    Again now since last one month same watch is not working. It seems titan is
                                    Selling all damaged watches in their shown under the great brand shadow of
                                    Titan raga with high price tag.
                                    Another great thing is, four days back i had given the watch to the dealer
                                    For checking but they did't bother to call me back till now. Today when i
                                    Called them, they are asking me where is the watch, when you have given,
                                    What type of watch etc. It means no body cares about the customer. More
                                    Over manager is not there in the showroom and others does't want to give
                                    His cell number.
                                    Today (Thursday) i had called to titan tollfree number, they took the
                                    Complaint and said that, their zm will call only on tueseday i. E. After 5
                                    Days.
                                    This is the status of titan a great tata's company. They have more
                                    Formalities than a central govt. Employee.
                                    Now i understand, why tata s are facing problems?
                                    With this i lost my earlier confidence/ good faith on titan.
                                    If any body feels responsible from tata, please respond immediately and
                                    Resolve my problem.

                                      Variant no.-nf6113sm02 (Df488) watch was brought from world of titan, unit no. S006, south city mall, ground floor, 375, prince anwar shah road, kolkata – 700068 on 22/01/2016. Extended maintenance guarantee (Emg) were also bought along with the watch.
                                      The watch is not functioning properly since after it’s purchase. It getting stopped even after repairing from your service centers. For instance, it was repaired on 10/10/17 (Invoice no. 127, caf no. 144) again need to put in repairing on 21/10/17 collected on 30/10/17 (Invoice no. 187, caf no. 315). It has again got stopped working.
