breaking and repair of a ring

I am your regular customer, dr mahima sharma, email : [protected]@yahoo.co.in.. I have been regularly investing in your ghs for almost last 4 years. I bought a diamond ring last year on 29.7.2016 as a part of redeeming my ghs. I hardly wore it... Today i found a part of my ring which held diamonds in the centre detached from the main ring band. I never wore the ring regularly nor did it hit anything. This is the 1st time i am complaining...

Hello titan head,

I had purchased your valuable product titan eyeglasses with frame of ray ban with special features advantage, anti-reflective+, dust repellent, smudge resistant, filters electro magnetic waves from electronic gadgets, water repellent, fog free, anti-reflective + fog free.

When i found that water repellent, fog free, anti-reflective + fog free features are not working with my spectacle, then their one of the executive told me, sir its our business strategy but non of the eye glasses having such facilities (Water repellent, fog free, anti-reflective + fog free), but this is our titan brand and its better than other. But you can leave your product i will send to company.

But sir hen yesterday i again went to your store, then i met mr. Rakesh ranjan (Store head, as per his introduction) he told me that sir our executive make fake commitment with you, actually these features are nor activate in our glasses. When i ask, why you mentioned in your broachers, then your store head tod me that sir its our business strategy, you can understand, and also not ready to release a bill where mentioned that the frame is for ray ban and glasses are from titan eyes. Sir, titan is a brand and well known organization then how can your store cheat the customers.

    Extremely pathetic service!! Acc #[protected]/2016 i opted for golden harvest scheme. I have paid the installements and dint want to purchase jewellery and requested refund. I was confirmed that the cheque will be sent on my address within couple of days. Despite multiple follow ups by visiting the store and call centre, no help. I request a refund of my own paid amount of 30k asap.

      Sir/madam,

      I would like to bring to your attention the bad customer experience i went through at your store on sunday eve (Sep 3rd ‘17 at around 7:45pm). I walked into the rajouri garden store with my spouse, we were looking for an ear-ring for her.

      The security guard on the ground floor asked us what we were looking for and guided us to the first floor. We had just climbed up the stairs when a middle aged employee (Lalit, he did not reveal his last name) approached us. Without even a customary greeting or a formal hi/hello, he coldly told us that there are already 4 people waiting to be attended to and that it could take more than “an hour” for our turn. I was really put off by his insensitive approach. Tanishq has our trust and for that reason we travelled 45 minutes from our home in uttam nagar to the store. This guy, for all his customer-handling experience, was fully prepared to throw us out of the store the moment he saw us. I explained to him that we have come from far to look for something and this is how you treat us. Why don’t you do something to manage the weekend rush (Like additional staff etc)? He replied rudely saying, “i am not getting into a debate with you on these matters and we can’t hire 50 executives if we have 50 customers walk into our store on a weekend”. I asked him if i could meet a senior and he replied curtly that he was the senior in the store.

      Another family also protested alongside me that they had travelled from gurgaon and had no idea that more than an hour waiting time would be required at the store. When the protest grew louder, mr. Lalit said if you sit in the store, we can serve you till midnight. But can a customer from gurgaon or uttam nagar (For all practical reasons) stay in the store till midnight, we reasoned.

      Overall, this lalit guy spoiled our evening and here i am requesting all the senior members to think about customer experience at the store. I have left a note in the visitor’s diary on the first floor (Name - bipul barnwal).

      Possible solutions to such bad customer experiences could be that you increase staff during weekends or put a note at the entrance alerting customers about the weekend rush and a potential delay in service. The way lalit treated us clearly showed that he was just not willing to serve us (Mind you, the closing time was 45 minutes away. Store closes at 8:30pm on a sunday). That instead of explaining the difficulties, he was determined to throw us out of the store.

      I hope you will address such issues and sensitise front end staff about customer experience/handling etc.

        I had purchased a wrist watch model - nh9453km01e on 07/12/2014 worth rs 16995/- from fogla durables ltd. Gel church ranchi having rmn [protected]. After three years of smooth running the watch stopped functioning. I approached the titan's service centre for repair of the watch on 02/08/2017 and was asked to collect the watch after 20 days. When i went to collect the watch i was shocked and surprised to know that the watch wasn't repairable and offered me to replace the watch at 50% of the purchase price of the watch.
        Since this watch has emotional values attached to and has been purchased only three years back, the watch according to me should be repaired.
        Kindly take an early and justified decision.

        I had purchased a wrist watch on May'17. After three months the Gold plating got faded. I approached the titan's service center for repair of the watch on 29/07/2017 and was asked to collect the watch after 30 days. When i called them after 35 days, it was surprise to know that the watch wasn't repairable and offered me to replace the watch a voucher.
        Kindly explain me for the below mentioned queries
        1. In this latest world, it took 1 month to check whether the watch can't be repairable.
        2.That too nobody responded before my call after 35 days
        3. After 55 day also, nobody turned up for this issue

        Why I had been forced to face this type o[censored]nprofessional care by TITAN ?

          I bought the titan 1731sl01 for my dads birthday this january. The watch stopped working just after a few days and in february it was at the workshop of titan for repairing. After a few days we got it back but again there was some breakdown with the watch and it stopped working. Since a month or two the watch is still in the workshop. I bought this watch from bharuch, gujarat. I want to add that i dint get the value for my money plus it was a birthday gift which was totally messed up and its really annoying for both me n my dad. I have already filed a complaint earlier to titan to which i got no response.

            The worst experience which i have ever faced. We ordered ring at 10th june 2017 and they have mentioned like they will deliver within 20 days. We agreed and paid half of the amount. At july 3rd week we got a call from tanishq to collect the ring. When i went to collect ring design was changed and it was not the one which we have ordered. I spoke with the staff and manager regarding this issue but they were trying to convince me saying this is the design which i had mentioned. Finally they agreed to change the design with the weight which we have mentioned. After one month we didnt get any updates from tanishq. I called at august last week and came to know like they have not started process to change ring design. Then they asked for extension of days and we agreed. Its my engagement ring and its groom ring. Really they have created bad impression and no proper response from their side. Finally i went to shop direcly. Then also they have not done anything for the required ring. There also we didnt get expected response and they are very careless.

            Cons:
            1. They agreed for selected ring in 10gms. (At last they told they cannot do)
            2. They agreed to deliver on time (But still i didnt get at hand even after giving extension of time)
            3. They didnt give any updates
            4. They are wasting our valuable time (Till now i went 3 times to collect 10gms ring)
            5. No proper behavior to customer
            6. Instead of doing proper work, they are just convincing to get available ring
            7. Mentioning unnecessary rules and policies to fool customers.
            8. Money minded and incorrect delivery of product.
            9. Even higher officials are not responsible enough to manage customers or take any immediate action for their side mistakes.

            Very very very bad experience

              I went to Tanishq outlet at Shipra Mall Indirapuram today. Today's gold rate for 22 carat is 28000 for 10 grams however Tanishq is charging 29170 + 23% making charges (this is for gold set). PC Jwellers nearby is charging 28000 which is genuine. It is illegal for Tanishq to charge more gold rate than market.

                  My name is maithri shetty. I have been a tanishq customer since quite a long time and i believed tata being a prestigious brand would show some amount of quality while selling ornaments. I had purchased a ruby ornament about 10 years back and only wore it once. However, when i viewed the ornament now while checking my other ornaments, the ruby seems to be bleeding a red color (Images posted below). When i showed this to the jayanagar tanishq branch in bangalore, they told me they would get it fixed. Later, they inform me that they would be charging close to 3000 rupees to do all the polishing and finishing for the ruby. Why should i pay for the defective jewelry created by you'll?
                  It is clearly your fault in supplying a defective product to a customer who is entrusting you'll with lakhs of their hard earned money. Really disappointed with the way you'll handled this issue. I really need you'll to fix this issue asap as i don't think i can recommend anyone to buy products from tanishq in the future since you'll are chaeting customers in this manner.

                      I am operating two accounts under your above scheme with your palakkad showroom as per details below:
                      A/c no[protected] leela cvk for rs 2000/= for 10 months
                      Do[protected] indira vmd for rs 3000/= for 10 months

                      Yesterday - ie 23rd i submitted two cheques to the concerned executive in your showroom towards installments due. One of the cheques, for rs 3000/= was dated 28th inst, so as to facilitate me to arrange funds.in the evening i got a call from your showroom objecting to the post dated cheque.
                      I dont understand why they can not accept a post dated cheque. If at all they had any objection, why they accepted it in the first instance, when i submitted it in the morning.
                      Besides, when i was in service in mumbai during `92 to 2011, i was having accounts with your bandra showroom for 6 years consecutively. At the time of submitting the relevant application each year, i used to submit 10 post dated cheques, to avoid the inconvenience of going to the showroom every month to submit a cheque. The showroom executive/s didn`t have any objection in accepting post dated cheques.
                      When bandra showroom has no objection to accept 10 pd cheques at the time of opening an account, how a palakkad showroom can object to accept a pd cheque once?
                      Have you different rules for different showrooms? Besides how your showroom executives can deny a legally accepted payment practice like a pd cheque?

                      Incidentally, during 2015-16 i was operating another two accounts under the same scheme with the same showroom. While submitting the cheque, once, i wrote "titan company ltd" as payee. The executive objected to my use of abbreviated form of ltd. He insisted that the abbreviated form is against your company`s policy, and that i should write "limited" in full. As you know, "ltd" is a universally accepted expression of limited. Besides, i find in your own rubber stamp (Affixed on the pass book issued under gh scheme) company`s name is written as "titan company ltd".
                      In such a circumstance how your executive can object to accept a cheque with ltd as payee`s name? Was he exhibiting his ignorance or testing my educational qualification? For your kind info. I m a chartered accountant, qualified in 1971, and till 2011, an associate member of the instt. Of cas.

                      Kindly enquire into the matter.

                      It is appreciated if your high office will advise your employees not to raise senseless objections as above. Such senseless employees are a disgrace to the high reputation of tatas.

                        Respected titan board of members and the concerned managers. Just think about the issue which is faced by me in your titan showroom and service center, titan arena, a. M road, kothamangalam-686691-i purchased titan zoop on 14/08/17 and loop of the strap got damaged in the first use itself, will the titan watches company provide the spare parts for the existing customers?. The way they respond is not customer friendly in the showroom and service centre, titan arena, kothamangalam, kerala-india. Showroom staff simply says they don't provide any spare parts and no help to get the parts, if that is the case the titan watch is a use and throw watch.

                          I bought the titan ceramic watch for 10k just a two ago. Accidentally 1st clip of belt was broke. I asked the service center regarding the strap but they said i have to change the whole belt costing half the price of that watch i. E. 5k, just for 1 clip. I request you to provide the clip for the ceramic strap as early as possible. Its very frustrating to get this kind of service. I also sent mail to customer care but after automated reply i didn't get anything. Please kindly look into this matter.

                            Hi, titan.

                            I have purchased this watch 12 months back from titan store in indiranagar bangalore, after some usage, watch strap broke into pieces, and when i went to the titan service centre, they said titan has manufacturing this watch strap, no stock every time, when ever i visited.

                            What i have to do now with this watch. The strap didn't even match up with any simple kind of watch, and i have spent more than 6000 inr on this.

                              The staff at tanishq jamnagar showroom is irresponsible towards customer care. They just lure the public to join in the monthly schemes, etc. By fooling the public by giving false information of benefits. Later, during the maturity of the schemes, the benefit is almost zero or negligible. Also, after receipt of payments / cheque clearances, they don't even bother to inform the customer to get the material collected.

                                I wish to inform that i have approach the thiru associates, world of titan, 12 g kma complex, ram nagar, by pass road, madurai 625016, ph[protected] on 06/08/2017 to replace battery for my watch. They have charged a sum of rs.60 for the cost of battery with relvant tax, in addition to that they raised a sum of rs.250 (With service tax) towards labour charges. I had asked to repalce battery only. They would not told me any thing about this transaction and right rayally claimed a sum of rs.355 towards replacement of battery

                                Hi

                                I visited world of Titan in Kalakaar street Kolkata West Bengal, to get my watch battery replaced.
                                The battery charge is rupees 60 but the labour charges were 295. Which was not informed initially. I was charged rupees 350 for getting a battery replaced which is just 60 rupees.
                                I would like to understand this and a possible refund amount.

                                    Got 1 pair of spectacles made from Bangalore Whitefield branch last year. Upon receiving them i was not comfortable with the lenses. I informed the guys in the shop about the issue, they asked me to wear it for some weeks and said that "wear it for a few weeks your eyes will adjust". But, this did not happen. Upon checking with my doctor, due to unclear vision, he told me that the centeration is wrong. The glasses were not made correctly. (Note- I have very high power so centeration is very important, you should be knowing this, being a spectacle company)

                                    Then i went back to the shop, but they told me they cant do anything now as many weeks have passed. Nice trick i must say. So I have been using them only. I got my power checked last month (June 17) and found that my power has increased. This was very surprising as my power has been constant for almost 5 years. (MAYBE DUE TO WEARING WRONG SPECS, I Blame you Titan Eye guys for this)

                                    Inspite of my bad experience last time, I still went to get Titan Eye Plus store to get a new pair made, this was my mistake.

                                    I gave my new specs to be made at one of your Mumbai branches. They got it made in 2 days. But there was a unique problem this time. Never in my 20 years of wearing specs has this problem occurred. the lens was sitting outside the frame. The cutting was horrible. This finishing was horrendous. When i informed the lady in the store, she tried to convince me that everything is correct. What gall she had, to tell me that such a badly cut lens was acceptable. But eventually, she admitted the mistake and agreed to get it made once more.

                                    Now the waiting period begins, it almost took 1 week for them to make my specs ready. This time upon inspection, I find that the shape of the frame is tampered with, there is a very evident gap between the arms of the specs and the frame. I have pics i[censored] want. Then again she tried to give some explanations that it is ok and what not. She says it was there from before, etc etc. Really pathetic service, seriously. The whole look and feel of the frame were destroyed.

                                    Really dissatisfied with your service. Pathetic.
