I have bought a new ETOS diesel on[protected] from Infinium Toyota at Rajkot, front shockers and suspension are not at all good.
when it crosses a speed braker or goes into the pot holes they make hell lot of noise because of body touches the road which is not at all ok as compared to other vehicles i am using for the last so many years.

    Days are not far when public wont like TOYOTA

    I have a car Corolla Altis (diesel) of Toyoto company. My car no. is MP 09 LG 5000. I take regular services from Rajpal Toyota, Indore, M.P. India. My car mostly runs on highway. Past 70 to 75 days there was 2 major problem in my car : (1) suddenly when car runs coolent finishes and temperature increases (2) in morning car takes many selfs to get start. Because of these problems I send my car to Rajpal Toyota, Indore. They checked the leakage problem and gave my car immediately. They told me,”If there will be some leakage it will stop and we have tightened all the nuts and bolts.” I brought my car home and after 8 days when my car ran again on highway I faced those same problem and very difficultly I brought my car at home. Then I informed at Rajpal Toyota. After 2days they sent 2 persons from there workshop at home, they checked my car for an hour and told me,” This car should be taken to workshop and checked.” I gave my car to them, till 6 days they were checking my car and they told me, “We are followed with Toyota and according to Toyota’s guideline we will work.” They also told me that,”All work of your car will be in warranty and you don’t get worried.” They gave me assurance. Giving the reason of checking the car one by one they opened the engine and all the parts of car without knowing me and told me that we are doing all these with the permission of Toyota. After opening all the parts they told your services are not taken on time, TOYOTA WILL NOT GIVE ANY CLAIM. After all these matter I talked with G.M. of Rajpal Toyota, he told “After opening of all the parts there will be expenses of Rs 75000/- to Rs.125000/-.” Before this I already got the estimate of Rs 20000/- from company workers.
    I am feeling these people fooled me.
    I know that my car was having stomach pain and these people opened heart and did surgery of it
    Seeing this condition and estimate of my car I thought to get it repaired and sell it of. Now, my world’s no.1 car company Toyota has lost my faith. Almost after 20 days they gave me my car. If they don’t want to give the warranty then why they fooled me till 10 days, between these days they opened my car’s engine fully and all parts totally. This warranty’s matter could have been told to me within maximum 24 hours. Till one day before they assured me that Toyota will discount me 50% of the goodwill. I will fight with Toyota for this. When bill was made of Rs. 23500/- after arguing a lot they made a bill of Rs. 17713/- and I gave them full payment. They assured me totally that they checked each and every part of my car before delivering it to me.
    The very next day I traveled with my car and went 200 kms. It was standing whole night. After standing whole night next day my car didn’t got started. I called from there to Rajpal Toyota and talked with service engineer and with his coordination I followed him till 6hrs and my car get started. After 25 kms car travelled the coolent was finished and temperature was increased.
    Now tell me world’s no. 1 company Toyota failed in heart operation of my car OR still it can do something . What should I believe that my faith is lost or I can gain my faith again
    If you think Toyota can gain the faith, so repair my car in free of cost and refund my amount of Rs. 17713/-
    Telling you again “ Because of earning some money from customer these greedy persons are harming us.” Take some strict steps towards this.

        Battery Problem

        I own an ETIOS SEDAN and the battery is discharged if its not used for about 20-25 days. I have to get the battery charged from the service center every time i come from outstation. When i complained to the service center they told me that i must have left the lights on, which was not the case. Initially i didn't take a note of this but now when this has become a recurring problem, i spoke to the Breakdown service guy of DSK Toyota and...

        I am Biju George, I use a Toyota Innova . I had an unique incident last day. A dog bit all wiring kit and fluid pipes from under the hood of ma car. I couldn't start the vehicle or do anything on it. The Toyota mobile service team came down to my place and towed away the vehicle. They asked me to file an insurance claim and they shall follow up. I did so the very next moment and returned home. They called up in an hour or so and gave me the estimate price of all parts as 80,000. I never got any call from them since last 8 days. I thought they had been working on my car. When i called up the concerned person, i got a reply that my insurance was rejected. I was never informed about it. I went to the service center to ask about this. They told that its not their duty. They themselves said that they shall inform me about insurance. After all this i told them that i am taking my vehicle out and giving it for service in my friends garage. The next second they called up manager and they came to meet me. They started forcing me to service the vehicle there and they can give a slight discount. I disagreed to that , then they said they can give it for nearly 35 to 40 thousand. How can the vehicle part's price which he told few days ago go so low in just 8 days. ? that too half the price ! I questioned them about this and the answer they gave was that they are a reputed company. I just asked them to allow me to take my vehicle back. They told they cant leave my vehicle until I pay 8 days over-night parking fee. They never informed me about anything and for their memory loss, they are asking me to pay fine. I had a tough time to release my vehicle from there. I asked for the price outside and it is just one third of their first quote. Be really careful with NANDI TOYOTA service, BOMMANAHALLI, BANGALORE. They always charge like this.
        Nandi toyota is one of the worst service oriented company, they are only into money and they donot give better service, Whoever buys a vehicle at nandi toyota should remember that they have a very bad service. After paying thousands of money for service thaat they charged me, They have still not resolved many problems of my vehicle.

              This is to bring to your knowledge the pathetic service which is being offered by Globe Toyota at Mohali.
              1. My vehicle met with an accident and was given to agency on 17 Dec, 2012
              2. I was committed verbally that I will be returned it on 30 Dec.
              3. To my surprise, the first survey message was sent 3 days later on 20Dec at 2.23 pm. Haah...what a "QUICK" service.....
              4. I assumed that my vehicle is getting repaired only till 28 Dec, when I called them ( [protected]- Body shop Manager) to check the progress myself( no one had ever called me in between...Totally non transparent approach) and I was told that the vehicle was with denting department and will be handed to Paint on 2 Jan...which means I will not get the vehicle in time as was committed to me. He said he is clueless as he was 'SURPRISED" that how 30th was committed and was supposed to call back...but till now he has not called me back to confirm the status. Meanwhile, I had conversation with customer care at [protected] thrice between 2.30 pm to 3.00 pm, but I was not given a reply. I got an UNPROFESSIONAL reply saying' you have full right to complaint, you may take the vehicle back the way you want it. No one is perfect in this world" So the Idea of "QUICK" is totally void.
              5. The appointment sheet handed to me on 17th is attached herewith....you can see how "QUALIFIED" your staff is by having a look at the sheet and the way it has been filled. Then I was called back by [protected] and he refused of making any such commitment of handing away the car on 30th Dec. Then I was called by Insurance company( [protected]) to submit DDR which was not told to me initially, saying that work is being delayed because of me.

              The agency is playing with their own words and I am being harassed now.
              6. No one is there to call back a customer and explain what is being done to my car.
              7. "QUALITY" as you guys say....is a big big issue and the same has been highlighted twice earlier. In my last work being done by the agency, ABS light was permanently ON and there was lot of noise from the car bottom. Paint which was done can be checked on curve of Right wheel and inside edge of door.
              I had such a bad experience last time also when I had to wait for extra 4 days than committed time frame.

              Who will bear the expenses I am paying for taxi for these extra days.

              Please understand that I bought Toyota Car because its a MN brand. I have encouraged my friends and relatives to buy from you because of your commitment of so called "Q-SERVICE", which is nothing but a lie.
              Such kind of pathetic service is not expected from you.

              I am feeling sorry for those guys and for myself...for buying car from such a pathetic company.

                Sub: Customer Grievance : TOYOTA FORTUNER bearing registration No HR26BJ 9276, Chasis No MBJ11JV[protected] and Engine No 1KD6739518 purchased from MGF TOYOTA

                I had purchased TOYOTA FORTUNER bearing registration No HR26BJ 9276, Chasis No MBJ11JV[protected] and Engine No 1KD6739518 from MGF TOYOTA (Capital Vehicles Sales Limited), Gurgaon on 5th May, 2011 vide invoice no A[protected].

                In the very first month of my purchase I noticed a PULSATING / WOBBLING EFFECT while applying the brakes at high speed. This problem was brought to the notice of dealer MGF TOYOTA (Capital Vehicles Sales Limited) and vehicle was given in the work-shop for attending to this complaint. Post-servicing there was some improvement but the problem again re-surfaced recently.

                This week (on 22.11.12) the vehicle again taken to the work-shop of the dealer MGF TOYOTA (Capital Vehicles Sales Limited) and to my surprise I was told that the front brake discs need to be turned/ skimmed.

                This has come to me as a surprise as my vehicle is single owner driven, immaculately maintained and has done little over 16000 Km only. During such a short period of running necessity for turning/skimming of brake discs should not have happened. In any case, if this is necessary then definitely this is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT, which must have been noticed in the first instance itself when the vehicle was taken to the workshop with the same complaint in the first month of the purchase, but the fact was suppressed. I’ll not be surprised if after turning/skimming, I’ll be told that now the brake shoe needs replacement.

                I did not endorse the “trial and error” approach for remedy of this problem and definitely not at the cost of turning/skimming of original brake discs. Instead, I would like this problem to be properly investigated by technically competent person and proper remedy provided under WARRANTY.

                On 3.12.12, MGF Toyota, Gurgaon temporarily attended to the problem in brakes by skimming of the brake discs. My concern still remains as to why this had to happen 'twice' within 17000 Km of running. Moreover this problem was first reported within one month of vehicle purchase and was temporarily resolved to resurface again after one year. This therefore doesnot give me full comfort and in my considered opinion this is definitely leading me to believe that it is a product 'manufacturing defect'. I'm sure pitting-falling on disc would have had its impact on the surface of the brake shoe. I'll therefore not be surprised if next time there will be issue related to brake shoe as disc-shoe work in combination.

                I had therefore requested for replacement for brake disc and shoe assembly under warranty as a permanent resolution of the complaint.

                However in the last three weeks I have not heard anything from the company inspite of my repeated follow-ups.

                In absence of satisfactory service, I’m forced to escalate this complaint at your level and hope to get a proper remedy/solution.

                  Friend, please do not buy a Toyato Innova, the car has a major problem with its fuel pump. Do not get duped by the cheap minded Dealers and car manufactures, who just want to make profits by cheating innocent customers. Especially avoid HARSHA MOTORS, Guindy, Chennai. The worst and “professionals”.

                  I am very disappointed and disgusted by the manner in which the employees of Harsha Motors, Guindy Tamil Nadu, dealers of Toyota Cars responded to a fault in my Toyota Innova.
                  Let me explain the WORST experience from your so called “esteemed company”. I had purchased a Toyota Innova (TN 09 BD 6120) from Harsha Motors, Guindy, Chennai on 28th of May 2010.
                  On the 14th of December 2012, my car did not start and I called Harsha Motors, Guindy and told them about the problem. My car was taken to the service center and I was informed that the problem was probably due rodents biting of the wires and I asked them to goahead and get it fixed. Then, the next day I get a call from the Service people and he tells me that it was due to diesel contamination leading to fuel pump failure and we were asked to make a payment of Rs.90,000 to get it replaced.
                  My car is under manufacturing warranty which is for 3 years or 1 Lakh kilometer whichever is early. My car has done only 33,000 kilometers and its well within 3 years of purchase. My car has gone for regular services to Harsha Motors Guindy and well maintained by me.
                  The service engineers Mr. Anand and Mr. Kirshana Kumar at Harsha Motors Guindy were very unprofessional and arrogant with their reply. Probably the worst service engineers to provide professional customer service for a world class car manufacturer.
                  I don’t know how on earth that these people have come to a conclusion that the problem is only due to diesel contamination. If that’s the case then all the cars in the city should change the fuel pump every year. Fuel pump failure can be due to lots of reasons, including improper calibration.
                  When we purchase a car the sales people give us false information and lie to us about the manufacturing warranty and we trust them and purchase the car your thinking that we will benefit from the warrenty. But when we encounter a problem which is well within the warranty cover you cook up such stories to avoid replacing the parts. If I had known that Harsha Motors, Guindy had such cheap tricks up their sleeves to cheat customers, I would have never purchased a car from them. If you are not able to replace certain parts please tell us before purchasing the car. Do not lie and cheat the customers.
                  I had always believed that Toyota Motors is one of the best car manufacturers in the World, but what worries me is that if they have such unprofessional dealers representing them, then I am afraid that you will be losing out in this competitive market. I am very disappointed and regret buying a Toyota car. I will never suggest your car to any of my friends nor relatives.

                      I, JAMSEENA bought a on 8/10/12.from VPK MOTORS CALICUT and now I found a complaint to its front suspension (both left and right side). Actually the thing is that a noise from shock.And one more is about AC.while we use AC ,its operating mode is not working as properly. For example if we use the Face Mode,its effect is getting to leg also.
                      I reported this complaint to my dealer on two more times but they said “it is a common complaint to ETIOS”.
                      I hope you will rectify my problem soon.

                      I got a call from Bangalore Toyota on12/11/12, they said your problem solve with in 24 hours. but still i didnt get any solution from Toyota. so i called to our near service dealer they said they are helpless. Because they want get any solutions from Toyota.

                      Hello this my last conformation email to toyota kirloskar, Actually i sent two email to you still i did'nt get any solution for that problems. Now i found another problem. While i apply brake normally always hearing noice from rear side, So i reported to the dealer in 12000Km. Then they did some works in rear brake shoo grainting or something then its ok. after 2000Km i found the same problem. Then they did some works in rear brake spring tension adjusted but after 200Km i found same problem. before 5 days ago i went to the dealer they said we dont have another solution for this problem so when we get any solution we will inform to me. when i found this problem first time i went to the dealer they said if this problem find again we will change the rear brake kit. but after i found the problem i asked them bfore did u said me if find this problem again we will change that brake kit . that time they said we dont have stock and we changed that kit for one more customers but still it is in observation

                      So i will wait maximum 1 working days, next Monday i will go to the consumer court.

                      I hope you will rectify my problem soon. and get me replay via email ok.

                        I am Hemendra Singh from Ajmer, I have booked an toyota corolla altis(hn pearl white) on 12/11/2012, at the time of booking i was told they will deliver the car on 13/11/2012 but they did not. Then they told me they will deliver on 23/11/2012 again they did not delivered the car, after that 2 more dates were given to me but they did not delivered the car. Dealer always reply that company do no give new orders till the existing stock is not sold because the dealer have 2 cars in stock which is not my choice. Now they are not picking up my calls, even i spoke to the GM even he is not answering the calls. I have lost all the diwali offers given by other brands. Please help me with this. If a brand like toyota can do this, then i suggest people should stop buying their cars.

                          Based on performa invoice and confirmation received on mail from M/s Millennium Toyota , Arpanna Motors Pvt Ltd, Mira Road Thane, for supply of Toyota Altis Petrol version, I had given confirmation to my financers M/s Sundaram Finance Limited to go ahead and release cheque of agreed amount on name of M/s Millennium Toyota , Arpanna Motors Pvt Ltd. Based on that M/s Sundaram got into agreement and paid franking charges of Rs 5395/-.

                          Now at last moment M/s Millennium went back on their words and said car is not avaiable and infact they also taken papers of my existing car which was suppose to get exchange.

                          Issue is Sundaram finance is asking refund of Rs 5395 as car is not delivered which I have to pay and M/s Millenium is refusing to refund the same, saying there was no confirmation given. I feel this is absolutely mistake of M/s Millenium and I am ready to take a car as per agreed price or refund the stamping charges.


                          Pl. help in sorting out the problem.

                            I am victim of poor services & harassment from dealer of toyota. I have bought etioso from castle toyota hoshiarpur. After waiting of 3 months im following up for registration of the car but unfortunately people handling the branch are incompetent to revert. Its their normal approach not to attend calls on phone. despite of sevral calls even to the helpline they are unable to update on the same. more over entire team not willing to share the detail of owner of the dealership and company manager.

                            I Have lost all hope and im sure Traffic Police soon detain the vehicle.

                            if possible pls help and support to get thee same

                              I bought a Toyota Liva From Galaxy Toyota , G-6 Vasant Square Mall Plot A Sector B, Pocket 5 Comunity Centre Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070 on 12th Nov 2012
                              1.Poor Quality Shockers


                              After a week of driving around I asked the person who sold the car to me Mr Tofique Khan that the shockers of the car we no good as bottom of the car touches ground once we go over speed breakers or bumps.He advised me that on the first service the will check.

                              In the first service today I was taken for a test drive and told by the person who was conducting the test drive that the shocker problem is inherent problem of with this car.

                              After that I call the person who sold the car to me and he advised that he will discuss the matter with Mr Harsh the service incharge at B243 Okhla Phase one.


                              After I gave the car for srevice which was to be delivered back to me in 2 hrs the same would be delevred to me by 3.00 PM. I feel you don value other peoples time

                              However I got a call from Mr Harsh once I took a auto rickshaw back home and he told me that they would replace the shockers free. This is not the issue the issue is why do you use bad shockers in a car or your QC is currupt.

                              As the shockers go bad just after I have driven the car 853 Kms.

                              The service manager was smiling of the opeion I am Unluck.

                              I told him that after spending so much I have to cry like this I pray to God that one day same thing should happen with him and then he would understand what is my plight.

                              This a shameful way to treat your customers or this is the way Toyata treets its customers

                              I told him that it tend amount to cheating and rule of law still prevails in India.

                              Gear Shift:

                              The gear shift system of the car is as hard as that of a Truck. I discussed this issue with your service adviser. It seems this is also a Inherent issue in the car.

                              When you put reverse gear and reverse and move forward and then put the gears fast ( required during parking in Delhi) the car goes to reverse gear instead of going forward.

                              What I mean to say why do you cheat customers like this or you are also currupt
                              The seats
                              The seats of the car are so bad that when you sit on them for 1 hrs and your back starts hurting
                              I have also registered a complaint with the customer care Complaint No DCM[protected] but the also dont hear they say that they will talk to their seniors when I asked there seniors number & address they dont have
                              I think only God can only help me

                                dear sir i met with an accident on 9th nov when my driver was driving toyota fortuner the air bags did not open as the vehicle took 4 - 5 turnes the belt which driver n i was wearing tore , driver passed away while taking to hospital . my vehicle still stand on gurrenty/warranty period of 3 years , i had ny vehicle serviced also at that service brake pads were changed n all service was done costing me around 17000 rs, how do i proceed fr here i want to put a crimnal case agaionst the persons concerned. pls advice

                                  A NOISE HAS BEEN COMING FROM MY ETIOS REGD NO UP 16 AE 5758 LEFT REAR AS AND WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. UTTAM TYOTA. CAR HAS BEEN TO UTTAM TYOTA FOUR OR FIVE TIMES BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECTIFY THE DEFECT INSPITE OF ALL EFFORTS.
                                  REQUEST IF SOME PART IS REQUIRED TO BE CHANGED THEY MUST DO ASAP,THE CAR IS IN WARRANTY.

                                    I too face the same problem in front suspension of the Etios car bought in Oct-2012. When going on rural roads the vibration or shock is transformed to the body which is well realised. I reported to Toyota and they in turn asked their dealer Anamalais, Coimbatore dealer to look into this matter. I have sent the vehicle to Anamalais, Coimbatore a couple of days back. They identified the problem in a test drive. They have made some trials but could not solve it. They informed me that they will inform TKM (Toyota Kirloskar Motors) and will get the feedback. The problem is still existing. For my opinion the problem is in the design of the Suspension. Totally, I am disappointed with the suspension problem
                                    I have informed some of my friends, who were looking to buy a new car, about this problem and had asked them to wait if Toyota rectifies it or go for some other vehicle.
                                    They are selling their cars in our country only by the brand value by compromising the quality. They will not succeed in long run and will lose a big market until they realise that Indians will not compromise in quality.
