The concerned trip took place on 14th of july at 11:25 pm, it was tata indigo, driver name is pratap singh (Trip from sector 29_ dharam colony gurugram), i was little dizzy at the time of deboarding the cab, i am doubting on the driver, that he is not willing to return my phone back, i am 1000% sure that phone was left on my seat, i get contacted to uber support since then, as he was not responding back, the number attached tp the ride claims he is not the driver, he is not pratap, rather he works for him, i spoke with thrice, but he just tells me i dont have drivers number i keep trying to the same number, after the last call when i contronted him with proofs which i have, he has stopped answering my phone, he is disconnecting calls too, may be he knows that the driver is wrong, and he stole my phone, i have a few proofs i can prove that the driver kept my phone woth him, please help me getting my phone back, else i will go to police today or file case against you, uber india, as this is not tolerable now, my phone details are as follow;
Apple iphone 6, space grey, tiny scratches on the glass, black cover, has a back holder on it

    Hi all,

    I have logged a complaint to uber help many times over last couple of weeks on the same trip but have not received any response neither they have given me refund and even after asking for senior from pradeep (One o[censored]ber rep) he didn't arrange a call and it's been frustrating that no one there to help if i pay the money cash they are not even addressing the issue. I want to escalate this matter and now need rebusrsment for the fake details provided on the call i have recording and all the receipts with me. Need immediate action.

      I have been facing the same issue everyday. The first ride that i am booking daily is getting canceled because o[censored]nprofessional drivers. They want destinations to be as per their conveniences and if they don't wish to go to my destination, they stop receiving calls. Ultimately i have to cancel the trip and then book another cab. This is happening almost everyday resulting into my delayed logins. This is something which is really annoying. Kindly look into this matter asap. Otherwise i might have to take legal help. Pfa of the details of one of such drivers.

        Me, my mother and my mother in law met an accident due to driver mistake and in that accident my mother got her legs fractured and my mother in law got her hands fractured. We came to know that the driver who was driving the car was not having any driving licence. We made serveral calls to uber and registered our complain that as the driver not having the driving license, we are not able to get the insuranc amount. We tried reaching for help to uber but they are not taking any responsibility. I have the fir number and details of the driver. I have to pay around 2 lakh and still my mom is not able to walk properly. My mom has lots of dependencies in the family. If driver is not having the licence then why the driver was allowed to take our trip. I need the money which i spent in the operation and medicines. Uber has to take the resposibility. I reached higher management also but uber just ignored our request. Uber license should be cancelled. Even i was carrying when that accident happened, the accident happened in january 2018. Still not ablle to understand why uber is not taking resposibility

        Please help me and get uber take the resposibility as they have sent the driver not having the driver license.

        The accident happened on the way to airport near hebbal around 4 am morning.

          not accepting payment in card and lack of support from customer care

          I have used Uber in US without any complaint. If there was a minor issue, it was solved very quickly by the customer care.
          In India, I am just shocked and disappointed by the sheer difference in service and customer care. First off, I added a new form of payment by an amex card.           Dear sir,

          Please note, my telephone number is [protected]. I travelled by uber taxi on 6th august 2018 from ambattur estate (Express gardens) to vm street royapetta. The estimated trip amount was shown as rs.234/- while booking the taxi. At the completion of journey driver was demanding rs.461/-. I had given him rs.250/- and said that there was no outstanding balance with uber. There is no scope for overcharging as there was no surge on that date.

          Driver was very arrogant but accepted rs.250/-.

          When i am trying to book uber subsequently, you are showing outstanding amount of around rs.430/-.

          I am surprised where is the scope for any outstanding when passengers pay cash to the driver after completion of journey., is it possible for any person to go without paying after completing the journey? Please introduce a mechanism of informing passenger if any outstanding is created due to non-payment so that they can inform you if the drivers do not inform you about receipt of payment.in this case it has happened so.

          There seems to be some malpractice in driver's not reporting about acceptance of cash.

          I am from press industry holding a reputable post. I have always been settling the payments promptly at the time of completion. May be some extra amount for drivers as tips if they do the journey well.

          Please explain to me how the outstanding amount of rs.430/- your system indicates. Though this is a small amount, but i take exception in treating me as a outstanding holder and the way the driver acted on 6.8.2018 was unbecoming. I simply paid him rs.250/- and ignored his filthy comments.

            Trip booked when charge was rs.79, but i was charged rs.89 when the trip ended.

            This is plane cheating when neither my pick-up nor drop location had changed during the trip.

            Customer care has only sent standard responses and noone has really cared to call or write to me to understand the issue

            Need compensation of not resolving the issue on the same day for an amount no less that rs 10, 000

              Oday on of your taxi driver (Mr. Shankar) driving your uber taxi (Owner by uber) reg no. Ts07 uc5282) hit my vehicle renault kwid (Mh16 bhxxxx) at madhapur, hyderbad, telangana.

              This is to bring it to your notice that the driver was driving very fast and could not brake the vehicle at the crossing and hit my vehicle badly. I have suffered a lot of damage and claim for compensation for the damage caused by your vehicle.

              The driver is not a trained driver and even the passengers are a proof of the rash driving done by the driver. The passenger have also logged a complain. I need your team to investigate and please connect with me. I will be also writing to the transport ministry of telangana and the central ministry as the amount of taxi are increased is creating a nuisance of such rash drivers being hired by uber and causing multiple action. I am attaching the complain and images of the damage done.

              I want your team to work on it. I will be putting a copy of the total expenses incurred by the accident tomorrow and i want action to this mail with immediate response.
              This accident is the responsibility of the driver and the vehicle owner and it need to be dealt with it.

                I had travelled from New Academic Buiding, Jalukbari to Parlay Oak, Parag Das Path on 9th August 2018 at around 4-30 pm. The fare was Rs. 267, and I paid the driver Rs 500/-. . He gave me the change of Rs. 233, which comprised of a 200 rupee note which was fake.

                Later when I discovered the fake note, I called the driver but he did not pick up the phone, which meant that he intentionally passed on the fake note.

                The driver was Pulen driiving a Wagon R and phone no. is [protected].

                Please help me track the driver and get him penalised.

                It's become an often issue for the drivers to keep cancelling the trip. If that's the case then what's the use of trying to get a trip. I had to search for an alternative solution to travel since two drives cancelled on me at 4 in the morning.

                  I have book ride from on date 09/08/18 Hind nager to Neera nursing home Mahanager Lucknow . at 18.48 min, at 19.23 min cancelled ride because .that cab did not reach on picup Location till 19.23 . I have made 3 call to Driver Anil Pal on his no[protected], he was saying i am finding place but as per GPS report his taxi was not movement . . After waiting around 25 min cancelled my ride . Please return my cancellation fee.

                    I had a trip from aryan residency, greater noida to taurus boys hostel delhi cantt by uber pool at around 1600 hrs today, initially amount shown is rs 484/- for 2 passengers but the end of journey driver taken rs-611.92/- as shown on the screen. Even driver could reach the right destination but left us half a kilometre away from the destination.
                    Do needful for the excess amount taken by uber company.

                      I booked uber cab from saket court to defence colony, new delhi at 12.57 pm. Driver gaurav despite repeated requests did not reach the main gate which was the location for pick up and continued to station himself at his desired location. Subsequently he himself cancelled the trip and i was levied the cancellation charges without any justification. I do not agree with the said arbitrary and illegal action o[censored]njust cancellation charges because i kept on waiting for the cab to reach on location but the driver instead of reaching the location cancelled the trip resulting in this penalty. I request the company to reverse the said entry of illegal charges and punish the driver who otherwise will be encouraged to adopt many more such unhealthy commercial practices. Please note if the company fails to take any action against the said driver, i will be constrained to write on media about such bad experiences.

                      I am from Bangalore, Whitefield. The availability o[censored]BER autos in this area is very less. And also non of the drivers come for a short distance of about 2-3kms. My trips have been cancelled many a times by the drivers themselves for the short distance.

                        I requested for your car in the morning today at about 7=45am. The car did not report. I could not establish contact with him.
                        Subsequently, i availed of a second car after re-booking. I was charged a cancellation charge of about rs. 47.00, which i had to pay due to no fault on my part. I did not cancel the first requisition. The car did not report.

                        Please check and do the needful.

                          I have made a request for uber, uber car has hired for me, driver has taken the trip and asked for the location, i about to explain he has cut the phone call again he called back i said please take the person number who is coming in that cab, he refused to take that number and rejected the phone call, again he called back and started abusing with vulgar language and threatened me to cancel the trip, i refused he started abused language and started shouting.

                          Hope you take necessary action on the drivers misbehavior.

                            Today morning as usual i tried for uberpool (I'm a regular user) from my home in nangallur to office in navallur. The fare was in surge at 9.30 it showed 340 so i logged from home and took office call. Later at 9:50 the fare was 220 so i booked. The driver came from airport with another pool user to my location. When i alighted he asked me the fare, destination and mode of payment. When i said 220 for navalur, card payment he cancelled the booking and started the jourey he asked me to change the payment mode when i tried i noticed it said driver cancelled. Then he asked me reestimate and pay the amount in cash in stead of booking. I said the reestimate is 360 so i will alinght and work from home. I should have done that because after going some distance from my home he said give me 300 i will drop to your office. I shoould have got down but my fate i took the journey and all along thinking what a fool i am. It's a big learning for me in life. Now this driver got another booking near 200 feet road and he did the same thing with the couple going to kamakshi hospital. After reaching their place on seeing them he cancelled the booking. Then went saying that since they didn't come on time he cancelled and went from their house to next street. Then from there he called them to check where they are going as they said kamatchi hospital he said i'm going on the same route so he will take them and pay on cash. After alighting he asked them to restimate, but the consumer was very strong and his destination is nearby so he didn't care to restimate and scolded him that he has cancellation fee of rs. 30 and his original estimate fare is 40 only so will pay only 10. Then the driver said the he did a big service by taking them so pay him 40 and take the cancellation with uber support. Then they did the same to avoid argument and went away. The journey continued and the first pool user alignted at sholinganallur. After dropping him he got 3 pool customer all going in the reverse direction to my drop point (If i had my booking it wouldn't have happened. That is my learning not to take ride without any booking at any cost). He took all 3 of them dropped them to their destinations and finally reached my destination navalur at 12:15pm. I asked him to stop in the opposite side of the road don't want to take any more chances. When i alighted i said i will pay rs.220 only the inital booking amount he said he never saw that amount as that is cancelled and i need to pay rs. 300. I said i will give rs. 300 but he needs to pay rs. 30 back (Driver cancellation fee) and also i will take your photo and complaint in the public forum. He said he doesn't care and hence this complaint. I'm doing this because i gave him a choice to reform but he didn't and he said he doesn't care about consumer feedback. It's a big learning to me and by spreading this information i think other consumers will be more careful when they encounter such an incident. The driver name is hemakumar, vechicle tata indigo tn 87 3070. Attaching his photos as well. Beware of this unprofessional driver!

                              I told him to cancellation but he was asking me to cancel

                                Hi Uber,
                                I have faced one issue while booking cab today.
                                I booked a share cab and the driver called immediately and asked me to cancel and when I didn't agree he cancelled the trip. After that I tried booking the cab again but didn't find any available cabs.
                                Later after 20 mints cab was booked by the I moved to another location.
                                But the driver way of replying was very rude he said that he would make me to never use the cabs any more in life. I request you to please take immediate action on him. He was not polite
                                Is this the way Uber encourages the drivers.

                                  I have been travelling in uberpool for an year they are charging prices according to their mind. They are cheating commuters by charging such high charges in uberpool driver are horrible no training they speak vulgar language and they don't on AC they don't maintain car neatly and Uber is charging price by providing the data based and demand and supply unfair. You can see the prices that they charge. Recently they have hired kholi for advertising and all they are penalize us by charging high amount. They have horrible service yet they charge high.                                     I had complained to Uber about excess charging toay on 6th August. When I was booking my ride, it showed amount of Rs 65.00 but when I was paying the driver said it is Rs 105.00. I was taken aback, there was no rush on the road no traffic and still the charges were double than the regular charges paid by me for the same distance( Rs 50 to 55being paid by me. It can be checked at your level.) Twice I complained and twice I got the same system generated reply.
                                    Is there no person to see the complaint of a genuine customer. I am very perturbed and will take this matter to the highest level and if needed even to the court.
                                    It is not the matter of money but how an organization can ignore the facts stated in the complaint. Please go through my complaint and adjust excess amount paid in the next trip.
