I have been using uber for more than a year now and i have never faced so much problem ever. Today in one day, i had two bad rides. I got charged twice today for no fault of mine. 1st time the driver filled with his app and after driving for 2 mins cut the trip. I was charged 50 rupees and i complained but no one has called me. The second time this evening one driver used rude and abusive words in the local language becoz he crossed the pickup location and went and when i asked him to come back he started abusing and started on trip. When i asked him how he has added on trip when i didnt take the cab at all. Hhe started abusing. This is pathetic. I want to sue you people.

    Dear uber india team,

    Good evening!

    I would like to highlight serious mistake o[censored]ber billing and worst customer assistance in case of need.

    Incident of my yesterday ride at evening where i got charged 3 times more in my billing and there after i am trying to contact uber customer service team to look into the billing and trip details but no one ready to listen my voice.

    First of all billing is false and it’s completely matter of cheat and fraud with customer - ie how come distance and time does not reflect kilometers and time but amount of bill.

    I am going to lodge complaints again entire uber team and will highlight to social media to educate the mass about this unethical business and money making by uber from customer.

    There are many mistake in bill and furthermore no one ready to talk or assist when trying to contact uber representatives.

      I have booked uber car on 10/04/2018 @ 9 pm for dropping my sisters from my home to rajajinagar metro station. But the cab driver has dropped in wrong location and went off. Since they are new to bangalore, they have faced lot of issues and problems in wrongly dropped place and also they were travelling back to native. Again they took 30 minutes to reach exact place and by the time bus has been missed.

        I purchased mumbai pass from uber wherein i am suppose to be charged flat rate of rs129 for uber go and rs.59 for uber pool anywhere in the map shared by uber which includes entire mumbai city anywhere. I trusted and purchased the pass assuming i am going to get flat rate whenever i take my uber ride. I have not got the flat rate anytime plus i am unethically charged even more than the fare shown to me at the time of booking my ride.
        E. G my todays fare for uber pool showed rs. 148 whereas it should have ideally been rs. 59 but end of the trip it showed me rs.208 to be paid which i was really shocked to know. I have written for all the trips to their help support section but they are not responding to me.
        I have received one response today which again is fooling and cheating me with in valid reason for closure i. E traffic jam and route change which is total lie and false reason as there has been no route change and i have been dropped on the destination which i had booked for. I am not getting my refund for the excess amount which has been charged by cheating me unethically

        I booked a cab from kandivali to asalpha yesterday for Rs 139. When the trip ended, in my phone it was still showing 139 but in driver's phone, it was showing 263.hence i had to pay 263 even if i booked the cab for 139. Kindy look.into this

          I just wanted to get home, it was hot out. I ordered an uber to ride home, driver (Balwinder) wanted to know where am i headed so i told him my destination then he asked me to wait for 2 minutes as he was on his way. I waited for 15 minutes and called him but he hung up on me.. I called twice, thrice, four times but he didn't answer, then i realized he canceled the trip.
          He made me wait for 15 minutes and then canceled the trip without asking me.
          I got a cancellation fee of inr 42 that showed up.
          I have also had trouble getting refunds for trips that didn't occur. They charge.... Start a trip without being pick up sucks because they will charge you no matter what.
          Besides there is no way to talk to any customer support on the phone
          This also means that you get the money you paid as unfair cancellation charge back only if you book another uber ride. If you don't then that money goes away.
          Penalising riders for something that a driver is doing it is particular troublesome in a country like india where cab drivers have a habit of refusing to go to a destination.

          I had to reorder the ride and he (Parmpal singh) called me to ask my destination, which is against uber policy, before canceling the trip. Although passengers can enter their destination in the uber app, that information is not transmitted to the driver until the passenger is picked up.
          Then again he refused to go to a destination.

          Real nice scam you guys got going. Never again will i use this service.

            Uber driver bipul (As25 bc9848) received my ride request on 10/04/2018 at around 5.40 pm but rudely refused to pickup me and asked me cancel the booking after knowing the destination just saying me that he is far away. But i didn't cancel the booking. Another driver called me next and similarly refused. The app, thereafter showed 4 different arriving cars/drivers one after another but none came even after 45 minutes. I lodged the issue through app and got the refund but my issue is not only with the fare but the attitude of such drivers for which riders get late and miss urgent programmes. I want such drivers to be fired and fined.

              Actual amount for my trip was 343.60 rupees (Including toll charge). Driver asked me to pay 384 rupees (Additionally he asked the toll charge). I showed him the bill summary from my mobile 343.60 includes toll charge. He didnt accepted and he started the car. I chased him in my bike and i told him "you are cheating". But he shouted at me and behaved terribly. I called him to police he followed me and he escaped in a small lane. Finally i give up my 40 rupees.
              40 rupees is not a big amount. But the way he behaved was really terrible. It hurts me more. I was totally disturbed by this event. I am traveling with uber more than couple of years. I had a worst experience with uber. Really a [censored] experience. Uber has to take care of this and should punish such drivers.

              Based on the action you guys are taking for this, ill depend uber for my future travel. Else, i will stop using uber. Also, i will post this in twitter.

              Hope you will take severe action for this.

                Mr shambunath over charged me, even though his meter showed 101.60.
                He insisted i pay him 172/-, the figure that was on my phone..
                He was quite rude, when i requested him to double check, he told me even a auto rickshaw fare is more than this amount, and he was very adamant and continued arguing, i had to leave for a meeting, hence i paid him 172/- and left.
                I would say this construed to daylight robbery...
                Please take action against him, so that he does not repeatt this with other passengers.

                  Hi!

                  Booked a cab on 8th apr from chennai jp hotel to airport at approx 9.45 a. M. The amount shown was rs 202 approx. Called drive rand he informed that he is reaching the pick up location and he enquired whether the payment is through cash or paytm. I have been making payments through paytm and he was informed accordingly. He asked me to cancel the ride and pay him in cash rs 250 as he realised i was in a hurry. Thereafter, he cancelled the booking and reached the pick up location. I had no option to look for an alternative because of the time constraint.
                  I took the cab, uber deducted rs 30 for whatever reasons from my paytm.
                  While in the journey to airport, i told driver that i will be complaining he asked me to get down from the cab. However, i did not argue further and i reached airport on time.
                  The quality of the car tata indica was also a major issue.
                  Please look into this as overall i had paid rs 78 (48+30).

                    Uber charged me twice for a trip i took on 3rd feb 2018. The payment was done first via upi option and the amount got deducted from my bank account. But it did not reflect in the app. I contacted the customer care multiple times but they did not fix the outstanding amount. I was forced to pay the same charge again as i had to book another cab 2 weeks later. For 2 weeks, the customer care team did nothing to resolve my issue. Then i started asking for refund of the 2nd payment i did for the same trip. After providing all proofs to them that my bank account has been deducted twice for the same trip, uber said that they have initiated refund and that i should check with my bank. Another 2 weeks passed and i went to my bank as i still did not receive the refund. My bank came back saying that uber's bank has not provided any inputs to them. With this information i went back to uber again (On 8th april 2018 - whole 2 months passed), but till now i haven't got any reply from uber. They are refusing to atleast answer my queries with a reply.

                      I had booked an uber to take me from ltt to my home in bandra. I booked it via my cc. Money got deducted and got a message too. Being habitual i still asked the driver post my trip if i am pending to pay anything as i am well aware how uber and ola works. To which he mentioned 'nothing'.
                      After 2-3 days when i went to book uber to someplace i had to go it showed me my last payment pending of the ltt trip. I was surprised for the same and i did not book uber since that day and was only using ola for bookings.

                      Yesterday since ola was not available i had to book uber and firstly had to pay my outstanding of inr 229. This is ridiculous.

                      I want my refund back of the same amount. As i shall not pay for same service twice.

                      I am sorry as i do not have the earlier message however i have the message of yesterday deduction

                      Rs.229.14 was spent on ur hdfcbank credit card ending 2143 on[protected]:18:21:48 at uber61701. Curr o/s - rs.347.14 (This o/s includes my last spend on uber)

                          Driver sunny came 2 pick my mother on 6.4.18. Cab ws booked through me on paytm as my mother is not thorough wth technology at the time of drop seeing simplicity of my mother he asked 4 cash she refused 2 pay & informd him that it is paid by paytm but he didnt let her go eventually we are charged 2times, need refund of 60 rs.                           No resolution is done on this. Such a shameful company trying cheat senior citizens of the country. People beware before booking cabs for your parents, grandparents or any elders. Their goon driver are going the harras them in public and Uber CEO - AMIT JAIN has no accountability. He is also involved with such drivers and filling his pockets with 50 - 60 rupees from Senior Citizen. Seem to be an act of a Beggar- Amit Jain. Hope your kids will enjoy these money

                            I met with an accident while going to mg road by my bike, i was stopped in the signal uber car hit back of the bike, i fell down and my right arm got injured and legs got scratched. My bike indicator got damaged and some scratches on my bike, my iphone 5 s display got broken.

                              Uber and it’s driver has charged twice for the toll. So i should get a refund of the extra amount. Uber, it is your driver who insisted me to pay the toll. Moreover he utilized the route to fill diesel and fill air by wasting our valuable time. Toll charge has been collected once through the final invoice and once i paid at each toll in cash as driver was insisting us. You may check with driver for confirmation. Thanks

                                Is totally unacceptable. The driver comes and asks for the fare dislayed for this trip. When i said the fare, he asked me to cancel the trip, when i denied. He said he will cancel it and left. Your service had jeoparadised my entire trip and left me with confusion. I was worried about whether i will be able to catch my flight on time. You have put my business in to trouble for trusting your service. I demand an apology from india operation on the un ruly behavior. An unsatistisfied/ horrified customer

                                  Today around 1.30 pm I booked Uber .The driver name is Channappa and his vehicle no KA04C9373.That driver came to our location and insisting us to cancel the trip and to book other vehicle and go, when we refuse to do, he was used vulgar language and abused and threating us that he is a roudy and how he can do anything and he doesn't care for anything and ultimately he cancelled the trip.Because of this type of driver I felt it is unsafe to travel in Uber.Kindly take necessary action against him.I am attaching his vehicle photo also.

                                    Hi, I am susmita, on 14th March 2018 Uber charged Rs72 extra from me. The expected fare was 39 and later on they charged Rs111from me.Many a times I complained against this. But the support message was not satisfactory. All the time they are giving me an invalid reason. They said I ended my trip away from my actually destination. But in actual the trip ended itself at the destination point as shown on the map. I just need my refund. Uber is just behaving worst with the customers. And even Uber doesn't posses a well maintained customer helpline. Such an unprofessional app it is.

                                        My name is debabani bhattacharya. Yesterday that is on 6.04.18 i booked uber from k2007, c. R. Park, delhi 110019 to trilokpuri rotary eye hospital. The amount to be paid was shown to be rs 216. But at the end of the trip the amount came out to be rs 468. I have taken the trip number of times in the past and never the amont was ober 230. When i asked for an explanation they said that toll has been added. But we did not cross any toll plaza in the way. And on my previous trips i never had to pay any toll so i would like to know why i had to pay the increased amount
