below are the contents of the letter send to Uber company by me. Please guide-
Dear Sir,
1. I had booked Uber Cab through Android App using Tapzo, on 19 November 2017 from Terminal 1D, New Delhi to Sector 21, NOIDA. The tentative cost of the trip was reflected as Rs 525/- against Sedan Category.
2. I then, received a confirmation on my mobile through SMS at 7.58 PM from RM-INDUBR that Mr Purshotam is arriving in a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire (DL1Z7596).
3. The trip was 24.96 Kms with a trip time of 00:53:45 minutes in a Sedan Vehicle. On completion of the trip, I was presented with a fare slip of Rs 525/- which reflected the trip details also (Copy attached)
4. As I proceeded to pay cash amount of Rs 525/- to Mr Purshotam, I was told that an extra amount of Rs 270/- is also required to be paid by me, the breakdown of which is as under (copy attached)-
(a) E-Receipt of Transport Dept, Uttar Pradesh for Tax Payment - Rs 120.00
(b) Delhi Airport Parking Services (P) Ltd Vehicle No. 7596 - Rs 150.00
5. I then paid the full amount of Rs 795/- as brought out in para 3 & 4 above.
6. On 19 Nov 17 at 08:54 PM, I received a detailed breakdown of bill from uber.[protected]@uber.com which also mentioned about the Fare as Rs 525/- and not Rs 795/- as paid by me. This also included CGST & SGST/UTGST.
7. In view of the above, it may please be clarified why I was made to pay an excess amount of Rs 270/- when it was not reflected anywhere in the App or messages received subsequently. If that be so, then I could have tried to take some alternate means of travel rather than preferring Uber Cab.
8. Further, if the same has been charged by some error then it is requested that the amount may please be refunded back to me.
