I had an uber trip from international bangalore aashram to prestige shantiniketan, whitefield, bangalore and i already paid via my debit card after the trip. The charges were 957.38 and this amount already got deducted from debit card. But uber says the payment was unsuccessful. I cannot book any other ride until this gets sorted out. Below is the message that i received after deduction-

"your debit card — has been used to make a purchase of rs. 957.38 at zes uber india systems ne on 19-aug-17."

I have complained to uber may times but nor do they provide any contact number and neither do they look at the issue. It has been approx two weeks now and uber is being highly irresponsible. I need uber to reslove this issue asap.

I have complained to uber many times but i don't hear from them. It's been more than 2 weeks but nor uber provides a customer care number to contact and neither they look into the issue. This is so frustrating to see that how irresponsibly uber is handling their customers. I need a solution for this asap.
There is still no update from Uber! Very careless behavior and have been overlooked since many days!

    I am a regular customer o[censored]ber india but on 22/08/2017 at 11.21 pm, i book uber cabby tapzo app, which vehicle no was ka19ab5498 and driver name was shreeshail. I booked uber xl because i was with my friend and all are girls that's why i booked xl but after booking cab i wait around 15 min but cab was not moving so called driver and he told i am sleeping i am not coming and abuse me and also told me why you people wandering at night. And uber advertise like "ese apni hi gadi smghe" is this a manner to talk with customer at night. I told please come 4 girls are with me and might its dangers but he just abusing me and cut the phone. So please solve my issue other i will go up label.

      I have been charged. Unnecessary cancellation charges by uber. My driver informed me that he is coming but he did not come I am waiting in pickup point properly. Driver never called second time.Then I have charged. When tried to report uber is removed" in correctly charged cancellation" option.😃. No customer care no notavailable if you make call you will be charged Rs 8 per call.😂. If you report it throuh help no proper discussion about issues. REASON: THIS CANCELLATION MONET MAX SHARE MAY GO TO UBER COMPANY. NOT TO DRIVER OR RIDER. BY THIS TIME MANY MAY BE CHARGED LINE THIS. OLA IS BEST BECAUSE OTP IS GIVEN TO RIDER SO NO UNNECESSARY CHARGES. This is genuine complaint.

        The driver didn't have his phone showing the routes and i think that hos gps was not even working as i had to tell him the routes. I think some thing with his phone went wrong and thus the trip route got changed showing some route different from which i have travelled. The estimated fare showed extreme surge which is not feasibly possible. I travelled to the same place in the same route and the estimated fare was what i had to pay. I want a prompt action to be taken and want refund of the fare which i had to pay extra.

          Yesterday at chennai at 10.53 there is a cancellation shown by the driver and i am charged rs.52.50/. I was waiting for the car and to my surprise he never turned up and later cancelled the trip. I had never requested the cancellation of this trip. I am a regular traveller in uber and i am surprised to see this happening in uber for the first time. Hence pl. Investigate and credit the amount deducted in my account. These type of incidents from the drivers affect the credibility o[censored]ber. Pl. Do the needful.

            I had booked a ride at Delhi for Harinagar but the driver did not know the place to pick me up. He was unable to trace my place( Hotel Raddision Marina, Connaught Place). I was getting late and booked another ride. To my surprise I am being charged this amount although the driver cancelled the ride. This was not expected from a company like yours.

            I may please be given refund.

            Still i didn't get any positive response from uber and I'm unable to book a ride. Kindly share the exclation matrix o[censored]ber, its full on customer hrashment.

            Hello sir
            I requested a UBER MOTO on 2 sep. 2017.I waited for more than 40 minutes but he didn't arrived and he didn't received my call .After a while a message popped up "Thanks for taking a ride"and asked for feedback. Please make clarification for this issue.

            I have already made a complaint against Uber. They are not ready to refund me my money which was collected fraudently. I request you to spread this message to all users so that no one else would suffer like me. When the actual rate was 49 then how can they charge more than that. They just make a fake message thag up to 5 km we only charge 49.
            I was charged Rs 630 for some unnecessary previous unsettled ride but as i can see i have already made all my payment and nothing was pending from my end.I need refund of 630

              Hi,

              I have lost my mobile 2 weeks back and i have been constantly writing to uber to let me start my mobile number on uber

              But instead of doing that, uber has even blocked my mobile phone when i tried using my old number whose password i am not able to retrieve.

              This is basically a kind of harassment which is being caused by your so called policy. I have written so many times to you. But nothing has been done till now.

              Every time uber send me your terms and condition letter., i dont want it, i resolve the issue or if they can deny the services to me on some basis.
              Not everyone can go through that long letter. You should have dedicated customer care if you are doing an public activity of transporting people. You are just running away from your responsibilities.

              I always used to travel by uber and because you have blocked my account and banned on my newly brought phone and its not right.

              The context is that i have been denied services because a mis - happening happened with me. I will further sue you in the court, because of mental harassment caused to me.

              It is the responsibility of the the company operating in public sphere to solve the problem of its customers. But you people dont have any call centre and even you are not solving any issue on email. You are trying to take business benefits from citizens of india by luring them into your services and then denying them access to their own account.

              I travelled in Tata Indica vehicle no- KA 41A 2814 on[protected] from Jayam shopping centre Malleswaram to 5th cross road sahakarnagar in evening the driver Chandra abused me and he is fully drunken and drop me off 1km before my drop off location and charged me full and abused me said that you give a complaint to uber.

                My name is nagendrababu and today 02/09/2017 i booked uber cab at around 8:20p. M. And noticed arriving in 6min... And he was calling where are you... I told to him.. Im here... But he was not came... But still showing arriving in 2min after 20min it was showing arriving in 1min... I was called him around 15to20min he is not responding... Im fullly dissopinted uber

                I was shown Rs.120 when I booked uber from infinity building, saltlake sec 5 to purbasha housing estate beside Bengal chemicals. When the driver dropped me it flashed RS. 161. I was surprised to see Rs 40 extra. This is wrong.

                    I had hire your uber taxi (RJ 14 TD 4778) driver name Lal Ram Choudhary ([protected])in jaipur from Vaishali nagar to chomu Pulia, its hardly 6 km. And bill was generate Rs1800 due to selection of wrong option (HIRE - HATCH). I Had paid him Rs100 as minimum bill. U can trace our location, and Please rectify the bill so this matter close and hope this will not repeat in future, as we are prime customer o[censored]ber.

                      This in reference to the trip for which i availed uber cab service, here are the trip details

                      Sunday 20/08/2017 at 3:47 pm

                      Tata indigo

                      Pick up - 89, old munsfi rd, bihari nagar, naya ganj, ghaziabad, uttar pradesh 210001, india (Pnb bank, navyug market, ghaziabad)

                      Destination - gaur global village, crossing republik, ghaziabad, u. P. 201016, india

                      However in the uber app, the destination was incorrectly showing up after trip completed, it is mentioned as following

                      Uber app destination adress6, sector 2a, vashundra, ghaziabad, uttar pradesh 201012, india

                      Due to this i was overly charged, the amount charged was rs 336.03, however it was initially estimating it to be
                      Around rs 140 at the time of booking.
                      Also note that my payment mode was paytm

                      I have reported this issue through help options in uber app three times immediately after the trip but i got no response yet.

                      Therefore i request hereby to look into this and refund me the extra amount charged incorrectly. Waiting for your response at the earliest.

                        I have booked uber but the driver did not reach the pickup location after about 20 minutes i called him and told him where he have to reach.

                        But after about 20 min he didnot picked my call. I called him many times but all were vane. I wait for him about 1 hour but your driver neither picked my call nor he reached.

                        When i checked uber app i saw that your driver had cancelled it.

                        Anyway i decided to get new cab but your company have charged me rs 42 for not getting ride. This is really something which is sad and disgusting.
                        There was of fault of your driver so why should i pay this amount. Company like uber should make should make some strict rules for their drivers.

                        I would like to bring this issue to your
                        Knowledge that there was the fault of driver who has not come. I donot know why the driver could not came to pick up location.

                        More over he didnot informed me about cancellation and.`

                          On 30 aug 17, i tried to book a cab and it showed pending payment.
                          I paid it through credit card. But it yet showed payment pending.
                          A couple of hours later, i again paid via paytm.

                          Then on checking the trip for which i was charged it does not show up in recent history.

                          Was charged inr 206.5 twice, for a fake trip generated by uber!

                          The customer support just sends template responses and mark the issue as resolved!
                          They are unable to provide the trip details for which i am being charged, that too twice!

                          Horrible service.
                          This is looting in broad day light.

                          I know atleast 2 other people who have experienced the same issue on the same day!

                          Imagine how many peple might have been cheated like this, who may not have even realised it.

                            Today ie on 01.09.2017 you have charged rs 204.70 on account of failed paytm transaction on account of my trip dated february 2, 2017. But this payment was successful on february 2, 2017. Even then you have rs 204.70 again on 01.09.2017. Screen shot of both successful payments is attached herewith. So please refund the amount of rs 204.70 in my paytm account and it should not happen in future.

                              Uber is the worst service provider amonst other competitors. I booked the ride and driver was 18 mins away from me, when i tried to cancel the ride. They charged me cancellation fee. It means if you book any ride in uber, either you travel or pay fine.

                              Never gonna book uber next time onwards.

                              Totally pathetic experience with uber...

                                I refer uber to my friend. I did not get any free ride. When i complaint them. They said that the system disabled the same due to voilation of terms. I ask them to provide the detail which term was voilated. They said that this is a system genearted system the system can not distinguish between wsuspicious account and a normal account. I am not satisfied with the reply.

                                  This is really ridiculous, i have placed my order '#9475d' to uber eats on 30th aug'17 at 12:21 pm and the amount was rs. 100/-. It was excutive thali from delicious food court through uber eats, first time i was using this app coz my frnd told me that the provide food so i have ordered but they dedcut my 100 rs money and did not delivered my parcel... This is really worst really worst.. They deduct from my paytm wallet.. Now i want my money..

                                      I took uber today to from jayanagar 3rd block to kempegauda international airport.

                                      The price showed rs 805
                                      But he took rs. 900

                                      He said it is for the toll. But there is no toll coming to airport.
                                      Pl let me know why i had to pay rs. 100 extra.
                                      Also why it was not informed earlier.
                                      This didn't happen before when i took uber to airport.

                                        I undertook a journey on uber from dwarka to vasant kunj on 1st sept. The estimated fare was rs 217 but the driver demanded rs 400 plus saying that the app shows some pending fare. I have not undertaken any journey since last one month and very sure that i have paid fully for all my previous journeys. So demand for pending fare is unjust. I am willing to pay for my current journey provided i am assured that no previous demand is shown against my account.in case of non agreement, i will not ever travel by uber and take alternate mode of travel.
