Dear sir,

I am gopalakrishna, from gurgaon. I have booked an uber cab on 11th november 2019 at 5:45 am, the estimated cost of trip was 178.14/-. I have chosen the payment option as paytm. Once trip started destination reaching time shown as 06:25 am, in the uber driver partner’s screen. However, trip was completed before the 06: 25 am, after completion of trip, actual amount shown in the uber driver partner’s screen was 134/- and uber driver partner stating that he doesn’t have the paytm account and demanded me to pay the amount in cash. I explained to him that i have booked the cab on payment mode with paytm. But, he is demanding me to pay on cash. So, i have given 150/-, he given back only 5/- due to no change with me and with uber driver partner also. After some time, i have received a sms from paytm that the estimated cost of trip 178.14/- was deducted from my paytm account.

I have raised this issue in the uber app, but, uber management not resolved my problem in the app, i have searched for their contract no in the uber app and in the uber website also. But, uber contact no or customer care no are not available in the app and uber website also. Then, i have requested for the uber driver partner’s contact no through uber app. But, uber denied to provide the driver’s contract number.

I have paid actual trip cost in cash and estimated trip cost was deducted from my paytm account. Uber is not returning the trip cost which they collected twice for a single trip. And, i have tried to contact uber customer care to explain my issue in detail, but, the uber is not maintaining any customer care, just they were one side contact through their app.

I request you to kindly do needful and instruct the uber to return my money which was deducted from my paytm account.

    I have just started my uber service in india, i was in between the ride configuration and the app was not proceeding to accept the payment details. Even after i had given all details for paytm. I did not get message for the ride confirmation for 10 mins. No one called me. And then i was charged 100 for no ride.
    This is rediculous.
    I need my money back.

      On 14th november 2019, around 7.30pm, i was checking for uberauto. While the app was searching for the auto, i got a call. After i was done with my 2 mins call, i was shocked to see that my ride got started without my notice, that too the pick up point was showing different. I tried to call the driver but the app was not allowing the call. Then i tried to cancel the ride, even that option was also not working. After keep on trying, finally after few minutes that ride got cancelled and i was charged 48rs. Then i raised a complaint about that trip. I didnt get any response immediately. I waited for 15mins, then i tried to book other uberauto. But the previous trip fare 48rs was showing me as outstanding balance and was not allowing me to book other ride if i dont accept to pay that fare in my next ride. So i accepted and booked uber auto. The actual fare of my trip was 166.37 rs. But i paid 213.37rs. Next day i got a reply for my query that they cant refund the amount as the trip didnt take place. Then i attached my next trips receipt in which i was charged extra 48 rs. Then after 2 days they called me and told me that another team is looking into this issue. Till now i didnt hear back from them and also they are not responding to my messages.

        Uber india disabled my account in may 2018 with no stated reason. When inquired, the customer service has only replied with a tempaltized response that my account is disabled "by the automatic system" and "we can't let you know what is the reason". After unsuccessful attempts to get my account reactivated, to find out what really caused the deactivation in the first place, i reached out to uber with little success and no further specific information than above. Finally, my complaint is (And has been for over 16 months) that as uber
        - is denying me service without a proper explanation
        - is still storing the card details for 2 of my cards on its platform for this duration, without allowing me access to it
        - not responding appropriately or with anywhere close to sufficient detail when the above questions are raised.

        Scammers don't download this app big scammers once they take advance money in the night you will not get the food or the money and their is no customer service at all big scam.beware don't download

          I had booked the uber auto on 18th nov 2019 at around 12:45 am from the destination: lido mall, swamy vivekananda rd, halasuru, bengaluru

          To: sr layout murugeshpalya, banglore

          And the expected fare was around between rs. 130-170 as shown by the uber app

          But the driver started the trip without me from the location: "magrath road" and ended at "shanthala nagar, ashok nagar", for which i charged 568.25 (Card payment still pending). I am yet to pay the amount, but without paying the same i won't be able to book a new ride. So i will be forced to pay the amount for which i have not taken any ride, in case i want to book uber again.

          I worst part is uber doesn't have any customer care number for india.in other countries, it was due to govt regulations.

          I ended up taking a bike ride from rapido (Screenshot attached)

          I raised an online complaint with the uber, but no response from them.

            Dear concern,

            I was order an food from ubereats, it was canceled by delivery person without any confirmation.. After i called customer care, i didn't get any proper response from them then i mailed to ceo, vice president, operation head from ubereats but i didnt get any support from them.. Till now i did received my payment also.

              We booked an auto from moulali to sainikpuri for an amount of rs.98/- and we confirmed the ride but premier car arrived andfor rs, 253, 50. We were not aware of cancellation charges and we were forced to take the ride. Booked by m. Sivasankaram ph, no.[protected]. Pls arrange to take up the issue and reimburse the extra money. Look forward for a quick reply.

                Hi,

                I placed order in uber eats with order id: 123b1 on 17 sept 2019.

                I am checking status continously and order also picked. As soon as order picked, suddenly i could see order cancelled. I dont know why its cancelled. I tried a lot calling customer care but no reponse and wrote a mail about, they simply closed my conversation stating that i cancelled the order. I asked for proof of saying that i cancelled the order, then no response.

                Please help in getting refund to me.
                This is vasanth from Chennai.I was ordered mutton Biriyani combo on 16 Nov 2019 but I was received chicken Biriyani... I was compliment to Uber eat customer .but they not give good response.really worst service.
                I have been charged by Uber eats on 15th of November, 2019 at 20:23 by Uber eats when I was ordering my food, my total amount was Rs.158 and I was charged Rs. 209.70 from my Paytm Wallet and my order was also not confirmed by the restaurant, I complained against this issue but there is no response from Uber Eats .

                  I had ordered 2 mcflurry oreo medium and 1 mcaloo tikki burger from mcdonals via uber eats and for a long time it was displayed that the meal is being prepared so we waited but just after that we got a notification that "your courier couldn't reach you, so this order was canceled without a refund." this is ridiculous as the delivery guy didn't call us anytime and we had already paid online for the service. Why do we not get any refund if we have paid for something and which did not get delivered to us! This is just so unethical and pathetic. Why don't they have a system to see if the delivery was really attempted or not, just not delivering us food and also not refunding the amount is utterly nonsense! Uber eats is one service which i'll not use from now onwards and also recommend my friends too to not use it! Atleast have the courtesy to refund the amount when the fault is at your end! Never expected this kind of bad service from uber!

                  Thanks to this website I got my refund in 15 days. There was a refund initiated by Uber Eats in just few days after logging the complaint.

                    I have received missing food items and incorrect order is the past 2 orders when i notified it to the customer care they just say high credit activity. It doesn't make any sense, why should i pay for something which i got wrong and something which i haven't received. This is not fair and 💰 money doesn't come easy or growing in trees. I need proper reply regarding this. Please do some justice for my hard earned money

                      One of the stupidest app available in the market my previous five orders got canceled and customer care is saying due to high credits we are unable to help you with your orders. I spoke with some girl divya today and she refuse to get me connected with restaurant to check status on my current orders.

                      Is this a right way to deal with customers. Is this a customer service.

                      You guys are unable to deliver right food if someone order veg you deliver non veg with pathetic packaging and low quality food and if someone complaint you guys make excuses for high credit somthing #

                        I left my umbrella in the cab, immediately contacted uber when i realised. They called once confirmed with driver that umbrella is with him and he will drop it at nearest uber office within 7 days from where i can collect it. When there was no response, i called after 10 days was told driver vehicle broke down, he will drop after10 days. After another 10 days he fell sick. If you don’t have the umbrella tell me just that. Why such petty excuses.

                          Most of the times i get charged twice on uber as my payment gets deducted from bank and the app still shows it unpaid. No help received from uber help option. Apart they donot have any customer care number also. For no reason ride amount increases automatically after completion of ride, customers get charged twice or thrice as duplicate amount, and also for a cancelled ride by driver customers get charged. When you contact support they say we have adjusted your amount which you never get in real but just a message.

                          I have been following up from uber support for my 6 different issues of duplicate charge, cab cancellation charge (Done by driver), increased fare of ride. But its been a month following up didnot receive any response.

                          Uber has started looting its passengers now. Worst customer care services

                            The trip fare shown before applying the promo code and the fare shown after applying the promo code is same. The trip fare is increased by the company when applying the promo code. I have applied the promo code of 50% discount. The company has first doubled the price and the provide the 50 percent discount. It almost nullifies the effect of promo code.

                              I have requested uber to delete or unlink my email id from an account which does not belong to me.
                              This is a violation of privacy.
                              They have been saying they are looking into it for around 2 weeks now and i have not received update on this.
                              I have contacted them both via email and phone and both times they are asking me to be patient now for around 2 weeks now.

                              I am Vijay.G Working in IT company. Today morning while traffic in kolapakkam road. Uber driver was crash my active bike and while asking questions. CAB driver was beat me like a Local rowdy. Why the useless guy hiring cab driver.

                                I booked a cab on uber using my number [protected] on 12th november, 2019 from igi airport, delhi. I could get hold of the driver after 10 minutes, and then the driver told me to cancel the ride myself because he had an issue with his car. When i tried cancelling, i got a notification that i will be partially charged for the ride anyway. Now this is extremely unfair, since i should not be asked to pay for a ride when it's not my fault that it is being cancelled. I told the cab driver to cancel it himself, but he refuses to, and is now hassling me to cancel it.

                                This has been a very disappointing experience with this app.
                                Doesn't matter what the payment method was. Uber driver asked me to pay the amount in cash which I did and now its outstanding on my app and I cannot book another cab. Uber is unable to help. I mean, if this is how your driver's/you are then whom would I trust?

                                  I booked a ride with honda amaze driver name amandeep taxi no. Dl1rta3259 from c 357, sector 10, noida to 8/5, surya apartment, sector 3, rajender nagar, sahibabad, ghaziabad around 4:32 pm on 11.11.19 on fare of ₹195 but after completion of ride it charged ₹426, overcharged ₹231 from me (118% more than the booking amount of ₹195) which is heinous practice being prevailing. I request you to refund me ₹231 to avoid further complications including legal action against the company for interest of general public.

                                    Hi Uber Team,

                                    I boarded on a cab date November 11, 2019 from Adambakkam to Thirumal vasantha mandapam.(near padi saravana stores

                                    I booked a cab in advance where it showed me the price range between 267-392 and i have taken screenshot of it. On seeing the price range only i booked it and due this price range it asked me to wait for 20 mins and i did the same.

                                    But to a surprise, on leaving the cab it showed by whopping price of 841 which is not at all acceptable.
                                    I was not able to speak to the customer care as uber the great company doesn't allow customers to speak over the phone for any issues..what a great company and hence i am writing here in consumer compliant.

                                    Anyways Uber management is not going to revert my money back which i spent 841 instead of 392 (keeping the max upper limit ) == 449 (which is my extra money spent on the ride.)

                                    I am going to raise a consumer compliant and also file a case on this issue as i could see more users complaining the same stuff

                                    Please whomever facing this issue uninstall the app as i have also did that

                                    PST : i haven't face this kind of issue in OLA as they pricing are transparant

                                      I am regular customer o[censored]ber i have booked an uber yesterday (8th nov 2019) @ 9.43am from nileje gaon to nesco it park. After getting down the cab i realized that i don’t have my mobile with me so in order to confirm if i have forgot in the cab i tried to contact the driver but call was diverted to your customer care from where i didn’t get any proper response for the same. I am trying to contact the customer care but not able to get through any number which is shown the internet.

                                      We don’t have any further details of the driver, we know only his name i. E shiv, for your reference pfa screenshot of the receipt which i received from the app. I have raised the query to your support team, but i didn’t get any response from them which is quiet disappointing.

                                        On 2nd november, i ordered a food from ubereats through online using my indian bank debit card. Money has been debited from my account for that order. Suddenly i got a message by saying "your order cancelled" also the amount (Rs. 124) will credit back to your account soon but nothing happened. Pls check i will attach the screen shot of my transaction.
                                        It has been more than 10 days and I have reached several times to Uber, but they are not activating my account, which they have flagged and banned, they just mentioned it's a technical glitch from there side, but they still have not resolved it.
