I booked a cab on uber using my number [protected] on 12th november, 2019 from igi airport, delhi. I could get hold of the driver after 10 minutes, and then the driver told me to cancel the ride myself because he had an issue with his car. When i tried cancelling, i got a notification that i will be partially charged for the ride anyway. Now this is extremely unfair, since i should not be asked to pay for a ride when it's not my fault that it is being cancelled. I told the cab driver to cancel it himself, but he refuses to, and is now hassling me to cancel it.

This has been a very disappointing experience with this app.
Doesn't matter what the payment method was. Uber driver asked me to pay the amount in cash which I did and now its outstanding on my app and I cannot book another cab. Uber is unable to help. I mean, if this is how your driver's/you are then whom would I trust?

    I booked a ride with honda amaze driver name amandeep taxi no. Dl1rta3259 from c 357, sector 10, noida to 8/5, surya apartment, sector 3, rajender nagar, sahibabad, ghaziabad around 4:32 pm on 11.11.19 on fare of ₹195 but after completion of ride it charged ₹426, overcharged ₹231 from me (118% more than the booking amount of ₹195) which is heinous practice being prevailing. I request you to refund me ₹231 to avoid further complications including legal action against the company for interest of general public.

      Hi Uber Team,

      I boarded on a cab date November 11, 2019 from Adambakkam to Thirumal vasantha mandapam.(near padi saravana stores

      I booked a cab in advance where it showed me the price range between 267-392 and i have taken screenshot of it. On seeing the price range only i booked it and due this price range it asked me to wait for 20 mins and i did the same.

      But to a surprise, on leaving the cab it showed by whopping price of 841 which is not at all acceptable.
      I was not able to speak to the customer care as uber the great company doesn't allow customers to speak over the phone for any issues..what a great company and hence i am writing here in consumer compliant.

      Anyways Uber management is not going to revert my money back which i spent 841 instead of 392 (keeping the max upper limit ) == 449 (which is my extra money spent on the ride.)

      I am going to raise a consumer compliant and also file a case on this issue as i could see more users complaining the same stuff

      Please whomever facing this issue uninstall the app as i have also did that

      PST : i haven't face this kind of issue in OLA as they pricing are transparant

        Hi team,

        I am regular customer o[censored]ber i have booked an uber yesterday (8th nov 2019) @ 9.43am from nileje gaon to nesco it park. After getting down the cab i realized that i don’t have my mobile with me so in order to confirm if i have forgot in the cab i tried to contact the driver but call was diverted to your customer care from where i didn’t get any proper response for the same. I am trying to contact the customer care but not able to get through any number which is shown the internet.

        We don’t have any further details of the driver, we know only his name i. E shiv, for your reference pfa screenshot of the receipt which i received from the app. I have raised the query to your support team, but i didn’t get any response from them which is quiet disappointing.

          On 2nd november, i ordered a food from ubereats through online using my indian bank debit card. Money has been debited from my account for that order. Suddenly i got a message by saying "your order cancelled" also the amount (Rs. 124) will credit back to your account soon but nothing happened. Pls check i will attach the screen shot of my transaction.

          It has been more than 10 days and I have reached several times to Uber, but they are not activating my account, which they have flagged and banned, they just mentioned it's a technical glitch from there side, but they still have not resolved it.

            I booked cab from anandi apartment, aliganj to ram manohar lohia park, gomti nagar on[protected] for which i was charged rs. 127.42 out of which rs. 126/- was charged from uber credits and rest rs. 1.42 was the amount i had to pay but driver asked for full payment saying that i must be technical error due to which system was asking for payment of rs. 1.42.
            Later i checked receipt of ride which showed that rs. 126/- was charged from uber credits. I complained about the same to uber but i didn't get any support.

              It was an order for a cake (500g with additional 500g), the added 500g addition was never delivered but i was charged inr 400 for that.

              When contacted the customer support about it, the response i received was to leave the feedback and they would take care from the next time.

              I fail to understand what kind of support service is that? I pay additional money for stuff i didn't get, and all i can do is leave a negative feedback. I need my money back.

                Hi team. On 5th of november, 2019, evening around 5:30 p. M., an uber driver with car number up 16 gt 0062 hit my car and did not own responsibility for it. He was standing on a very thin road by the side and congesting the entire traffic. I tried honking to make him move on the side. As soon as i overtook him to go my way, he bumped his car in mine and scratched the entire side. He not only didn't take the responsibility for it, but spoke extremely rudely to me infront of everyone standing around. This incident happened in rampuri, kalkaji, new delhi 110019. I would request if someone can please look into the matter.

                  Today morning i booked an uber ride to go to ravipuram visa office from mamangalam anjumana temple premises. Vehicle no. Kl 07 ca 5204. The charge shown in my mobile was rs.116.80. But when the ride was completed the driver asked me rs.232. Since i was in a hurry, without arguing i paid the money. But this is injustice that he charged me just double the amount than shown in my mobile at the time of booking the ride. Please look into the matter and do the needful to get me justice.

                  Overcharging.
                  Even though traffic rule became strengthen, drivers do not prepare seatbelt at back seat.Most of drivers are hide it.
                  At least, they should let us use it.
                  Whether use or not is depends on the guests.
                  But hiding seatbelt has intention.Uber company should punish them.

                    I took a ride yesterday by uber from hauz khas village to shiv mandir dayal bagh faridabad. Driver come upto badarpur red light and a car stop at red light. After 5 min he told that some problem has occured or gas is finished. He moved his car some how and went to out of the car to see problem & then he told "belt toot gyi hai, mein apko dusri cab kerwa deta hun nhi toh app khud kerlo cab. Gadi nhi chalegi."

                    I moved out car and took riksha for my home and the moment i look back, that car was disappear from there.

                    So, if a car was not at the moving condition then where car went after 10min. Do belt was repaired automatically? No!!! That driver lied to me and did a fake drama over there.

                    Please take this issue as a serious matter. It was approx 09:15 pm that incident happened. I took cab for my safety not to tolerate driver's fake drama. Please take necessary action against who actually does this kind of behaviour.

                      I had ordered food from mcdonalds using the app o[censored]ber eats on 6 nov 2019. The amount was deducted - 381 rupees. But my order was not placed neither in uber eats nor with mcdonalds.

                      The amount has deducted from my hdfc debit account.

                      More importantly, i was charged for another order because my total in uber eats was 301 rupees.

                      I had to then again place another order in uber eats from mcdonalds and that costed me 301 rupees.

                      But the amount was deducted twice.

                        I have added uber gift cards worth rs 2600 and have used around 800.
                        Where is the remaining amount?
                        Have contacted the customer care around 10 times but they are not responding and are not understanding my problem.
                        There is no proper support phone number where we can call and make them aware of what crime they are doing and nobody will trust uber if they eat our hard earned money like this

                          My last night incidence
                          Uber cheats, uber creap
                          My last night incidence, i booked uber moto last night 11:05pm from office. Rider called me and asked information pickup and drop, after a long time wait ride has cancelled and i have charged for that.

                          Again i book the cab and the rider called me and asked all the information. He came and start the journey with me, on the middle of the way he asked that i will not drop you are the location i'll just drop you at the nearby i denied that i will go to the location but he dropped me on the middle of the way near of the jungle at the night 11:30 and i have charged it to.
                          Balance was insufficient in my account to book the cab i call to my friend and ask for the money. While waiting of the money i'm at within robbers and save myself.

                          i check the price and the price was double of the all the cabs then i book the anyhow and came to my home. Who was the responsible if i met any of the robbery and accident on the middle of the road the oven never care of these things because you were just only only deals with the charged and money. Now i am going to legally and filr sign a case against uber.0
                          I order from uber eats. The order id is #591BB.
                          The order is cancelled.. I made an online payment. I didn't receive the refund of Rs. 105.87

                            I have ordered food from uber on 29th october... My money was deducted which is 252 rupees. And my order got cancelled. There is no uodates in the app profile and my money also is not getting refunded still. I keep on checking my uber profile and i have seen no updates regardung the cancelled order. So how can i know that my money is being processed for refund

                              I had booked an uber car on 3rd november, 2019 at 5.30 pm from saltlake sector v to ariadaha kalachand high school. The estimated amount of fare showed by uber was around rs.250.00 to rs.300.00. After completing my journey the fare showed around rs. 547.00.                               I am using uber from last some times.
                              During last ride i paid full amount, as per billing to driver. But now after some time when i am trying to book new ride then it is showing that some amount is pending from my last ride which is wrong.

                              I had raised this concern with uber team but still there is no correction.

                                On 26th of october at 3:15 pm, my friend and i took a uber cab model toyota etios liva, plate number 6417, from "japan travel cafe azuki" to "sri visnu pearls", in bengaluru. Upon arrival, i forgot my phone (A brand new black oneplus 7 smartphone) in the cab.
                                I called my number, but at some point the phone was switched off. I finally reached the driver through uber help, and he said he saw the phone in the back seat, but the door was not properly closed so the phone fell off while he was driving, which makes no sense. After talking for a while, and hearing that i was going to file a complaint, he asked me to give him one or two days so that he finds the phone. He never called me back and he's not picking up my calls since then.

                                  Hi i received stale sweet from nathu's sweets. I ordered from uber eats got stale sweets. I contacted customer support o[censored]ber eats multiple times but they are not helping me. I got stale sweet & had contacted restaurant also but uber eats not giving refund & saying that we will pass feedback. I also contacted restaurant & told about the stale sweet. Kindly take strict action against uber eats.

                                  I was told to be cgarged 250 for the ride but uber has charged me 327, i feel this is unfair and want a refund for the extra charged money.

                                    My trip was booked from howrah rly station to pentacostal mission church, taltala and without any valid reason my charge was hiked up suddenly. Please address this issue for the better customer service.

                                      I booked a cab. The driver confirmed booking, it was a 5 minutes distance when booking was done. Driver asked me where will you go? I told him fatehpur beri, delhi.

                                      After that he stopped his car 1 minute distance near me and didn't cancel my ride. I called him several times but he didn't pick my call. I also texted him messages.

                                      Niether he cancelled nor did he reached. He kept me wait for more than 40 minutes. I was going to a funeral.

                                      I tried to contact uber also but nothing was there to complain before booking. Why does uber provide easy support to their riders?

                                      After this mental harrasment, i cancelled my ride. 5 minutes time converted into 40 minutes.

                                      I want compensation for my crucial time and unnecessary harrasment.
