Hi All,
I've ordered a milkshake from a nearby restaurant, With such a horrible UI across their channels. Even after selecting the payment mode as Paytm, It selected as cash and order got placed.
Due to which I canceled the order in the very next minute. The timeline is as follows.
Order Creation: 5:37 PM
Order Cancellation: 5:38 PM
And as a Cancellation charge, Uber is asking me to pay the entire order amount to compensate the restaurant and delivery partner for their effort.
I don't know how does this makes sense.
When I tried reaching their excellent support team that Uber has, with No Call or Chat Support. They say the restaurant has started preparing order and food went waste, so I have to pay.
Do you people really think that this makes sense? I need an explanation on this and without being informed when canceling the order how can they charge? I want Justice on this ready to move this to Consumer court too.
