I booked uber taxi on 1st October 2019 from kitchlu nagar to tibba road Ludhiana in the morning and after completion of ride the driver charged me rs.160 and i paid the amount in cash and driver left the spot and thereafter the amount was again deducted from my paytm wallet and i sent email to paytm as well as uber, but nothing had been done till now. This is an illegal malpractice being adopted by the company.kindly do the needful in this regard. Further i have not connected the uber with my paytm, but still the amount has been deducted from my paytm, this is also a trade practice adopted by the uber to harass and grab the hard earned money of the general public. Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

I received an email from uber but they refused to refund the amount. Kindly do the needful and action be taken against uber and paytm.

    This is regarding my travel in an uber auto on[protected]. My payment mode was through debit card and the total amount for payment was inr 57.84. On reaching the destination, the driver asked me to make the payment in cash and gave me several reasons on cash not reflecting in his account in his previous online transactions with other passengers.
    Understanding his problem, i tried to change my debit card payment mode to cash mode, but it showed error. After several attempts, i insisted the driver to make the payment online as the mode was not changing. The driver suddenly got angry with me and started to quarrel in public.
    As i was at railway station and getting delayed, i made the payment in cash with the driver's assurance that he has ended the trip with cash accepted mode.

    Later, when i came back from my travel and tried to book food on ubereats, this outstanding payment of inr 57.84 was reflecting as unpaid.
    I made several complaints to uber but they did not resolve my issue.
    The amount is still in the pending mode. I requested them to waive of that amount as i had already made the payment.

    Kindly help me to resolve this issue. I am not asking for any refund. I just don't want to pay for what i have already paid.

      In your company you people have given vendor to sale the mobile one person mr. Rajesh have taken the amount form me on june month 14th till now i did not received the mobile i asked him amount he said today i will give tommorow i will give it's already more then 3 months have completed. Last friday i visited to uber office i asked where is the rajesh they said they are in leave. They called him in front of me he is asking me who are you so i spoke loudly with uber employee. So they pulled me out of the company is this the way you treat your customers. I need explanision from uber.
      Two times my trip has been charged more than what was shown in the fare...I have been relying on uber for sometime now and I must say that ola service is so much better... atleast they are available anytime and I have never been charged more that the actual fare...I never had any bad experience with ola...but had many with uber...

        I mistakenly left my phone in uber auto and now i do not have any details to contact my driver and have my phone back.

        Neither i have any response from uber, as i have raised complaint on help.uber.com.

        Got a reply from [protected]@uber.com as your mail could not reach to us.

        This was not expected from such a service Uber.

        Please look into this.

          With kind attention I would like to make you aware that on Saturday at around 5.30 I took a ride in Uber Fromm HHI to NEW TOWN METRO PLAZA road, rajarhat CHINAR PARK. Its our mistake that we didn't mention a stop but everyday we come with the same route and i got drop down at RAGHUNATHPUR Bus stop along with my friend continue the same cab to metro plaza New town residancy.

          On that very day that only driver denied to take from ultadanga and says that as GPS will show the route from new town so he will take that route still we says that it's near from ultadanga and we knows the exact location just by looking new town he didn't even listen us even started arguing that I am working under Uber not under you so u don't instruct me this and that blaa blaaa blaa. After that we again add my another drop which is at RAGHUNATHPUR but now with that also he got frightened and stop the car in the middle of the road that why u people harress the driver u can book another cab instead of adding. U just save money u never think o[censored]s, u people are good, ur ratings with Uber were also very bad this and that than we also shouted him that he don't have right to give any character certificate to us than also we forced him to complete his trip and drop us in both the location.

          He dropped first my friend to first drop location that took forward for next drop which is at RAGHUNATHPUR but now he is not following any GPS or Uber rules he keep of misbehaving, deal with his own route and major part is DROP A GIRL IN THE MID OF THE ROAD by saying he will not go to the destination and as the payment is from paytm he just stop the trip before it got ended and forced me to drop down.

          This time I was alone and the drop is just near to destination but he denied to enter into my house lane as left me helpless in the mid of the road. The time was around 6.45 pm . By this action I was feeling so unsafe that I can't explain you.

          U people over charged my fare as due to add of drop but that drop can cover during the trip and we always do but since for extraRs. 70/[protected] I am ok but only with one condition either expelled out that driver from Uber or take necessary action against him or else pay me monetary compensation.

          I am a regular user of yours, trust on it service at the maxim but that instance made me shocked from internally that how can a driver has the right to behave like this with me.

          I made 5-6 times msg in Uber help app apart from extra charge of money u people didn't replied any of my messages. As u Gus also know that ur driver was totally wrong.

          After seeing such condition please do the justice. Waiting for your quick response.

            On 24th september 2019, i took a ride with uber from 31, sundernagar to patparganj industrial area.
            The car's ac was on 1, i asked the driver to increase the temperature to 2, which he did.
            But still since it was too hot, i asked the driver to further increase the temperature, to which he replied very rudely that all the previous passengers were fine with ac being on 2 but why only i am finding it hot and asking him to increase the temperature and so he refused to increase the temperature clearly.

            I then patiently sat in the car thinking its a 30 mins drive and i can manage, but after 10 mins of the ride, the heat was unbearable so i asked him to again increase the temperature, to which he again refused.
            I warned him to either increase the temperature or stop the car, to my surprise he chose to stop the car in the middle of some unknown place (There was hardly any other conveyance available for me to reach my destination).
            I called up the uber support then and there, i was assured that the problem would be taken care of but they instead slapped with a fine of rs 37, for the time that driver had invested in the trip.
            I have emailed them numerous times about it and their representative called me and i explained her the problem, that i was harrassed mentally in a way and i am not willing to pay even a single penny for the driver, she assured a call back with the updates on the situation.
            Another person called me up after that saying they can't help the situation and that i have to pay the amount, i have asked them t connect me with a senior representative from their team, 24hrs have passed and still no response.
            This incident took place 6days ago, and i have been constantly emailing them about it, still no satisfactory response.
            They don't even have a customer care number, every time there is a problem, customer has to wait atleast a day for due credits and wait for them to respond on emails which is very tiresome.
            I now would want them to reimburse the time and energy i have wasted on this matter and also improve their customer support system (Atleast provide a number for the customers)

              On 28/9/29, i booked one uber ride and selected payment method paytm but drive was taking more time then expected to reach to my location so i took different cab and left. But the amount was deducted from my paytm account even i was not part of that trip. I complaint on uber app but they are saying you had compeletd the trip and not refunding my money.

                First i wanted to cancel the order as soon as in secs the order was placed and the order was placed using paytm but the order went through without any authentication and the person from uber in call said that the order went through without any authentication due to their technical glitch and they will look after to get that resolved but won't make for the problem because of that as i'm the order it since the order wasn't placed due to technical glitch but only the payment processed due to technical glitch finally i ended up getting a good which i don't even want. Next thing i see a promotion from the restaurant which didn't apply to my order so the order was 170 for the thing which cost around 70 using the promotion. So i thought of at least getting back the extra money i spent and reached their customer care but i got a reply saying the said promotion binge80 isn't applicable to the said restaurant. But the thing is the promotion has been advertised in the restaurant page and i'm enclosing the screenshot here, every single time i always face this kind of problem with uber customer service. The executives don't even spend time to read a customer's complaint and reply customers with their default copy paste answers.

                  I used card payment method and the transaction is done by zaak epayment and and the order is been cancelled automatically, and they have charged even more than the item amount, i have seen many same kind of complaints on this website, when we are using over eats why is it charged through zaak repayment, and that too not even the exact amount it was more than the item cost, kindly arrange for the refund.

                    For a distance of 3.1 km i was driven for 7.38 km. I have been charged for base fare, travel distance, and then travel time too. On the top of that a surcharge of 1.4 was applied on all (i.e base fare, travel distance and travel time) which is highly inappropriate. Even if traffic is considered changing of route again and again is not justified, and when surcharge is paid because of high demand then how somebody can be charged for travel distance. Also my colleague who traveled with OLA has paid around 250 for a distance of 17 km. This uber policy is highly wrong and i feel cheated by paying Rs 298 for 3.1 km.

                      I have lost a wallet in uber's cab. When i came to know about it, right away i have contacted the driver and driver admits that he has a wallet of mine. After talking to him, he assures me that he will submit the wallet at uber seva kendra at sector 29 gurgoan. But unfortunately he hasn't deposited yet. Now he is not picking up the phone.
                      I have explained the scenario to the uber over mail and they also contact the driver from their end and confirmed me that driver agreed that he has your wallet and told me to visit seva kendra to collect the same.
                      When i found that he hasn't deposited it yet then again i escalate the same to uber over mail but they are saying that they are limited to this much support and go for further legal procedure at your end.
                      So my concern is that when uber has the idea about the culprit driver then why it cannot take some serious step. Isn't it their duty to do so? Uber is dealing with the same driver in and out then why can't he compelled the driver about the lost item.
                      This so unprofessional side o[censored]ber. I am attaching the mail where uber has confirmed that he cannot do anything further.

                        This time uber male me fool by charhe. When we check the fare is something else after driveproblege is different to my parents travellers yesterday will definitely go to consumer court.

                        Please take my point &sent me proper reply.
                        1) how can uber charge 3time more, subhash nagar to tamaswadi root only 32 km they fare charge rs. 532/- (Please see attachement)
                        2) at that time of booking the charge showe₹532/- which ok after paying tamswadi access but how is increase rs. 1480/- i want to refund my extra amount rs. 948/-
                        I am regular ones. I stope using uber because this type of cheating
                        They complaining me to go conscoury.
                        Court. I will definitely go this time, if i didnt get any proper response.

                        I think consumer consumer complaint will solved my problem

                          My food order I'd is #50C1F I did not received the food in right condition, my order was completely damaged when I received it, I live in pg and I order Gulab jamun set of 11 from bhimsain restaurant which when I received was fully damaged the sugar syrup was completely coming out of the packaging and the packaging was damaged due to heavy weight of the package the gulab jamuns were also damaged the were in the bottom of the boxes, now when I looked from help from uber they are not helping me and aren't providing me with order refund, not one expect such kind of behaviour from food delivery service like uber eats and I am really very disappointed... I want refund of my order and request you to please help

                            On 13 th oct i ordered one roll via cod... After waiting for 2 hours.. Suddenly the uber eats shows.. Delivery boy contacted... But u didn't respond so order cancelled... I can show my call logs... I tweeted this issue to uber eats... No response.. Today on 26th sep i was adding my debit card... Uber debited previous money which was 75 from my account.. Telling they charged it for previous order... Uber eats failed to deliver order.. N they are charging customer for that failed order... Please don't use uber eats

                            I tried to order food in Uber eats while payment I got debited money from my account and then I didn't get any of my order details and also order did not get place kindly check and refund my amount

                              Dear sir/madam,

                              This is to inform you that on 26th sept 2019 morning i booked uber auto. The driver mr. Javed shaikh, picked up from home and instead of telling him to follow the gps, took me on the wrong route and when i scolded him. He aborted the ride and dropped me on middle of the road.

                              Not only this he aborted the ride and then started asking money in cash.

                              But still the company wants me to pay the full amount of the ride.

                              I complained on uber app but no action is taken by them.

                              Hope to seek response and take necessary action against the driver. Today he has dropped me on the road and tomorrow he can do the same with others and take the money too.

                              He was rude too.

                                My mobile no is [protected]. I traveled from airport to velachery (20th street)

                                I was traveled on your uber vehicle on 9th august - around 1.30 am after my booking.
                                After vehicle arrival, on on boarding, the meter was erratic and it shows rs 83... Before leaving the location, then after outside the air port the meter shows rs 128...
                                Driver was confused and he said that it never happen and may be some trial going on.
                                I said my amount shows rs 211..., (All decimals are removed and nor remembered) plus airport pick charge rs 40, so that total should be rs 251.
                                After it reaches, the amount not exceeded and it remains rs 251...
                                Finally i paid rs 260.. To the driver

                                Surprise to see yesterday that it shows, i have not paid for the traveled amount
                                Please note, which driver allows to get out without payment
                                I lost credential on your site, and how can without verifying the basic issue, you may put as last drive pending on my account.
                                As a customer, can i say that you have not paid xxxx amount.
                                This is not fare, please investigate and correct the same, yesterday, i traveled night ola due to your issue.

                                  I book an auto yesterday evening from jasola salson aurumn till south extension part 2. And instantly the ride was booked and it stated will take 5 min. After 5 min. I didnt received any message or call from the driver. So i called him to enquire. While i was speaking to him. The call got disconnected and the ride was also cancelled without any intimation to me. After sometime i received a message stating that i will have to pay back 20 rupees to the driver.

                                      My order did not arrive and the status is showing delivered. I tried contacting on their helpline but could not connect as per their rubbish policy, which allows only ongoing order to be connected.

                                      I tried contacting them on social media, but that too did not go as per plan. They readily said they can't help me in this regard, and asked me to do another process from the app, which i already did.

                                      This is fraud happening in broad daylight.

                                      Please i want them to be brought to some sort of accountability.

                                        Hello all i booked uber premier cab in chennai on 24th sept 2019. During booking the uber app showed 335 inr. The cab dropped our destination after 28km with 1 toll gate during the journey. Upon closing the journey the driver asked us to pay 472 and started to fight since driver's paytm account not credited and along with that i get an instant message that paytm deducted prescribed 335 inr from my account. I denied to pay the amount to driver but he picked up a fight and started using words. I raised a support ticket to resolve this issue. Uber simply closed the ticket stating this is out of boundary. Such day light robbery these cab providers operate in india. People please beware of such crooks.
