Sir on 15th sep at 4pm i was trying to book uber ride, i tried many times but uber app was just searching for the ride, then before giving me a confirmed ride, uber asked me to add money on my paytm wallet, so that they can hold rs 350 for the ride i was trying to book. I gave the rs 350 for the ride i was trying to book, but still uber could not find the ride for me, i tried for almost an hour but failed to find the ride. Then after an hour when i was trying again to find another ride uber asked to to pay rs 350 again as a holding amount. Without releasing my previous holding amount for the ride which the did not provide me, uber was asking me to give them another another amout to search for another ride. Sir have you started charging for searching a ride also? Which law has allowed you to hold consuners amount with giving them a ride. This is harrasment you have harassed me yesterday for eight hours i was trying to search for the ride, you were holding my money and not allowing me to search for another ride with out holding another amount for another ride. I just want the official clauses under which you are holding consumers money whiout giving or even confirming the ridebooking. You can hold after starting the ride or fter confirming the ride. But without confirming the ride booking how can you hold my money and deny me to book another ride, and asking another amount to hold. I want under which govt law you are doing this illegal practice and harrasing the consumers. I want official reply which govt clauses so that i can go against your this policy to consumer court
