Hi this is the second time uber has deactivated my account on my customer rating falling below threshold. While a senior person helped the first time the policies are completely discriminatory in nature their escalations team has not been able to comment on what the threshold should be. They claim that drivers can rate customers and give tips ln how to increase rating. Having lived outside the country and knowing that following lane discipline and traffic regulations are critical to the safety of a passenger none of my rides had anything to do with me coming late or messing up the car however i dont feel safe since the cabs most of time have broken windshields are si dirty and i have had a situation where the driver almost got into an accident 3 times during the course of a journey prompting me to pray that i reach safely there are times when drivers claim they dont know anything apart from the local language. How do they expect to talk to foreigners then. On complaining to uber they just told me that its their policy and cant do anything about it. Maybe all their drivers to undergo driving test and they will surely fail. I do not wish to generalize but are all drivers like every second cab i take in bangalore is a problem and i sm pretty sure its a matter of time before someone meets with a serious accident through uber. Can you pls ban then from india as it they are deactivating accounts and have no proof to tell customers on what facts it

    I took uber to go to airport at 4am along with my husband. I had to catch my flight and my husband had to return back home after dropping me. Driver told that he would want cash and can't accept paytm. He told he is going back same place (Origin) and would drop my husband back at same fare at which we had gone to airport. He also asked to update the destination and said money from our paytm would not get deducted. On reaching home, my husband paid him cash for entire journey from home to airport and back. Total cash paid 220+220 = 440.

    However, simultaneously my paytm balance also got deducted by rs. 766.79. This extra deduction of rs. 766.79 is fraudulent and should be recovered asap.

My no is not registered in uber also. U should take action against dis no .he is talking badly when I ask to auto driver tell me your name he is not tell her name also

        Hi team,

        I had recently gone to bangalore on a personal trip from mumbai. I always use uber in mumbai as its comfortable and value for money.

        However, in bangalore, i found something strange. Most drivers do not switch on the ac. We need to ask them to start it. Some drivers just respond that ac has got spoilt and isnt working. The others reluctantly start it at lowest speed handly cooling the car.

        If i have to travel non ac why do i need to book a uber. Might as well book another taxi.

        Kindly get this behaviour fixed as after some rides i started travelling by auto instead of booking an uber.

          The account has been disabled and i am not aware why that has happened

          I am not able to reactivate the account as i am not able to answer questions on my previous rides.in fact i have not been able to ride uber at all

          Please help me to reactivate my account

            Respected Sir/Madam,

            This is regarding an Uber trip which started and ended with us boarding the Auto. The driver did not call us and started the trip without us, and the amount got debited from my account.

            Trip Date : Sun, Mar 24, 2019
            Auto Driver name : Vaijunath (Rating 1.31 out of 5)
            License Plate as per bill : KA38C2939
            Please see the trip details

            The response from Uber is "As the trip started and ended in the exact place selected by me, they are unable to refund". Even after complaining multiple times through Uber Support, they are not ready to refund back the amount unethically debited from my PayTM account or reach a logical solution.

            I agree that the trip would have started and ended in the exact place selected by me. But the important point is there were no passengers (us). Then what is the logic for us to pay for the trip which started without us without even giving us a phone call.

            Could you please contact Uber and help me get the refund of the amount back to my paytm account ? I believe I am right as well as logical.

              We had gone to shukratal/shuktal from h nizamuddin railway station on 18th march 2019. We srarted our uber journey around 2:30 pm and reached shuktal at 4:30 pm. We found that though fare estimated was rs 2830// the driver recovered in cash an amount of rs6630 as per amount displayed on his app plus toll of rs 270..in our opiniion fare was very high and needs to be reviewed and excess fare refunded.

                I booked an uber auto from phoenix market city mall, pune at 9 pm last night. After waiting for fifteen minutes when i finally called the autowalla to ask why there's a delay, he refused to come to pick me because the ride wasn't long enough. He also refused to cancel the ride himself and asked me to cancel it. He then proceeded to charge me 12 rupees for cancelation. This amount doesn't even show in my cancelation or previous trips. Moreover receipt is unavailable. How should i review it then?

                  Where is this uber coming from to bangalore? Such an fraud business they do.

                  Every time with uber we travel the driver we travel acts very unprofessional with cheap behavior, the way they talk, respond very bad. So we go ahead and rate 'low', so the uber shamelessly have deactivated the account stating the below,

                  'your uber rating has slipped below our rating threshold. And that puts your uber account (Rides and eats) at risk of being deactivated.
                  But improving your rating is simple. Just follow our 7 tips to become a 5-star rider. And soon enough, you will be back in the safe zone.'

                  And look at their shameful message saying, go trough he tips to rate better, instead of hiring good educated drivers, one more women harassment case them they should be thrown out of our country.

                  Why is out country encouraging such fraud business people,??

                    Very often a fare is indicated. After authorisation of previous payment the booking process statts6again and now the fare gets jacked up. It has happened during my past 10 bookings. That i made in feb / march. The last trip it kncreased from from 240 to 445. There are also cancllations by drivers. Ubers complaint reddressal mechanism in the apl does not entertain this type of complaints. Is there any manipulations in
                    Fare.

                      I took ride from shubhameru convention hall, mahadevapura on 4apr at 5.59pm. Ka 03ac 2245. Driver stopped the car in middle way and said the car will not start battery problem. As soon as i got down with my kid, in 5 minutes he reversed the car and went away. I raised issue in app, no response. My full amount is deducted. Very unprofessional behaviour.

                        Hi.
                        I am Suman Gupta, a frequent user o[censored]ber.
                        Recently purchased a ride pass from uber according to which base fare was 59 and maximum was RS 90 in uber go so it gave nearly Rs30 discount. But how will they bear this 30Rs as it was a loss to them as one can buy pass for Rs 5 and it gave discount of Rs 30 per ride for unlimited rides .
                        So they used some dirty trick as a result of which the fare of the person having ride pass become automatically more as compared to without ride pass and I have suffered from the problem in some past ride.
                        I contacted the support and so many tries, a executive was able to understand my concern but he was not able to resolve it so he stopped responding then again I raised a new in app query but this time nothing happened.
                        Then I tried to contact them via social media like Facebook, twitter but they said we found your account and will reply there only so as to avoid any mess.
                        Still nothing happened, then I mailed the issue to their highest authority i.e. CEO
                        Mr. Dara but he sent issue to a concern escalation team of India and then a person named Abhilash contacted me and foolishly said that due to factors like time, demand, promotion and restrictions, no two account can have same fare, I asked him more about restrictions then he told I can't tell you but he told that currently there are no restriction then he told me that it might be due to promotion, then I said I tried this without any promotion then he said that then issue might be due to different time but still I denied. Finally he hanged up call saying that I will look into the issue and get back to you Sam day ASAP but no calls, no mails and no replies. They have started cheating.

                        I am attaching the chats with support and screenshot of difference in fare .
                        One can easily verify genuineness of the screenshot by seeing drop time, time and battery level etc.

                          Many o[censored]ber auto drivers are unprofessional and whenever i'm in hurry and want to book uber auto it take too much time in connecting with driver and sometimes drivers first accept the ride and after 2 to 3 minutes the cancel. Uber cabs are easily available but because of little bit high cost for single person i prefer to book uber auto and it's a request to take action on this.

                          So Uber driver started the trip without me, on 29th March and 2nd april, I had to use FB to get my 29th refund and for 2nd April, when i had to fight again, their reason is since we refunded on 29th, we can't do it on 2nd, what logic is that?

                          I[censored]ber driver has made a mistake, why should a customer suffer it? I really do not get the logic. If tomorrow again the driver starts a trip without me, will it be my fault? I think my fault is that i am using Uber.
                          My trip involved with KA53D6906 - Cab AC was not working

                            On march 11 taken a trip from apollo hospital nasik to parksyde residences indra nagar nasik the charge was 164.69. On march 13 i paid twice the amount for the same trip by my debit card.
                            I sent them copy of bank statement but they refused to pay back the money
                            On the contrary telling me that they did not receive the money.
                            My bank account statement shows two deductions on march 13 for rs 164.69
                            It is the casual and don't care attitude o[censored]ber, i feel disgusting and deeply hurt.

                            I took a ride in Uber. And I forgot my luggage in the cab. I had called the driver to ask him to return it. He agreed. But later he has stopped picking my call. I want my luggage back. Please do the needful.

                              Hi,
                              I have order once from uber eats of total 178 which got cancelled.
                              But after a week when i add 200 in my paytm wallet they deducted my amount without knowing me.
                              Such a fraud they are doing with customers.

                              I request you to please solve my issue as soon as possible
                              Otherwise they will cheat each and every customer like this only.
                              Their service is also very bad and food quality too.
                              Please take some serious action on ubereats.

                                I booked a ride from my home to bus stand on 1.4.19 at 08.00. While i was talking to the driver on phone, he kept me on hold for over 5 minutes (Mr omsekar-driver) and then new driver and vehicle appeared on my screen one mr sunil, he too us to a different location and said that is the location i booked! And changed booking to bus station and charged me rs 140.00 instead of 89.00. He was arguing all the way that i should pay. I said i want to talk to uber centre. I called mr omsekar on the mob he called me. Guess what mr sunil answered! Is there something going on without uber's knowledge. My concern is there is a serious safety issue here. We could have been kidnaped, assaulted, raped or murdered. May i request the concerned personnel to take action asap sort this serious safety issue with uber.

                                I paid Uber bill today 2nd April of amount 265.45, the money got deducted from my bank account but it didn't get reflected in Uber, I had to do the payment again.please do the needful and revert on the complain

                                  I have placed an order on uber eats on 31st March, 2019. The order number is #BBF5B. As I was preoccupied, my brother went and collected the order.when we were about to eat, it came into our notice that there were missing items which I have paid for in full.
                                  Just to double check I went into my orders section and to no one's surprise it showed that I have paid for it.Agitated about this I tried to contact them.But I was only able to get text support. They refunded me using 'uber credits'.
                                  If I did not pay for an item using uber credits why do you refund me using uber credits?
                                  Uber credits is not a system of exchange that can be used outside o[censored]ber's platform.so in the end what I paid for in cash has been swapped for some virtual currency that does not have the backing of any bank or other institutions of the sort.
                                  Also uber had made it very difficult to contact a representative directly.I was unable to find any contact number within the app.It was only through a tedious Google search that I came across their helpline number.
                                  And when I contacted that person he was being very defensive and not offering any meaningful way to resolve my issue. In the end I just hung up the phone agitated with his behaviours.
                                  My advise, be very carefully while dealing with uber. They lack any empathy for the customer and would just treat you with scripted replies.
                                  If available it is better to go with either Zomato or swiggy.

                                  I left my mobile phone inside the cab. When I get down I immediately contacted Uber driver and requested him to return but he refused to do so. There is no way to connect Uber help support to get my issue resolved
                                  Each time uber driver cancelled the trip why the bloody hell i am charged, is it my problem if the driver cancelled the trip and denied to come, why uber is charging me the cancellation fee, it's just unfair, you people are stealing us that to very legally
                                  There is no way I can communicate to Uber and ask for the travel reports. There is no such option in online help and support. There is no email address either. The greviance email address "[protected]@uber.com" is also not monitored.

                                    On Saturday 30th March 2019 I entered my residence Society (Royal Classic at Link Road, near D'Mart, Mulund West, MUmbai 400080)in my car along with two others. As the entrance passage is long and narrow with cars parked on the right side, we had to wait to allow another car coming out, when the Uber driver in his Maruti car no. MH46BB9055 came zooming from behind, overtook us and stopped in front of her to discharge his passenger, without allowing the outgoing car. His driving was rash. Society has a rule of speed limit of 10 kph. When we faced the driver about his misdeed, he was not sorry but on the other hand he was outright rude.

                                      Today i have ordered one parcel meals from sangeetha t. Nagar. The delivery person (Balaji) came to my house around 1.30pm. Instead of delivering the order simply he cancelled the order.

                                      He should have press the calling bell or he should have called to me. He did not do neither of these.

                                      Very poor support team ubereats have.

                                      How can you charge the customer for your delivery person mistakes?

                                      Ubereats should find out what the mistake the delivery person doing. Even the undelivered parcel meals not returned back to the restaurant. So?

                                        Hello sir/mam,
                                        Today that is on 29th of march, 2019 around 10:40 pm, a driver of your agency showed an annoying gesture which is not accepted at all from a service on which i have wasted my time. And money and to put my whole trust on the service you provide. The phone number on which we booked a uber cab is [protected] and we wanted him to take us to aravali boys hostel 2, guru gobind singh indraprastha university, dwarka 16c-78.
                                        My uber app account is under the name rahul sharma on my mobile number-[protected].
                                        So i am hereby to complain against the ill treatment of the driver who didnt came to the location we told him to come. Also he told me to be on the said location in 5 minutes and he took 20 mins to reach and that to a wrong location. He was coming from sector 5th of dwarka.
                                        After i told him that he havent reached to the location, he just cancelled the ride and transferred it on another uber.
                                        I have several points to made:
                                        1. How to track down the ill treatment of the cab driver
                                        2. Why uber is providing job oppurtunities for such moral less drivers who doesnt have any communication skills and ethos.
                                        3 thirdly why the company is deducting money if the fault doesnt lies with the customer and why we should suffer on the cause triggered by irresposible cab driver.
                                        I am seeking quick response to this complaint and i am saying this with much respect.
                                        Other i will compaint in the consumer court against uber
