I got one of the worst customer services experiences with viveks. I ordered for a fridge and a washing machine totaling to around rs. 1 lakh from viveks anna nagar branch with the commitment from to deliver the items before diwali. Their price was higher than the price quoted by other dealers, still i placed the order with viveks because of the sales person who took special approval from his manager to bring the price close to other dealers and with the commitment to deliver the items before diwali. They had the fridge on display but the washing machine was only shown on catalogue. I placed the order as i didn’t want to waste time behind this. I understood that their commitment is valid only till the order is placed, after the payment, the treatment totally changed and the commitments were not maintained. We have to call and chase them on daily basis. They will commit that the items will be delivered on the same day, but the items will not arrive. Most of the time the sales person will not be available. We have to call at least ten times to catch hold of a sales person, to whom we have to explain the whole story, who will say he will call in 10 min, but there won’t be any call. We have to call and chase again. We have to wait the whole day waiting for the delivery and waste the days. I work in dubai and have come to india for a short vacation. Each and every day is precious for me and major portion of my vacation is spoiled behind this supposed to be simple and straight forward purchase. After a weeks struggle fridge was delivered but we are still waiting for the delivery of the washing machine. I don’t know when they will deliver this item.     I wanted to purchase an electric cooker (1l quantity or less than that). I visited viveks on 20.10.2017. We had selected a panasonic 0.3kg cooker after a long discussion and interaction. They packed, billed and gave it to us along with a haier fridge that we bought. After going home we checked that a larger size electric cooker was packed and billed. We did not check twice at the store because we trusted viveks and for that respect and trust we were back stabbed. Next day when i went to viveks and asked for the cooker of smaller size that i wanted to exchange, a new piece was not available. Just because a new piece was not available of that size they packed a larger size and gave it to us the before day.
    If they had told us that product was not available, we would have had much more respect and trust on them.
    After purchasing a rs.20, 000 fridge and a 2200 for the first time in viveks, and going back to get it exchanged with so much struggle, i have decided to never go back there.

      I purchased this tv on 9th august 2017 at your adyar show room.

      After initial few days, the tv had audio problem - the sound will keep going off and on and we have to switch off and on the tv every time and try again.

      I called up your service centre, who came and checked and told us that the tv has "mother board problem" and need replacement. The service engineer told us that it will take 10days for the spares to reach. This was end augearly sep.

      Since nothing happened, i went to your show room and met madhan kumar on 27th sep. He told me that this will be taken care by next week.
      Today is october 9 and still i am waiting for a resolution.
      Today i called up your customer care who tells me that it will take a week more.
      Please let me have a date for closing this - either i need a replacement set of reimbursement of the money paid.

        Worst costumer experience defective product sold.
        We purchased aqua-guard water purifier on 25th september2017. Bill no -05483 worth of 14000rupees, we clearly told that the salesperson we going to take this product to bangalore it’s possible to send the installeator to bangalore he said yes. So brought the product from viveks showroom near salem, new bus stand. As we are from salem that’s why we purchased it there. We took the product to bangalore, no body came from the company to install it, even though we called so many times after three days when the person came from the company to install the purifier he noticed that and told us filter having major leakage & this was an defective product couldn’t able to use. We called the viveks showroom in salem they told that we give another product but we can`t give the money back, however we ok with that and again we transport the purifier from bangalore to salem. While we handover the purifier to the shop they received it said at present we don’t have another new stock we will inform bangalore viveks showroom to deliver it. We embarrassed that such a bid showroom have no stock of aquaguard purifier. We asked for return the money they are very rude and said that we can’t give money back to you whatever you want to do!!! We called aqua-guard company they approach the showroom to get new machine. Now two week over we called the viveks showroom again they said we will couriered the new product. But we haven’t received yet. They are giving fake information to the customers. My kind request to the other customers don’t buy any product in viveks showroom this may happen you aswell. Avoid this showroom to buy products zero percentage of customer stratification. Please careful and aware about it.

          Hi,

          I am writing this complaint with frustration on the viveks home serve service. I bought a daikin split ac. It comes with free services. I have been awaiting for my ac service for the last one and half month and nothing has been done so far. It has been rescheduling for the last one month but not being done. Though i am mentioning the timings when i will be available, technicians are not ready to come for the service on the said timings.

          Its really a pathetic way of service to the customers and it is a nightmare to get the services done. The technicians are not picking up the calls or always delaying after the appointment time and several follow ups with a very unhelpful call center (Case in point: job order[protected]. They never call the customer to inform of the delay (Which is invariably always). As a result i have been wasting my time waiting for the technician to arrive though i am informing my avaiable timings. When i call to the representatives, i am not hearing other than "sorry for the delay".

            We have purchased 0w800c via bill no [protected] on 5th oct 2015 (Bill amount rs. 96200) from tnagar branch. We were informed we will get 3d glasses 2 numbers and a camera free but free items not in stock. They asked us to collect the free items one month later. After they said due to flood everything ceased and asked to collect after a month.... Finally they said camera not available but will give sound speakers instead and given speakers (But we prefer only camera-any way given something) and asked to collect 3d glasses one month later again. But till now we not receved the glasses (And they said bring your bill, after bringing bill they informed free items not mentioned there-very fraud).               I bought whirlpool fridge from viveks - tnagar.
              They promised to deliver and have whirlpool agent to install the fridge.

              The sales agent name is udaya (Udayakumar)
              He also told me that the person coming to install will also provide the stand for fridge @1500
              A person came home, claimed to come from whirlpool authorized agent - unpacked, plugged in and provided the stand as well and collected the cash. When asked about writing the details on warranty paper and receipt - he replied that those were not required.

              I had a problem with the fridge as it is draining water on the floor. When complained to the sales agent (Udaya) - he then called whirlpool to install & show demo. While i was confused as to why again install, i accepted given someone will come home to look at the problem.

              Only then we realized that the earlier guy was just a fake guy sent by udaya to sell stand and whirlpool was informed about demo only after i complained about the problem.

              This is totally unethical to send strangers to sell stand in the name of whirlpool agent - just to earn small money as commission for stand and stabilizer. If i didnt have this problem, i would have never realized this and my purchase would never have been registered for warranty with whirlpool.

              What about safety of customers?
              On calling udaya, he mentioned that he has nothing to do with this and it's done by vivek's itself.

              Request you to look into this issue and resolve the same.

              I had complained directly to Viveks customer care as well. They were prompt in responding back to my complaint and asked for all information - and promised to revert back in 24 hrs. Once, they spoke to the employee - he got a hint of the issue and immediately came home and fixed the problem in fridge. (Which whirlpool & viveks sales agent were discussing on who will pick the replacement and fix - today / tomorrow etc.) So, this forum helped in fixing one of the issue. But, the issue of sending unknown person as Whirlpool agent has got NO Response. Viveks seemed to have threatened the employee not to come to work unless he gets the issue resolved by me. The employee came home and requested me to have this resolved. So, I have closed this issue in your system. But, the fundamental practice of Viveks and Whirlpool - Trying to Sell Stand & stabilizer and who will make money is STILL ONGOING - each blaming the other for making profit. Even though Whirlpool advertises that stabilizer not required, THEY COME and SCARE Consumers that Fridge will have problem if they dont fix Whirlpool Stabilizer. The agent in turn blames Whirlpool that they have TARGET to achieve, etc. Whenever we buy Washing machine, A/C or Fridge, This is the USUAL SCAM followed by Big Electrical appliance companies (LG, Samsung, Whirlpool) - try to sell the accessories at exhorbitant cost. NOT SURE HOW this will be resolved...

                My name is Sudhir. Am based in Chennai. We bought Daikin AC 1.5 Ton from Viveks, and we got this product based on the customer service assured from Viveks. We are not happy with the product as there is more noise and also some times we get a smell from the AC as we get when a wire is burnt. When we complain about it, nobody is turning up for service and also the customer executives response is ridiculous. Even after I said that I would take it up with the consumer complaints forum or to the social media, am not getting a response. Companies like these should be sealed so that they will not cheat any customers further in the name of assuring self service for the products which do not have or very less customer service centres in the location.

                If possible I would like to go for a return of the product or immediate assistance would be needed.

                  Dear sir/madam
                  I am writing this letter with great disappointment on the service provided by your customer service department on the complaints raised with respect to ac.
                  I purchased diakin airconditioner on 05th may from viveks - tambaram, but there was no cooling after using for just 25 days.
                  I raised the service request with viveks, however i got the response that my name was not listed in the data base and since the name was not listed i may need to undergo paid service.
                  Why do i need to go for paid service though my ac is under warranty period?
                  Why my name was not listed in the data base though i have valid order no?
                  Why do the customer needs to get penalise for the improper control that viveks has?

                  Appreciate your response please.

                  Also i appreciate that any one from the senior leadership team to look at this issue.

                    ர.ரங்கநாதன் என்ற நான் Vivkeks Tambaram கடையில் கடந்த 18.6.2017 அன்று இரவு சுமார் 7.30 மணி அளவில் எங்களுக்கு பிடித்தமான தொலைக்காட்சியை வாங்க விருப்பப்பட்டு குடும்பத்துடன் உங்கள் கடைக்கு வந்தோம்.

                    எங்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி Viveks நிறுவனத்தில் பணிபுரிபவர் (பெயர் தெரியவில்லை - செல் போன் எண் [protected]) என்னென்ன வசதிகள் எல்லாம் இருக்கின்றன என்று சொன்னதின் பேரில் நாங்கள் விருப்பப்பட்டு சாம்சங் ஸ்மார்ட் 32 அங்குலம் தொலைக்காட்சியை வாங்கினோம். அவர் சொன்ன மதிப்பின்படி ரூபாய் 35, 000/- ரொக்க பணமாக செலுத்தினோம்.

                    டெலிவரி என்று எந்த தொகையும் செலுத்த வேண்டாம் என்று சொன்னார். இதற்காக உங்கள் கடையில் இருந்து நாங்கள் பெற்று கொண்ட ஆர்டர்-கம்-ரிசிப்ட் என்ற சீட்டையும் நகல் எடுத்து இத்துடன் இணைத்துள்ளோம்.

                    நாங்கள் வாரண்ட்டி கார்டு கேட்டோம்.வாரண்ட்டி ஒரு வருடம் என்றும், இந்த சீட்டு தான் வாரண்ட்டி என்றும் சொன்னார்கள்.

                    19.6.2017 அன்று உங்கள் கடையில் இருந்து எங்களுக்கு தொலைக்காட்சியைப் பற்றி விவரித்த கடை ஊழியர் (செல் போன் எண் [protected]) வீட்டிற்கு வந்து தொலைக்காட்சியை வைத்து சென்றார். தொலைக்காட்சி பெட்டியின் விலையில் ரூபாய் 200/- குறைவாக மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறி, அந்த தொகையை எங்களிடம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார். அதற்கு அவர் எந்த ஒரு ரசீதும் வழங்கவில்லை.

                    20.6.2017 அன்று சாம்சங் தொழில் நுட்பவியலாளர் வந்து தொலைக்காட்சியை பொருத்தி சென்றார். அப்போது Samsung ஊழியர் தொலைக்காட்சியின் இடது புறம் ஒட்டப்பட்டிருந்த Samsung logo ஸ்டிக்கரை நீக்கினார். ஸ்டிக்கரை நீக்கியபின், அதில் ஒரு செல்லோடேப் (Cello tape) ஒட்டப்பட்டு இருந்தது. அந்த செல்லோடேப்பினுள் கீறல்கள் இருப்பதை 27.06.2017 அன்று தற்செயலாக கவனித்தோம். தொலைக்காட்சியில் உள்ள கீறலை மறைப்பதற்காகவே செல்லோடேப் ஒட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது என்பதை உணர்ந்தோம்.

                    இதன்படி தொலைக்காட்சியை பற்றி முன்பு எங்களிடம் விவரித்த உங்கள் Viveks கடை ஊழியரிடம் (27.06.2017) விசாரித்தோம் (செல் போன் எண் [protected]). ஆனால் அவர் அந்த லோகோ ஸ்டிக்கர் தான் வாரண்ட்டி என்றும், அந்த ஸ்டிக்கரை பிரிக்க கூடாது என்று Samsung manual கார்டில் எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பதாக கூறினார். இது முற்றிலும் தவறான செய்தி என்பதை Samsung வாடிக்கையாளர் சேவை மூலம் பின்பு உறுதி செய்தோம். மேலும் அவ்விதமாக எந்த ஒரு செல்லோடேப்பும் தொலைக்காட்சியில் ஓட்ட பட்டிருக்காது என்பதை சாம்சங் சேவை மைய அதிகாரி உறுதி செய்தார்.

                    மேலும் உங்கள் Viveks கடை ஊழியரிடம் பேசுகையில் ”கீறல் மட்டும் தானே, தொலைக்காட்சி நன்றாக தானே வேலை செய்கிறது” என்று அலட்சியமாக பதில் அளித்தார்.

                    பிறகு Viveks கடையில் மேலாளர் என்று அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட திரு.ரூபனுடன் தொலைபேசியில் குறைகளை விவரித்தோம். தொலைக்காட்சி சீரியல் எண் சாம்சங் பதிவு செய்து விட்டதால் எங்களை Samsung வாடிக்கையாளர் சேவையில் முறையிடுமாறு கூறினார் . அதன் பேரில் நாங்களும் வாடிக்கையாளர் சேவையில் பதிவு செய்தோம் (பதிவு எண் [protected] - [protected]).

                    Samsung தொழில் நுட்பவியலாளர் 1.7.2017 அன்று வந்து தொலைக்காட்சியை பார்த்து புகை படம் எடுத்து சென்றார். சாம்சங் பொறுத்த வரை cello tape தொலைக்காட்சியில் ஒட்டி இருக்காது என்பதை அவரும் உறுதி செய்தார்.

                    1.7.2017 அன்று என் சார்பில் என் மருமகன் திரு.பாலசுப்ரமணியன் அவர்கள் Viveks கடைக்கு நேரில் வந்து திரு.ரூபனிடம் நேரில் சந்தித்து மீண்டும் விவரித்தார். அச்சமயம் எங்களுக்கு தொலைக்காட்சி குறைபாட்டிற்கு பதிலாக அன்பளிப்பு ஏதாவது பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுமாறு கூறினார்.. ஆனால் எங்களுக்கு மாற்று தொலைக்காட்சிதான் வேண்டும் என்றும் பாலசுப்ரமணியன் கூறியுள்ளார். பிறகு தான் சாம்சங் டெலிவரி மேனஜருடன் பேசப்போவதாகவும், எங்களை 3.7.2017 அன்று தொலைபேசியில் அழைக்குமாறு கூறினீர்கள்.

                    03.07.2017 அன்று சுமார் மதியம் 1.30 மணி அளவில் திரு.ரூபனை தொடர்பு கொண்டோம். சாம்சங் நிறுவனத்தில் கீறல்களுக்கு மாற்று தொலைக்காட்சி எங்களுக்கு தர மறுத்திருப்பதை கூறினோம். அவர் விசாரித்துவிட்டு சிறுது நேரம் கழித்து அழைப்பதாக கூறினார் . ஆனால் அவரிடம் இருந்து எந்த அழைப்பும் மீண்டும் வரவில்லை. நாங்கள் பல முறை உங்களை தொடர்பு கொள்ள முயன்ற போதும், எங்கள் தொலைபேசி அழைப்பை அவர் ஏற்கவில்லை.

                    Vivkes கடையில் நாங்கள் வாங்கிய Samsung Smart LED 32 inch தொலைக்காட்சியில் உள்ள கீறல்களுக்கும் அதன் மேல் ஒட்டப்பட்டிருந்த செலோ டேப்பிற்கும் அவர்கள் பொறுப்பேற்று எங்களுக்கு உரிய விளக்கத்தையும் மாற்று தொலைக்காட்சியும் வழங்குமாறு கேட்டு கொள்கிறோம்.

                      Hi Sir/Madam,

                      I have requested for my AC service on 29th April. But no body came for the service. Again I have made another request for the same service for 20th May.
                      Technician came and within 5 mins he told there is an issue with GAS leak.
                      He suggested to take the AC unit to the service center. Now today (22nd May), i have called 3 times for the same and customer service people are telling they will come on 24th May to take the AC unit and it may take 15 days to resolve the issue.

                      In this hot condition, almost it took 1 month for Vivek to check my AC and now i have to wait for 20 days to get the complete service. Huh Pathetic..

                        I had Booker an appointment for Ac service on 18 may 2017 but the technician did not arrive or called on that day no update from home serve I had to call them next day mrng Several times to get an technician after struggle he came at 12:15 pm
                        And said ac fine jus cleaned the filter and charged ₹600. The home serve customer care executive said they will check and do all the test including gas leakage The person who came didn't do any thing other than cleaning the filter which he did in 10 mins . Now today the AC is not cooing up the room

                          I have purchased and Samsung AC they given V-gaurd stabilizer with that but that stabilizer not working properly. Because of that stabilizer i am not able to use my Air-Conditioner.

                          During the purchase they told Stabilizer is complementary but i don"t know that it was an duplicate stabilizer.

                          Need immediate help to change my stabilizer...

                            I bought an Voltas split AC in Selaiyur Viveks 09th Apr 2016. As per the policy they have to do 2 free service every six months within the warranty period which is only one year. The second service they have scheduled on 21 April 2017 exactly after 2 weeks of the warranty period. It got postponed again from their side and finally the technician visited on 3rd May and he claimed that theres a gas leakage and would charge Rs.3500 as it is out of warranty.

                            The call was not scheduled ontime and the Home Serve /Viveks service customer care says they will charge the additional cost because its out of warranty. Worst customer service from Viveks as they do this purposefully to charge extra to the customer.

                            Very frustrated with Viveks. we bought two ACs from Vivek on 21/4/2017 and payments were done on the same day. but the products were delivered on 27/4/2017 and its not installed yet (as of 2/5/2017). Very bad experince with Viveks.

                              I have purchased a tv and stabilizer by order number :
                              Order numer soj16_00319337 from viveks expo conducted in the first week of the month of april.

                              1. I have not received the stabilizer yet after multiple complaints
                              2. No one has turned upto to install the tv
                              3. This tv has setupbox as inbuilt add on, for which airtel dtv setup was provided as offer. No one has turned yet for this also.

                                Am very upset and frustrated with viveks just because i don't see any progress on product installation procedure.

                                I bought carrier ac on 21th april), and product was delivered on 22 rd, but nobody has come yet to install it,
                                I called customer care more than 10 times in last 4 days but they did not act on my complaint, they always say that they wouldarrange for installation from carrier compnay but none of them turned up/

                                  I have taken AMC for my Voltas Inverter AC from Homeserve - Viveks

                                  Raised a request on 15th April 2017 and till date no one had visited or called. I am fed up calling to the customer care team. When contacted the Customer care manager she had assured me to send the technician. But as usual no one had called or visited.

                                  If you guys cant provide service why do you take AMC??

                                    I bought daikin AC on 16th April (Order number:S0J16_[protected], and product was delivered on 18th, but nobody has come yet to install it,
                                    I called customer care more than 10 times in last 10 days but they did not act on my complaint, they always say that they would call me in hour time but never.
                                    i called up the installation customer care and they kept on saying that invoice for my product is not reached them yet and they can not start anything until they receive it. so it is really frustrating and not happy with the way customer care replies for the delay. This is the first product i purchased from viveks and i don't think i would be interested in buying anymore products from viveks.
