I got a call from a number[protected] informing me that my number has won lottery of Rs. 25 lacs. He also asked me to call on a number ([protected]) for further details. when I enquired why is this number of more than 10 digits, he told me that it is a computerised number. When I called on that number, he told me that I have won the lottery which was organised on the occasion of birthday of Vodafone's managing director's son. He asked me to get a recharge of Rs 250 done and I'll recieve rs 500.. He also asked me to switch off my number till tomorrow morning and call him at 9am to provide my a/c number so that the amount can be transferred in my a/c directly. Now when I'm not switching off my number, they are continuously calling me to switch off my number.. Please help! I don't want them to disturb me anymore.

    I offered and convinced very hard to go for a postpaid plan from prepaid, promising to me that there will not be any change to the plan offered. But this is the second time when they started adding separate Data plan in my bill. The first time it was sorted after series of calls, but this time, they are adamant and not willing to take any action and I am forced to pay the bill. It is really pissing off, and I seek help.     We'd like to inform you that 1GB free data without rentals is no longer available & the same has been discontinued as a part of our tariff refresh which means that from time to time some of our tariffs get outdated and from time to time we refresh our tariffs. As confirmed by you that you are in receipt of the SMS initmation regarding the same. Hence GPRS 1GB @149 plan has been activated for the said number and the same will continue.

    Of course you mentioned that, but surely not acceptable, as it was a fake commitment made while convincing customers for the mentioned offer and I will take this ahead.

    And out of force, I have paid the bill as you'll take advantage of your customers since you have the total control with yourself. But this is not ending here.

    It is pathetic that how you can make a consumer make feel so helpless.

    For the good, I ported to Airtel, and have to forcefully clear out all your bills.
    So, the Fake Offer stands!

    I have paid the entire amount, now please let the porting happen!!

      I am using the vodafone number [protected] for almost 4 years and have never made a single payment late. In Dec 2013, I went to Singapore and asked to activate Basic International Roaming. This roaming allows SMS and Incoming calls facility and Outgoing calls and Internet is barred. Since I had a Singapore number provided by my company I was fine with no Outgoing call and Internet. When the bill got generated, they charged me 4300 for Internt in Singapore. Asked them to rectify that and now they are saying that the bill is valid. I have written more than 6 mails to the company, Called more than 20 times to the Customer care and visited Vodafone Store and no one was ready to help me. The Customer care executive acknowledge that BASIC International roaming cannot give Internet facility but they dont help me recify the problem. Now they are threatening me that my number will be forfeited if I dont pay the money.

        On 4/01/2014 Morning, I got a call from [protected] informing me about the lucky draw which i have won..futher they told me to check the sim card 4 digit no. for the conformation that they had given me fake...they told me to call state bank of india [[protected]] and confirm that 4 digit...i called that number and told them..i was shocked that i was getting an call from Pakistan..further they told me to tell my account number where they will transfer the money online...i told them mine and they told me to confirm it after this call..again i called them and asked them then they told me that they can't transfer the balance due to shortage of balance in my account and you have to submit 18000 of cash to State bank's general managers account.. I HAVE PERSONAL REQUEST FROM MY SIDE THAT PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO CATCH THEM TO STOP THESE FRAUDS AND UNWANTED CALLS..

          Hi, I tried recharging mobile online. But always transaction is coming as failed. Tried from vodafone official site as well as Paytm. But not getting recharged. Raised grievance to HDFC for failed transactions. But they replied as no requests are coming to HDFC. Please resolve this as it is affecting most of vodafone customers in Karnataka only. Thanks Tijo

            To whom ever it may concern, I have tried to activate message pack on 17th Jan 2014 and when first when I dialed *444*23# I got error message "connection problem" and next time when I dialed I got successful message, but in morning when I saw my balance I saw that I was charged twice. When I called customer support on 18th Jan, they registered a complaint "[protected]" and I have attached my mobile screen where you can see the same message followed by one more message. I was told that my money will be refunded in the next 48 hours, but its not. Today on 20th Jan I got a call from Vodafone technician named "Vinod" mentioning that I will not be refund and can take benefit of both the sms pack. This is ridiculous. Why should I use two message pack on the same number same month. This is horrible service I have ever received from Vodafone. Being the # one telecom service, they don't have good customer service and I am really dissatisfied with the service. The person on the phone (Vinod) didn't have proper info about my issue and he is saying that I have activated sms pack through customer support. You Vodafone guys should look into your records correctly before talking to customers..Again after that I called Customer serivice compaint # i.e. 198 and was not satisfied with the service. Please help!!!

            As this website was Offline from couple of days. I was not able to comment. I (Deepak) have registered the above complaint and I see still the money is not credited to my account. I am been told by Vodafone Company that money will be credited in 24 Hours sometimes they they tell wait for 48 hours and have waited more than that, but nothing seems to happening. I just call them and they aren't helping me just asking me to wait. In the response to my Complaint, Vodafone replied last time telling it will be processed, but "where is it processed I don't know nor anyone know". Please help!!! It seems I going nowhere but just wasting my time.

              Hello sir, m Rajshree bobade.i am not getting proper resolution from vodafone.it is too much pressuring from your vodafone team.no one is listening my problem Everyone saying only one thing.If my number have tech m 299 rental corporate plan.in which i get 5gb free.but the huge internet charges levied in bill. you all only saying, on the basis of pro data basis the bill is generated.why? And really vodafone Service is like troubling service.it is totally fraudness.so thats why, tommorow i am going consumer forum court to File the complaint.If you are giving Me proper bill by reducing all extra charges thn its ok.and bill should be around 300rs...as per my usage.otherwise Court will see you. Its not a joke to pay 8266rs bill.When i got 5gb free then why should i pay heavy charges for internet. Vodafone making their customer is fool..I dnt want pro rata basis bill.i want bill on the basis of 299rental.in which i got 5gb free.4.48gb usage had been done by me...

              I am using Vodafone post paid mobile number-[protected], it is punjab based Connection.In april i shifted to delhi, so in march ending i went to vodafone store of sector 35 chandigarh to convert my number to prepaid.But there i was promised by the staff that my postpaid plan would be changed to monthly tariff of 150 ruppess where i will get all incoming calls free plus 100 minutes of freeoutgoin calls.But now as my bill has been generated, i found no change of plan and bill has amounted to 1400 rs.As i complained to Vodafone service they registered a telephonic complaint but as they responded to me, my phone was off.Now agian i asked them to sort the matter, instead of registering my complaint they are harrassing me to go back to chandigarh and file a afresh complaint there.First i was harrassed with an bloated bill and now failure to register complaint.Please take the necessary action so that these multinations do not exploit the interests of comman masses.Thanks

                  Hi, To start with it. I have got 4 new corporate connection from vodafone through a call received from their end. In the process of getting connections i revived numerous calls just for details and plan information they gave me all information about the except the names of the plan i agreed to, it seems normal to me as a technical things. Out of 4 connections i wanted a particular Plan A(rental Rs99/month)activated on 3 number and a different Plan B ( rental Rs 499/month) activated on one number. However the agent who came to pick up the documents were in little hurry and was not aware about the plan names i told him rental and he just wrote it on the paper he had my details on. He asked me to sign the the documents and said he will fill the Plan details later. After 7-8 connections activated, however all with Plan B rental Rs 499. I tried calling the customer service and try to get it sorted out no help as they clearly said they cant help corporate connections and advised to visit the mini store. Did as advised visited the vodafone Karol bagh center and got the same response they cant help corporate connection and advised to send email and get it sorted out. Sent an email on 12jan2014 received an acknowledge same time but no response after even 48 hours so wrote another email on 15 still haven't received any response after acknowledge. Please do the required as i am almost tortured with these guys.

                    Dear sir, Mob. No. - [protected] (vodafone) Alternate contact number - [protected] Complaint reference no. as given by your service provider - Service Request Number :[protected] Date of complaint - December 2013 I am Bhavin Shah from Mumbai. My average monthly bill amount is Rs. 250/- on the vodafone mobile number - [protected]. However I have received Rs. 11000/- bill in October month. They say you have used 3GB data instead of 2GB. so 1 GB extra. So Rs. 10000/- extra for additional 1 GB @ 10 paise/10 KB. I am an MBA. I know my usage well and I never use more than 1.5 GB of data. I have not received notification for exceeding my usage or credit limit.My credit limit is Rs. 4000/-. If I had crossed my limit, should not they inform me? They should have discontinued my services of data and voice if I exceeded my usage limits of Rs.4000/-. I have not used 3GB of internet. They are harassing me. Inspite of my asking them so many times as to why you did not inform me if I had crossed my limits(if at all I have), then they send same reply that we have checked and bill amt. is correct. There is no proper reply from them. I assure you I have not exceeded my limits. They have disconnected my number and have sent me legal notice on 17/01/14 for paying 11015.30/-. I have sent to so many mail id's : David.[protected]@vodafone.com / corporate.[protected]@vodafone.com / marten.[protected]@vodafone.in / nodal.[protected]@Vodafone.com There has been no reply from nodal office also. I keep getting same reply from mail id David.[protected]@vodafone.com that we have checked details and its all correct. If it was correct, then why did they offer me to pay less amount of Rs. 6600/- and settle ? If they were right, then they shouldl not offer for any settlement. I have crossed my data usage and hence I shall not pay any single paise extra. Kindly look into it and give me justice. I am suffering since my old number is disconnected. Thank You, Bhavin Shah

                    My concern towards the data charges and credit limit has not been addressed. The mail which I have received tlks the same thing that we have checked and the bill sent to you is correct. It doesnt talk anything else. Please stop wasting my time. I have already told I am going to pay any amount since I have not used data above my limit of 2GB.

                      Receiving Promotional Messages from the "Vodafone Server" in my inbox under the garb of service related.

                      Full DND is active since may, 2013.

                      Messages started in December before New years, 4-5 of them at a time. I complained to the Customer Care, which asked me to call on the DND complain line, and they each bounce it back to the other. The messages continued even after New years. Frustrated I went to the branch office, they registered my issue, and i thought it was resolved, but the messages have started again.

                      i have not subscribed to any offers, and this is outright spamming on part of Vodafone to entice consumers.

                      I request an action be taken in this regard.

                        I had subscribed to mobile no. [protected] in Oct'13 from Saki Vihar Vodafone Store. The Customer Service Officer, Ms. Sarita, mis-represented the facts and sold the new connection saying that with this new number I would be eligible for "GET REWARDED OFFER" as per the gift level/code according to the first three months of billings. After completion of 3 months, on 06-Jan-14 when I sent the sms to 111 as GIFT I, I got a reply "SORRY, SINCE YOU ARE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO THE GIFT SCHEME HENCE YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE OFFER". This has shocked me as far as the transparency level of customer service is extended by the Customer Service Officer, who convinced me for the mobile connection supported by the gift scheme/reward offer. I took this matter to customer care centre and they showed there helplessness and suggested me to contact the Vodafone Store from where the connection was purchased. On 18-Jan-14, the store senior manager Mr. Sandeep also denied for any resolution of the mistake done by the Customer Service Officer. This contradicts the corporate slogan "HAPPY TO HELP". I had submitted the customer feedback form with this problem at the Vodafone store. I want immediate and action on the lady Customer Service Officer, Ms. Sarita for the callous attitude in her duties and the cheating done to the customer.

                          Dear Vodafone Team, My name is Dhiraj Khare and I am using two different numbers of vodafone karnataka from last two years. [protected] and [protected]. I have called my vodafone relationship manager last month to get 3G plan activated on my number [protected], but i came to know that vodafone is not able to do that in karnataka and he forced me to use 2G connection without any charges (please note without any additional charges -- he confirms) Now, when I saw my bill it was unusually high i believe there is some thing wrong. Hence, i request an audit for the system and given me a revised report. Any delay in this action will force me to launch a consumer complaint against vodafone.                             Hi Team Vodaphone, I have taken below 2 nos with mention plan. [protected]- Plan 249(which include 400 minutes+1GB data) [protected] – Plan 650(which will offer 3GB data) Problem 1 - For first 2 months you guys charged data plan(650_3Gb) at both nos and your local customer service team told me that this extra charge will be return but as of today after six month passed I didn’t get any amount. Problem 2 – last month (Nov’13)Vodfone India charged extra 144 rs for data on [protected] and customer service team + call center team don’t have any answer. Problem 3- After floating things in B&W I got confirmation on Problem 2 that extra amount will be return but again smart guys charge extra for data (2nd time)+late fee on both nos. This company has made a perfect delta to confuse customer like no answer from local team, customer care phone executive don’t have answer and B&W reply will come useless like it is your mistake to choose Vodafone. I advise everybody to be careful with this company or take prepaid rather than post paid no Otherwise you will be getting screwed financial by every Vodafone smart fellow. Thanks

Rest assured, our billing system accurately monitors and records the usage of each SIM card thereby ensuring complete security and reliability. Hence, we do not charge you for usage/calls/downloading/SMS those are not made or received on your SIM card.

                              We make rechage online by sbi debit card on 13.Jan-2014.

                              But we do not get amount in our sim from monday till today friday.

                              We call help line and they tolerate the same and suggest us tro go to our nearest vodafone stores.

                              After that we went to vodafone store and their person says us that they can do nothing for this.

                              I[censored] can do some thing pls help and solve our problame of recharge amount.

                                I already had faced great inconvenience, during the activation of my number [protected] and now again with the internet plan and charges for [protected]. For the month of dec, I had received a high bill amt of INR 1840, with the major charges being done for my internet charges. My colleagues have been have been offered discounted plans on 3G (e.g 125 for 1GB) and when I checked with your team, I was told that I am not eligible for the same. I already informed vodafone to stop the services, but they are still charging and have again sent a bill of 1540. This is highly disappointing and this bad service has occurred 2 times in succession.

Further, you were billed for excess usage and got the benefits of 300 MB offer which he had opted for Rs.100/- plan. Hence we are unable to reverse the charges.                                 Yes it is the same with me too, why are we being victimized? How to stop this? The same goes for Reliance net connect data card as well.
                                I am trying to say, that inspite of me telling you guys to stop the internet charges (due to high rates) you guys have not stopped and are still billing me. How do I get liable to pay, inspite of me telling you guys to stop the service ?..I have sent N number of emails to you guys, informing you to stop the internet service.
                                My phone service has been stopped ...can I know why ..I have clearly said ..vodafone has to reverse the excess internet charges and I will pay the correct amount.

                                    Issue - No network in Greater Noida, Gautam Bugh Nagar, UP Compaint # [protected] was submitted on 11-Dec-2013. So far there has been no progress.                                       My Vodafone Postpaid connection has been barred of out going calls, the reason for that they has said is "address verification negative". I didn't receive any calls, no one came to residence and none came to my office address as well. I have raised the request thrice and every time address verification is negative; without even being verified. Thank you Vodafone your are providing a excellent pseudo customer service, I felt you guys had an excellent network coverage but this is really pissing me off. I have no intention to put my complaint here, but my out going is barred and you guys have a very good customer service; who care very little about customer and what is their issue. Is your customer service policy like, get the customer, give him the bill and only ask him when he doesn't pay the bill; whatever happens to the customers connection in between is not your problem.                                       Hi my self sagar and i am using vodafone number from last 6 years .but some days before i have purchased a new number but a person named Mr.Nitin which is your executive called me and asked my billing address as he is standing somewhere near of my house but when i tried him to understand the address of my house then he replies "ye mera kaam ni hai aur bhi kaam hai mujhe yaha aake verification karao "

                                        Hi Vodaphone,

                                        Cell No: [protected] was used by Twinkle Shah and I am writing this email on her behalf.

                                        Sorry for the use of harsh language that you would encounter across the email. But it is because of the frustration of receiving fake bill amounts for 3 times.

                                        Reason: I received the below email from Vodaphone: We wish to inform you that even after repeated intimations; there is an overdue amount of Rs 1571.05 against your Vodafone mobile phone number [protected] and Relationship number 1.9807928

                                        Background: I had opted for Vodaphone postpaid card. My first billing was Rs1000+ which was way beyond my usage. I spent 2 hours in Vodaphone customer care after which they realized that my actual bill was approx. Rs300. The same story was repeated in the 2nd billing cycle. I again spent frustrating 3hours to get the issue resolved. The same thing happened in the 3rd billing cycle. I called up customer care and told them to generate genuine bill and not fake bill which is not more than Rs300. But no response from their end.

                                        Question: What the hell does Vodaphone think? We customers are [censored] free to keep visiting Vodaphone stores and waste 3hrs for the mistakes that you commit in the billing cycle?? The email shows I need to pay Rs1571.05. I called up Lalita Sahu on [protected] as per the email and explained the issue. She said I can negotiate to Rs800. WTF!! Is this some sabji market? My expense is Rs300. Why the [censored] should I pay Rs800?? Moreover I am told that if you get bill amount higher then what you have spent, you need to visit customer store. Do you think I am fool to visit your stores 3 time waste 3 hours to give amount to you? Why the hell should I pay late fees for wrong bills that you provide??

                                        Solution: Give me the itemized bill and I am ready to clear the actual payment. Else attach this email and close my account permanently. Hence fourth I should not receive any mails from Vodaphone. I am trying my best to resolve the issue and close the Account from my end. If Vodaphone is not [censored] interested then I can’t help it in this case.
