Vodafone — unauthorized deduction of balance

i suddenly got a message that my caller tunes and miss call alert have been activated and for this i have been charged for rs 30 each, , , , but i have never asked for these services and i have never responsed to their promotional calls or messages, , , when i contacted the customer care they said that, , i personally requested for those services, , which is not true, , my number is [protected], , , please take some initiatives..
I bought my sim recently (within a span of 3 months) and had the offer on std calls - Re 1 for 3 minutes. All my calls since have been costing me accordingly.
Since yesterday however my balance was deducted such that it became -46 from Rs 29.
I spoke to the executives today and they said it was a mistake and my balance will be restored to the amount it was supposed to be.
When this didn't happen I called them again, they were indignant and refused to acknowledge the prior complaint and contested that there was no such plan activated even though the executive I spoke to in the afternoon gave me details and call costs of my previous calls that proved the activation of the std plan.
I wasn't provided with any identification for my complaint/query despite asking for it neither was my problem solved or my balance restored.

I am unable to make any calls due to insufficient balance since.

My Mob No. is [protected]. An amount of Rs. 99 has been duducted without notifying me from my account on the name of d2c ndtv. I talked to customer service and they say it can not be refunded. It was without my consent and I want to file complaint for this unauthorized deduction. I want the money to be refunded back to my account.

    I have been using 3 G services of Vodafone since the 9 months at least. In the last billing that I received they overcharged me by 2000 Rs for internet charges. When I called the helpline they informed me that 3 G services were inactive on my phone since 8th nov and I was charged as per 2G rates. The data consumed by me was 1.1.GB where in the plan that I subscribe to is for Rs 250 with 1 GB free. I have the messages from Vodafone showing that the services were activated on 5th nov. I have written almost 8 complaints and have complained on their happy to help nos a couple of time but they are sending me standard mail for all my query. I have also written to the Nodal officer but no solution is coming out. Also they started the tape which starts off for non payment of bills before every call is made, which is quite a Nuisance. I see this as a pure scam from the telephone operator since they want people to get tired of the replies and pay off the money instead of solving the problem. I have all mails, msgs stored with me to counter their wrongdoings. Let me know if your company can assist me in this .

    well vodafone 3g if good.. but customer care services are growing better day by day...
    you can try idea 3g which gives 1GB for rs. 246 or DOCOMO which provides cheapest plans in prepaid like 60 mins free 3G in Rs.11 / 600 MB in Rs. 89 / 3GB in Rs.351 and many more

      my vodafone cell no is [protected] i recharged sms pack of Rs 36 on 01/01/2014 when i recharged immidiatly i recived a massage from company.Hello loc/national SMS have been successfully credited in your a/c valid for 30days. then i sent 120 sms to my freinds .then company deduct the sms charge from my main balance.(RS.250) hows that possible.

            i am using vodafone prepaid from long duration, but since last 3-4 months receiving ad call from [protected] and [protected] and many more number starting with 1440, this is so irritating even after not receiving calls..they keep calling at any time of day and night. these calls are so bugging, not even spare me on national, public or weekly holiday. i request Vodafone please stop this, do publish your ads somewhere else.

              Mob no - [protected]. Gujarat circle U have deducted 155rs from my account balance for auto renew of 1GB 2G data plan.on 29/12/13. But i dont want it & it has been auto renewed without intimation. Pls cansel it & refund my money . Or else I am moving to consumer court. Aso stop auto renewal .
              well vodafone 2g is good.. but customer care services are growing better day by day... cant say anything

                Dear Vodafone,



                I got int touch with this agency named Reliable communication - Pune (Authorized dealer vodafone essar group) - Dipti Patil (Mobile Number : [protected])

                And Ayaan (Mobile number : [protected]) came to my place for getting my mobile plan changed from prepaid to postpaid.

                He gave me receipt and took 300Rs, along with other documents (Driving license, electricity bill, scanned copy of PAN card) and said that they will give me 249 Silver plan which has 500minutes talk time, 300MB data plan 2G and 300SMS.



                After few days i get a call from the verification person and i had already mentioned dipti that i am going out of town. But still the verification person came and said that the customer was out of town.



                And later in couple of days i get a call from some person that do not use your phone due to some technical issues. And later he says that they have put 650Rs data plan instead of 249 silver as asked.



                Now when i came back to pune, i got in touch with Ayaan and tried calling Dipti several times. But her number always gave a message that this number cannot accept any incoming calls. I told ayaan to convey about the verification thing to Ritu (Mobile number : [protected]) so she could arrange for the verification person to come to my place.



                Then she said she will ask Rahul (Mobile number : [protected]), and since monday, i have following up with him and he just kept me assuring that he has asked the person to and he will call me...and till now i have called Rahul for almost 20 times and he never responded back. Ritu, Rahuls numbers are always playing message that their number is switched off or cannot take call.



                This was the worst ever experience and so i called Vodafone complainsts only and they said they cannot accept any complaint as i am not verified customer as yet.

                and he gave me this email address.



                So today i went to sinhagad road agency and they said that tomorrow the verification person will come to my place between 11am ~ 2pm.



                This was the worst service i got from vodafone. Where there was confusion right from the agency and then in the office too. Absolutely unacceptable ...totally disgusting service...



                Hope i dont face ne problem after today...I got my number ported from Reliance to Vodafone thinking i will get better service...But after this experience...i doubt if vodafone has even 1% of professionalism and ever respect their customers time and money...



                Looking at their professionalism, I am also not sure if the agency wouldnt use my submitted documents for any other purpose...

                ATLAST...they got the correct plan only after i sent request for porting to other carrier. They also waived the bill that they had added to my number. After 2 weeks of my patience, time and money spent, continuous follow up...ATLAST i got my number activated and the plan that they promised..

                Seriously !! i mean after telling this in such detail...and continously following up with Rahul (being patient) these people call me and ask what exactly is the problem ...i mean isnt that completely frustrating for a customer like me who has been following up with Rahul ([protected]) and calling him 100s times...if i keep the count it would definately come to 100...and he also getting irritated and telling me to follow up with the call centers...to whom i have to keep explaining what the problem is...these people are absolutely shameless...
                they had offered me 240 Silver and actually gave a data plan...and then changed to Value 249...
                dont they have all the documents with them to understand...and now i get sms..that i am not reacheable and give us detail about your complaint by calling 111...WTF !!
                such shameless..unprofessional...and pathetic service and people...
                these guys are ridiculous...they send me bill of 231 for the phone that i never used...which got activated only 2-3 days back...

                  Hello, I am from Bellandur area of Bangalore. From[protected], the vodafone network has severe problems in this area. The outgoing & incoming calls are not getting connected most of the times. Only the SMS works always. On registering the complaint with 198, got a feedback time of 3rd Jan, 2014. This resolution time is quite late, since the users in the entire area are affected. Request the higher authorities in Vodafone to accord priority to resolve this issue.

                  The vodafone network has become totally unoperable in the area Green Glen layout, Bellandur and having all sorts of problems like Calls not getting connected, No Audio on calls etc. Even after several months of poor performance and complaints from multiple customers Vodafone could not attend and resolve these issues. We are planning for a massive disconnection and switchover to some other better service provider.

                    Today after visiting Vodafone Mini store, owned by Mehta Telecom, Manek Building, Nr. Goandevi Temple, felt that is distributed by Vodafone to ‘Gunda’ or ‘Bhailog’. I went there for new prepaid connection and after having enquiry & filling up form thought of not to go with prepaid instead will go for corporate post paid connection. So I simply said I don’t want to have prepaid connection will take it from my office because of this owner lost his temper and started shouting and abusing me. I told executive out there is this responsible behavior then he was like whatever owner does is correct and simply ignored my complaint. If customer denies any thing on last minute do you give mini store owners tight to abuse? I have recording of this abuse and initially thought of going to Police but thought of complaining Vodafone for such abuse and resolve issue amicably. Kindly help to get an apology over phone or written from owner and will close this matter here otherwise I would be forced to take legal action if issue is not resolved.                       Respected all, I paid rs500/- to vodafone collection agency for bill payment and they said that rs128/- will bill waived off...my actual amount was rs627.90/- after paying my amount they have not waived the rs128/- and on 25/12/2013 my nxt bill will genret with this again i have to pay this amount plus next bill with late payment charges...what is all this happing i want this amount to be waived off and late payment charges which will genret in next bill i.e bill dated 25/12/2013..the agency name is AGILE BUSSINESS, collector name:rafiq, and his number is [protected], after makeing calls to him he just say it will be done...is this the way customer are treated below im attch my bill payment reciept kindly help me in this mater...My number is [protected] Thanking You

                      Respected all from Vodafone...kindly waived this late payment charges..because the waiver is given after 25/12/2013 so it is included in bill kindly do the needfull...the rs100/- charged against late payment charges...and this is not my mistake...it was done with vodafone collection people...

                        Dear all,
                        A message from very very frustrated customer,
                        Myself Ashok Kandalkar and my Vodafone number is [protected], I have so many issues with Vodafone service which I received within last 4 - 5 months
                        1) Basic International roaming services -
                        within last 4 months I went overseas 3 times and every time before going there I activate "Basic international roaming services" but surprisingly every time it didn't work and every time when I returned back I bring this issue with Nodal officer and Appellate officer, each time they ensure me that next time I won't face this issue but every time I face same issue,
                        it's only last time after following over the email from overseas location for not able to get the network after one week they resolve this issue.
                        no matter in which situation you are they takes their standard time to reply over the emails which is 2 days (need to mention - working days)

                        2) Every time after returning back from overseas faced issues of no network (even though I switch off my handset many times to update the location, removed sim card & put back but all these tricks didn't work ) after 4 ~ 5 hours followup with customer care executives from another alternate number it worked

                        3) Every time after returning back from overseas faced issues with internet not working even though network is working, for this issue also had follow up with Nodal officer for more than 2 days and after that this services resumed

                        the way nodal officers (Mr. Sandip, Ms.Sonali) and Appellate officers (Ms. Harini and Mr. Ankit) handles all these issues are very irresponsibly, they blindly commit that the issue will get resolve by within 1 or 2 days, will arrange call back, will send email to update on this, someone from technical department will call me
                        but no one calls back and have to call them again to get the updates on the issues.

                        if customer is getting so irresponsible response from Nodal officers and Appellate officers where should customer goes.
                        (I have tried so many times to reach to Appellate officers on the number[protected] on 23rd & 24th December 2013 but no one answer the phone )

                        very very frustrated with Vodafone services and finally decided to switch to other network, no point to stick to such service provider who doesn't value it's customers.

                          My vodafone number is [protected] and i am from mumbai. Vodafone company is harassing and asking for the charges for internet usage, and not ready to give any details. Outgoing services are blocked and still asking for the payment. They are not ready to give me the details of where i have used internet (As per the conversation - they are informing that when it is used, but not ready to inform where it is used), and only asking for the payment, also not ready to give me any complaint number / docket number. There is a possibility that, tomorrow vodafone can inform me that i have surfed some vulgar / porn websites which is prohibited and ask for some ransom amount also, as per their wish. Vodafone can give me details of mobile numbers or land line numbers (Itemized bill) where i have called, from where i have received the call, which handset i am using, my location etc, but not ready to give me the details of internet usage and try to cheat and ask for more money. I have send an email to nodal officer, but came to know from the vodafone call center person that the reply received from call center person and nodal officer will be the same. I have also informed them in writing that, they can disconnect my number [protected] temporarily till the dispute is over, but they are not replying to the same also and giving diplomatic answers and skip the main questions. Company is harassing me by calling for payment reminders, but not ready to give me any details. Now they are informing me that data usage is more. I have already informed them in writing that they can disconnect my line temporarily till the matter is solved, but they are not giving any reply to the same and asking for more money. Their executives are not ready to give any complaint number also which is a violation of government law. They misguide in email writing. They are calling me for settlement but not ready to give me in writing and asking for commitment and demanding more money, it like an extortion and public goondas demand. Vodafone india company seems confused how much to be ask for the payment from the customer.

                            Dear Sir/Madam I have been using vodafone([protected]) for the last 3 years. Now the moment I have changed my handset to HTC DESIRE, I have been getting nearly 20 messages from the number "50", of vodafone promotional services, which is really annoying. I submitted a complain on their website and googled the problem to find a solution, but coudnt find one. Please look into the complain and reply back. I have registered for DND since long, and this problem started coming just 10 days ago.

                              Today I got a call from Vodafone complaints dispute resolution stating that I have been given a credit of 2806, which is actually more than what should have been given. This was in response to my email stating that their calculation of INR 2806 is wrong as they considered 12 months as base, the correct figure is 3230 as the base is 13 months.

                              The executive argued stating the actual calculation being 899 * 7 months = 6239 and hence, balance is[protected] = 706!!

                              This is highly preposterous and cheating !!!

                              I am attaching a picture showing the evidences clearly stating that Vodafone is a cheat.!

                              I am very disappointed at their non professional conduct and more over ill treatment to valued customers...

                              I am Raising this as a new complaint since I trusted vodafone on their responses and marked the earlier complaint as resolved..!

                                Vodafone India has charged me for the BBM plan and is not providing me with the internet service from past 4 days and today the 5th day (It means that my Rs.12-15 are wasted without any use). Despite of making calls to the customer service center of theirs the people people working over there are unable to solve the problem or not forwarding my call to the senior executives. I called 3 times to the customer center and the people are not responding nicely. Sometimes their computer gets hanged or due to technical problem they are unable to forward the call.                                   I haven`t used my 3G dongle (no [protected]) for a few months and recharged it on Dec 6th. When I tried to connect to internet it is giving the message "Service Not Activated". I called the customer care who suggested to visit the vodafone store. The executive in vodafone store told me to recharge with 10/- in order for it to work. As I still couldn't use my dongle, I wrote Nodal officer in mumbai. They called me and told that since recharge is successful and connection is not active it is problem with the SIM and told me to take new SIM. I visited the vodafone store again and bought a SIM by spending additional 30/-. Still my dongle didn't work. When I again wrote to Nodal, they responded today(after 4 days) saying that my service is deactivated as i didn't use dongle for 3 months. Why they couldn't tell me this thing and correct the problem when I contacted the vodafone care/store for the 1st time? Now when I asked them to increase the validity that is lost while running around vodafone customer care and reimburse extra money spent on useless trials they suggested they are replying that "they regret that they cannot do that now". This clearly shows vodafone customer care is not trustworthy or reliable.

                                    I have called 20 times to customer care, and have been on hold for more than 2 minutes everytime. Still without solution of my problem. I am going to post it on facebook, twitter everywhere ... I have to change my email id for EBILL. But unable to change it. As unable to send the message to 111 - dont know why. Have reinserted my sim. No results. Have checked my message centre number still no results. Customer care is doing nothing to solve it.. I am going to complain and case on vodafone as my all private data will be mailed to some other person. right one is : [protected]@gmail.com but they have written it : gopal.[protected]@gmail.com How foolish they are without asking from me they updated my email id. and they are sucking me ., ,

                                      Hi, I am facing problem of No / poor data network in one particular area (Vaishali nagar in Indore). Incidently my residence is here, hence major time of day I don't get data network. I have complained on this issue 3 times to Vodafone call centre, they are neither understanding the problem nor showing any intent to understand. I am repeatedly told to refresh settings or reboot mobile. I have done it still no improvement. This problem is not there when I move away by about 500 metres on any direction. Your help is required to make Vodafone realise customers' actual issues.

                                        i found that rs.49 has been deducted from my main balance. When i tried to find where it was gone it showed that it was gone in some"symboitic game download ". ALTHOUGH NO MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED BY ME. when i talked to costumer care she(ms Pooja Kashyap) was very rude and refused to tell me the details. i called again then the same person picked the call. i inquired about that then she again was refused to file a complain and kept on telling that it is my mistake and can not be recovered. i asked about the service that was activated then she said there is no service means my total money will be total waste.No recovery, no service. i asked her to refer me to her seniors then she said she can not do that.
