Dear Sir/madam, my name is Bhupendra Kumar Bairwa bhupendra.[protected]@gmail.com. My Vodafone No is [protected]. I am disappointed with your service. I am having issues related to my Vodafone postpaid number [protected].Vodafone care executive has done faradism with me. The details are as fellows On 22-Oct-2013 I call your customer care to know about some roaming offers your executive told me that there is a plan which is for Rs 75 and the benefits of this plan is that your incoming call free will be free while you are on roaming. He also told me that I can close this plan any time and the charges will be applicable for the days when this plan activated. He told me that if I use this plan for 5 Days then the charges will be (75/30)x5 only not full month charge i.e. 75. I told him to activated this plan & he told that the plan will be activated from midnight. From 23-10-13 to 03-11-13 I was on roaming on Mumbai-Karnataka-Rajasthan. When I Saw my Bill for Nov 13 I was totally shocked as according to their commitment they are not giving me the tariff plan benefits they promised on my number before plan activation. They charged full rates on roaming incoming calls & no single paisa discount on roaming incoming calls and also charged their tariff rent as Rs. 20. I call customer care executive ARVIND YADAV on 29-11-13 & told everything to him he told me that he take my complain and arrange call back from concern department within 24 Hrs. He gave me Comp. No. [protected]. Nobody contacted me in 24 Hrs. I again call customer care executive PRASHANT 30-11-13 & told him everything. He told me that he is very sorry for that, & Now he will arrange call back from concern department within 24 Hrs. Again nobody contected me in 24 Hrs. I again call customer care executive on[protected] he told me that he is very sorry for that & transfer my call to The Flore Supervisor RAMANAND . Mr. Ramanand also told that he is very very sorry for than. He told me that he will again lock my complaint & arrange call back from concern department with in 24 Hrs. He gave me Comp. No. [protected]. Again 48 Hrs passed but nobody contacted me. I again call customer care executive KRISHAN on 03-12-13 he told me that my complaint is in progress. I told him to transfer my call to his senior he transfer my call to Flore supervisor DARSHAN . Mr Darshan told me the same thing & gave me a New Comp No.[protected] & told me to wait for 24 Hrs. Again 48 Hrs passed but nobody contected me. I again call customer care executive MANISH on 05-12-13. He transferred my call to His Manager Mr. AHMED . Mr Ahmed told me that the concern dept. mail to him & says that the roaming plan benefits are given at the time of bill generation & U close your plan before the bill generation. I told him that your customer support executive should explained this thing to me, He did not told me such thing. I also told him to check call recording of[protected] if your executive explained me about this then I can pay 10 times of my bill. He told me that he is very sorry for that, he also told that the fault was our executive & serious action already taken against him. He told that he cannot do anything for me and U have to pay full bill. Its my request please look into the matter and give benefits according your my tariff plan & was promised by your executive. Do not disappoint customers you should think you are because of customers that are using your network. Such a big firm has given you facilities for satisfying customers not for disappointing customers. I mail this complaint to following VODAFONE care maid ids vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com, nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com, appellate.[protected]@vodafome.com, Nodel.[protected]@vodafone.com, appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com on[protected] but I still not received any response from Vodafone side till the time.. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE THEY ARE...

    Hi I am not at all using internet on my mobile though each month Vodafone charge me Rs 49 as Downloading charges. If you see each bill data download in KB for all bills is zero. How come vodafone charge me Rs 49/- each bill, though I am not at all downloading anything from Internet on my phone. Number [protected] [protected]@hotmail.com Request you to revert back my charges.     I got call from someone with number [protected] saying that he is person from consumer court and vodafone is paying back charges.
    he is asking for my bank details, I would like to know if that person is really from Vodafone or any fake person.

      Hi, I'm using Vodafone from last 5-6 years. This time when I was on roaming, I got message that I will be charged for 2G internet if I'm not having any internet pack, but as I was having 5GB internet pack I was using internet as I used to do before while on roaming. They sent me huge bill including around 850 Rs for GPRS, when I checked with them, they said I used it on IDEA network, I have not made any manual selection, they might have automatically switched me to that network and not informed me about the charges. This is ridiculous to pay such huge amount.

      Hi,

      Just saying that charges are accurate doesn't make any sense, whats the use of taking internet pack, and why vodafone is not sending any sms if any extra charges are incurred on something.

      Just switching any customer to different network and then asking to pay doesn't make sense.

      I will put my case in consumer forum, and I will also go for MNP.

      I'm using Vodafone from last 5-6 years but this is very frustrating behavior from Vodafone.

        Sir,

        I am Sachin Sood from Punjab, is using a vodafone number [protected] for 2 years. I received the bill of the month of October 2013 during the month of November 2013, which is of Rs. 753/-. On watching the bill ussage details I have come to know that there are internet ussage charges of Rs.536.05, which are for the dates 28-30 September 2013. These charges are of the month of September 2013 are due in the month of October 2013. Sir I want to tell you that I have Rs.199 plan o[censored]n-limited internet ussage of vodafone during the month of September 2013.

        In this regard I have made a online complaint to vodafone for the wrong charges and got complaint number 50419304 and the representative of vodafone has told me that there are wrong charges for the same and will be reduced from the bill after 30.11.2013 in the bill of November 2013. But on receiving the November 2013 bill there are no such reduction for the same. So I again contact online customer care and request for the same but he told me that these charges are genuine and cannot be reduced.

        Sir, I got the same problem during the month of May June 2013 and got solved and the company had refund me all the excess amount. But I experienced that the vodafone company is always cheating the people.

        So I request you to refund me the excess charges of my bill and also charge a big penallty for such frauds of Vodafone.

        Expecting justice from you and waiting for a favourable reply.

          Last month I got a message that a "biscoot.com" service has been been activated on my mobile and weekly Rs. 35 will be deducted. I immediately called customer care and deactivated this service. Your customer care representative told me that you might have clicked a link on your phone and hence this payment of Rs. 35 can not be waived off. I don’t remember clicking any such link on my mobile. Can you please explain if clicking a link activates a service without my prior permission then why is Vodafone supporting such phishing websites. I want to inform you that I received my bill for the period[protected] to[protected] and saw that Rs. 70 for charged for the "BISCOOT SERVICES". I understand that I am not the only one facing this problem and many Vodafone customers have been charged with this service without their prior permission. This is really disappointing from a reputed firm like Vodafone. And to add more I again got a message from Vodafone care that "knickknack.in" service has been activated and Rs. 35 will be charged weekly. I'm fed up receiving such messages from vodafone and wrongly charging for them without having downloaded anything. When I wrote to the customer care all they have to say is you have downloaded this service and hence this amount can not be waived off. I'm highly diappointed and angered with the response. I just want my hard-earned money back.

          Same happend with me . KnickNack service got activated automatically on my vodafone postpaid number and 70 rs added in my bill for two week. I want my money back.
          Same happened with me. KnickNack & Hello1 TV service got activated automatically on my Vodafone post paid number before 2-3 days and. I got message in Span folder before 2-3 days for KnickNack service. So, I would not care @ that message. But when I received 2nd one message for Hello1 TV Value added service message, I talked with customer care. But he also told me, while using internet this 2 services got activated. I don't know how they are permitting without confirmation of me. I don't know whether Vodafone have charged me for these 2-3 days or not. But I have deactivated both services.

          Vodafone has to look after on this matter.
          Same biscoot store pack service is activated on my phone without my concent... its pathetic that so many people are facing similar issues and still Vodafone have their stereo type answers... Vodafone should contact me for this..
          I too got the same problem.
          After when I recharge then I got one message telling that the Biscoot Store Service has been activated and deducted 45 from my account.
          Even em facing the same issue.
          Some Biscoot store, fashion bunny and Mneeds was activated without my consent.
          Customer Care guys insisted that it's a 3rd party website and cannot waive off the amount.
          Such fishing activities supported by Vodafone is intolerable.
          I wish to lodge a complaint or file a case against these guys.
          How do I proceed ?
          I also receive this biscoot store msgs again and again every 15 days every time my money gets deducted without my consent ..can't trust Vodafone services anymore would change the subscriber soon and will suggest others also to do the same

          I just want to say to Vodafone people that we are not illiterate, who will not ask the question on our deduction like many other indians do and you all keep on making money like this. This is because TRAI made dnd regulation and now you are doing saying pop up, good found new loop hole.

          I was called customer care. and inform to them to deactivate this service. but still this service is not deactivated.

          - and also they replayed, this amount will refund with in 2 hours. but still this amount also is not refunded and service also not deactivated.

          They are doing Fraud...

            Pls find the complaint mail forwarded to Vodafone corporate care Chennai. The customer care officer said Itemized bill is free and the same is updated in the system but call received from [protected] stating the itemized is chargable from Jan hard copy is 50rs and email copy is 25rs, when i taken the connection they said its life time free and i have taken four connections, even though signal strength is very poor i have used Vodafone and paid the bill correctly, even last month again raised a complaint on signal strength (complaint no : [protected] ), but no use one field officer came to my home and checked the signal strength and said sorry sir the signal strength is very poor that's the reason and soon they resolve this issue, but after visit no one responded again i have called Mr.Madan nodal officer regarding signal strength, he said sorry sir the issue wont get resolve quickly it takes 6 - 8 months to get resolved, i asked till that time you want me to pay the bill or what, he said for that he cant do anything i have to pay if i use or idle, this is the response i have get being a vodafone customer, they showing in advertisement signal strength is very good so take Vodafone connection, but all is lie I'm residing in madipakkam which is a city limit only in that area itself no signal then how they cover all areas, so they cheating the people by giving false promises and advertisements. Pls don't take vodafone, other networks like Airtel, Aircel is good.

            I am Vinoth G holding Mobile No.'s [protected] / 234 / 235 / 236. On 27 Nov '13, I had received a message stating,

            "Introductory Offer of Free Itemised Bill (IB) is valid till Dec '13. IB will be charged Rs. 50 from Jan Bill".

            Today, when I contacted the service number, one of your staff Mr. Sundaram, informed me that service of IB is updated as Life time free.

            Could you please clarify me whether my future statements will be charged with Rs. 50 or not?

            Further, past one year we had an signal issue problem. We had made many complaints and recently one of your staff physically visited my house and resolved the issue as "No Tower in this area and there is no plan as of now to initiate tower as further approvals required to do the same".

            Till you get approvals to install new tower, what should I do with this issue. Can you provide Booster facility so that the signal issue will be tackled such time.

            Request you to revert me asap for my above issues.

              Dear sir, This is regard to my purchase of vodafone mobile connect dated 30 November 2013 with sim which cost 1750 INR . In which the sahni communication retail shop has address Gf-29 Jyoti Shikhar, District Centre, Janak Puri, Janak Puri, New Delhi, DL 110058 [protected] I had purchase the same product the person from retail shop suggested me to bye and you will get 3g data for one month free cost also you can access from Wednesday onwards. today is Saturday no service benefit i hv received from his side. Please resolve my complaint if not the i will have another option. Also the Shani communication staff told me to call to if not activated and for any service request Mr Gaurav telephon no who is working on vodafone no is [protected], [protected], they are not responding me very well .                 OM SAI RAM Dated : 7th December 2013 To TRAI CC : THE NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION RESPECTED SIRS/ MADAM, I TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO HIGHLIGHT HOW VODAFONE IS CHEATING THE PUBLIC AND EATING AWAY PUBLIC MONEY . I HAD TAKEN 2 PREPAID CONNECTIONS IN NOVEMBER 2013 FROM RAGHULEELA MALL VODAFONE STORE IN BORIVLI. THE NUMBERS GIVEN TO ME WERE : [protected] AND [protected] WHEN I PURCHASED THE SIM CARDS, I WAS TOLD TO "USE" THE SIM CARDS WITHIN 90 DAYS OR ELSE THE CARD WOULD BE DE-ACTIVATED. NO OTHER INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO ME. I ACTIVATED THE NUMBER [protected] AND REQUESTED THE OPERATOR TO ACTIVATE THE OTHER NUMBER ALSO [protected] BUT THE OPERATOR REFUSED TO ACTIVATE THE SECOND NUMBER. AS I DID NOT NEED THE SIM CARD IMMEDIATELY I KEPT THE SIM CARD WITH MYSELF. NOW WHEN I NEEDED THE SIM CARD ONE MONTH LATER, I TRIED TO CALL UP 117 TO ACTIVATE THE CARD BUT COULD NOT DO SO. I CALLED UP [protected] AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE DOCUMENTS HAVE NOT REACHED THEM AND TO GO TO THE NEAREST VODAFONE CENTER WITH THE DOCUMENTS. THIS WAS POSSIBLE SINCE BOTH THE SIM CARDS WERE PURCHASED AT THE SAME TIME AND RS.250/- WAS PAID FOR EACH OF THE SIM CARDS. I WENT TO THE CHEMBUR VODAFONE CENTER. FIRST THE SALES EXECUTIVE TOLD ME THAT THE SIM CARD SHOULD BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 2 DAYS OR ELSE IT WOULD BE DE-ACTIVATED. THIS WAS NEWS TO ME SINCE THE BORIVLI PERSON DID NOT INFORM ME OF THIS PROCEDURE. WHEN I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, THE MANAGER INFORMED ME THAT WE HAD TO ACTIVATE THE SIM CARD WITHIN 29 DAYS. WHEN I ASKED HER WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS THERE WAS NO ANSWER FROM HER SIDE. WHEN I ASKED WHETHER IT WAS WRITTEN ON THE SIM CARD PACKET, SHE COULD NOT FIND THE INFORMATION. WHEN I ASKED WHETHER IT WAS WRITTEN ON THE PRE-PAID APPLICATION FORM, AGAIN THE TIME PERIOD FOR ACTIVATION WAS NOT WRITTEN. I REQUESTED THEM TO TRANSFER MY RS.250/- TO ANOTHER CARD OR ISSUE ME A NEW CARD. BUT THEY SAID THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE.                   I left India on Aug 12 2013 and now I am abroad. I went to a local Vodafone store in Chennai on Aug 8th and asked them if they can setup a future termination of both my numbers [protected] and [protected]. The staff said they cannot do it and they asked me to send an email request to "Vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com". I sent 3 emails ( On Aug 21, Aug 27 and Oct 9) to this email id asking to deactivate my account. I also called them couple of times and they said they will take care. I paid the remaining dues for whole of August on Sep 6. but the bills for September, October started coming.Till now I did not have any response or any replies from them. 2 days back i got an email saying"ARBITRATION & CONCILIATION. BEFORE CIVIL & CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS-B-N[protected]" from the legal team. I sent an email to then and still no response. I Want to know why is the customer service so bad . ever since i bought my cell phone i am using Vodafone and this is very very frustrating customer service. I am spending so much time/Money (calling India) for no response. Can somebody help in resolving this. I am going to switch all my parents/siblings connections from vodafone if i dont hear in few days. See the emails attached.

                  We tried reaching you on your current number at 13:10 P.M, 15:15 P.M & 17:20 P.M but we couldn't reach you.                       Vodafone has the worst customer service in Mumbai- They seem to get a bunch of cringing servile people and train them to provide harassment not customer service to people here so they pretty much operate with no ethics in my experience, in the daily customer service field.."No we can't take that charge off; you must have called Latvia and Morocco.." I called just now asking them to take off some charges amounting to Rs 255 which was for international calls. FIrst of all I don't have international dialing installed to my knowledge- when I tried recently to call my sis or bro who were visiting here on their US number it doesn't go through- then I got some calls the end of Nov on some number/s which I didn't recognize- as a missed call and a couple where when you answer it responds with a recording. On dialing the number back I got a recording saying it's an international call and I was nonplussed because I thought I couldn't dial international numbers -- I hung up quickly but there seem to be a series of such calls it seems according to them that "..you must have made.." I tried telling the jackass check my usage, review my account I don't dial international calls, I have had a monthly billing for the last 10 years with you where my bill is Rs ---this much minuscule amount-- so kindly take that into consideration and note this must be where I am getting ripped off somewhere, so please do something..and let's figure it out", but Vodafone wants to add to the unpleasant experience, collect their measly Rs 2oo+ rupees and bugger the customer... Everyone knows Latvia, Morocco are the countries from where scam calls are originating, the last couple of months apparently

                          I activated a roaming service for free incoming on 4th December, 2013 by dialing *444# and selecting the desired option at about 9:37pm and they flashed a confirming message of activation and deducted the money for the service. At 9:40pm I received an incoming call for which roaming was charged inspite of the roaming service and the amount was around Rs. 43. I complained at Vodafone customer care but they said that this service takes 10minutes to get activated but this information was not provided when I was activating the service. They did not provide complete information before then how can they use this information as an excuse?

                            I had taken a Vodafone corporate simcard and it had 2G data plan of 1GB for 1month bt they had charged me a bill of Rs.2500 by saying its charged for extra internet usage but i havent used that much neither i got any message that my 1gb has completed nor i got any cal from customer care. I have talked to customer care regarding this to give me details what i have surfed and for what i have being charged but they said they cant and forcing me to pay bill. Now they had barred all my outgoing and incoming calls and therefore i am not using the card anymore.

                                  Dear Sir, I have two postpaid connection bearing Nos [protected] & [protected] under Government plan of Rs99/- monthly rantal from 11/8/2013. Since plan have been changed from Rs99/- to Rs199/- monthly rental wihtout my request. I have approached to your store in this regard but still bills have not been modified. Therefore, I have sent a written complaint to your Incharge vodafone store, Kalyan and your Head Office on 25/10/2013 and copy endorsed to nearest police station and TRAI. I have paid first bill. Thereafter I haven't paid bills. Your executive pressing me to pay the bill on telephone but I have told them until & unless modify the bills I will not pay at any cost. Since complaint raised, your office has not taken any action. So I cann't pay. Therefore, you are requested to modify my bills @ Rs99/- upto 11/10/2013 because in spite of repeated request your executive has not taken any interest in this regard hence, I have removed SIM cards. I have also requested to covert plan from postpiad to prepaid but your executive has not reply sastisfactorily. Therefore, I am also reqested to change my scheme from postpaid to prepiad.                                     Vodafone services are unreliable and the personnel attending to complaints have a callous attitude. I have been a patron of Vodafone for over 4 years and I am being treated in a way that no one would ask for even in their first month of being a customer! I have logged in complaints for:
                                    1) Charging me despite of the fact that I did not use the services (non voluntary- owing to bad connectivity)
                                    2) Not attending to complaints raised for poor coverage at residence (for both internet and telecom network)
                                    3) Disconnecting services for a connection that was being paid for on time without any warning/intimation or taking the consent of the user
                                    4) Continue charging a customer when she has requested to either- fix the problem OR disconnect the services

                                    Please be aware that Vodafone does not conduct itself like a professional organization and resorts to threatening and arm twisting tactics of disconnecting services without intimation. They do not attend to complaints after the amount has been paid. I can drop the services anytime but I want to bring this to the notice of a critical mass that is using their services or plan to switch over to Vodafone. I am ashamed that such callous attitude exists amongst service providers and we are subject to much anxiety and substandard service levels despite of paying a significant amount for the services. I hope the company takes corrective measures to fix these poor service levels and takes its customers & consequently, their own brand value-more seriously.

                                      I bought Vodafone Data card for 3g internet usage but from the begining it never worked on 3g speed, i complaint many time on their call centre but didnt get any solution and fade up i stopped using the same but they have raised the bills which we have cleared during taking the payment they were polite and accepting their fault and assuring that they will convert this donggle into prepaid but after getting payment they said you need to take care of this and bring your dongle to vodafone store i dont no why ...and misbehaved the executive.and said they cant convert in to pre paid connection. so it is a miscommunication to the customer and behaviour issue they have shown... I dont find the way to get my money back from the vodafone which i have paide as security for the dongle. as they have told us way. Please help ...                                         I had availed the 1GB 3G data pack for Rs. 249 on 16th November which was valid till 15th December. The connectivity for poor throughout and mostly all I got was 2g services. I was still able to manage my work. On 28th November, I got a thank you card from a mini store in Mahanagar. The executive told me that I can avail any benefit as a free gift. BUT, they did not tell me the disadvantages ie your existing service/ plan gets deactivated in case u use the thank you card. Not knowing this side of the story, which was supposed to be informed to me by the executive while handing over the card, I used this facility and got 45mb of 2G data. I wasn't made aware that my 3G pack would get deactivated. On confirming the same from the customer care executive, he said that I should have known this. Well, I don't design products at Vodafone, I'm a customer not a service provider. Had they made me aware of such a condition while handing over the card to me I would not have used it. Now my 3G plan is deactivated which was valid till 15th December, my remaining 700 mb of 3G data along with Rs. 250 went in the drain. I spoke to the customer care twice on 28th, they did not even care to give me a complaint number and just said that some senior executive would call me back. It's been 4 days now, but there was no response from their side. I called them again today, telling them that not only will I port out but I will also address the same on a consumer forum. They said, and I quote, ":IT'S YOUR PERSONAL CHOICE. OUR SENIOR EXECUTIVE IS NOT AVAILABLE, WE DON'T HAVE A SOLUTION. YOU ARE FREE TO PORT OUT. I asked them to reactivate my 3G plan with the data that was left, they said, we just can't. You did the recharge, you can only get the benefit of 2g data for 45mb. If you want then go and speak the the executive at Vodafone mini store. I'm lost for words. Now that I have been cheated, I want to make the other existing cutomers about this issue so that they don't face the same. I hope this write up reaches the right authority so that my 3G pack gets reactivated. I'm not asking for 250 bucks from them, all I need is the service in lieu of the payment I made for the same. In my last conversation approximately half an hour back, inspite of telling them that I wasn't given a complaint number earlier, They did not even register my complaint nor gave me a reference number.
