I'm writing to bring to your notice that there are major problems that I have faced while dealing with Vodafone service store- Manpada, thane. So called Happy to help is just a farse and they are not at all cooperative and Happy to help.

I have gone thru a major rig-m-roll for a small thing like changing my vodafone connection from my name to my wife. As the billing cycle is from 18 to 17 of every month, i had made a call on February 17, 2009 at the vodafone care and found out details of documents which are required for the transfer process where i understood that i need to carry a letter addressing vodafone for transfer, photograph, address proof and photo identity card of my wife.
To reconfirm the same i had visited vodafone store at Manpada, Thane where i met up with agent RITESH and even he asked me to get similar documents and did not specify on getting any particular documents.
My wife visited the store with documents and where she was told that he (ritesh) will not accept any bank letter as address proof and also will not accept Photo debit card of my wife.( this was not infromed to us that HDFC bank documents are not acccepted, do you also not accept HDFC bank cheques as payments?)
My wife is not form Bombay and the best documents that we could produce were bank details, even the pan card was of her maiden name.
Alas we were asked to get marriage certificate.Service was not at all professional nor did he (ritesh) tried to help and even denied that he can not get a photocopy and we will have to get our own photocopy. There was not attempt of helping us.
Store timings are till 7 PM and it becomes difficult for us to reach store as we are working couple.
Though 3rd time when wife and myself visited the store we met up with JAVED who was very rude and unfriendly least bothered to help, in spite of we producing marriage certificate which has due photograph and signatures he insisted on either a PAN card or passport, now both the said documents of my wife are on her maiden name and will not be of any help as transfer had to be done on new name.
JAVED made us go back home and get pan card, this was getting irritated and i would better cancel my vodafone no and go to other service provider who can assist and give me better services.
This was the 4th time my wife had to come to store with all documents and not he fills the form takes photocopies and takes our signatures, i'd also made all payments of my number for smooth transfer.
After waiting for nearly 1 hour we were asked to pay Rs 500 as deposit, this is when i lost my cool and demanded an explanation as why was i not given complete information on the same, they can not take customers time for granted. I walked out of the store.

Now it was already 24th February my wife managed to reach early to store yesterday (Feb 25) now expecting that every document was verified and ready, she just have to pay Rs 500 in order to get the process complete, to her surprise ARCHANA new agent ( now same person did not make and effort to take it a nd my wife had to explain entire thing to ARCHANA and when she checks the documents she points out that my signature do not match wiht the dirving lisence provided.
When JAVED had checked all the documents and also written on the same that " checked by JAVED" she did not accept the same and asked my wife to get my PAN or passport copy.Why was the verification not done by JAVED?

We feel that those guys are just not helping people but troubling them and when my wife asked Javed to look into the same he denied the same and asked her to talk to ARCHANA only and told that he will not be able to help.

I would have appreciated if some responsible person who understands gravity of situation and acts with giving solutions and not pointing out problems.
I'd to talk to some authority at Vodafone Andheri office who in turn spoke to store and got it sorted ( simple solution - pl mail a scanned copy of pan card)

I would like to register this serious complain as the unprofessional and unfriendly approach by your 3 customer agents have costed vodafone and I've decided to move out (vodafone customer for nearly 7-8 years) and also have requested my relatives nad friends to change to other service providers.
Mobility is on its way and customer will be able to choose service providers.


I would want you to look and take serious action on this matter as the experience has been very very painful

Handset purchased dated 06.06.07(with warranty of 2 years for ereplacement) found faulty. visted twicw at Mira Bhayandar Road store and reply received that set is not in stock.
Complaint no.[protected] dated 27.06.09 and it was told that set will be replaced in 3-4 days time.
I have again visited the Mira Bhayandar Road Branch vide complaint no.[protected] dated 04.07.09 and mesage was repeated and it was told that set will be replaced in 3-4 days time.

    2 months ago I have taken a data card (USB Stick) from vodafone Gujarat for unlimitted access. I am getting a speed of 236kbps at Gujarat . On roaming I am getting same speed at Mumbai. But while coming to my native place at Kerala I am getting only a speed of 53.6 kbps throughout Kerala. In this speed the web pages are not at all opening. Speed of bsnl dialup connection is better than this. I am a frequent traveller & I need a fast net connection on roaming.Pl find out & rectify the problem. My data card sim no.is.[protected].

    i too have purchased a new vodafone datacard for Rs.1799/- its not at all worthfull as the downloading and the surfing speed is very low and vodafone sold me saying that it is a 3g card. if its a 3g card then y it is so slow and not even getting network every where. i strictly want to convey one thng to all the people that vodafone data card is full of waste.it a waste of money and a waste of everything.my vodafone datacard number is [protected].they have given 1 month unlimited download plan.but according to me its a ful to cheating case as for 4 mb file its taking more then half an hour tym to download the file. so where come unlimited word comes.vodafone should return back all the money to the customers whom they have cheated like me.

      6. Their IVR doesnt work properly for bill payment

      These guys made me think Airtel guys are Gods. Now I feel Airtel is 1000 times better. It will take years for vodofone guys to catch up with Airtel.

      I have been complaining to Vodafone since April 2009 about receiving UCCs in spite of being registered with the DND registry. I send all the information about the sender but I have never sent the text of the message and they have never asked me for the same. I also sent copies of my mails to TRAI. Since then I have been informed that action has been taken against 3-4 senders. Suddenly when I sent a complaint on the 17th, I received a call on the 18th asking me for the text of the message. I told the lady that I do not keep the message once I send the complaint and that I have been doing the same thing for five months now. She informed me that no action could be taken if I could not give her this information. Her statement was confirmed by mail today.
      I think Vodafone is just trying to get out of this problem. Please help.

      I bought a vodafone sim ([protected]) before 4 years in chennai. My service provider deactivated my number on 29-Nov-2009 stating that i used that number to send some group sms. Currently I am using Nokia 2600, and that mobile doesn't have that group sms facility. I personally used to send sms to my friends.

      I gave that number to all my friends, family and relationship. Also at present I am looking for a job and I have have given this number to my prospective employees. Now I couldn't connect to anyone of my employees.

      So, if they disconnect that number at this moment, my employment opportunity and even my future will be hindered as I may not get the right employeer..

      This mail is written in disgust with the indifference of customer service in Vodafone UP (W) where customer service executives Sajid and later Faiyaz indifferently told me that they could not solve my problem, nor would they log a complaint. I am amazed to see your experience and goodwill asked to go for a walk.
      I do believe a large number of your customers are illiterate but you cannot treat anyone in the manner these two executives did from 7:00 pm to 7:16 pm on 18/03/2010.
      I have a post-paid connection at my Delhi address [protected]; however I opted for a prepaid connection in UP(W) [protected] but have not managed to recharge the same even though I have made two payments through internet banking through my SBI account. I have got no payment in spite of a confirmation sms and email.
      I called up customer care and was shocked by the display of impertinence by your executives Sajid and Faiyaz at 7:00pm-7:16 pm on 18/03/2010 who refused to take a complaint or resolve my problem and informed me that I could do what I like for they could not be of any help to me.

      I receive a message from vodafone provider with the company's profiled caption as DM Luck, it says that i won $2500.00. The actual message says that i will need to call a number from a different country that always replies through an IVR to record my contact number.       we have been complaining to vodafone from last four moths to disconnect our mobile no. which my son was using, who is in Chennai now from the month of Jan 2010. we have been sending emails to disconnect the cell no. & their reply is irrelevant. Eveytime vodafone people asked us "why u want to disconnect? you can go for other plan or trying to give us an options or giving silly reason that u should come down to the Vodafone gallery when visited gallery telling you should come on the end of the billing cycle & so many other excuses but not yet disconnected the No and sending us a bill statement every month and as we are paying it through ECS automatically the payment is going directly. last time when visited gallery they have given a SR no. which is confirmed that they have disconnected the line and asure that next month bill we are not getting. but receiving the statement regularly. we are fed up with this & can not take out the time from our busy schedule to follow with this everytime. pls do something we are having all the email details which is sent to them & the reply from vodafone.

      Dear Sir,

      I can say that Vodafone is most pathetic service providers. So my advise not to use vodafone in future and change your services. I have requested multiple times to Vodafone to provide original bill but not yet received from the last 3 months and they have blocked my outgoing to know the actual facts that they have not yet delivered the original bill to me. If they have the original then why not they providing the POD details. The original bills needs to be submitted in the company and company will pay the charges. I can say, the most pathetic services of Vodafone and suggest to everybody do bot use vodafone. Other services are available in the market. why we use vodafone????

      10 days have already been past how long its process ?
      Its only 7 Days procedure to convert any numb. into network.

      Vodafone has been a very careless service provider, with the call centre employees disconnecting the phone on your face to pathetic in-store help, Vodafone has never lived up to its promises.
      I subscribed for Blackberry Services in Vodafone and its been a week and its hardly ever worked. I tried calling 198 for complaints and they end up disconnecting the phone on people's faces. My visits to the Vodafone store, too, proved to be pointless with extremely rude employees who fail to pay attention and with nil respect for the customer.
      I managed to track down an employee at the vodafone customer care centre, Mr. Rajender and my customer complaint number is [protected].
      For a company that cannot retain it's customers and leave them mentally harassed, I would like to take action against Vodafone.

To get incoming calls i have provided one extra phone with cellone/bsnl simcard till today 02/03/2011.This complaint has been represented several times to customercare bsnl and vodafone but no fruitful result.They are blaming each other for rectification.
      In this regard please disconnect all things from vodafone immediately as they are not able to help their customer for the past 25 days .

      I don't want to continue this double connection one from vodafone and another from bsnl for the same number and it is a shame to me.
      Further i cannot pay any single paisa to vodafone and i am going to consumer court to get justice and comphensation for the loss incurred in this affair.

        I bought a Vodafone Mobile of Model 226 FM, IMEI No. [protected] and Mobile No. [protected]
        from a Mobile Retailer Shop. I submitted my ID proof, Residential proof and a photograph to him. After a month and half, the Mobile shows a message ' Facility not subscribed ', whenever I make a call to someone.

        I visited two Vodafone Care Centre or Store at Kotla and Ansal Plaza to make the complaint but I didn't yet get problem sort out even after four days.

            I was having three post paid mobile connections bearing no, [protected]/[protected]/[protected]. I held these accounts for nearly three years and promptly paid billed amounts from time to time.

            In June 2008, I found that vodafone was charging for mobile alerts for the messages received to my email. I decided to shift to bsnl service and called the customer care for the procedure to close the accounts.

            Based on their advise, I cleared the entire amount outstanding against the said three accounts as on 09 06 2008 online (my payments were always online) on vodafone portal and duly intimated the vodafone through email to customercare.[protected]@vodafone.com.

            However, I continued to receive the bills from vodafone and I had contacted customer care over phone as well as sending mails. The result was a sterio type routine response to confirm for deactivation of the account. Even they resorted to send people claimed to be recovery agents. When asked for their identity, they could not give satisfactory reply.

            Vodafone stopped sendig bills/mails from September 2008 and I was under the impression that the issue was settled by them.

            However, Vodafone unveiled their unethical business practices, Vodafone sent a legal notice for payment of billing+unbilling+prorata rent amounts and taxes etc. for Rs.5000/-. For a person who paid promptly for entire period, the amount is negligible to pay. But, it only indicates wrongful business practices to make money on genuine customers.

            There is a strong feeling among my friends and colleagues that service of Vodafone is worst and not to be recommended.

              Hi,

              I was a vodafone Bangalore corporate customer (Honeywell) till Oct 2008. I moved on to UK in November and when i moved i forgot to pay my last month bill(Rs 1300) and also to cancel my connection. This is a mistake from my side and i am sorry about that. Having said that, the way your legal department has worked is horrible and the behaviour of Mr.Kalyan can be categorised as third rate behaviour

              Here are the string of events that happened : Mr Kalyan had called up my parents and spoken to them posing as a friend of mine from Honeywell. He pleaded with my mother to part with my UK mobile number. After getting the number, he gives a missed call at 12: 30 IST followed by a blank message " Karthik call me back". When i call him back, he threatens me that i have to pay the amount by 4 PM (3 hours notice) or my name will be handed over to the police. He claims that he had sent two legal notices to my Honeywell mail id - that id has been inactive for 4 months. He asks for my card details to take the amount and when i refused he asked me to make the payment by 4 PM else face court action. Since my friends were busy in their work, i made the payment through internet but i did not call him back to inform the same.

              He then gives me missed calls at 4 AM, 5 AM and 6 AM this morning. I was sleeping then and did not want to call him back. He then calls my parents and threatens them with police action.

              When i am at fault for defaulting the payment (for which i am fully responsible for), the way Mr.Kalyan behaved is utterly ridiculous

              1) He claims that he had sent two legal notices to my mailid which is not active. He would have got back a message stating that the id is not active. He has my parent’s address, why couldn't he post the bill to them??? He was able to call them and get my number - why could not he have done this???

              2) What was the need to lie to my parents about being my friend. If he is calling from the legal department he has all the rights to tell them the truth and demand the money? Why follow a third rate approach?

              3) Kalyan works for vodafone - a leading mobile service provider and he gives missed calls!!!

              4) What was the need to threaten me with legal action the first time that he is speaking to me?

              5) When he very well knows that i am in UK, why does he give me missed calls at 4, 5 and 6 AM?

              This is harassment and i am taking this very strongly. I am reporting this to the consumer forums and if no proper action is taken then i am logging a consumer court case for harassment.

              This is Yusuf I was a vodafone Bangalore corporate customer (Reliance ada Group) till Jan 2009.I Resigned my Job in the month of November and when i moved i forgot to pay my (Jan, Feb, March& April) month bill(Rs 2500) and also to cancel my connection.                 Vodafone — wrong charges deducted

                I am Vaibhav Aggarwal and my Vodafone no is [protected]. I got my no charged on 08/11/20008 by Rs 35 bonus card for getting 300 local messages free. And after that I have faced the following problems :-

                1) I got a pop up message from Vodafone that my card has been recharged with that card, however the charges of the messages sent were still getting deducted from my mobile phone. When I called up the customer care centre they informed me that it will take 4 hrs to get the service activated. However no such thing was mentioned on the voucher and no information was available to me. Also the term *conditions applied* was also not mentioned on the voucher which can raise a doubt in my mind and I would have called the customer care centre.
                2) Yesterday was Gurunanak Birthday and all the messages were chargeable but again no such message was forwarded to me to let me know that any message sent by me will be chargeable.
                3) Also I have not sent those 300 free messages till date and still my account is getting debited for all the messages sent by me. When I asked this with customer care centre, they informed me that they don’t have ant data regarding this. This is highly ridiculous as I should know the details of every thing for which company is debiting my account. This is my consumer right.
                4) Also if we call on 111 there is no option to connect to customer care representative and we have to choose any sensible option to talk to them. This is a big surprise to me.
                5) The customer care representatives are very rude and have no decency to speak.

                I am using prepaid connection

                I too am getting billed at 35 rs per week rate, for Hungama service. I never subscribed to this VAS spam service. They started sending me spam hungama messages and started charging me 35 rs per week.
                What is the legal procedure to penalize such procedures by Vodafone?

                  Negative Balance on Pre Paid No [protected]
                  I have Vadaphone prepaid connection no [protected]. The balance is turning negative 3 times within a span of one month of my connection. They dont inform me why they are deducting money from balance and foced me to recharge to turn positive and for making call from that no.

                  Since my connection usage is very low, they are extracting money from me by way of making the balance negative.

That time he told that this no. will be activate today as a prepaid and after varification of address, within two days it will be convert in Postpaid. But my connection could not get started. When I asked to Mr. Ajay he told that Varification has been negetive which have been done on the 30th of Jan, 2009. But that day I was present at my home and
                    no one came to my home for varification. Mr. Ajay told that my cousin told that I am not living here. Also 2 neighbours gave negetive varification. But at my room there is no any cousin and such neighbours of that name are exist. When I again complaint against this and requested for revarification, he told that subbmit the proof of residence and then I do that. But I could not get services. Again he told that this proove is not acceptable so submit the proof of your job and then after the verification you can get the service. But after the submission of my all documents I am not getting the service of my phone. Inspite of this, I lodge a lot of complaint on the call centre of Vodafone but there is no any redressal of my complain. Now my prepaid service also has been deactivated and I am not getting any services of my money.

                    Due to this I have lost peace of my mind and disturbed a lot, which can not describe in Monetary terms. But as a redressal of this, I want to activation of my Postpaid connection and Rs. 1, 00, 000 as a compansation.

                    HI,

                    On 02 May 09 I received a message for NightSpk in special recharge of Rs.22 Valid for 15days. On 4th May 09 I called to Bangalore customer care and asked for taking a request for this special recharge. In that moment itself Rs.22 has been deducted from my balance. They informed me it will take next 24hr to get activate. But till 06 May morning it has not been activated.

                    I lost my money as well as I didn’t get the facility. I couldn't understand that this Vodafone people are doing passing wrong information to the customer.

                    This is to inform you that I have taken Vodafone Connection as per below mentioned Tariff in which we have got some Local & STD calls free but the bill sent by Vodafone is not as per their promise. They had given us the signed Tariff Plan as well confirm the same by their Customer Care Deptt. They have generated the bill of all following numbers without giving any discount. So that we are appealing to you that please take the necessary action against Vodafone, because they have cheated us. They are mentally harassing by calling again & again and say to take new plan . We hope that you will do the needful.

                      Dear Sir,
                      i have recently taken a Vodafone postpaid connection & My No is[protected]. I am receiving a lot of calls from various persons, Banks askinf for Mr. Sarafraz Hussain. I have received an SMS from ICICI Bank where Mr Sarafraz's email ID is given as sarfraz.[protected]@gmail.com. I do not like all these unwanted calls and SMS. If the calls are not stopped within 24 hours the matter will be reported to the police to protect my security.

                        i god vodafone data card which gives 500mb/month for rs 500
                        and they also gave a software to track how much i use every month.
                        i used around 470mb in the month but the bill came to be around rs 8000
                        and they said i used around 1.8gb of data.i made a complaint and asked for detailed
                        billing, it took 2 months and lot of effort on my part to get the detailed bill, mean time they closed my
                        internet connection for not paying rs 8000 and they locked my other mobile number 3 days after i got the
                        detailed bill.the surpridse was the detailed bill showed that i ysed 100mb in 1 hour in a data card which is not even possible.by this time the collection guy called me, then i went to collectionwith screen shot of
                        the usage i have in comp and the detailed bill and explained it is not possible to download 100mb inone hr in a datacard...but no use my other line was cut and as i was expecting a interview i had to pay tha amount to get my mobile working.the coustomer service is really bad and i would be happy if some one can help me on this.

                          Blocking of my SIM Card without the complaint

                          Hi,

                          I, Sheelsagar Shinraj, called to the customer care[protected] at around 10:15 am in the morning . As my both SIM Card prepared and the postpaid, was showing not registered from 2100 hrs 21 Feb 2009. (As I was moving from the post paid to the prepaid).

                          I have two sim card. I am a vodafone customer for last six years. My numbers are : 1) [protected], it remains with me & 2) [protected], it remains with my sister for last 6-7 months. An unknown person from different phone numbers ( mainly from -[protected], [protected], [protected]) is enquiring about some GOPAL DAS who, according to the unknown person has taken some lone and given my vodafone no ([protected]) to there. Under such situation, I am now in an embarrasing & painful condition. Please take necessory steps at an early date in favour of one of your valued customer like me ; otherwise I shall have no other alternative but to surrender my SIM at my nearest VODAFONE SHOP (at nagerbajar, kol-28).                             I had a corporate post paid connection from Vodafone. When I accepted the connection I was told to submit a cancelled Cheque for Electronic Clearance Scheme. They lost the cheque and my Ecs was not activated. I again submitted a separate Cheque to get the ECS activated. They deducted a months bill from my account the next month. When I disconnected the service after mailing them, they are telling that I have got an oustanding amount of RS 401.89. I told them to deduct it from my account as I had an active ECS service. But they are cntinuously harrasing with their legal notices.
                            Me Cell No. is [protected] & due to my personal i am not able to pay bill, Now I will paid my current bill by cheque payment.

                                Dear Ms. Suvarna,

                                I have been billed Rs.10, 000/- odd (USD$208) for usage of Blackberry in one night on 31st Jan2009. I had requested for a reversal vide letter dated 9/Feb/2008 which is also attached. The reply was a stereo type letter which is attached.

                                I have been a customer of Vodafone from the inspection till today under various numbers & I am very much aggrieved by the bill of Rs.11154.90 (bill attached) for blackberry usage out of which Rs.10, 000 has been billed in one night of 31/Jan/2009.

                                There is no way I could have used Rs.10000/- worth o[censored]sage on Blackberry on one night while actually I was sleeping. I would like to have the details of the usage of the blackberry for the whole billing cycle & also the sites visited, the download done from each site individually in KB, duration of visit to each site in the billing cycle etc. If this is how Vodafone operates, all efforts should be made to block the 3G license as the complaints shall be multi-fold after the introduction of this service by them.

                                Also let me know your auditor from the panel who has certified your metering & billing system with their email ID so that I can also send them a cc of this email.

                                I would be the first to have my number transferred from Vodafone once Number Portability is started in June 2009 as:

                                a) Without any written consent the my billing account was linked to a Vodafone CITI Credit Card (co-branded) which was not subscribed to, there was no application made for the Credit Card, the Credit Card was never received. After tremendous follow-up with CITI bank as well as Vodafone & threatening emails, I was able to cancel a credit card never issued to me & now I am getting a bill for services not used. The account opening forms, written consent to debit the bills etc asked from Vodafone & Citi bank have not come till date. It seems that there is a tactic employed suo motto to raise high bills & pass them to credit card companies who issue credit cards without any consent of the subscriber for such a service.
                                b) After two & a half years the network coverage issue in my office was sorted out.
                                c) The hard copy of the bills were stopped unilaterally & email bills in soft copy started without my consent. This had to be complained & then only the printouts started from this billing cycle.
                                d) My Vodafone account is deactivated. Why should the same be deactivated if not used for a certain time. I was unable to assess the account even when I tried to do so & I had to pay the bills by cheques instead of online which I usually do.
                                e) The waiting time to get through to the help numbers is too much.

                                I am a Chartered Accountant in practice for the last 25 years & a responsible citizen of India. I have a track record of paying all the bills in time & enjoy credit limits of Rs.27900/- with Vodafone.

                                As written earlier I would not be paying for the blackberry usage of 31/Jan/2009 amounting to Rs.10, 000 odd & would request you to kindly issue a fresh bill without this Blackberry usage so that I can pay the other outstanding on the account. I shall be paying Rs.4622.20 i e Total Bill Rs.17055.89 Less (Rs.11154.90+ Service Tax @ 12.36% of Rs.1378.75) before the due date as the dues for this bill till the receipt of the corrected bill. So please reverse the charges accordingly.

                                Till the complaint is not taken to its logical conclusion, all the services to the telephone numbers in the account should not be disconnected, no interest / penalty should be charged on the outstanding.

                                I have already discontinued the Blackberry services by SMS on 03/Feb/2009 @ 9.45 pm and subscribed to the 10p SMS on 3/2/2009 @ 10.11pm. Pl confirm if the changes have been done in the billing cycle starting from 4/Feb/2009 as I have been informed that the SMS @10P has not been activated. I would like to know the reasons for the same & also why it was not informed to me that the effect was not done. The billing in this cycle has to be done @ 10p for SMS made from 4/2/2009

                                My request for the Complaint number on help desk was not entertained a few days back & the operator discontinued the call when it was asked.

                                Even the reply give by Customer care dt 11/Feb/2009 in response to my written complaint does not bear a complaint Number which is very surprising.

                                I am sure that all the users of Vodafone Blackberry would be delighted to know how Vodafone unethically bill genuine customers while they are asleep. I think I have better things to do rather than lodge complaints on Valentine day.

                                If the complaint is not resolved with the details asked before end of day of 16th Feb 2009 and with the reversal of fictitious charges of Rs.10, 000 odd under intimation to me, I reserve my rights to publish the above email in the newspapers having vide circulation in India & various forums at your risk, cost & consequences, which please note.

                                Vodafone — Forced city bank credit card

                                Dear sir/ Madam, I am a housewife. I am a Vodafone customed. 2-3 months back I was was told that I have won citi bank credit card under some scheme of Vodafone. I had told the sales agent of Vodafone that I am not an earning member and my husband decides what scheme to go for, so without his yes I can't take the credit card and the insurance scheme given with the credit cards. But they went ahead and mailed the credit cards on my address. Since then many times I told them that I don't want there scheme, I had put my complaint on the city bank web site also since they are sending bill and bills to me.

                                I AM NOT USING THE CARD BUT VODAFONE IS USING ON MY BEHALF TO ADJUST MY BILLS

                                But I am still getting bills from them. I had told that my husband has policy with Bidla Sunlife and he doesn't want any insurance policy.

                                I AM MENTLY DISTURBED WITH NON STOP BILLS FROM THE CITY BANK. MY ONLY MISTAKE IS THAT I AM A VODAFONE CUSTOMER AND MY PERSONAL DETAILS ARE EXPOSED TO ALL THE COMPANIES LIKE CITY BANK. PL HELP

                                  This complaint is in regards to my phone no: [protected]. I switched to Vodafone to use the WCC service. I have been using this for the past 9 months and have never dialed an ISD number directly. Still, my bill shows multiple ISD calls amounting to roughly 4000 Rs. I can clearly see that I have used the WCC card to call other numbers 2 hours later than the ISD call. This is incorrect as I would never dial ISD directly when I have the WCC card, which is so much cheaper! Now why would I make a direct ISD call when I have enough balance on my WCC card.
                                  Now, even if you assume that I needed to make some urgent calls at that time..this still doesnt explain the other ISD calls at a later date.
                                  I had filed a complaint about this (No:[protected] but the representative was very rude and did not want to hear my side. Can anybody help me with this?

                                  I have always paid my bills on time and intend to stick with Vodafone. I just want to get this matter resolved.

                                    On 17/2/2009At 2:00 Pm, I have given them Rupees 777 to do easy recharge of 777 (talk time).I have not received any amount and the computer at reliance fresh is showing that transaction is successful. When I contacted Vodafone customer care, they told that “there is some technical problem and if you have recharged, you will receive talk time within 24 hours”. The reliance fresh person told me that “you should get recharge within 24 hours and need not worry”.
                                    After 24 i.e. at 2:00 Pm on 18/2/2009, I went to them and complaint that I have not yet received the talk time of Rupees 777.When I contacted customer care of Vodafone, they told me that our system is not showing any transaction of recharge done in your account. I told the official of reliance fresh to refund my money as I have still not get the amount. He told me that I have send request for refund to Mumbai office and they would refund your amount after 2 days. Then I told him that if I have recharged somewhere else, they would have given me talk time of Rupees 697 on the spot and rest amount is credited within 48 hours. He told that he can do nothing and can only send mail to Mumbai and if the talk time has not been credited after 2 days, he will refund your amount as he has send refund request to head office of reliance fresh. I told him that I will never recharge from your shop in future.

                                    I would like to ask that if the reliance fresh system of recharge is not working, then why they are following that system .They should have use simple system where customer get recharge on the spot and also message is received which also reveals transparency and quick recharge.
                                    And strange thing is that you have to wait for 2 days to get recharge or refund.

                                    I any reliance official is reading this..I urge them to improve their service to avoid customer loss

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I had a prepaid connection with Vodafone for the past 3 years. My phone number is [protected]. I mainly use this phone for making ISD calls to US and Canada. There was no problem till the staff of vodafone contacted me repeatedly asking me to convert to postpaid. I told them that I was satisfied with the prepaid connection, but they offered me a reduction in ISD charges. This was the reason I agreed to convert to postpaid. However this was the beginning of the problems i started to face with my connection..

                                      The person who received the deposit of Rs.500/- from me along with the required documents..offered me a rate of Rs.3.99 per minute. I had a disruption in service thereafter for about a week. I was not able to make any USD calls for over a week. On contacting many people at customer care, everyone assured me that this will be rectified immediately..but they did not bother to followup the matter. When i was totally frustrated and contemplated switching over to some other service provider, someone came for verification (incidently i had a prepaid connection with them for 3 years). The service was restored thereafter. But the question of charges remained mysterious. Everyday a different person from Vodafone gave me a different rate. from 3.99 to 6.99.

                                      I get a message today to pay an interim amount of Rs.3051/-. The details of which have not been advised to me. I am sure the rate applied is excessive, since i had no problem with my prepaid connection. I request to reconvert my account to prepaid or cancel my connection to enable me to change to some other service provider.
