My number was deducted of rs 99 as international roaming. Also because of this unwarranted activation i accidently picked up a call and then disconnected within 4 secs but a charge of rs 70 was deducted for an international charge. I do not want international roaming rental on my vodafone number.
Vodafone arbitrarily initiated to deduct balance from my main account without my request for any international services.

I do no want any international roaming or international service.
I want to be out of your default balance deduction schemes.

I'm reaching out here because vodafone customer service has no answer to this issue.

Please let me know how to unsubscribe from your default scheme of balance deduction without any request from the users.

Why did this happen in the first place?

    I was being followed by vodafone for a mobile bill of amount rs. 252, which is completely fake. I was undertaking the service from voda & ported out to airtel clearing all the previous bills. Now voda is asking again to pay a bill of the said amount and not in the position to clarify of the same. After asking about the bill, they said since i have ported my no., they will not give any bill.
    I was just considering it as a fake or ghost calls, but today they have hand delivered me a lawyer's letter with all illegitimate words of cautions.
    Now please guide what should i do? The company wants money without any reason (Unable to produce an invoice) & threatening for legal actions for not paying the same

      Today 27.10.2018 (11:07:44pm) i received a sms from vd-vfcare "hello gamepind pack is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 15 days rental of ₹75 has been deducted. Your current balance post service activation is ₹219.60. To deactivate. Sms stop to or call 155223 toll free".
      I will like to make it clear that i never requested to activate gamepind pack on mob no [protected]. Then why this service was activated on my above mobile no and ₹75 was unnecessarily deducted from my balance. It is therefore, requested that unwanted pack may be deactivated and the amount of ₹75 returned to my mob no [protected].

      I cannot send messages from my phone. How much ever I'm recharging my number, I cant seem to send text messages. Pl check on it

        The complainant is regarding vodafone. I have pre paid phone package with vodafone on my number. Any unauthorized deduction is a cause of concern.

        A message from vd-vfcare informed that gamepind services have been activated for my mobile number. They deducted rs.75 for the same.

        I had not requested any such service. They are not refunding the money on application to stop the same.

        The message stated that gamepind pack has been activated for my number "as requested" and a 15 days rental has been deducted from my number. My phone balance had been substantially reduced.

        On messaging to the toll-free number provided in the first message, they only stopped the service but there was no refund as such.

        If vodafone has been doing this for any other consumers as well, this constitutes a fraud. I hope this matter is investigated.

            I'm getting error 'message not sent' and with some error code. While i'm trying to send port request message to 1900. Why the message is not sending. Although im having enough balance to send text messages.
            Why my number is restricted from porting. I fed up with the worst services of vodafone. I didn't have signal, every time signal goes off. No network coverage no bandwidth.

              I am facing issue from your services from feb month. Earlier packages activate without any intimation. Bill charges without any intimation. Now again your employee mr. Vicky payment not updated in my account. Payment deposit on dated 11/10/2018 amt 600/- in your vodafone office at malout location pin code 152107 time 3.30pm. Still payment not updated in my account.

              I am regular customer of your company from last five year & more than five no also in our family members. Now its time to moving for another com for because bad service & employees.

                Illegitimate deduction from the account balance claiming that i have messaged an international number [protected] on 17/10/2018 10.15 am which i have not done. When i called customer care the representative told me they do not have any information regarding that and asked me to call back in 30 minutes and the same happened several times. I have all the conversations recorded with me. I need the money back. Also request vodafone to make money in proper and honest way unlike this.

                  I have purchased a sim card of vodafone by giving aadhar proof and finger print. After 15days company barred my incoming and outgoing calls stating id not submitted. Later i went to vodafone ministore at gobichettipalayam, erode but they told we cant help you. Simply they are giving nonsense excuses and my sim it still deactivated after recharge of 558 rupees since 15 days. Being a govt of india employee i am facing these problems.
                  Kindly look into the matter and see how this company giving service to its customers.

                    This is crucial to steal money from the account of a person without even confirming. Its simply deducting the account balance is now empty. When i reacharged 100 Rs. After sometimes its deducted and saying that gamezone pack activated. Later cell9 tube activated. What is the use of this. Unless we wanted. Its company fault or their trying to make profit by cheating the userm

                      I am writing to you to resolve my compliant request #[protected] which is open since Aug 2018. I have tried to resolve this issue through multiple modes of communication with numerous Vodafone representatives (Web Chat, In-Store managers, and Phone customer service), however it continues to be unresolved.

                      Each one of the Vodafone reps acknowledges that there is an issue, and will document the account to help back-office resolve my case. However each representative have stated that they don’t have much control in their hands to resolve my case. Till date I have not heard back from anyone from the Vodafone Back-office who is assigned to resolve my case. But I continue to get calls from the billing dept asking me to pay the unresolved amount. The billing department has no notes regarding my open compliant and I have to explain the entire case over and over to each person who calls me from Vodafone, only to hear in the end that they can’t do much as the case is with someone in Back-office.

                      When I visited the branch, the in-store supervisor mentioned that there were no notes on the account and had to pretty much document my case from the start. Even Surendra – Supervisor from Malad Link Road Vodafone Store said he will do his best to document the account, however he does not have control over the case as it goes to Back-Office. He too acknowledged that there is an error and assured me this issue will get resolved if we give all details in the account notes to back-office.

                      Till date there is no resolution and I am afraid Vodafone has become so big, that customer complaints go unattended in a black hole; genuine issues and concerns are ignored and unethical practices continue without one department knowing what the other does. I am also afraid that this carelessness on part of Vodafone will play absolutely no impact on the giant organization, but adversely impact my credit which will have a greater impact on my livelihood – without no fault of mine.

                      This is my last attempt trying to resolve my case. If post this email my case is unresolved, I have exhausted all possible methods and will report the unethical practices to the Consumer Court.

                      Below you will find key point pertaining to my complaint #[protected]:
                      - Phone # [protected], registered email address: Doreena.[protected]@gmail.com
                      - Compliant Request #[protected] opened on Aug, 12th 2018.
                      - Compliant regarding International Roaming package continued beyond the dates requested by me, without my authorization, approval, consent or knowledge.
                      - I requested International Roaming using Vodafone Mobile App on July 30th, for effective dates August 1st 2018 to August 10th 2018, from the airport. Countries selected is United States. I was to land back in the India on Aug 11th. International Roaming (IR) Package selected was for Rs.3500, details mentioned this included unlimited calling, data and all fees for 10 days. I read all fine print from the IR3500 package, and no-where it stated Auto-Renewal, Additional fees for international roaming and data.
                      - When I check my bill online, I see an amount of Rs.4895.85 which included additional fees for this package and GST. Confused with the amount, I did a web-chat with a Vodafone Rep on Aug 12th, asking to explain the charges. Normally my bill does not exceed Rs800, with Rs.3500 additional for IR package, I expected my bill to not exceed Rs.4300. When the web-chat lady explained the additional amount was GST and Rs.149 International Roaming fee, I didn’t want the hassle of arguing, and agreed to pay Rs.4895.82 on 13/08/2018 as per the Aug bill. This lady whom I chatted with on Aug 12th, did not mention even once that this package is auto-renewed and my IR package is still active.
                      - After I paid my bill on Aug 13th, I noticed my bill was now Rs.10, 000 on Vodafone online. Surprised with the amount, I chatted with another Vodafone rep on Aug 21st. When she explained the IR charges, I told her that I had already paid for the International Roaming on Aug 13th and my bill is not reflecting my recent payment made. She still did not mention this was an additional amount as my IR was still active, and I was getting charged being in India. She assured me that the bill is incorrect and will take my complaint service Request #[protected]. However when I go back online to check the status of my complaint, she documented my request as “Complaint on Self Service Application” and closed it. This is outright unethical as my compliant was pertaining Billing and charging me for something I had already paid. I request you to retrieve the web-chat records to validate what I had requested a compliant for. I will also subpoena these records in court as this is a second evidence o[censored]nethical practices.
                      - Frustrated with phone and web representatives, I decided to go to an in-store Vodafone branch on Sep 12th and met Supervisor Surendra in person at the Malad west - Link road Vodafone Store. He too agreed that my plan was auto-renewed, and the dates were not accurately accepted by the back-end. He said he will add additional notes in the system to help the Back-office person resolve my case. However this case was also closed without any communications, or reason, or understanding of the case.
                      - Another case #[protected] was opened with an attempt to provide details notes, as the previous reps did not provide accurate data, and help me. The In-Store reps and managers were also getting helpless as there is no means to speak with someone in the back-office to help them understand the issue and help resolve this case.
                      - My account has IR auto renewed, however somehow the Rs.3500 package was deactivated and I was charged Standard roaming charges for data, when I am back in India.

                      I got a reply from Vodafone acknowledging that my International Roaming was deactivated on Aug 10th, however the Standard roaming was kept active on my account. While I was in transit from one country (USA) to another (China), I used the internet for 3 minutes (Airport Provided internet), for which they say - they were the service providers and are justified to charge me Rs. 10, 292.78 for internet data used for 3 minutes in China.

                      This statement further validates the unethical business practices embarked by Vodafone.

                        I got my prepaid mobile number converted to post paid number for a plan of rs 699. However my first bill i received was for rs 1800 approx. Also i requested customer care to change my plan request and send me the reviewed bill which never happened. In the next month i received another bill for rs 1800 along with late fee charges which i again asked for clarification. However the issue was not resolved and my mobile number was put out of service. I faced a lot of problems as it was my 10 yrs old number. I regret that i chose vodafone services. Please clarify the issue. I am also planning to raise a consumer court complaint against this act of company.

                        i have tried to get the issue resolves and called customer care services atleast 10 times. However no agent was proficient enough to resolve the issue. I shall also be forwarding my bill copies soon.

                          I had sent an inquiry to vodafone a few months ago. Basically i had been charged 1000 for some services which got activated at random, without my permission.
                          This happened dec 8, 2017. Phone num is [protected]
                          I immediately canceled the services and called vodafone to cancel my service.

                          For some strange reason, the services got canceled, but my number was still active.
                          You can check that there is no activity after dec 10.

                          I would like to review this bill - i can pay till dec 10 for the basic service.
                          I do not wish to pay for the additional services as it was not activated by me - and if you check on the internet, you will find multiple complaints about this.

                            Hello, Vodafone had deducted 80 rs unfairly immediately after my recharge.. they are giving excuse that u have used your data and they are giving usage time before my recharge.. when I don't have enough balance in my account, how could I use the data services!

                            Such a pathetic answer by Vodafone executive!

                              Sir/madam,
                              I had a recharge of rs 100 on 3rd october 2018 through hdfc credit card, transaction id: tltp7779768 which had rejected by the vodafone company (Transaction no. : onr[protected] as recharge of rs 100 is no longer available by the company as they have changed the recharge option to rs, 95.

                              When i am communication to the vodafone they are saying that it was a failed transaction and when i am communication with the bank they are saying that it was a successful transaction and they have also mentioned in the bank statement.

                              Still i have not received this amount back in my account from vodafone company.

                                I recharged twice my above number with 399 plane for data of 70 days as published in your web sight. Last lime i got exhausted in one month only, the phone should be active for 70 days of duration. This time i charged with again 399 yesterday, i am not able to connect your net and receiving a mail that i have been alloted 349 rupees plane for one month only. Where the balance of my money has gone. Please look into this problem else stop my account with vodafone.

                                My mobile msg is not able to send but received easily, my Vodafone mobilenumber msg center number isdeleted so. Please understand thatproplem and send as a message to me
                                The above mentioned pack was activated on my phone without my consent and without any intimation to me. The pack was activated on 1st Oct and I received a message on 5th October. On complaining I was told that I have activated the pack. However I have not activated any pack. 21 Rs was deducted from my balance. I demand that my money be Refunded.

                                  Vodafone is biggest flop service provder. Now doing cheap practice to earn money by activating paid value added services without consent of customer. I am tired of deactivating them again and again.
                                  Now i will change the subscriber if this issue won't be resolved anymore.

                                  I got two services got activated where it state that amount will be added in the bill. But i had not asked to activate the services. Now its pathetic that i have to deactivate the service again and again.

                                    I have paid for a 3 months data pack, but still keep getting messages that my data pack is over, and need to go for another pack, when i try to reach out to the customer service representative, at [protected], the ivr does not allow you to contact a live person, it is moving in a loop, after, selecting appropriate options..

                                    Too much patience. All don't have the time.
                                    Please investigate.

                                      I went to mauritius on a international trip. My number is [protected] (Sam thomas). I haven’t registered for any international roaming services on my trip and through out the trip i had wifi devices as well as a local sim number in which i was running a hotspot.

                                      When i landed in india, there was no internet and i called customer service rigorously who made me troubleshoot the mobile with settings and then later asked me to reboot, asked me to take the sim slot out and re-insert in may be half a dozen calls spread across 2 days.

                                      Finally they agreed to launch my complaint and gave me an assurance of 24 hours to resolve it on 9th of october 2018

                                      Nothing happened. I called them again and this time there server was working and hence they checked my details and told me that i have a gprs bill or 20000 due to international roaming (Which i never activated).

                                      Neither did i get any notification for activating the roaming. Neither did i get a notification that an international roaming plan is currently active.

                                      What will you call this?

                                      Now the guy told me to visit the vodafone center to clear my queries. I did that. My token number on 13th october at powai vodafone store was 68

                                      I told them about the call and they checked my details and said sir it got barred by mistake and it will be released immediately before 8 pm as you have a healthy credit limit and you have no dues.

                                      As i guessed it, internet didn’t come back. Nor on saturday or on sunday.

                                      A bill came for 5.5k rs. I paid it off even though there was charges which were unjustified just in the hope that my internet could resume. It started effecting my work as i was missing deadlines and important customer mails given that i am in a sales job. I felt i will question them later about the odd charges later (My mistake)

                                      The internet didn’t come back again.

                                      Irritated to the core, i called customer support enquires about the matter 15 th october. The girl replied sir you have made the payment of this month’s bill in time and have a good credit limit. Your services should resume in 30 mins.

                                      Waited.. Waited... Waited and it was 7 pm. I didn’t have the time in office to breath before 7 and hence called back again giving them the complaint request number this time :[protected]

                                      The guy picked up and it was back to the same discussion which started on 8 th october... Gprs is barred due to non payment... Freak!!
                                      Go to the vodafone center!!!

                                      Sir. I went they checked my status and had promised to unbar my gprs

                                      Which never happened!! I have no dues

                                      I even the bill i got yesterday so that my internet could resume. You don’t realise how much of a trouble am i going through because of this.

                                      To which the gentleman replies “ me bata toh raha hun paise due hain “

                                      Me : i went to the vodafone center they checked the status and mentioned there are no pending dues

                                      Customer rep : par me bata raha hun aapko ki you have to pay 20000

                                      Me : why on earth???

                                      Cr : you have to go to vodafone store to check that

                                      Me : i just went there on saturday

                                      Cr : you have to go again

                                      I had to hang up post that cause i had no energy left.

                                      I don’t know how this will be resolved or will never be resolved.

                                      Hence i seek help.

                                      Or will be advisable to port number

                                      I am a vodafone customer from indian registered SIM. I am working at Germany i am not getting signals in vodafone.

                                        I visited Vodafone gallery 3 times, asked me to put SIM into another phone, made me change settings, they convinced me that they made a complaint to their IT department, but still even after 1week I can't send porting message. I have minimum balance to send SMS, the normal SMS & calling is working, SIM is not damaged, still I have to face this. I called the Vodafone customer care number atleast 3-4 times but they say it would be solved soon, but there is no progress.

                                        I want to port to Jio as their per day cost is ₹4.75 (according to ₹399 plan of 3months. So per month cost is 150) Also, the minimum postpaid plan for Vodafone is ₹249.
