I got my prepaid mobile number converted to post paid number for a plan of rs 699. However my first bill i received was for rs 1800 approx. Also i requested customer care to change my plan request and send me the reviewed bill which never happened. In the next month i received another bill for rs 1800 along with late fee charges which i again asked for clarification. However the issue was not resolved and my mobile number was put out of service. I faced a lot of problems as it was my 10 yrs old number. I regret that i chose vodafone services. Please clarify the issue. I am also planning to raise a consumer court complaint against this act of company.

i have tried to get the issue resolves and called customer care services atleast 10 times. However no agent was proficient enough to resolve the issue. I shall also be forwarding my bill copies soon.

    I had sent an inquiry to vodafone a few months ago. Basically i had been charged 1000 for some services which got activated at random, without my permission.
    This happened dec 8, 2017. Phone num is [protected]
    I immediately canceled the services and called vodafone to cancel my service.

    For some strange reason, the services got canceled, but my number was still active.
    You can check that there is no activity after dec 10.

    I would like to review this bill - i can pay till dec 10 for the basic service.
    I do not wish to pay for the additional services as it was not activated by me - and if you check on the internet, you will find multiple complaints about this.
    Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I have done pay 4G plan
    But maximum time mobile network showing 2G type... This is not expected vodaphone..my address is utterpanchano gram, , topsia road, , Kolkata 39..

      Hello, Vodafone had deducted 80 rs unfairly immediately after my recharge.. they are giving excuse that u have used your data and they are giving usage time before my recharge.. when I don't have enough balance in my account, how could I use the data services!

      Such a pathetic answer by Vodafone executive!

        Sir/madam,
        I had a recharge of rs 100 on 3rd october 2018 through hdfc credit card, transaction id: tltp7779768 which had rejected by the vodafone company (Transaction no. : onr[protected] as recharge of rs 100 is no longer available by the company as they have changed the recharge option to rs, 95.

        When i am communication to the vodafone they are saying that it was a failed transaction and when i am communication with the bank they are saying that it was a successful transaction and they have also mentioned in the bank statement.

        Still i have not received this amount back in my account from vodafone company.

          Dear sir,
          I recharged twice my above number with 399 plane for data of 70 days as published in your web sight. Last lime i got exhausted in one month only, the phone should be active for 70 days of duration. This time i charged with again 399 yesterday, i am not able to connect your net and receiving a mail that i have been alloted 349 rupees plane for one month only. Where the balance of my money has gone. Please look into this problem else stop my account with vodafone.

          I would like to surrender my vodafone post paid connection-[protected]. I don't want to take this connection due to some personal issues. I was asked to mail you reg this. Please de-activate this number as soon as possible.
          My mobile msg is not able to send but received easily, my Vodafone mobilenumber msg center number isdeleted so. Please understand thatproplem and send as a message to me
          The above mentioned pack was activated on my phone without my consent and without any intimation to me. The pack was activated on 1st Oct and I received a message on 5th October. On complaining I was told that I have activated the pack. However I have not activated any pack. 21 Rs was deducted from my balance. I demand that my money be Refunded.

            Vodafone is biggest flop service provder. Now doing cheap practice to earn money by activating paid value added services without consent of customer. I am tired of deactivating them again and again.
            Now i will change the subscriber if this issue won't be resolved anymore.

            I got two services got activated where it state that amount will be added in the bill. But i had not asked to activate the services. Now its pathetic that i have to deactivate the service again and again.

              I have paid for a 3 months data pack, but still keep getting messages that my data pack is over, and need to go for another pack, when i try to reach out to the customer service representative, at [protected], the ivr does not allow you to contact a live person, it is moving in a loop, after, selecting appropriate options..

              Too much patience. All don't have the time.
              Please investigate.

                I went to mauritius on a international trip. My number is [protected] (Sam thomas). I haven’t registered for any international roaming services on my trip and through out the trip i had wifi devices as well as a local sim number in which i was running a hotspot.

                When i landed in india, there was no internet and i called customer service rigorously who made me troubleshoot the mobile with settings and then later asked me to reboot, asked me to take the sim slot out and re-insert in may be half a dozen calls spread across 2 days.

                Finally they agreed to launch my complaint and gave me an assurance of 24 hours to resolve it on 9th of october 2018

                Nothing happened. I called them again and this time there server was working and hence they checked my details and told me that i have a gprs bill or 20000 due to international roaming (Which i never activated).

                Neither did i get any notification for activating the roaming. Neither did i get a notification that an international roaming plan is currently active.

                What will you call this?

                Now the guy told me to visit the vodafone center to clear my queries. I did that. My token number on 13th october at powai vodafone store was 68

                I told them about the call and they checked my details and said sir it got barred by mistake and it will be released immediately before 8 pm as you have a healthy credit limit and you have no dues.

                As i guessed it, internet didn’t come back. Nor on saturday or on sunday.

                A bill came for 5.5k rs. I paid it off even though there was charges which were unjustified just in the hope that my internet could resume. It started effecting my work as i was missing deadlines and important customer mails given that i am in a sales job. I felt i will question them later about the odd charges later (My mistake)

                The internet didn’t come back again.

                Irritated to the core, i called customer support enquires about the matter 15 th october. The girl replied sir you have made the payment of this month’s bill in time and have a good credit limit. Your services should resume in 30 mins.

                Waited.. Waited... Waited and it was 7 pm. I didn’t have the time in office to breath before 7 and hence called back again giving them the complaint request number this time :[protected]

                The guy picked up and it was back to the same discussion which started on 8 th october... Gprs is barred due to non payment... Freak!!
                Go to the vodafone center!!!

                Sir. I went they checked my status and had promised to unbar my gprs

                Which never happened!! I have no dues

                I even the bill i got yesterday so that my internet could resume. You don’t realise how much of a trouble am i going through because of this.

                To which the gentleman replies “ me bata toh raha hun paise due hain “

                Me : i went to the vodafone center they checked the status and mentioned there are no pending dues

                Customer rep : par me bata raha hun aapko ki you have to pay 20000

                Me : why on earth???

                Cr : you have to go to vodafone store to check that

                Me : i just went there on saturday

                Cr : you have to go again

                I had to hang up post that cause i had no energy left.

                I don’t know how this will be resolved or will never be resolved.

                Hence i seek help.

                Or will be advisable to port number

                  I visited Vodafone gallery 3 times, asked me to put SIM into another phone, made me change settings, they convinced me that they made a complaint to their IT department, but still even after 1week I can't send porting message. I have minimum balance to send SMS, the normal SMS & calling is working, SIM is not damaged, still I have to face this. I called the Vodafone customer care number atleast 3-4 times but they say it would be solved soon, but there is no progress.

                  I want to port to Jio as their per day cost is ₹4.75 (according to ₹399 plan of 3months. So per month cost is 150) Also, the minimum postpaid plan for Vodafone is ₹249.

                    The vodafone store outlet at leela bhawan patiala punjab - 147001 took rs. 500 security n claim that only rs. 199 is given.
                    They are a fraud team of people. N now there is no other way to prove my word, against their words. Moreover vodafone is not disconnecting my number to extract more money out of me.

                    Kindly disconnect this phone n let me know the due amount.

                      I am not satisfied with Vodafone Network. Hence, i want to move to Airtel but sending SMS to 1900 for Porting is showing failure for multiple times.

                      While I tried to reach out ot Customer care more than 4 times and all time getting different answers with no quick resolution.

                      I was asked to:
                      1. Mobile recharge
                      2. Change message centre no.
                      3. Take out Sim and reinsert and then restart the phone
                      4. Go to the nearest Store for help.

                      It has been 15 days now and hence Require an earliest resolution.

                        After spending more than an hour to raise a request on 198 for vodafone, helpdesk advice to raise a request to corporate helpdesk email i'd. Why can't they let you know in the beginning of the call and don't waste time of customer.
                        I never received resolution on my complaints from vodafone ever.
                        They charge anything in their bill and without informing customer and never hear from customer to provide resolution.
                        It is a shame to vodafone.

                            With reference of my complain on www.pgportal.gov.in dotel/e/2018/10370, dotel/e/2018/14358, 815414. All complaint closed by company with real facts and irresponsible act. Again i lodge complain 830844 and 834977 ask company to provide me my bill till date 27 jan and 2 june 2018. But again company hide facts and revert with misguide. It is very clear that they make me fool for more than 8 month. Company app not showing exact date bill.
                            Finally consumer helpline advised me to lodge complain on department of telecommunication.
                            Due to network issue i applied to change my post paid connection to prepaid. I visited vodaphone big store nirman vihar new delhi and paid previous and advanced bill, my bill till 23 jan attached for rs 79.88. And i paid rs 150 on 27 jan 2018, vodafone big store executive calculated the bill and told me u have to pay rs 150 and gave a blank sim ([protected]h-1ge). He assured me your number will automatically convert within 48 hours. So i paid approx. Rs 70 extra. And bill paid by debit card sbipg lt[protected]vodakioskp mumbai this identity will confirm i visited vodafone big store.
                            But company cheated me and not provide me service /migrate my number. I contacted vodafone executives several times but they generated bill against my number continuously.
                            While i am suffering for more than 4 month i was ready for settlement. Company offer me to paid rs 182.5 and they committed and assured me this time store manager will help me and my number will be migrated and no in convenience will be occurred.
                            After again paying bill i visited vodafone store delhi but in vain. I contacted vodafone executives and they directed me to pay bill and promised me that if i visited vodafone store i shall easily get my prepaid number and i dont have to pay any amount there because your bill till 2.7.18 has been cleared (I have recorded promise if company wants to listen i can send them). I did so and again visited vodafone nirman vihar store but store manager denied to help me and said to pay more money. I returned back to my work. Now i am too frustrated and harassed.
                            Now they stop my number all services and generated a bill approx. 1000 rs and demanding it to start my number services again in postpaid. I dont know this company why targeting me and harassing me too much. Now i am again unable to visit this company store. I simply requested this company to provide my prepaid number without no more harassing me.

                              Total of 166 rupees has been deducted from my account in last two weeks. Some services have been activated on my number without my knowledge. My current balance is minus 100 rupees. This is third incident in this month. Plead look into this and refund my balance asap. All of sudden i started receiving messages saying service has been activated on your number and your balance has been deducted as a charge of the service. However i have not requested any service.in first incident 7 rupees deducted, in second incident 10 rupees deducted which were reimbursed after calling customer care.in third incident 159 rupees deducted and third incident has happened today. Please help me with this.

                                I have been contacting Vodafone postpaid care for network issues in my area. Network is missing in my phone half of the times and too much fluctuations. Forget about the internet, basic calling is difficult here and i am paying them 399 INR per month Here is thr response i got after so many complaints and follow ups:

                                As discussed, the investigation has provided the following information “Weak coverage strength observed indoor 2G/3G/4G network. Your location surrounded by dense clutter, optimization will not help to improve coverage indoor.”

                                By the way, strange is that without visiting my place, they know my indoor network situations. Even if I stand in open balcony, network issues are there. And there are bo tall buildings around. Don't know which place they visited and how they came up with this observations. Finally they told that they cannot help me.

                                  1- i had ported my vodafone number 9xxxxxxxx5 to jio in the month of july 2018 and paid more than the bill amount. This excess amount was supposed to be reimbursed to me.
                                  2- i started my journey to get back my meagre amount of rs 184/- approximately in the last week of august 2018 and first week of september 2018 via mail to nodal. [protected]@vodafone.com. On 5th september 2018, at 12.07, i got a mail from mr abhishek kumar sharma via reference number [protected] that he has done systematic cross check and found that the refund cheque was handed over to courier agency on 11/8/2018. He has forwarded my issue to concerned team for necessary investigation of status of regund and he will update me through suitable media once receive update from them. I am sorry to write that there was no updation from his side, even till now.
                                  3- i asked via email (After not receiving any update) to provide me the courier details. I got the courier details (Pod no u[protected] through first flight) but to my surprise, when i checked the status of the packet in site, it showed me just "delivered to jamshedpur hub".
                                  4- on 22nd september, i again contacted mr abhishek sharma via nodal. [protected]@vodafone.com. I had written that i am yet to receive my refund cheque, though the courier details tracking shows that its been already delivered at jamshedpur location/hub of vodafone. I had also written that any further delay in receiving my refund will attract penalty on your company just like your clause on bills for the consumers who delay in making their bill payment."
                                  5- on the same day, i visited vodafone jamshedpur hub and met the local guy mr premshankar prasad. Now, he was said that he wil contact me (He never did and i am always calling to get updates). He started mailing to his team but he also could not find any answer till date and i am still waiting to get reply.
                                  6- all of a sudden, while your local guys like premshankar and subhrangshu are following up with your department to find the whereabouts of refund cheque, i am getting a mail from"refund. [protected]@vodafoneinfo.com" on 1st october 2018 that they had tried to deliver my cheque to my house but i was not available.
                                  I am surprised to get this stupid system generated email from your department... Your local guys are following up with you. I am following up with mr abhishek sharma, nodal guy, who has no knowledge of refund cheque and now, your system generated email confirms that they had tried to deliver my cheque..!!!

                                      Vodafone prepaid, doesn't care about its customers anymore. I filled my balance to rs 200 which is my moms phone and used rs 21 to get the i hour unlimited 4g since she wanted to see netflix old movies.

                                      I always do this and have been doing this for months, whenever she wants to watch. After 1 hour the net disconnects and the balance remains intact.

                                      This time the net was on and it used up the entire rs 200. She was sick and couldn't call me as all the balance was lost.

                                      I emailed and called vodafone and they say it's a valid charge and your mother has used it. So, we cant do anything.

                                        I haven't been using my number for 3 months. I haven't been paying the bills either. I had gotten smss warning me of the services being interrupted/becoming inactive but i'm still being billed every month instead of deactivating the services. The first time i called the customer care, they've asked me to pay the month's bill and they'd deactivate the number. I paid the bill even though i hadn't used the number and called them back. Then they asked me to go to a vodafone store. I really don't want to waste my time going to a store on such a trivial matter. Why can't vodafone just stop the services and stop billing me? I have set a credit limit of 800 but somehow my present withstanding bill is nearly rs.1, 200. Please deactivate my number or stop the services and stop billing me.
