I got a fraud call from one lady introducing herself as sbi employee saying they are calling from sbi bank
and told me my credit card details as well and asked me to read out the message that i got from sbi. She convinced me by providing some other details also where i had to believe that she is actually calling from sbi. Then she told that my credit points has expired and needs to be credited in my account immediately.
The message was one time password message and i thought that the call is from bank and told everything mentioned in the message. She sent this message multiple times and asked me to read out the message as every time she was telling that otp is not working.in this course of conversion, she told my citi card details as well and get the messages.
Later i got messages on my mobile and realised that it was a fraud call and the money are deducted six times with the below details,
Citi – 43xx xxxx xxxx 8791 (4 transactions)
Tata sbi card
– 52xx xxxx xxxx 9322 (2 transaction)
The caller called me from mobile number[protected] and asked me the message details, which i provided unknowingly as i was not well and lying half sleep.
I observed that all the payments are made on 20th of august into visa billpay-vodafone mumbai
I have already informed and lodged a complaint/ fir to cybercrime police
I am requesting you to please help me in this case and stop the payment of these transactions to the respective culprit and process the refund.
