I have been a Vodafone postpaid customer for the past 5+ years (maybe even longer). For one of my official trips to the United States of America, I activated (on the Vodafone App) the 7-day iRoamFREE International Roaming pack for INR2, 500 effective from 17-SEP-2018 India time. However, throughout my week-long stay in the US across multiple cities, I had no data access. Almost every night during my stay in the US, I used the Vodafone App to chat with Customer Service explaining them the problem. Each time, it was diagnosed as a different problem and I was offered a different solution and told that the problem will get resolved in either 30mins or 2hrs or 48hrs.
I got back to India (Mumbai) on 24-SEP-2018 (almost midnight India time) and today is 03-OCT-2018. It has been 9 days since I'm back in India and my issue is still not resolved. I have received numerous customer care calls acknowledging that Vodafone has barred my GPRS and that there was a technical error in activating my request for internet services.
At a time when Jio has shafted every telecom operator - even more so when Vodafone is in an India-exit mode fearing loss of profitability, data has been made free - and yet, I'm continuing to pay through my nose and yet not get the basic service that I deserve. How do I take Vodafone to justice?
